1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ALGORY - Multifunctional Tools For Cryptocurrency Traders on: November 26, 2017, 09:35:24 AM
I think it may be not a big problem for the team to implement a pay per use and subscription system for the tools available. Its clear different people have different needs

Well it should be not too hard to implement a subscribe model where you can subscribe to different packages, for example 4 tools or 8 tools or all tools. Interesting would be if you could also choose which tooles you want to use, but not sure how hard this would be to realize.

have the dev's mentioned anything about this? do token holders get special offers?
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ALGORY - Multifunctional Tools For Cryptocurrency Traders on: November 25, 2017, 05:44:30 PM
Ideal tools for traders. The most important is how they will work. Tools should be easy to use.

I don't think they will be that easy. It would require some time to really get used to them. Maybe they put some tutorials to make it easier.

I don't think we'll need to own a master in computer science to play with this software, come on it's about filters, alerts and read charts and news

They already said they will try to do it as user-friendly as possible. This whole project wouldn't make sense when you already have to be an expert in trading to use it.

hopefully we'll get good tutorials as well for this. regardless of how user-friendly it gets, the information will get overwhelming.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] VLB - The Ultimate Blockchain Fuel for the Vehicle Lifecycle Industry on: November 25, 2017, 05:43:37 PM
Just speculating in here but, If you think this project will be rolled out mybe even in one country where Wolkswagen repair shop are operating can turn into something huge

Note Wolkswagen is a partner already

Is VLB for now limited just to bigger cities in Russia or did they actually expend in LA and Florida like it says in their road map?

We are planning a full operational deployment in the US in June 2018.  In June 2017, we commenced expansion into the US market: found local partner, mapped Los Angeles and South Florida based ecosystems of repair shops, spare parts distributors, insurance providers and auto dealers that a dealers that are required for a successful deployment of CarFix platform.

This is VW distributor in USA? They agree working with your system and tokens as well?

VW and Uber are international companies. Firstly in Russia, but then best practices of collaboration will be applied in other countries.
As soon as possible we are announcing all the partners.

I have not previously read anything about Uber but its mentioned above. Is there some kind of deal with uber or it is mentioned only as a random example?

Uber and Volkswagen are our actual partners. In particular, we are partnering with UBER and provide the special terms for car repair and maintenance on CarFix Platform. CarFix has API integration with UBER drivers' interface.

so how are you going to get uber on the VLB blockchain? is the carfix platform yours? from what I could find carfix is a start-up, 1 year old.
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SophiaTX Announcement - The Blockchain for Business on: November 25, 2017, 03:14:18 PM
I'm thinking that SAP AG  will be very interested on this platform and maybe forge a partneship with SophiaTX. Smiley
it would be great, good partnership at this stage would be very useful for growth of the project.

the question is "Is SAP aware of this integration?". have you guys spoken with them?

Hmmm it seems SAP is working on their own blockchain as a service.
https://www.sap.com/belgie/products/leonardo/blockchain.html

How does SophiaTX differ compared to the service SAP wants to roll out?

I would also like to know that. SAP is a very big company, they have huge client base. How will SophiaTX compete with that?

It is a very big company so it definitely has resources to monitor the market and there was also an article on SAP Africa website so we are sure they know about us. But we haven't spoken to them officially about anything. We do not compete with them directly since as we mentioned in our Whitepaper:
"The SAP company has introduced a very compelling offering under its SAP Leonardo innovation effort. SAP’s blockchain approach of BaaS20 (Blockchain-as-a-Service) is suitable for large and midsize organizations seeking a rather private and consortium-based setup. Having said that, opening it to wider public participants may prove to be challenging and less trusted by typical blockchain advocates. In our view BaaS is coming short of being truly inclusive of all participants across value chains, does not provide sufficient transparency, and has a tendency to be relatively more expensive."

Thanks for reply!
So if I understood correctly, SophiaTX will provide services for wide range of rather small customers making it easy to access?
There are more differences to Leonardo. First of all - SAP is maybe the most widespread enterprise software but it is definitely not the only one. We are currently focusing mostly on SAP but SophiaTX will also be a platform for Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and many more. Secondly - we are focusing on businesses of all sizes - not just big one but also not just on smaller one. We are also not focusing only on one industry. We want to create a holistic collaboration across industries and value chains.

If this is the case, then SophiaTX will one day become the holy grail  of enterprise computing. Enabling multi platform integration of enterprise software via blockchain is one of a kind crypto project that I think has never been done before. Smiley

It remains to be seen how they will manage the project. If they make it then it's gonna be huge.

there will always be a learning curve for newbies. don't thinks the tools will be easy to use at first. it's gonna require time investment. good tools for finances will always be complicated.

target cap- this is soft cap or no? I seen, that they have 25k ETH soft cap. But now, i dont see any info about soft cap. Only target and max cap...

They changed the cap. Stephane Ifrah explained it on the 17th.

Dear all,

Just a quick message to tell you that KYC process is ongoing and running smoothly by now. We will communicate shortly on payment processes that should start early next week. We will make the last update of our Whitepaper prior to that to fix all the parameters.

After numerous discussions on our various caps (min, hidden, max) with our community, it appeared that it was too complex for the coming mass marketing that will start on 4th December. Therefore we have decided the following simplifications :

1. For transparency reasons, we are revealing our hidden cap which is 60k ETH and setting our max cap at this level, removing the hidden cap mechanism
2. We are also removing the min cap of 25k ETH which was not really readable vs the 40k ETH target cap.

The 40k target cap does not seem to be the same as min cap though.

I don't get why there is even such a thing as a hidden cap. what's the point of this?

There are lots of owners who does that actually, sell and buy a new one after some time. I think VLB will be a good market to be implemented on the blockchain.

More reward for maintaining your cars, means better cars and better costumers, so everyone is happy. I still doubt if coins are necessary, but blockchain is a good idea.

It also provides accountability for car owners. too many lie in the ads and dial back the km dials to sell at a higher price.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ALGORY - Multifunctional Tools For Cryptocurrency Traders on: November 25, 2017, 07:20:36 AM
I'm surprised none of the exchanges integrated such tools. They're limited to some chart options and that's it basically. Very limited compared to the tools given by non-crypto brokers.

Why would an exchange be interested to give everyone this? At least not for free for sure.
That's why projects like Algory are needed, to compansate the limited possibilities on the exchanges.

this is the market at work. where there is demand , supply is sure to follow
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ALGORY - Multifunctional Tools For Cryptocurrency Traders on: November 24, 2017, 06:31:38 PM
Is there any interview video about this project?
And will you attend any blockchain event?

Was wondering the same thing, will there be an AMA?

Maybe ask to @dr10 in ARK slack if they can host an AMA there, they always look for new interesting projects, especially about crypto

We will record video next week.

AMA - yeah why not!

Join our community on Telegram: https://t.me/AlgoryProject

Great to hear about the video!
Always nice to see the team behind the project and the project Smiley

Keep it up!

i will waiting for this video, so i know about how this program work

finally a video. proof of product is what you guys need to get this of the ground.
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] VLB - The Ultimate Blockchain Fuel for the Vehicle Lifecycle Industry on: November 24, 2017, 06:29:56 PM
What will happens if you sell no tokens during pre-sale? You're a little bit unlucky lol, ETH is bullish as hell during your short time pre-sale. Maybe if min was less then 100 ETH

Indeed! Now that ETH is taking off not much people will invest.
Really hope the crowdsale will be a great succes. Keep it up guys

the min 100ETH is just for the pre-sale. once the ICO is underway things will go back to normal. ETH being bullish is another question. maybe it will stabilize.

"Blockchain allows the parties to transact in real time while acknowledging trust and transparency," said Jaroslav Kacina, CEO of Equidato Technologies AG. Read more in the article by BanklessTimes.

thanks for sharing. it's good that you guys get around in the media.

yes the Airdrop is super for VLB Project, and i belive also this project seems really successful at more and more.

Airdrop is never a good idea at the time when you are running for the ICO. It will create a huge disruption.

