101  Economy / Economics / Re: Earnings without risks for beginners on: March 22, 2018, 01:12:11 PM
Bitcoin is also the equivalent of money. Is it easy for you to make money now? I don't trust anyone who offers an easy way to make money. This is either a Scam or an attempt at your expense to earn. Newbies in bitcoins do not understand this, so most often become victims of scams. My advice is never to participate in a project if you are offered easy money.
102  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is so unfair on: March 22, 2018, 01:07:43 PM
Isn't it so unfair for the people who is new here? That will be struggling making such as good quality post so they could be given a merit by someone. I know all of you is having a hard time thinking what are you going to post such as good quality.

It is really hard to have a merit it is because as far as I know:
People are selfish. Even though you post a really good quality post still there is a people who won't give you a merit.
Some are alone. Like me, I don't really have much friend who would give me a free merit. I know that it is easy to have a merit with a friend that have an account of bitcointalk.

My question is. Why still need merit? We are still struggling to rank because of the merit.

I really agree with you, I often see posts that are not qualified even very simple and even not useful for others but given a merit. I think this must be a merit trade or a merit exchange between friends. this is what makes the forum become like a comedy forum. this is the same as playing the people who seriously discuss in this forum. I would like to ask for the moderator to pay more attention to the cheating that happened in this forum
Forum moderators are tired of fighting spam. The merit system makes sense, but I agree with you that this experiment has failed. It is always difficult for people to admit their mistakes. Therefore, I think that the merit system will be abolished in the future. Forum moderators need time to understand it and perhaps come up with another tool to fight spam.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Etherium? on: March 21, 2018, 12:59:27 PM
For long-term investments, I recommend you to use bitcoin. This coin has a limited amount and is therefore protected from inflation. Eth has no such restrictions and therefore in the future these coins will be subject to inflation. Now we do not see this because the popularity of cryptocurrencies is growing. But with long-term storage of eth it can become a problem.
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: Do you believe the MtGox trustee is saying the truth? on: March 21, 2018, 12:43:48 PM
Hasn't it already been determined that he sold in such a way that wouldn't affect the market price? He's said just that in his statement. It's implied that they sold OTC as there was a mention of ensuring the security of the transactions. If that were true, then it doesn't really matter when they were sold.

Heck, even if he did sell at those dates through a regular exchange, what of it? We always say that Bitcoin is for controlling your own money, having uncensorable transactions with no intervention, etc. so shouldn't he be free to do whatever he pleases? The entire issue is way overblown in my opinion.
He can do that. Even if we assume that such actions may have an impact on the price of bitcoin is his right. I am sure that the market will recover even after more coins have been sold. I'm sure the whales took advantage of the situation and sold a lot of their coins to lower the price. Then they buy cheap coins and the market began to recover. In this situation, the lost money is only the alarmists and the lenders of the exchange. I can only accuse this Manager of unprofessionalism.
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: $9,500 remains the major resistance for further gains. on: March 21, 2018, 12:35:04 PM
I don't think there's any resistance. It all depends on the number of bitcoins that sell whales. Now they seem determined to warm up the market. They stopped the sale of a large number of coins and will now enjoy constant growth. It will not be fast because users do not have a large amount of money in order to quickly create a shortage of coins. But the fact that growth will be stable is for sure.
106  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Bitcoin post no risk to the world's Financial instability" on: March 21, 2018, 12:24:55 PM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency can now have a flesh  air as the G20 said "Bitcoin does not post risk to the world financial instability" I think the heads of central bank has started to see the potential in cryptocurrency and we actually need they adoption to see bitcoin realize it potential and go mainstream.  https://www.coinspeaker.com/2018/03/19/cryptocurrencies-dont-pose-risks-financial-stability-says-g20-watchdog-mark-carney/ . To just buy bitcoin now the hungry me because I know the future is very bright.

