101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you must follow or use the services of trading signals providers on: August 26, 2023, 09:04:51 PM
This is one of the best ways to make  use of or follow trading signals channels or services. What is your opinion?
This may be true because you only need to follow what is mentioned in the signal by first studying it but the drawback is that you will become choked on trading skills because it will gradually depend on the signal. The best thing traders should do is never rely on such a thing because like you it can be wrong than the signal too, but the mistakes you make will add to your trading skills because doing all trading with your own analysis.
Another thing I think spending money to join signals with no certainty of profit is another loss.
That is true, you should not rely on signals if it comes from others, but you could make your own signals as well, which would be fine. How? Well lets say you use tradinview, and like an indicator, and you tell tradingview that when that indicator hits a certain number it should mail you, it will, and then you go ahead and buy because it hit that level. That is definitely a good thing and should be considered a profit as well.

I know that it will not be that simple but as long as you do that, it will definitely have a good chance of making a profit. I believe that we are going to end up with a good return one way or another, and it should not be really possible for us to end up with a bad return, it should be our own personal signaling process.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I can’t cope on my own. What do you think I should do? on: August 26, 2023, 08:16:54 PM
I think you should just quit gambling all together. No offense, but it would seem that you’ve got a bit of a gambling addiction. At least that’s what it sounds like to me. I think you’d be better off that way then you’d not have to worry about losing money. Just take the money you would normally use to gamble and invest it. That’s what I would do.
Although investing do also has a risk but I think it's much better than in gambling. Other than we can simply choose a Bitcoin, it can also teach us to be patient. Very much different in gambling. That can prevent us to become an addict and prevent us from losing too much money. All that we can get in investing are mostly profits.

If there is one thing that investing can't provide but gambling can, that would be entertainment. But, if this was the only one that we look for gambling, then why can we just play in demo mode? In the Playstore, I saw lots of gambling apps who does not allow deposits. If ain't working or this can still lead us to play real gambling, well I guess we should find another way to entertain ourselves.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Stay Safe and Avoid Scams When Gambling Online on: August 26, 2023, 06:44:15 PM
I don't see why you could avoid scams by signing up only to the Bitcoin casino with an email address. You still can be scammed by a scam BTC casino out there because the crypto casinos these days are asking KYC as well.

What you need to do to stay safe is to sign up only to the trusted Bitcoin casino. The famous ones have been operating the business for a long time because this for sure is not gonna close shops because of your $1M.
We still can. And that is when we deposit on a scam casino. But it becomes worse if you also gave your KYC to them because they can smuggled it as well. There are still legit casinos which are KYC enabled. I have no problems on using them but some people who value their privacy the most, may completely avoid them.

One million dollars is a hell lot of money and I think many old and famous casinos can risk their reputation with it, especially if they are on their down times where their income is at their all time low. I already witnessed a couple of them who ended up like that. So don't say that they don't. Never put all your trust anywhere dude.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Vs legit Altcoins in 2023 on: August 25, 2023, 08:38:20 PM
Meme coin does not have a blockchain.
For now, yes, but that will change in the future, as Shiba Inu has been preparing its L2 blockchain for a long time, called Shibarium. Even though this will be the first memcoin to have its own network, I don't believe that this is the reason why all memcoins are scams and useless investments. It's all about the very nature of memcoin being a short-term strategy. Of course, there are exceptions to the rule, such as DOGE, which has been on the market for 10 years, but all other memcoins are designed to be short-lived. Why would coins with short investment activity need their own blockchains. It is expensive and time-consuming.
That will not really change anything for me, even if shiba had its own chain one day, that doesn't mean that it will be a legit project for me. They could be a token they could be a coin, they could be anything they want and the result will be the same for me in the end, they are just useless and should not be considered as a possible profit maker.

I think it is quite important to realize that if we can't make a profit right now, then it is not going to end up very well for us in the end neither, and thinking shiba will be the one that profits us, is a wrong thinking. It is just a meme, it is just fun, it is not a serious investment and it is only looking to make profit based on hype and nothing more, hell Elon is the only reason it even exists.
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: newbie with newbie questions on: August 25, 2023, 08:08:26 PM
It is better than you learn the fundamental and technical analysis, also the risk management, and this takes a lot of time and much commitment. You can read this post as a newbie for you to decide if you will still go into trading or not.
By 1miau "Trade vs. HODL - avoid traps" as well.

