1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trust in cryptocurrency? on: March 14, 2023, 11:29:00 PM
Recently, I've been wondering, and based on the people I live with, I'd say that only 20% of them know what cryptocurrency is.
Sometimes I ask my friend or colleague if he knows what Bitcoin is, and if they're young (20-35 years old), they say, "Yes, I've heard about it. But I don't know much about it."
If I'm talking to older people (40–60), mostly they don't know what it is.

We are living in a world of big changes in every aspect of life. But do you think it will be time when cryptocurrency will come into our lives and be normal for all people? Will people be able to trust crypto?

I'm wondering what your opinion is about this.

All this means is that crypto is still in its baby shoes and there is a lot of time and potential waiting for us ahead. This is why its important to keep hodling your crypto, especially Bitcoin.

It will take a while until we reach full global adoption and recognition of Bitcoin but I believe we will see it happen in the near future.

Obviously the older generations will not be happy about anything new and will probably not seek to adopt it. But good news! We have the younger generations growing up WITH Bitcoin and crypto! Grin

Only a matter of time until full adoption.
Some people do think that they had missed up the train which is partly true but if we do zoom out then it is really just that too early to make up conclusions on being late.Yes, 10 years or a decade might already be that

long but if we do make out some some consideration about on how many % of the overall global population does know about Bitcoin or crypto then it is really just that small or peanut amount or numbers
which means that there's indeed lots of room to grow which you would be considered yourself still included into those early adopters of it or supporter.

This is why dont lost hope but of course when it comes to risks management then you shouldnt really forget this one.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My wallet has Been Hacked. i need your help guyz. on: March 14, 2023, 10:24:02 PM
I experienced the same a few days ago, I was trying to use trust wallet to send btc here to remove IP ban because it can send a lower amount.

I sent BTC from Binance to my trust wallet and it was gone immediately the it showed on my trust wallet. There was like two transactions immediately,  inward and outward. At that time I was still waiting for my coins not realizing its already stolen.

After hours of waiting I decide to contact trust wallet support.  They said a bit might have picked up my seed phrase and accessed my wallet that I should create a new wallet.  Thankfully it's only $20.

Note: I have been using trust wallet for months now, just want to use it a few days ago and this happen.  I stored my seed phrase on Google docs and somewhere on telegram chat between my two account. So I think that's why it was compromised.  If you are doing the same abandone the wallet immediately.  Keep your seed phrase off the internet,  it's even better on paper physical.

Sorry for your loss.
When storing up something that mainly important specially private keys or seeds then it would really be a suicide if you do make out some storage neither on cloud or on your PC which it could potentially be having those
exploits or exposure once your device gotten some virus or malwares and same goes into those hacking incident specially on cloud storages. This is why its never been that ideal on having those options.
Just on what you do said that better to paste or copy it on a paper and store it out on somewhere it is really that far on other peoples sight or awareness.
If you do have money to spare then Hardware wallets is always that recommended too.
1003  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: March 14, 2023, 09:38:40 PM
They stay poor either they like to be poor. I know this sounds weird but even many rich do also wanted to experience what is like to be poor. I've seen many celebrities who left the city, their careers and live a simple life in the mountains or on the rural places. That is because when you are poor, you have less commitment and less stress.

Meanwhile, there are people who are poor and wanted to get out of poverty but they always fail of doing so. That is because it is not easy to become rich. It needs some resources or capital such as money, skill and knowledge. It's useless if you have one or two of them but still lack the other because you won't still succeed.
But most of those poor doesnt really like on what status they are currently in, it is really just that they arent really that given up opportunity due to the fact or reality that competition on getting a job
is high plus when it  comes on having a capital on making up some investment then they'll surely lacking and when it comes to knowledge then they do lack education.

Lots of things been lacking and this is why no matter what they do, they would be failing and this is why some are just ended up on giving up and contented on what they currently have now.
For some they might be able to succeed but only a few in numbers who do able to do so.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of my big losses (Gamble Responsibly) on: March 13, 2023, 10:59:32 PM

Please only gamble what you can afford to lose and if you don't have discipline or control you shouldn't be gambling. I can't stress that enough.