Times without number we have been holding this view about bitcoin not posing any threat to financial instability as at today. Every entity making such claims only want to cause some rumble in the polity and looking for reason to lunch an attach on bitcoin for reasons best known to them. For an item to make any difference, it means it must be large enough to cause distortion which I am yet to see considering the decrease in the market price of coins generally at this time. And that is why a lot of company with huge transaction volume are not adopting crypto currency because they are practically not losing anything in their revenue base either in terms of customers or to competitors.
Never underestimate your opponent. I think it's a banker mistake. But I'm glad he is. They will give us extra time to prepare for the bankers to start a war against bitcoin when they feel threatened. The movement of bitcoin always comes from the bottom. I think that the first to start accepting for payment bitcoin small online stores for which each buyer has value.
107  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the best/safe ways to buy bitcoins? on: March 20, 2018, 11:08:14 AM
There are many ways to buy bitcoins. But the safest and most convenient way is to buy bitcoin on the cryptocurrency exchange. You will still have to register there because periodically every cryptocurrency owner has to change bitcoin to Fiat and back. Buy bitcoins at the ATM very expensive to buy bitcoin online exchange, is dangerous.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: Money laundering tools on: March 20, 2018, 11:03:13 AM
Nobody argues with the fact that Bitcoin can be used as a tool for money laundering. However, it`s capabilities are not limited to this. Anonymity and ease of transactions were created to make people feel more confident when dealing with their finances. Bitcoin also allows you to untie money from the state and gives people the opportunity to dispose of their funds and savings. The fact that Bitcoin is sometimes used "for evil" is not Bitcoin's problem, but the fault of those in whose hands it turns into a money launderer.
All agree that bitcoin is used for money laundering but no one ever showed the documents to prove it. Society is forced to believe that cryptocurrencies are created to make it easier to Finance criminal activities. And the worst part is, people agree. Remember that there is a judgment. Let the bankers prove it in the courts. We have to wait for the evidence.
109  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-20] Russian Government Resolves Disagreement on Draft Crypto Law on: March 20, 2018, 10:38:56 AM
It seems to me that all statements on consensus will remain at the level of conversations. There will be no action in this direction. I heard that the closest satellite in Russia is Belarus. There have long been allegations that Lukashenko creates favorable conditions for the users of cryptocurrencies. Perhaps the Russians will see what will come of this experiment. But so far I haven't heard any news from Belarus.
110  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-20]Ukraine to Compensate a Citizen in Bitcoin – for ”Moral Damages” on: March 20, 2018, 10:31:56 AM
It seems to me that there will be no precedent. In Ukraine there are no fair courts so the decision will be very controversial. Any decision of the court of first instance may be set aside by the court of appeal. Also in Ukraine it is very difficult to get a large sum for moral damage. It seems to me that this is a PR in order to draw attention to the problem of the use of cryptocurrencies in Ukraine.
111  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-19] G20 Watchdog Says Cryptos Not a Risk, Resists Calls for New Rules on: March 19, 2018, 01:01:37 PM
It seems to me that no changes will be accepted. It is impossible to make a common decision when many countries gather with a different approach to the problem of cryptocurrencies. China is an ardent opponent of cryptocurrencies (I just do not understand their motivation). Japan, on the contrary, is an ardent supporter of cryptocurrencies. How can these diametrically opposed views find common ground? Each country will continue to make its decisions.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: is there any economic effect for the country or bitcoin users on: March 19, 2018, 12:49:54 PM
Many times bitcoin is banned by some countries, it does have an effect like bitcoin value down and so on, but it does not last long, or it may just be an issue in the end they can not block the bitcoin to continue popular
You're wrong. The life of the elite in any country is very different from that of ordinary people. They can pursue their goals and use any means to do so. Because they're the law. People will be limited in everything. The poorer people the easier and cheaper to manage. In rich countries, no one will sell their votes for $ 100. In poor countries, you can buy votes for $ 20-50 and thus stay in power forever.
113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's bottum price? on: March 19, 2018, 12:43:17 PM
As of now maybe no bro 'cause it seems the news about g20 is not about to dump the price in the market therefore g20 has no intention to dump the price of bitcoin.  Those dump we experience lately is just a panic selling from the holders. More information about g20 here so perhaps the price now will continue to pump.
Such a statement is a good position, but bankers may not take such a position. They can continue to tighten the rules of access to Fiat for all cryptocurrency users. This can be done by all banks individually. It seems to me that the best way to protect yourself is to build a community in which you can use bitcoin without having to change it to Fiat.
114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hitting $91,000 By March 2020 - Tom Lee, Fundstrat Global Advisors on: March 19, 2018, 12:36:51 PM
2020 is still very far away. I think I need to live on a more realistic scale. Long-term forecasts are more like fiction. Who could predict a drop in the price of bitcoin to 6000 dollars this year? For this reason, I am more interested in today's bitcoin price. Even if we know that bitcoin will cost $ 1,000,000 in 2020, we will not be able to save all the coins until that time.

116  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: March 12, 2018, 04:03:20 PM
I'm not afraid of KYC but I don't like it. These are the first attempts to regulate cryptocurrencies. For me it does not matter the reason for these requirements. The fact of such requirements suggests that is not respected the first rule of cryptocurrency is privacy. Then there will be a requirement to provide information in order to verify the correctness of the payment of taxes. And after that, the cryptocurrency turns into Fiat.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the USDT ? on: March 10, 2018, 02:46:40 PM
Usdt is a constant cryptocurrency in dollars, and the main network used is BTC's main network. But there have been questions about whether the usdt and dollar reserves are 1:1.

How can we guarantee that the amount of USDT will match the amount of USD? Probably even Americans don't know how many dollars they let out in turnover. I don't trust such projects. These tokens want to gain popularity through the use of the name of a popular currency. For me, this is the first sign that the founders have no interesting ideas.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to Crash further till 1000$? on: March 10, 2018, 02:29:49 PM
The whole history of bitcoin consists of UPS and downs. I'm actually glad we survived the fall. After such a fall, there is always a rise. Every day brings us closer to new heights. We should always have most of the work. It helps us through the rough times. This is exactly the time. But we will come out of it rich.
119  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-09] Russians Think Bitcoin Makes a Great Present on: March 10, 2018, 02:21:11 PM
If the survey data is correct, this indicates a great interest in crypto currency in Russia. It will be difficult for the State Duma to adopt a bill on the introduction of criminal liability for the use of crypto currency as a means of payment.
Lol. That in this difficult? I am confident that nothing will happen if the government so decides. Russian people are silent. There are many more radical solutions which limit the rights of Russian and they silently take it. In the USSR, there has always been a ban on the storage and use of us dollars. Sometimes for trade dollars even shot. But it didn't stop people. It will also be with cryptocurrencies.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have many altcoins or it is enough to have few? on: March 10, 2018, 02:09:43 PM
This branch should be moved to the altcoins section. As for tactics the acquisition of coins that each person has their own thoughts. I prefer to buy no more than three altcoins. The main savings I keep in bitcoins. I think that this coin has always been and will be the most popular and protected from collapse in the future.