By Ruttoshi  Newbies say No to trading
Each of us has their own preference. Maybe for you it was HODLing but to him and to others, it was trading. Binance is the biggest so obviously a lot of traders/people are using it but there are still other exchanges out there which are also trusted and have exciting features which are not found in Binance. We shouldn't be afraid to try them as well.

In trading, it was usually the technical analysis is the one that is being used the most rather than the fundamental analysis but I think both can be helpful for us so why not? Learning things can take time if we are a slow learner but it's okay, at least we don't rush and don't take learning seriously as that can be a hindrance to our success here in trading. The picture that you attached seems bias. I don't think Holding is that easy. The pic that I have uploaded below ⤵ must be the true illustration of HODLing.

106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What micro games is best for you? on: August 25, 2023, 07:20:10 PM
By my definition of micro games, It’s a game that let you bet small amount such as penny that has an option to scale up slowly.

I play slots, mines, dice and live game show. What I really like the most in terms of return is slow games because it can give you a possibility of high return on small bet in random manner unlike dice and mines that you need to setup the difficulty just to have a chance to get that target huge profit.

What micro games works well on your gambling style?
I think dice and slots only for me and besides these are my favorites although I play sometimes with crash. Well, I find it easy to sometimes play with them on automatic mode although I get wrong sometimes on the multiplier I set that ends up draining my portfolio, it happen I guess two times already.
This can depend on the site and to the slot provider that we are playing because sometimes their minimum bets are high. You can not call them micro games anymore. BTW, The first thing that came into my mind after reading the word micro game is mini games. Mini games in casino must be the original games like coin flip and rock paper and scissors.

I don't play gambling in automatic mode because I feel that it's not fun and I'm only wasting my money, unless of course if I win. Sorry to hear about your gameplay mate but imagine if it hits? Maybe you are also jumping out of joy. You need to be calm and double check things first or better wear a glasses. Maybe you have problems with your eyesight already Cheesy.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 25, 2023, 06:52:21 PM
I don't know where some gamblers are getting their confidence from, do you know that online casinos can keep rejecting your ID after you made some high amount of money? Some people cares about winning first before passing KYC, it's cool you believe that you won't always win but the luck comes when we least expected.

Imagine winning and you find it hard to pass KYC, trapping your money on the casino for like ever.

It's not always the casinos fault, I know some are dubious but the thing is KYC verification is something you should first deal with before making your first deposit.

Online casinos can be frustrating at times, some casino won't accept your submitted document even when you haven't make any deposit on the platform yet, so always confirm your identity first.

Submit your identity and wait for approval, do not be in haste to make deposit first, because the identity you submitted without a green approval from the team can still be rejected, take your time to get the passed approval first before proceeding with gambling.
As for me, I am confident to do a KYC after I have done enough research and found out that the casino is legit. Only those shady casinos are going to do what you said. In the era of KYC, I always make sure that I verify my account first before getting started. I recommend other people to do the same. It's only for our own good.

Yes, not all times it's in the casino but sometimes it's about us. Our pictures are blurry so it is rejected and we did not follow their other instructions. So it's better to observed first than to blame easily. If it takes a long time to approve our KYC, or we simply find it hard to pass them and there are no money involved yet, we can always moved on to the other platform.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some smart guy converted $1000 to 1 million in one day with $BALD coin on: August 25, 2023, 06:06:50 PM
this kind of thing i'm pretty much sure that it can be pulled by people that have insiders advantage, and I do agree with some statements that these kind of news was spread for marketing stunt in purposes of
garnering attention from the so called meme coins fans to invest in it, even like that we all should know well the fact that such massive investment might only happened to this one person, the other are already very late to invest since the price has already gone up.
at best it will be some measly gains, at worse, instead the token will be going downhill since here on, after all if the news of meme coins massively gaining some rally already spread through some media, then we can be sure that its pretty much late to invests, not that i'm gonna invests in these meme coins anyway.
in short, don't get too tempted on this situation. we don't know the real situation here. most alts will give you false hope and once you get in, as you said, you are already too late.
but if that person has nothing to do with the BALD team, then i would say, he's a very lucky person gaining such amount from his investments. but should be very careful in his succeeding investments as he may got mistake and lose a lot.
Only naive and newbie's are the ones who will get tempted to this but for us experienced users we already know that it's a red flag even just by reading its title alone. I even laugh a bit when I read the name of this token. Really? $BALD? LoL. With a name like this, we can easily say that they are not serious. And this is not the first time I saw it here. That is another evidence that they are only shilling it.

Most altcoins can still give some early profits before they collapsed but it's still not advisable especially for the newbies. There are so many legit coins out there which can also give us a better return but with only less risks so why look for the others?
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: August 24, 2023, 08:40:46 PM
Most of their online gamblers carry out gambling activities at night. Apart from being able to avoid the disturbance of the people around so they can calmly carry out their gambling activities. And according to some people, the percentage of wins given by the dealer will be higher if played at night.

And I very rarely meet if there are people who do gambling activities in the morning, except for those who spend time playing gambling from midnight to early morning and miss their bedtime.

Greedy attitude in gambling is a natural thing, because they do not set deposit limits and win targets to be achieved. So that they continue to chase as much victory as possible.

Gambling should be done not for the pursuit of profit but about pleasure to fill free time and not the other way around to spend time gambling.
I think the main reason is because most of us has a day to night jobs. We can't play gambling inside of our company and we can also get distracted if we do so, so it's better if we just play when we time out. I don't believe that we have more chances of winning in night time. I actually tested all the time (i.e early morning, morning, mid-morning, etc..) and the results are always random.

I don't think those who play for profit, don't have a target win. They have it but like anyone else, they will only continue and see if they can win again. It's hard to make a profit out of gambling so that's right that we should only play for fun using small amounts.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: History of Gambling From Ancient Times to the Digital Age on: August 24, 2023, 07:10:32 PM
From the history of gambling it's like every tribe tried to create a means for recreational activity which metamorphosed into what it's known today as gambling
I always thought that in the beginning people used gambling not to wager money but to try to to contact heir gods and deities, as OP says.
They thought that random results were messages from them and tried to interpret them to know things they were interested in like the quality of the crops, the weather and if they should to declare war against other tribes.

After money got invented in the form of coins, gambling got more widespread, I recall seeing in a documentary film that taverns where people gambled existed in the Islands of the UK close to the Romans times.
I think there is no money back in time but maybe they can use other valuable things, or food for example. They can also use gambling as another way to entertain their selves, as gadgets and other electronics are not yet invented, but that is not the case here. It was truly unexpected. When coins are invented, this allows coin-operated gambling machines to be born. They became a hit because they are convenient.

You can see them in the bar, gas station, mini marts, etc.. and you can simply try your luck if you have an extra coin in your pocket. Fast forward, we are now on the era where online gambling is dominating. Well it's because they are much more convenient.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This Will give you motivation to learn finances and market the right ways on: August 24, 2023, 06:39:26 PM
$35k-$40k in the next 2 years?
Are you sure about that?

Analysis is necessary, but if you are just groping with your vision, it seems to be extreme speculation without any analysis.
Maybe a drop to $19k will still happen, but a 2-year high is unacceptable.

Everyone says 2024-2025 are good years where Bitcoin can reach its latest ATH, above $100k, and even more with strong support from the Bitcoin community.
You need to look further ahead, at how Bitcoin is developing, not just making speculation without any basis.
I agree that it will be much much higher, if we are looking into just 2 years into the future ı bet that even 100k+ is possible and it will probably happen. There needs to be some major situation going on in order to not see that and I thin kits quite important to make it happen. Obviously, it is not going to be simple like tomorrow we wake up and it is 100k+, that's going to take some time and it is going to higher and higher.

I think it is quite important to make that profit with time, and that is why it is so important. I guess we need to hope for something that will take some time, and gradually go up more and more and more. If that happens then we are going to end up with a profit that should make it a bigger and better deal.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: August 23, 2023, 07:28:39 PM
It is true that all of us have to be careful in taking steps or making decisions, even in gambling if someone is not careful in making a plan then it is very likely that problems will come to him (the gamblers). if we are not equipped with knowledge in gambling then in my opinion it will be very difficult for someone to win, therefore we must always study and understand each of these bets so that we don't lose money.
That is if you treat gambling like a normal person does or you always see it as an ATM. Well, you need to be careful because unlike to a real ATM, most of the times we are the ones who can give money to it and there is no way we can get it back unless of course if we will try our luck again and win this time. For those few people like me who only treat gambling as way to entertain myself, well I don't need to worry a lot.

