101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: May 15, 2024, 09:56:44 PM
Anyway Im assuming that some team played not as good as they usually are because they are saving strats for DreamLeague season 23 though. There are alot at stake on this DreamLeague especially the EPT points. Alot of the leftover teams would be willing to get their hands on the EPT points to be invited on the next Riyadh Master
I agree.

On this Wallachia tournament, there is no EPT points to be distributed. But with the DL23, there's going to be a lot of it and aside from the $1M prize pool.

So, that makes sense for the other teams to get out of it quickly and prepare themselves for that next week and all of the strategies can be saved or they're just literally weak on PGL's Wallachia.

The future of BTC is no doubt brighter than we can ever imagine. Did we anticipated that this much attention from the institutions are going to be that big?

IMHO, I didn't.

Coming to all of those interested institutions, making a very big and bold move about it having an active spot ETF.

Lol did Satoshi himself knew it was gonna be this big?

I doubt it to be honest. I mean we all hope and dream but to actually think something of a reality is something not all of us can achieve to do. Many entrepreneurs and innovators have confidence with themselves but to actually see it come into fruition is a whole another thing.

No one definitely predicted it would reach this huge.
I don't think he'd see this coming but maybe he did and if someone is going to listen him by that time, he'd given a huge laugh and doubt.

But looking at what's happening right now, a trillion market cap and it's gotta be more soon and seems unstoppable. That's the only way to go for BTC.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 15, 2024, 08:18:00 PM
If denver somehow goes back-to-back it will officially be the beginning of a new dynasty in the NBA.
They have already made history last year and they're going on with their center of course, Jokic.

They've made a new meta in the NBA that it shouldn't be coming anymore from a point guard, forward but it all goes with a center that's very flexible and all around.

A better view of his teammates when he's got the ball, and can go almost everything and dependable.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 14, 2024, 11:54:47 PM
I agree with OG here about Bronny, I don't know if the media is all over him because he's so good. But I guess that the blood and relation to Lebron of course is doing its job in there.

There are better prospects that him and I think that the draft will be lesser this time, IIRC. Some teams are rumored to skip this and looking forward for better class on 2025.
105  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My decision on bitcoin on: May 14, 2024, 11:28:16 PM
"just do it" these are the words that I really like about your topic, however, people who don't start investing straight away will only keep dreaming to buy bitcoin and won't have certainty about the future
You don't say that to those that are all talk. They will say that they're investing on it but you'd see them do nothing until they again will complain that the market had recovered and pumped again.

You're too brutal on them in the latter.

That's the reality that they don't want to start investing because they think that the market will adjust for them and they are not the ones who's going to adjust.
106  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't assume your life by material things so much on: May 14, 2024, 10:59:18 PM
Let's talk about reality instead of some BS, money is always the king so whoever says money isn't that important are either wealthy who is hoarding too much money they can't spent in their entire life or people who are incompetent in making money and trying to cover their ass with such BS quotes.
They should sink in to the reality that everyone needs money. I agree with that because if you don't have money as you grow older, you'd like a piece of trash because you can't do anything without it.

So i have discovered that If i focus on my mind and spirit the material things always come to me even If Im not focused on them too much.
We live only in very short time here and no point to limit ourselfes with just limited thinking about world.
I understand you if this is where you're focusing right now. If you're happy but you've got some ways to provide things for yourself or for your family, that's good.

No one is going to bother you whatever you do and what makes you happy.
107  Other / Off-topic / Re: Income programming on: May 14, 2024, 10:36:58 PM
What can you program to earn a lot of money? I'm 19, can do Java with OOP but don't want to make websites (I don't like that)
Maybe something along the lines of Solidity?
I have done java in the past but didn't develop my skills there and the same goes with other PLs like C# and C++.

