1001  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Will Go to 7500$ on: December 30, 2017, 02:52:09 PM
I do not know on what basis do you think like that, but I think it's a shame. bitcoin will probably have a higher price compared to the current price. well, the decline in bitcoin prices is not new, but I'm sure in the near future the price will rise again.
The main concern is that everyone is free to state whatever they want to state and no one should really bother about whatever anyone is saying.

We do not know the future but one thing for sure is that there are some things that may not really happen anyway and there is something that could happen that we may think they never can happen but whatever it is, we sure know there is always going to be a good future ahead.
1002  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's that unfair for those who don't have bitcoin in the future ? on: December 30, 2017, 07:58:27 AM
my advice is buy bitcoin while it's cheap and before we hit 1 million in 2 years
Best advise anyone can ever give.
With the way bitcoin is going or the news about bitcoin is spreading daily, with so many people getting the hint from news, anyone should definitely not have the chance to get in.

It is even easier now than few years ago when only the techie ones and those in the finance sector got the hint, but now, everyone have the chance and those who think they cannot afford it, at least there are other cryptocurrencies to purchase and who knows ?
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 0.05 Ether tx fee, is ethereum getting mad? on: December 30, 2017, 05:00:53 AM
Whether you set up too expensive service fee, such poundage is obviously too expensive. Is the gas value unreasonable? Huh

I haven't yet made any transactions through Ethereum so I think it depends on the amount you're about to send? I was planning to send some coins into Etherdelta but it says it will require only 0.002 for gas. Did I miss something else?

i have no idea what i am doing wrong

i want to get rid of this ethereum kryptokittis, and other hackers are breaking this network,

waves is always 0.001 and always fast also between exchanges, much better than this garbage
Waves have always been cheap but we cannot really compare for now since it is still on a low scale usage and Ethereum problem started since the introduction of the cryptokittens on the Ethereum blockchain and I wonder if the devs are really trying to find something to do to scale up.

Nevertheless, that is pretty huge and no matter what, 0.05ETH for a transaction fee, your wallet may be the one to be questioned in this case.
1004  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening to Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2017, 03:27:27 PM
Well 2 things happened today:
1) Coinbase started offering BCH
2) Emil Oldenburg, one of the starters of bitcoin.com sold all his bitcoins and told everyone that the bitcoin has no value as payment system because it's extremely slow and has become unusable. He switched to BCH.

It might recover who knows. But fact of the matter is that this guy is right and bitcoin itself has no future as a payment system. Once people start to see this, it will go to 0. So be careful, my advise would be to spread to some alt coins.
This is a bad news for bitcoin but i believe the price of bitcoin will soon recover, before there was many time bitcoin was dip and everybody thought it will go to 0 but after bitcoin price was increase strong. I think these time we can also buy more Bitcoin when bitcoin price is low. But if you afraid you can also convert to Bitcoin Cash because bitcoin cash was listed on coinbase then the price of bitcoin cash will grow up fast even it can reach to the price of bitcoin now
I would not blame anyone but I really see such move as an attack by most of these BCH guys and I really hope nemesis will catch up with them very soon.

Yeah, things are really not right with the way transactions are going with bitcoin as you have to wait for days before you can even make any transaction and even pay a lot of fee in the process when there are other coins that can do it better and that is not right and I hope things can be done soon.
1005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: December 29, 2017, 02:55:23 PM
What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?
after a big loss I'm sure the beginners will be desperate and do not want to do it again and they will try to find another way, but it is only temporary because after getting important information and begin to understand we will definitely go back to try it again and play it more careful. my example is me. Cheesy
Beginners always rush into trading most times, and sometimes they do not even learn before getting into it.

Like you said, for someone who is really serious about it anyway, they tend to find what they did wrong and how they can do it better, get some strategies and information to do it better, and then hit the road again and it is good you found that platform to help yourself as some people never came back.
1006  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to trade efficiently? on: December 29, 2017, 09:03:45 AM

I am not a pro-trader. But I usually trade altcoins via its USDT pairs. Trading coins on BTC pairs sucks. I usually follow my coins from Twitter. If theres a big event then it will produce a greate output on its USDT pairs.

Try the coin's USDT pair, sometimes even the coin is down on its BTC pair. USDT pair keeps kicking butt.

Ok so you need to encash the altcoin? Just convert the coin into BTC.
You are right and so many times, you can make a lot of money trading USDT pairs than BTC pairs. I recently tried this two, and the rate at which I increased my USDT easily while doing some good analysis, it was not that easy doing it with BTC most especially during some of BTC movements that affects the Alts in this process.

