1001  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | WORLDWIDE live dealer casino on: June 25, 2016, 02:06:06 AM
why do I get "Event not found or no active markets available" so often. Even when the games r going on perfectly fine? This happens at least 5-6 times a day. I joined cloudbet coz the odds were pretty decent but whats the use of that when I cannot even bet on them. The other half of the time when i do get a chance to bet on something, I get an error and says contact support. I dont see a point of that on live betting especially when u dont have a live chat support for sports betting. Thoroughly disappointed.

Hi philiveyjr,

Thanks for your feedback.

In cases when you see no active markets available whilst trying to place Live In-play bets, this is due to stoppages within a MLB game. For example, a break when a home run is scored, a commercial break, or when a new batter is coming into bat - The markets at times will close but will re-open for live betting.

I have communicated your feedback to our development team. I think that it is important to clarify on the site why these markets are closed at the time

Many thanks,
The Cloudbet Team

I understand what you are trying to explain and its normal for market to be shut down when a player is at bat. I am not talking about those cases. Whenever market is currently unavailable.. It is unavailable for all the games on the site be it live games or the one's that have a few hours for the games to commence. It happens 2-3 times in an hour. Also have seen a few games locked for hours before the game starts. The market being locked on just cloudbet.. the same market were open on other sportsbooks.

Edit: I understand that the market being locked so that you cannot bet any further at that moment but I get that "Event not found or no active markets available"
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: June 24, 2016, 01:57:54 AM
Ive read about few guys who have literally wagered themselves as a bet. So, U can basically lose everything. Its just up to you on how seriously you pursue your gambling addiction Tongue

It happened again! 3 out of 4 times I tried to bet on a game! and Im not even trying to bet on a live game and another game that I was interested in betting (Arizona D'backs) has been locked for a couple of hours and now markets not available. I think this is it! I should switch to some other site.

What is the three way pick on this match? I look for it but nothing shows this option.
Sorry as I am not to familiar with all these options to choose from for a match.

Its just the normal option of who wins the match. In this case his bet is on Italy to win the match . Should be on the top in most of the sites.
1006  Economy / Gambling / Re: Moneypot under DDOS !? on: June 22, 2016, 08:17:38 AM

I was thinking this too. Doesn't cloudflare protect you from DDOS ? But how big of an attack this is I wonder.
It does, but still a lot of sites despite having cloudfare do get DDOSed. I think their business plans might have added protection.

Hi folks,

Good news! Our MLB markets just became a lot more exciting.

We've substantially increased our limits and tightened our margins. Best of luck with your MLB bets!

Cheers,
Cloudbet
What is meant by increase your limits? You mean the odds available has increased? I put some bets on MLB and Chicago W.Sox finally won a game  Cheesy  So I got paid for putting them on all my parlays last night.
You fixed the parlay for live betting now so that is a plus for your site in my eyes.
Keep up offering promotions on big time games like the other sites bitcasino.io & vegascasino.io (underdog team to win or no bet on 50mbtc - Real madrid vs Atletico madrid was last one they ran) then all is forgiven from me on past problems with the site Wink

Increasing limits means you can bet more money on the games now. usually its limited by how much their bankroll is, but seems they have upped it on these games.
1008  Local / India / Re: People pay your Taxes on: June 20, 2016, 03:55:43 PM
How do we pay taxes on BTC and how do we show it in our accounts?

You should pay taxes in INR, the same way you will pay taxes normally.
Depending on how you earned/made profits on bitcoin, you should classify it accordingly (other income/ capital gains)
Thank You! but how do I show sending and receiving of bitcoin for capital gain?
Why would you be declaring or showing any capital gain on it, if you go about showing it as an income from another source ? Capital gain won't be applied then.
1009  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How many traders do you think there are on the major exchanges? on: June 20, 2016, 01:20:04 PM
Not a lot of professional traders trade on altcoins. Its because these coins don't have a very high volume to follow trends and they are very susceptible to manipulation and pump&dump. So its not the best place to trade on for any trader.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 6-WINS IN ROW Challenge ON EURO2016 by Joca97 on: June 20, 2016, 01:18:09 PM
Why do you think it will draw in the first half ?

