241  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Sites List - And Scams - Read Before Betting on: March 02, 2019, 02:51:06 PM
We can actually increase the list a lot, I mean yes the list seems correct but there is very few websites there and these are not the only trustworthy websites or these are not the only scam websites. Hence, maybe if the OP is willing we can increase the number here ?

I see that dude is trying to promote his own website here, trusted websites are clearly trusted ones and very few and the untrusted is just only one website and the one that is "betting is not activated" is his own website, basically telling us to invest into it so we can make a profit while trying to make it look like it is a legit discussion but from the lack of website count and the post history of the OP we can see that this will not be updated and will not be kept upto date if anything happens and just here to promote his own website.
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think the size of the FOMO going to be when it starts? on: March 01, 2019, 04:07:10 PM
The higher the price gets the higher the hype gets which is a bit good but also a bit bad. Now when price is at $4k it is hard to go to $5k, its hard to move higher because the hype is not there yet. When the price moves from $4k to $5k it is a bit easier to move to $6k for example.

However, if we take it even higher, when the price moves from $4k to $10k it is really easy to move from there to $20k because the hype is already there. So, when the hype starts it depends on how high we can get because higher we go higher we will continue. Of course, there is always a top that will stop and start to fall back but until that moment we just need to keep the hype going, mainstream media helps that a lot, if the price doubles it will certainly make news and more people will either join bitcoin or will return to bitcoin when they see it on TV.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrities you probably don't know were(are) aggressive gamblers on: March 01, 2019, 02:48:59 PM
Lets not forget Tobey Maguire, dude was the center of a poker drama and the movie Mollys game is based on his poker life outside of the famous celebrity life, dude loved destroying lives in the poker table. I mean he was literally showed as a horrible person and he never denied it himself so basically dude made a whole another life outside of acting as a poker player who destroyed lives everyday.

He may not be as famous as the people in the picture but he had 3 big Spiderman movies that put him in the spotlight and from the "friendly neighborhood Spiderman" role into "poker demon" is a huge change. We know Michael Jordan was always a bad guy but a great player, we know what type of person charlie sheen is but learning Tobey is a bad person was a shocking experience for me.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 10 Best Bitcoin Gambling websites on: February 25, 2019, 07:33:27 PM
I doubt it would be helpful even for newbies. I mean look at the list, can't a newbie just check here and see which ones are good and which ones are bad much more objectively ? It is obvious which places we love and which places we hate and of course you can test them all out and decide which one you want to go with and you can start with the most loved places like stake or primedice or nitrogen and so forth but after that if you want to dig deeper you can continue to do that.

There have been a ton of places here that showed some potential and had a bit of trending situation but now not here anymore, I mean those places are not bad neither, they just didn't last that much in popularity so they could go check those out. Personally deciding which one you like according to the ranking of bitcointalk would be wiser for a newbie than these "reviews".
245  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: February 25, 2019, 06:57:31 PM
It is highly sad that you think fraud is bitcoin or blockchain problem. Do you think fraud and scammers came to life in 2008? There has been a lot of scams in fiat as well and comparatively speaking there is more fraud going on in the world right now done via fiat than crypto. The only difference in the world of crypto is that you can't take the money back and if the person who scammed you is anon you do not have much to go on with and just face the fact you are not getting the money back however looking at the world that is at least cutting the loss quickly.

Look at amazong, dudes made 24 billion dollars profit in 2018 and requested free money from tax payers to build a new headquarters, a company that PROFITED 24 billion dollars asked for free money from the tax payers, that is alone is bigger fraud than anything you can see in crypto world. We are fine.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: February 25, 2019, 06:05:57 PM
I doubt it would be a permanent thing.

Gold has always been a favorable thing to buy during the economic crashes but also do not forget that as soon as the crash happens and we go into the recovery period there would be people trying to sell their gold to buy low valued stocks to be bottom buyers in that sense. That is why there is really no trust in this gold buying period because the drop will be quick and people will sell their golds to buy stuff for sure. That is why I think it would be wiser to stay in crypto for now because if the markets fall there are not many people who will sell their crypto to buy stocks at the bottom unlike gold.

Price of gold could probably be going up for a while and that is decent but believe me when I say this it is temporary and it will fall back down.
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Plunge to $3,700 Expected, Say Traders on: February 25, 2019, 04:32:30 PM
Well, it semi-happened. Traders were kind of right but honestly its just not a big huge guess, bitcoin was always going up and down, look at the past 2-3 months, bitcoin price hit over 4k multiple times and went down so why would that be a surprise that it hit over 4k again and dropped again, that is what traders want anyway.

If you have a coin that always go up, always go up than there is absolutely no point of "trading" it, you can just buy it and than keep it until you want to cash out and buy something or even pass it on to your kid.