Not like they would not affect as well even with USDT, but you stand a better chance of making good profit even while trading BTC-USDT as well.
1007  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you see the bitcoin economy 10 years from now? on: December 28, 2017, 07:27:06 PM
10 years? Phew, that's far away! It depends on how it does in the next 10 days Grin
That is really far and no one can really say what bitcoin would be like by then, but I am sure so many things would have changed from what we have now, with respect to adoption, transaction speed, and so many other things. Improvement will keep continuing and that would make adoption, usability and experience to even get better, but like you said, even in the next 10 days, no one can even know.

Bitcoin has been growing and I am definite it would keep growing as long as a huge force does not stop it. The community is strongly increasing and even though we have some who may want to get rich quick, they usually do not last before they end up being shaken off.

I do foresee a lot happening in 10 years from now, and I am sure the value would not even be the same based on the level of adoption in years to come as well as the increase in usage.
1008  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies make physical money disappear? on: December 28, 2017, 06:02:59 PM
As we can see the cryptocurrencies are still being established in the knowledge, socialization and full utilization of humanity, could the cryptocurrencies cause the use of physical money to be eliminated, is this possible?
For now, it is not possible. I believe later on, this is something that we should expect anyway.
The blockchain technology is already here to stay and sure, it would take a gradual process before physical money, especially fiats get wiped out, as they will all turn digital, but some of the old generations for now, will have to pass in this case before we see that happening.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I always lose all my tokens and btc on gambling~ on: December 28, 2017, 11:42:26 AM
If you lose everything then maybe just limit what you are spending its easier said than done but try to keep it somewhere separate so you can still have some fun with it.
I wonder how someone can be losing so much and not stop already rather than complaining about it. For someone that cannot set a limit for themselves and understand that it is quite easy to lose what you have gambling it, should probably not even gamble at all. Like you said, it is good to limit the amount you gamble it and classify it as a "donating" fund.

Yes, a gambler must be ready to accept losses and should not complain afterwards. This kind of maturity will not be possible for all the gamblers but I guess professional gamblers will never complain about their negative earning.
1010  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BITCOIN POPS? on: December 28, 2017, 08:12:34 AM
History repeats itself. bubbles have previously popped on different industry/market. for a better answer, I would suggest doing some TA on the previously popped market. Tongue
Well, did we not have the bubble popped already unless you feel we are still in a state of bubble ?

The bubble really was huge in the previous days but I am sure we may have been able to find a bottom already unless it is a fake bottom for now. I would call the previous rally from $10k to 19k a bubble honestly, but we are even lucky and sure shows how strong the community is to have been able to find the correction just to this level.
1011  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin. Now it's all about the buyers on: December 28, 2017, 06:38:05 AM
I doubt the recovery back to $19000 can be that quick! within only 24-48 hours!

and it usually is not that quick either. it takes some time and at least a couple of days of downtime when whales accumulate more, the FUD fades away and panic stops. all this takes time.
for example if you check last time price dropped this much, you can see it took about 3 days to come back up to normal level and the it was followed by about a 7 day accumulation where price didn't move much and then it shoot up to the new ATH.
I doubt that too, I expect us to have some sideways movement within the trading range canal for some days before we start seeing the market trying to break out from this canal.

I would really prefer to wait for a very clear signal to get back in rather than trying to gamble positions and I would not want to fall for some fake breakouts as well, but I guess we just have to keep seeing how the chart fairs for the few days we have before the end of the year.
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another way to earn cryptocurrency on: December 27, 2017, 02:48:57 PM
A very interesting idea. I want to wish good luck to developers and promising new startup. I understand there is already a working model?
Real good luck to them. It is not easy to pull one off and it is a space with a lot of competition and if you cannot do well, you can easily be bounced. All the above, most of these new startups have really made it easy for so many people through bounties to be a part of their project and have some stake, which to me is a very nice area to tap from to earn some good amount of crypto.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: December 27, 2017, 02:02:59 PM
Presently, anything can happened in cryptocurrency world but it will have to take a very long time or it may never happen
Again, if bitcoin transfer fee continued like this, the like of ETH, BCH and even DGB could be an alternative
It would even be hard before we see such a thing happening. Bitcoin will keep improving and we cannot keep seeing the way we transact now with the high transaction fee and long days of getting it confirmed forever as things would gradually change.

If it continues like this though without any improvement which I doubt, then we may expect anything to happen as bitcoin cannot keep living in old glory without improvements and expecting not to be sidelined.
1014  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: December 27, 2017, 04:07:51 AM
Of course it is, but only if is you act as a professional, maximizing the gains and minimizing the loss.
Of course analysis is difficult, because the standard system don't work so well.
But my impression is that a lot of "traders" are actually gamblers, taking decisions without any sense.

i think its still profitable but we need to know how to pick the right price when we want to buy or sell because the situations now is like a trap and if we are not be careful, we can not make profit and from last month to till now it is most profitable than holding bitcoin. We have seen rise of verge and we have seen the rise of cardano and now i am hopping for same for electroneum.
Yes, it is still very profitable and it is always good to know the right coin and the right price to get in rather than trying to get into a moving price already. So many of these coins that have had a huge pump lately will still end up testing back the lower support levels at some point and those would be the perfect period to always buy in.

