There's definitely a good bit of error there, which I really doubt since the coins at minted by respected sources. Those coins are probably either .999 or .9999 and that thousandth or ten thousandth of an percent does not result in a 1-2% error.

PM or post offers that you have. Payment in BTC. I like the G500, but others are welcome.

I just wanted to pop back in and say thanks again. Things like this are great for the community to grow and use more currencies.

Let's take a chill pill. LTC gained real value in the last two weeks. On top of that, SR has been around for a good while, and Atlantis has just recently popped up (to my knowledge, I first read about it today). So let's take a deep breath. A crypto with a $500+ million market cap isn't just going to disappear because a smaller, just recently viable one has a website for weed.  Roll Eyes

You guys keep thinking about the value of the coins, but not what they have to offer

It's not all about value, but value is a pretty good indicator of how well established a cryptocurrency is, and the general size of the foothold. If no one but personal traders accepted BTC, you better believe the price wouldn't be where it is. Which goes to show that with a higher price comes a [more] widespread acceptance of a coin as a medium of trade, and a much stronger role in the economy/everyday lives.

Officially no longer looking for cards. Grabbed a 580 Lightning tonight, and I have all the cards I need for now.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low Litecoin hashrates on 5870s on: March 18, 2013, 05:17:04 AM
I agree with what has been said. Intensity needs to go up for sure. I get ~310khash with a 5850. You should be 350+ with that 5870 on comparable settings.

Are those cut from bad wafers? That's a really cool idea!
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To All The LTC Haters on: March 18, 2013, 01:59:46 AM
I have litecoins myself, and I don't hate them. I'm just butthurt because I was in the market for a 7970, and of course the two sellers I had got boners for the $.60/LTC and withdrew the sale from under me. I personally think it's a poor habit as a seller. When people make bids in an auction, that's a binding agreement. Agreeing to sell once someone has made an offer should be binding, unless that person has been an asshole in the time between the offer and the sale. Then it's at the seller's discretion. But I have made quite a few trades on this forum and others and I work hard to treat people I'm dealing with with respect.

I ended up getting a much better 7970 anyway (Lightning), and I made some money when LTC rose, so I won't really complain.

Edit: Hello Klear!!!

You see, that's the opposite of what I'm looking for. Not only is everything over priced on eBay, but you should be offering an incentive to use bitcoins, and not to use my PayPal account so that bitcoin can grow. So I'm going to say no to your offer.
292  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB: Weller WLC100 or Other Well-branded Soldering Station on: March 17, 2013, 11:46:58 PM
I'm still looking for a nice soldering station!

I'll take one if they are still available.  Smiley

I'm not in the market for 7970's, but that price is outrageous. I paid less for a Lightning version. Which, by the way, is much harder to find (because they are no longer for sale), and cost $100 more when they were sold retail. So keep your cards and mine away, because there is no way anyone is going to extort me into buying 7970's at $350. I'd rather just buy brand new cards using Occulta's 10% off deal on Amazon than buy a used card for that much. So thanks, but no thanks.

Bought a 7970 Lightning elsewhere. Looking for other cards only if the deal is good now.

I can't see that thread, so who is being accused?

That's not actually my rig, but I've done all of that before. I own a 150L dewar and all the hardware to use liquid nitrogen. It's only viable for a few hours because of the condensation. But www.hwbot.org keeps track of points and standings in the various benchmark programs. It's a hobby, but a competitive one.

Edit: He are some more gratuitous pictures Smiley

My apologies then. I was just a bit confused because on my page, it says I am the buyer. LOL

I'm really wanting to get a 7970 for those who have them. If the price I have listed doesn't do it for you, we can talk about a price. I'd like to get the card before the end of the month. And just to clarify, I am not mining with the card. I'll be using it for this:
