Mark can answer for himself on the code question, but just FYI, you could ask the very same question for every piece of code downloaded for every coin out there, including the wallets.  A big part of the reason that interaction with us through these forums is so good.  I personally would not want to be well known if I produced something with bad intentions. It can have all sorts of ways to bite you in the butt down the road of life.........

Well i am very security conscious when it comes to my wallets and so forth being contained in each individual VM with no interaction with one and another.

Unfortunately that cant be done with a piece of software that needs access to your exchange accounts.

Serious question dev how can we trust the code in this application? (Like backdoors and such)

Sorry i am no programmer so cannot verify the code myself.
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EQX] EquinoxManagement - New Reliable Currency [Successful Launch!] on: August 29, 2014, 11:01:05 AM
Hi Dev do we have a IRC channel?
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MANDATORY UPDATE] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: August 29, 2014, 08:32:06 AM
Anyone found out how we can get our free stuff? lol
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storj - Decentralized Storage on: August 29, 2014, 08:28:02 AM
Btw, Dropbox now reduces the price for their pro package. Basically you can have 1TB with only $9.99 per month. Maybe you guys should calculate the effective cost again.

I dont think that u ppl undestand the Storj project ... its not all about the $ is about DECENTRALIZED CLOUD STORAGE

not about the $$$? Tell that to the ICO investors who are all at a loss since day 1. lol
Again, with all due respect, we explicitly stated multiple times before and during the crowdsale that nobody should expect a profit from participating - anybody who thought they would contribute to the sale and then immediately dump for a profit chose the wrong project. The crowdsale was mainly for early access to Metadisk and DriveShare and to help us cover costs. We thank everybody who participated but still.

How is that early access coming along btw?

Dev sounds like a down to earth kinda guy. Hope everything goes to plan. Hodling!
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EQX] EquinoxManagement - New Reliable Currency [Successful Launch!] on: August 29, 2014, 08:19:47 AM
I think the POS is broken that is why. Dev is looking into it.

Now I think about it, wouldnt it better to get a head start on these other coins?

Like the first month it would only be BTCD then allow other coins to join. This will help BTCD have the new feature premium although it would decrease the annon function due to the network being smaller than otherwise with additional coins.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinDark (BTCD)--Sha-256/PoW-PoS hybrid/Bounty Opportunities on: August 29, 2014, 08:11:30 AM
James do you think as different coins decide to use teleport there will be BTCD holders selling down their holdings to get coins in these other coins?

The thinking could be that they would offer higher ROI than holding BTCD in the short term this cause a downward  pressure on the BTCD price.

1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed[Bittrex/Poloniex]GPU Released on: August 28, 2014, 12:55:11 PM
I can't speak for anyone else but I have purchased just over 8k of BBR in the last few hours due to James posting it in his BTCD thread.

I will be hodling the majority of it and a small portion to arb.

Regardless of what you may think of James, there is 2 things that is undeniable.

1. He is a great programmer.
2. He is a great promoter of a coin.