Nevertheless, it is good not to expect too much or even get greedy knowing that it should take some time, unless you are lucky, to get good profit in the long run.
1015  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose good coin!? on: December 26, 2017, 02:30:27 PM
its a very hard task for all traders to choose which one is better to buy especially for newbies,i can say check some datas behind the coins of your choice ,and if you can read the candlestick of each coin, you can easily choose which coin is good to buy. and one more thing, dont put all your eggs in 1 basket
Not really as hard as it seem honestly. It is just only once in a while, but the news that will tip you are everywhere. It is just left for you to do your own research and find out what are the reasons you should really choose that coin. I believe in this case, we are referring to someone who wants to hold for the long term profit. Hand writings are always over the wall and it is left for you to decode them.
1016  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency as our Fiat on: December 26, 2017, 08:21:57 AM
Honestly, making crypto currency as a fiat is not a bad idea but have this as the sole currency that exist in the country is not yet that possible. I think crytp currencies has a lot more to build and establish before it will happen but if crypto currencies would be another option for us to pay our liabilities and buy some assets, then it will be more possible and easier to accept.
Right, there are still a lot of things we need to solve before we even think of get there and what we will end up seeing for now is just going to be some few usages by the lovers of crypto.

Things cannot remain the same and a lot will change most especially in how we use, pay and interact speedily in the crypto world when it comes to payment which would make it awesome to use, and that may get us closer, but for now, the real fiats, will definitely be something that would be in existence.
1017  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the next big thing? on: December 26, 2017, 07:40:05 AM
Hi,

You actually summarize the questions that every bitcoiners worry about. We don't know how to turn this volatile currency into a money that can be used in everyday life. We hope it will last. We bet on making large profits.

Truth is that we don't have the slightest idea about what will happen. But we are trying, hoping luck will be on our side!
Don’t be panic I am sure that in the future all the volatility of bitcoin will finish and it will be constant. Bitcoin is of course a big thing and that’s why more and more people are investing in bitcoin and in the near future bitcoin will be the mainstream.

Although there are more than 1000 cryptocurrency in the market but bitcoin is the leading currency of the world. So I can say that volatility is not a big problem.
Well, I can say the reason why a lot of people are really investing in bitcoin each and every day now is because of the profit they want to get and that is the reason why we have a lot of huge increase in price in recent days and the dips as well.

Volatility is one of the things that we should expect even later on as bitcoin stabilizes a little bit but that does not mean it will stabilize fully. Over time though, a lot of things would change; usage, the value, the way we all perceive it and so much more and even from now, we can all see the way things are gradually changing already.
1018  Economy / Speculation / Re: 45% drop - this is new territory, never seen before on: December 26, 2017, 06:58:13 AM
Actually it is very normal for this to happen in crypto-currencies trading, I guess the OP might be quite new to the crypto-currencies trading scene, and that is why he felt shocked to see this tremendous price dip in bitcoin, that is one of the reason why bankers and analyst warn a lot of investors to take extreme caution when trading in crypto-currencies due to the huge volatility.
Absolutely normal. That even showed the extent at which so many of these newbies were just busy buying for the wrong reasons and why so many of them allowed whales to get the best of them while they were busy losing and donating the little they have to them.

Lots of times, we have said it already that a lot of people do not even have an idea of the reason they are investing except for the fact that they wanted to just get rich quickly and though bitcoin would be the saving grace and not knowing it takes, knowledge, patience and understanding to get the best of bitcoin.
1019  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has BTC started the upward move? How high will it jump on: December 26, 2017, 06:18:38 AM
It seems that it want to start rising again, but the real problem is that no one knows what is really happening with the price right now, it is so quiet, and it goes up, it will take a few minutes or even hours and it will start going down again, it is pretty unstable at the moment.
That is what usually happens after a huge correction, it is always followed by uncertainty and traders will be waiting for a clear signal to get back in. For now, we may just be seeing traders who are just shorting which are even very risky at the moment.

What we will see now is going to be some swift few percentage increases and decrease for some days until we see a clear winner and a better signal to get back in, but for now, we should still expect the uncertainty and doubt.
1020  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money? on: December 25, 2017, 05:25:39 PM
Yes, some do in small amounts. lots of people deposit portions of their salaries on crypto as they believe in the investment
A lot of people do in small amounts, believing that a time will come when they will get the best of it in the long run. So many low class dudes try to find a way to earn it though and those who are in the middle class, still buy and earn while the top guys are really the ones buying a huge chunk of bitcoin. People still buy with real money but it just depends on each person's capacity.