So if you're trying to get along with solidity, I did searched it for you and it should be python, c++ and javascript. I don't know, wait for someone who actually programs and is in the industry who's got more experience on this one.
108  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can i bet 5-10k on a single bet anywhere? on: May 14, 2024, 04:35:17 PM
Hello guys, im browsing the gambling section on the forums, i bet on soccer from time to time, 1x2, whenever i try to bet more then 200-300$ on a single bet they limit me, so im wondering, if there is a safe platform that i can bet 1-2-5k$ per bet on soccer, that will pay me out in the end Cheesy

If someone helps me find it, ill tip him $50 Smiley
Many platforms here that you can use with that amount but you'd be expecting to comply with KYC. Here are what I known you can use;

- sportsbet.io
- stake
- duelbits

Anyway, they're the common and more of them and you don't have to tip $50 me though.  Tongue
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you start investing in bitcoin because of some celebrity ? on: May 14, 2024, 12:55:16 PM
Celebrities, influencers, athletes, politicians and other prominent people won't dictate what I should do when it's about investing.

They can give the idea but it's not going to be as easy as it can be because it is not their money that I will put in risk but mine.

Some of them don't take these things related to Bitcoin seriously so, how can we trust them?
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Personal Financial Goals vs Government expectations! on: May 14, 2024, 11:53:47 AM
That is true, the middle class are the ones that contributes the most to the economy. While we're not ignoring what the rich people does, generating jobs and giving employment to the other people.

But they have ways to minimize their taxes. Whilst for the average and middle class people, they have no means to do that.

And what they do is work work work until they get tired and exhausted realizing how much they have contributed to the total economy of our countries.
These two things will certainly help each other, for those who have a lot of wealth they still need middle class people to do what they can't do and for the middle class they can get jobs that give them income.
Yes, most that are in the workforce are middle class and that's why they're important to a country's economy.

I agree with you, there are indeed some rich people who avoid taxes, but this is absolutely impossible for the middle class and in this case it will certainly make the rich get richer and the poor can only get an income that can meet their needs.
Well, the middle class don't have a way out there but with the wealthy people, they know the ins and outs about taxation and that's why they became rich.

They're doing it legally and we don't know about those that does illegally.
111  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to grasp the opportunity as Japan ended its negative rate policy? on: May 14, 2024, 10:33:33 AM
Japan's YEN is truly down right now. So, those that are optimistic that they'd recover soon, you can buy their currency whichever platform you are confident with.

But another thing with this is to take advantage of their currency's weakness through visiting them.

Yeah, travel to Japan as your currency will have a better exchange on their YEN.

JUST IN: Donovan Mitchell is out for game 4.
Celtics on -10.5 then.
Yeah.

This is going to be easy Celtics and even with that -10.5. There is no leading scorer for the Cavs, that's sad but that really happens. End of the first quarter as of typing this.

37- Celtics
30- Cavs

For the Money line Boston manage to outrun the Cavs but with that handicap sorry for those who place bets for that as the game ended Boston only win by 7 points, without Mitchell, Garland step up and keep that distance not too far though they unable to snatch the game and protect the homecourt but they did not allow Boston to win in a blowout way.

3-1 now and the game will be back to Boston, a big chance that they will finish this series at home, unless Cavs will make a huge adjustments and manage to counter whatever Boston will bring on their upcoming game 5.
With this loss of Cavs, they have no other option but to win all of the remaining games until game 7. That's highly unlikely and how many teams did abled to win that straight until the end of the series? I don't know.

Game 5 is likely the finisher of this series and it's going to be Boston Celtics that's going first to the conf. finals.

114  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is all wealth? on: May 13, 2024, 10:31:36 PM
I beg to disagree.

Having no money wont make you happy so that means that having money can make you happy.

If you have nothing to eat because you have no money, that won't make you happy and together with your family, it doesnt make sense if people still believe that quote.
There is no need for anyone to underrate or talk down on money. Money is so powerful than we see it. People that do not understand the value of money are the set of people that do not know any other function of money apart from its purchasing power. Money brings happiness, it does this by providing all the comfortable things for you and bringing happy people closer to you. Imagine how happy you will be that you work into a boutique and do not care the amount of clothes they sell there, you buy as much as you can and pay. I remember when I never had some money with me, I will just be unnecessarily hungry. But when the money is there, I could possibly go several hours without getting hungry because I know that I can afford any food I want to eat. This is how the real life scenario plays out. When you have money you will stop wishing many things and things will become reality and you can say you are a wealthy man. Money brings happiness and good health.
That's true.

They've been delved into "money can't buy happiness". We're in the modern world that having no money will cause you stress. That's the reality of life and that's why if you tell that to the less fortunate, they'd be mad at you.

And there's the meme challenge to those that are believing into that saying, "if you're not happy with your money, send it to me".  Grin
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 13, 2024, 09:57:42 PM
Both 2-1 for the upcoming games later.

BOS 2-1 CAVS

MAVS 2-1 OKC

Well, will the both series are going to end up with a 3-1 or we're going to see another tie as well for 2-2?

Interesting, this conference semis is taking longer but not boring at all.

JUST IN: Donovan Mitchell is out for game 4.

117  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of work deserves your attention? Why? on: May 13, 2024, 08:49:50 PM
The development of artificial intelligence, virtual technology and ChatGPT will surely replace most jobs in the near future. Which positions do you think have development prospects in this environment?
The education sector.

It is what the attention needed to be focused on because, it is about the next generation. Many of them are going to be lazy answering homeworks and activities.

Why?

Because they'll just ask it to be answered by the chatgpt or any AI tool. But I hope that learning will be reinvented in a manner that it has adopted the modern technology but not sacrificing too much from the traditional setup.
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading psychology and TA on: May 13, 2024, 08:16:26 PM
In trading, having the right knowledge and refining it. Will ensure your profitability, in essence build your skill set so that you wouldn't blame your losses based on psychology as other traders.
Having right knowledge isn't enough.

There's more to it when you've discovered how the actual trading goes to work. You have the basic knowledge and refining it still won't be enough to be honest.

You need to be better in most of your decisions and actions because of how quick this market goes, you might miss a lot of money or get to lose a lot in split seconds because of poor decision making.

You can be good in TA, FA, etc but when you're slow as a turtle in executing it, it doesn't make sense.
But I think that having the right knowledge will increase your confidence, which means that you can now decide more quicker but maybe you are still right that it is not enough because we might also need a luck as the market can still moves randomly sometimes.

Now if we don't have it, this is where we can lose quickly but as long as we are minimizing our volumes, we still have something left and we can use them to possibly recover and back on the profiting side again. Other than luck, we also need to be good at controlling our emotions because I think that having a good knowledge is separated to it, or having a good knowledge can also make us over-confident and greedy.
I am not saying that it is not going to increase your confidence but I'd say that it is not enough. It's good to have the right knowledge but it's about the final decision with your trades.

That's why it is what traders have to think of when they have the background already. It's not about how quick you are to decide but it is about on how good you are in making decisions.
119  Other / Off-topic / Re: From a coward to a willingness(Myself)@ on: May 13, 2024, 07:46:54 PM
Welcome back.

It's not cowardice when you can't go back. Maybe you have other important things to do during that time and that's why all you need to do is to take time before you come back.

But now that you are here, enjoy your coming back.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 13, 2024, 11:03:17 AM
With only the PGL Wallachia matches scheduled for today, here's my parlay (@2.62) for the next two series. Playing it safe with Team Liquid ML, they should beat the weakest EU team in this tournament within two maps, but you never know with Team Liquid's experimental drafts. Then the value pick on Team Secret because VP isn't performing any better and their odds might've been inflated after that 2-0 sweep against Heroic.

Good luck. Team Liquid already took the first map.

The 2nd map is in and it seems that this is a close fight as I am watching it right now. Both teams are in danger of getting eliminated for this group stages and rounds.

That's why they badly need to fight for it as they have no choice if they want to continue.