If there is a coin that always go down than nobody would use it. This type of ups and downs is required by traders so at best they can sell when its at top and buy when its at the bottom (sometimes people fail to do that) and it happens all the time to feed the traders, it was highly expected.
248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Samsung Galaxy S10 Crypto Offering A bullish sign? on: February 25, 2019, 04:02:39 PM
Hey there, I was just browsing few posts on facebook and I suddenly saw the post by NEWSBTC regarding the Crypto Offering on Samsung Galaxys S10. I just want to ask your speculation on market sentiments. Will this be a positive outlook for the crypto market? Here is the link ttps://www.newsbtc.com/2019/02/21/underestimate-samsung-galaxy-s10-crypto-millions-exposed-bitcoin.
 What do you think?
Apparently Samsung will have some sort of blockchain device on their phone like a wallet or private key storage type deal.

I mean it is not really highly understood right now but their next line will have something to do with crypto, maybe it would help you save the private keys of your wallet so you never lose your wallet or maybe it is a wallet itself but in the end having it on your phone built in default is not really that big of a deal when there are thousands of apps that does the same thing anyway, people who do not use bitcoin will not care and people who use bitcoin already has apps that they use so it would be silly. It is always better than not having it so don't get me wrong its cool but its just not the big step we are looking for in order to reach the next bull run.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not just gamble with fiat? on: February 25, 2019, 01:27:29 PM
Honestly fiat gambling could be safer than crypto if it is just scamming people, that is the difference between fiat and crypto as well. If you are good person and you do not aim to scam anyone and build a casino than crypto is the way to go, it is much safer and much more provably fair and decent.

A casino with crypto option and no fiat and actually aim to be good at what they do can be the best out there. On the other hand if a casino is scammy and shady than crypto could be their friend and enemy of the gambler because it is easier to scam people that way. So, if it is a good place to bet crypto is by far better but if its a shady place that I am not so sure about gambling fiat is much better. In any case fiat gambling is illegal in my country so I can't send money to any fiat casinos in any legal way whatsoever.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: So I played again recently, i noticed something.. on: February 25, 2019, 12:43:41 PM
Being observant and remembering past experience to avoid one particular incident a kind of things we can apply in gambling but the modern gambling environments are highly ultra faster one which will not allow you to think over anything so that they can keep you always in excited level so that you can gamble and lose and then move away.
Keeping you excited may lead into getting addiction too. Yes, it is very dangerous one other than how houses are enforcing you not to able to apply your "experiences". I do see widely people are emphasizing that experience is not a key in gambling but the actual truth is, it is still a key but you cannot use it to unlock anything out of aggressiveness and rushing. I agree being observant will help in gambling but for that we must need enough time.

Let me think about your perspective's online application : if you are good in observing then you may get chances to guess the seeds and then you may bet accordingly. It is not easier as it sounds but I heard someone guessed (probably might have hacked) some house's seed generation sequences and made 2000+ bitcoins.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: February 25, 2019, 11:51:20 AM
Gambling is a cool job because it could change your life anytime, provided you are lucky, however if a gambler
is not that realistic on knowing the risk, that will result to addiction and this addiction is hard to cure, it will get into your system
and will surely gonna ruin everything you have, money friends, and family.
This. This is the core reason why people are getting addicted to gambling. If you gamble like you watch a movie, you will never get addicted but if you adopt gambling as your career then you will definitely end up with gambling addictions. Gambling is never a job nor a money making way. It is a way to spend money and to gain some entertainment to pass our time in more relaxing way. Gambling is for our mind and for bursting the stress. If you think gambling as a money resources then it will trigger the addiction instantly also.

People who are all taking gambling serious for any reason might get addicted. These are few obvious reasons which make people to consider gambling as a serious one : chasing losses, willing to repeat profit moments or taking revenge for losses or getting so excited on enjoying profits. In short, all are moments of emotional failures which will definitely lead to addictions.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: February 25, 2019, 09:23:14 AM
Minimizing loses is based on our attitude, the rule in gambling that we should follow is to gamble what you can afford to lose, and that is regardless of your purpose in gambling, hence you need to strictly implement that if you don't want to suffer the sad consequences.
Yes, we may have strategies or plans (or call it with the names whatever you prefer) but all of them are just to focus the losses to be avoided or minimized and to maximize the rounds as much as possible. In between time, if our luck favors us then we may win something. Gambling is full of strategies but that should be for making profits but to extend our long run. Luck is also having big part but we are well aware of how luck works hence we should not expect it all the times.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Disadvantages of Gambling on: February 25, 2019, 07:50:34 AM
The major disadvantage of gambling is loses.  The odd is always against the gambler and it is very difficult to win in gambling.  You should expect to lose most of your investments if you have decided to go into gambling.
What you mean by loss in gambling ? Gambling is not an investment opportunity then why you are bothering about losses as a disadvantage of gambling ? I mean loss is the term of investments related things and definitely not being covered by entertainment industry. Gambling must be an entertainment industry and you must pay some fee to get entertained yourself.

Whenever we are finding ourselves stressful, we must need to relax ourselves and for this reason alone we are having an industry in the name of gambling and definitely not to find any easy nor quick money making opportunities. Still you must understand that there are possibilities you can make money from gambling but it is just a bonus for another round of gambling and definitely not to take home.