I can just play carelessly because my deposit amount are only tiny and I am no way of going back to play again right after a lose or even when I'm winning. Knowledge only matters to skill-type games but you might still need some luck to successfully win on them.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you will do? on: August 23, 2023, 06:53:38 PM
Give up/taking break from gambling for some time period is the right choice, but our minds won't get into it. Used to stay away for some time period, beyond that it is like switching to other games lowering the bet amount. Even in that if I wasn't able to keep up the capital then choice is to go for higher bet amount. This is to recover the lost amount in all the previous bets. If we never think about win, then this won't be a big deal. When our focus is money then we should have the perfect control on our gambling activities.
This is what I did in the past but I think even at this very moment, as I experience a losing streak lately. It's only hard at first but you will soon get used to it and you can always divert your attention to other things to forget gambling for a while.

Switching to other games and lowering the bet amount is I think not a major solution and I believe that you can still increase your bets on that game especially when things are looking great. To have a mindset of recovering our previous loss is common for the gamblers but at the same time, we are always being reminded to remove that kind of mindset because it just doesn't work most of the times.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What micro games is best for you? on: August 23, 2023, 06:22:44 PM
Majority of the users prefer Dice and my choice is the same. Dice used to be the best for me amidst the win/loss experienced till date. I don't know the reason, but it is the one that feels easier and gives the comfort. When I experience continuous loss switching of games takes place. Particularly I prefer switching to crash or other luck based games.

The best thing experimented is playing Dice with 9999X with the lowest betting value for specific number of rolls. Till date haven't won in this, and once I saw the roll getting won on a void bet. Micro games makes people easily addictive, so we need the control and have our own limitations.
I think that is because Dice is one of the first game that is introduced in the world of crypto gambling. Even me, this is where I start and I still play this game up until now. Dice can be hard to some people especially if the design of the casino is not user friendly. If there is the easiest game, I think that will be Slots because we will just push the spin button. 9999x is the highest multiplier of most Dice games. That's right, you need to experiment on it because getting it is not easy.

Just keep on trying mate. I know you will catch this badass again soon but this time on a valid bet. In my case, I hit it on the past but like the others, my bets are only tiny so the wins are not that impressive enough. The experience was still great though.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 23, 2023, 05:50:38 PM
10 batsmen managed to score just 59 runs in an innings in ODI cricket which is a shameful collection for Afghanistan cricket. Afghanistan managed to restrict Pakistan to a limited number of runs in the first innings and it would not have been a surprise if Afghanistan had shown responsibility in the first ODI match against Pakistan. Since there was not much pressure for Afghanistan to score runs, if the Pakistani fast bowlers could play then maybe Afghanistan would not have suffered a humiliating defeat against Pakistan. Asia Cup just a few days away, such a humiliating defeat by Afghanistan is undoubtedly a major concern for the management.
Even this is not good performance from the Afghanistan but I have been still feeling it's not embarrassing because we all know they are good and under development in difficult circumstances with their batting is never been good against quality bowling even their spin bowling is giving them good chances to win matches but in this match at one stage I was feeling today they can win but sadly their selection of shots was not good with Pakistani fielding was also good which helps them for defending target like this.

If Afghanistan wants to have better success against quality teams they need to work on batting because without this their success is difficult even impossible, but this is also a good wake-up call for the Pakistan team and their batting as well for the coming events.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 23, 2023, 01:39:00 PM
Of course, this is possible because Ire Land is new but India is not a new team India has experienced in cricket. India can win this match easily and also India had Top Class batsman so, that's why everyone knows who will win this match.
I agree that India do have top class batsmen. But I don't agree with the argument that batsmen such as Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan are comparable with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. And also, I am not in agreement that scoring runs against teams like Ireland should be considered as earth-shattering achievements. India hasn't won a major ICC tournament for almost a decade now. Winning against Ireland by huge margins is good, but then they need to win consistently against top teams like Australia as well.
Things are changing in cricket rapidly, and now we also need to change our approach for the development of the game even IPL is big and BCCI doing right things for protecting this and their players, but they are also losing few things which are causing for the no in ICC events they have to sit down and work out on this as well even I am happy with their this approach as now they have T20i squad which is consistent of new generation players, and they can give them good result in coming years but still we are missing few things which are helpful for them and also for the quality of the game as well.

Tilak Verma, SKY and Ishan Kishan can take charge in coming years, and surely we can expect good batting from them for the India, but this is going to take time and surely with this all Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have to give up because they have already done their duty for the team and country.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Deflation on: August 22, 2023, 04:31:25 AM
Yeah, I'm talking about the mature Bitcoin market. On the way there we will have both monetary inflation and monetary deflation per capita. That is maybe not optimal but I can't think of a better way to do it. Anyway, it should work, and the end result is good.