It depends on the size of the airdrop. Done correctly it can be a great promotion which compensate people selling their tokens.

it would provide a dump on the market for the tokens, driving the price down and eventually creating a perceived lower value of the token.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ALGORY - Multifunctional Tools For Cryptocurrency Traders on: November 24, 2017, 01:40:29 PM
Algory is on icobech, didn't see it before when i checked.

https://icobench.com/ico/algory-project

They have a very respectable rating. 4.3

4.3 is a very high rating with such a large and strong competition. However, I am not surprised .. The project is prepared really very well!

This website should never be take into account. Not professional.

there are a lot of rating websites for ICO's these days. I wouldn't be surprised if some sold their rating. everyone needs to do their own research.

there is trading bots, we need an ICO bot  Cool

I don't think you can program that Wink you can't know which ICO will succeed and which won't
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SophiaTX Announcement - The Blockchain for Business on: November 24, 2017, 09:09:48 AM
One red flag : they shy away from answering technical questions in their telegram, and instead tell users to "look for it in their whitepaper", claiming it is like a treasure hunt. If the team is unable to properly answer questions, there is no way I would trust them with my money.

I wonder what did you ask? Sometimes in telegram people ask the same questions over and over and the devs get tired of it. I hope that did not happen here.

I didn't ask any question, but there was someone else asking and he was simply told to look for it in the whitepaper.

To quote the exact question asked: " so what kind of data will be stored in cloud ? can you elaborate on the data types?" , "Give me a SAP Transaction or program where in ERP can be expected to make a Blockchain CALL" , also there were some SAP specific questions with attached photos, asking if plug-in functions could work.  Definitely not in the whitepaper.

I don't know why all of a sudden this thread has a ton of people jumping to their defense all repeating the same thing "oh maybe its the same question that got asked before". As an investor you should always be skeptical and analyzing a company thoroughly. If something looks like a red flag, you have to keep probing until u get a satisfactory response.

As an investor you should always be skeptical and analyzing a company thoroughly  <---I agree

You are putting your money in it, you are every right to be skeptical also expect all your questions answered.

I am not on their telegram but in here they are trying to answer every question they got so I don't have a problem for now.

even then, you should still be reading the whitepaper carefully before putting money in any project.

Dont agree. Current big names in crypto like Ripple, Decred, NEM, Stellar Lumens all did airdrops when they were not popular yet. VLB should consider it.
As I know there is no airdrop there is just bounty campaign, and airdrop is little bit different with bounty, and yes a couple crypto names that you mentioned now is big crypto because they still develop their project and also VLB project will big because the development.

projects like VLB don't need airdrops, they need bounties, which they have. airdrops are to get people to use your currency, but for projects like this, it costs too much money to airdrop.

This blog is a must read https://medium.com/algory-project/algory-project-cryptonews-never-be-late-again-e63ebd90cf12

I like how they used examples of (social) media news, like Stellar/IBM and Charlie Lee/Chinese exchanges, to demonstrate the importance of being up to date with trading tools.

Stellar is good and all but it's too complicated for newbie non programmer. I mean their tools are beyond basic

How do you know? Did you test it? Is there a beta version available already? Please share link if you have

sadly no demo as of yet. I've asked for it repeatedly, or at least a video of the product working.

In the lower left corner it is clearly stated that it is "Sponsored Article" - the editor writes for money what is ordered by the person who pays for it.

This article has no value!

MuffinMaster - sure.
We also published it here: https://medium.com/algory-project/algory-project-functions-the-first-and-most-powerful-cryptocurrency-scanner-d681c3ce3c45

Companies use marketing to be noticed on the market. Is that bad? I don't think so. Press releases etc it is something that has been used for years. All ICOs use it, we are not different in this matter.

I have nothing against marketing! Even good, that you try to show your project in many different ways.
I just wrote this to other users will realize that this is just an advertisement.

Anyway i make better research about your project and decide to support you in signature campaign Wink

Cheers!

I found the article quite informative and valuable from an insight perspective of their Tools. I dont mind the writer gets paid, hopefully he does a good job at describing the functionality. Its up to me to judge and decide on how to act on behalf of that information...

as long as the sponsorship is disclosed, then I have no problem in articles promoting the project. you can get some information on these.