If england wins today, they will be on top of the group. Slovakia needs to win to stay. So they will both be playing their top game and a single goal scored will probably cause defense to increase on the scoring team to retain the lead. 0-0 will only be the possibility but Slovakia has a good chance of scoring.
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia just discovered that investing in Bitcoin is profitable on: June 20, 2016, 01:13:30 PM
Something tells me that governments learned a long time ago that seizing peoples' money is quite profitable.
Unfortunately it only promotes this kind of behaviour. I also wonder why they took so long to sell it and just started auctioning the coins.
1012  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you comfortable with putting your ID online? on: June 20, 2016, 01:08:39 PM
If the site has a license and is legit like Perfect Money and PayPal, I don't mind to upload my ID proof. Identity theft can be an issue even in the case of bank accounts wherein online bank accounts get hacked and even email IDs. If I need a payment processor/exchange website to sell my bitcoins or store money online, I have to get my account verified then. There's no option.
I agree bit I still have the feeling even when they are legit and have a license for it its pretty risky because if this will leak your details will lay on the streets waiting for big trouble..
If they have a license that's valid, there couldn't be any chance of stealing your identity as they'll have to face legal charges then. It's only when you verify with new websites that claim to have a license that's fake when you details can be leaked. If by any chance it happens and you get to know about it, it's preferred to immediately take an action and report it.

How would you or anyone know they leaked it ? Even if you mark it and all, a leak could have been a hack on your end, so you will probably not win legally. And neither go about filing cases internationally.

Sad to see you lose it all today. I can't believe the score ended nil-nil, specially when France is a much better team. They probably didn't care about the win after 2 wins already. Will you be starting your track again ?
1014  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning to trade crypto-currencies on: June 19, 2016, 06:41:28 PM
Not a lot of guide on trading altcoins. Apart from general trading principles, just go through studying altcoins well as their prices are influenced pretty easily. Look into some youtube videos and look at a few altcoin trading terms and basics here: http://cryptorials.io/learn-how-to-make-money-trading-altcoins/
1015  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling site on: June 19, 2016, 06:35:46 AM

I like that idea it sounds way more fair. Which sites work best with this ? If you can help thanks.
None of the bitcoin sites offer this currently. But if you do wish to bet on these kind of sites check out fiat sites like bet365. Another tip I have for anyone who is making such a bet and wants to cash out, then just make a counterbet in the above example case Bet some amount on Under 2.5, such that your payout will be the amount you would get on a live cashout option.
1016  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you comfortable with putting your ID online? on: June 19, 2016, 06:33:31 AM
i don't mind sending my ID to a company as long as they don't put it available for everyone else to see.
if its just for verification, i guess i can't do anything else but send my drivers license to prove i'm real.
Thats actually the fallacy why a lot of people are scammed through Identification theft. Not all such services require your identification, and despite being registered you shouldn't just send your id to them without marking them in some manner. The company won't tell you they are using your id on different places, the data can also be compromised by a hack,so you should stay away from companies that don't have a good security.
1017  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can anyone verify these bitcoin services? on: June 19, 2016, 06:03:38 AM
I have never heard of them either, so I wouldn't trust them with big amounts. They also have no web presence. Coinfis on the other hand has a non-english twitter.
1018  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you comfortable with putting your ID online? on: June 19, 2016, 05:57:34 AM
It will depend where are you giving your identity and to whom? For example if you are giving to the reputed exchange then it will be safe enough to consider that it will not be misused. But if you feel its a new exchange/person then obviously it will be a risk to say.

Also why does localbitcoin require the identity?

Localbitcoins doesn't require Identity, but its the traders on there who sometimes do to be sure the neteller accounts weren't created on a fake ID or fake account names, which sometimes could be set up to charge back or just cause troubles.
1019  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you comfortable with putting your ID online? on: June 18, 2016, 01:49:15 PM
Identity theft for men is not a matter of concern if you do not have enough to ose but if you have got enough to lose yes it become a problem . I think there should be a special key for login and not those shits like ID and passswords .
Why is money a concern here ? Its basically your reputation on the line. If a guy uses your ID to do something illegal online and is able to social engineer your email or a service you use and do something illegal, then you are likely going to be held responsible for it. Its not only about losing money.

Belgium seems to be playing well and should be able to score atleast a goal by the end of it. What happens with Belgium if the game ends as a draw ?