Now, please explain me loss is the disadvantage of gambling or is it just part of gambling ?
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Margingale Work? on: February 25, 2019, 06:32:56 AM
in short that means it's impossible to win using martingale since no one has unlimited bankroll.
Clearly gambling sites has bigger bankroll compared to gamblers and they are in control of the rules of the game, so they will make sure the favor is on them.
Are gambling houses using martingale while we are gambling against them ? I do not think so. I believe they do not need any strategy but a defensive mechanism is enough. It means they do not need an unlimited nor a big bankroll to beat us. In short, they are not not at all playing but they are accommodating us to gamble within them.

Practically houses are having big bankroll than any gambler at any given time then it will be possible to win using martingale after having a big bankroll than the house ? I mean some sites are opening showing their bankroll stats then if we deposit bigger money than that, it will be possible to beat the house ? I guess at that time, martingale will produce 1000+ continuous losing streak also Roll Eyes.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non-blockchain cryptocurrencies on: February 24, 2019, 08:37:11 PM
Hey guys, anyone invested or just used cryptocurrencies based on a NON-blockchain consensus?
When was this kind of consensus invented, because the last I checked, all coins as far it's crypto is built on a blockchain, even tokens are built of blockchains that accept dapps so I don't really know what you mean by non-blockchain coins. It will be good if you can give us an example of this cryptocurrencies you are talking about because I am lost already in this regard.
256  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun - PROVABLY FAIR Blackjack Accepts Dash/Bitcoin/Litecoin on: February 24, 2019, 06:41:37 PM
Auch, something got broken in worst possible time.

Site up and running.
I will investigate what happened.

I am really sorry about it.

Good to know it wasnt just me who was having the issue starting yesterday because someone said they were able to access the site but an when I checked an couple of hours later I still had the same issue up until I tried again today.
Thanks for the update and wish the site is back and running up to normal again.
It is the best blackjack experience I have encountered so far and really enjoy using it.
Yeah, I missed the issue as well, to me it is not working right now, its just blank when I try to go to the website.

Honestly, this place is getting bigger and bigger so more maintenance and upgrading will be done in the future as well I bet. It is just obvious that they are not going anywhere and going to be a big player in crypto casino world. They are just taking it so seriously and signature campaigns and constant improvements are just one way of showing that. They do not have to say "we are taking this seriously" because their actions actually show that. That is why I love this play and gambling here, they do things subtle and still manage to make a big impact on the gamblers.

I just wish one more thing, I still would love to see an easy refill for the fun part, playing with coins can get too losing for a while and instead of keep losing more or stopping I would prefer betting with fun more frequently.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: February 24, 2019, 06:15:23 AM
I'm trying to find the strategy to bet less, lose less and win more -  well if these is one out there.
Like you, almost 99% of gamblers are also into similar search for years and I am afraid none of them are successful to have a strategy which enables them to lose less and win more but some gamblers are able to do betting more and winning accordingly. That would be based on few gambling types like poker or sportsbetting. Choose, your games wisely which may help you to achieve what you want.

If you already quit gambling how did you overcome the sense and impulse to gamble again?
No one will be able to overcome that thirst to gamble and this is the reason people are quitting gambling multiple times within a month itself Grin.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling that stressed me out (i wanna quit) on: February 23, 2019, 10:23:15 AM
if you keep on losing then surely you will be stressed and it does not matter if you play casino or dice. As long as you are wining , you are good to go.
No one will complain until they remain successful. But, gambling is known for changing our positions upside-down within the blink of our eye. I bet no gambler will be able to avoid stress as they cannot be winning all the times. Even they are able to see winning and losing moments in cycle, they will turn stressed as they want to minimize the occurrences of losses.

What would be the exact solution then ?
It might be possible if gamble with light heart and no goal set. Gamble with limit and no break down of emotions. When we gamble like a robot with preset characteristics then we may get opportunities to skip those stressful gambling experiences.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: INFOGRAPHIC: Online Slot Gaming Tips from Veteran Players on: February 22, 2019, 02:42:30 PM
These are legit good tips. They are obviously just for people who are new to game because some of them are fairly newbie friendly but they are all correct. Playing on a known website is one of the most important tips because a bad casino can always scam you or even not pay you even if you win whereas a known and established casino wouldn't worry about those things since they already make a decent profit.

97% or above is really good tip too, I mean you can change that only a bit as well, I think if 97% is good enough 95% is not bad neither, its still decent too so make it up for yourself but nobody should play at a place with anything under like 90% or so.

Variance is a bit like odds in dice, play on 90% win chance and you will get low return, play on 50% and you get what you play for and play on 10% win and you get 10 times what you play for, basically depends on what type of reward you are looking for and how lucky you feel.

Lastly bonuses are not something you should depend on but if you can get it, its always better to aim at it, its not a must but its definitely a good to have.