Well, if you look at the nature of the problem, one of the main indicators is the existence of an interest rate policy issued by the Central Bank and the government and this results in a scarcity of money in circulation and causes a continuous decline in prices so that the country's economic condition becomes unstable. and my view is that the application of fiscal policy is needed here. related to how the government's strategy in responding to this and juxtaposing the wishes of many people who are starting to be interested in digital currencies such as BTC will be very interesting for us to follow together.
Yeah true, but there were a lot of printed ones as well recently which meant that the inflation was high and in order to stop inflation they had to do this, which makes sense because you have to stop inflation one way or another. I believe that it is going to be something important and we should be convinced that we are not going to end up with anything like that.

I feel like we should be considering the situation to be a bit different and if we keep doing it then we are going to be doing fine. Deflation has a great outcome eventually when you get over it, yes the stagflation and all that will hurt the economy and we are not going into a good period right now, but we are going to get out to a good period after that.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin negatives on: August 21, 2023, 06:50:39 PM
Some on your list may be true, some may be not. But have you also made a list of fiat negatives? Bitcoin is an alternative. You might want to take a closer look at the main option in order to have a fairer and more balanced view. Only then could you pass the final verdict and set aside Bitcoin. You might actually end up with a much longer list. There's a reason why fiat badly needs to have an alternative.

Also, Newton's third law of motion is true not just in physics but in other aspects of our existence as well. Every time we eat, we contribute to the world's degradation. Shall we stop eating?
You can also ask him to post the positives of Bitcoin. I am sure there are lots of it which can negate its negatives. Fiat might have some positives too but I think its negative is much more than it. That is the reason why Bitcoin is born to supply it.

If only the banks or governments are going to be asked, I think that fiat is already enough for them. For them it is already a perfect creation and there is no need for an alternative such as Bitcoin. They think that an alternative currency will only get the demand that their fiat is supposed to be getting or worse their fiat will be overcome by it. It's only funny that they didn't saw Bitcoin coming and it's now too late for them to stop it.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could stable coins save a deprecating economy on: August 20, 2023, 07:06:40 PM
stablecoins could provide some benefits in stabilizing a depreciating economy, they are not a comprehensive solution and should be considered as part of a broader strategy. Economic stability requires addressing underlying issues that cause depreciation, such as fiscal and monetary policy, structural reforms, and addressing external factors.
Stable coins might have that word " Stable " but they can still decline like a normal currency so I don't think they can provide a solution but unless maybe if we are talking about an almost dead currency like what have happened to the currency of some countries, as most stable coins in cryptos are backed by a dollar. As you said, they can only lend some help, so we shouldn't entirely depend on them.

Additionally, careful regulation and oversight are needed to ensure that stablecoins are used responsibly and do not lead to unintended negative consequences.
As I said earlier, Stable coins are like a regular currency, they are centralized and already regulated. There is still better than a Stable coin and that is, non-other than  Bitcoin. Stable coins are still subject to inflation but Bitcoin is an anti-inflation.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Navigating Bitcoin's Price Plunge: What Awaits Next? on: August 19, 2023, 08:08:15 PM
Well from the looks of things its not having a good day neither, a fall after a fall is always a bad indicator, it can fall once and that's not really a shocking deal, but from 29k to 27k already happened, and then it went from 27k to 26k levels as well. However, each fall brings us closer to a bull run as well, we all know that it will have a bull run so all we need to do is wait, the more it falls, the closer we get. Of course we can pass this period without going down as well, it can just stay the way it is, but that doesn't mean that we will never have any drops. So long story short, we are going to end up with a result where it will definitely have a problem if it doesn't fall and just accept that this is going to get better in the future.
This is just one of the hurdles in bitcoin market that I think can easily be surpassed.
Even if we say Musk's SpaceX company sold multi-million dollars worth of bitcoins, the plunge actually is not bad.
Because if this move was really huge, we can easily go down to 20k and below, so this won't last too long.
It can easily goes up as whales will try to get a hold of these cheaper bitcoins in the market.
So if have strong indication that anytime we will go up even to 30k level, you already have your profit when we go back to that price.
If you think it is a hurdle then maybe it is but if you will only keep thinking positively then you will think events like this are a good thing. I don't want to explain why because it's already obvious. There must be a reason on why Space'X sold their Bitcoins. It could be that they will use the money to improve their Twitter/X platform because we have seen so many changes about it recently.

The move done by Space'X was big but it seems not easy for the BTC price to go below $20k. That only shows how strong Bitcoin is, because it tries to resist the effect. We can always buy now if we want to earn quickly when the price recovers to $30k.