People should realize this on which when it comes to gambling then risks would always the main thing that you would encounter then whats the thing that you do mainly need? Of course it would be talking about
luck which does really plays a main role when we do speak about winning. Good thing that you do make out that kind of realistic approach toward sports betting and did show to the public that anyone could mess up
even on a one sided match or even how low the odds it would be.It doesnt really guarantee a sure win and this is where people should really be believing.
There would be no assurance when it comes to gambling because anything could really happen along the way which would really be changing up on what are those expected results.
This is where we do say that regrets do always come at end, when you are pushing that hard and trying out to make things happen on something on your mind then you would be ending up on a disaster because this isnt

how things goes. Gambling is for fun and only bet on the amount which you can afford to lose.Dont go into certain lengths which it isnt really that ideal anymore because you would really be losing money if you do stick with those false hopes and beliefs.

Slight chance of losing could still count as chance on losing your money which is the very basic concept of gambling.
1005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading addiction, are you coping? on: March 13, 2023, 09:59:15 PM

I think it would be perfect to bring this trading discussion. Are you addicted to trading? I am thinking that making profit from trading or making losses, there is a chance that some traders are addicted to trading. What are you doing naturally to stay away from trading addiction?
In life we're all addicted to something it may not be drugs, alcohol, womanizing or gambling, it could be other conventional issues that are positive to ones live and the the society itself. Myself for instance, recently I discover there's no day I don't spend much time with my phone online logged on to bitcointalk forum, that's an addiction but because it's a positive one that's paying off iny self development it doesn't seem to bother people as an addiction.
So trading as an addiction shouldn't be an issue that demands for a rehab attention to the trader, except in cases where an individual has gone to the extend of having to sell his/her personal properties to keep up with trading then a rehab is the best option. It is popularly said that the excess of anything is bad and this i believe also applies to trading too.
Anything that it is too much specially on consuming, engaging or getting involved would be considered out as an addiction. We know that everythings too much would really be that bad and it could give out those negative

results or outcomes when you are tolerating it and not able to get rid or controlled so.Trading addiction is something an addiction that could really be that good considering that you are dealing with a investment or business which could potentially bring out profits if ever you do succeed.

Of course its not something simple that you could deal off with it easily because the market is never been that predictable and not something you could really
be able to handle it out.
1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto related jobs on: March 13, 2023, 08:43:47 PM
That's not surprising at all due to the nature of his/her job but I don't think that all of us are qualified there. A tech support could be a hard and pressured job which some of us can't handle easily. A basic knowledge in crypto and in blockchain may not be enough but you need an extensive one which are only possible if you truly have a passion on this field and not just someone who want's to earn a quick buck through investing and trading.

There are still easy jobs there that an average individual can apply for. What important is that apply only for a job that gets your interest so that you won't feel like you are working or you won't feel obligated of doing it.
Jobs in the cryptocurrency industry are advantageous for those who have sufficient knowledge of the subject or have acquired it. The capacity to operate under pressure is the most important aspect of these employment. No one wants to work hard and earn less because it goes against the majority of our goals. Good jobs lead to good earnings. Having a basic understanding of cryptography does not automatically qualify one for a position in tech assistance; instead, one must possess attributes that will help a crypto project succeed. Complex and convoluted trainings are frequently conducted to teach people how to use top-security firewalls and code and decode the system.
People should realize this specially to those who are planning to step their foot into cryptography or other related jobs that they are tending to dive in.Of  course it wont really be that a simple path to take.

Knowledge would be crucial and some factors are really that mainly needed for you to be effective on this field. You cant just make out some engagement without having proper preparations or
skills or knowledge about this field.

Of course the ones who do have the skills will really have the advantage on acquiring a job which its not really that shocking anymore.
1007  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is ageing and old people part of bitcoin? on: March 13, 2023, 07:35:52 PM
My parents are not into Bitcoin at all, neither my uncles and aunts, they are fairly young adults, not even grandfathers or grandmothers.
So I would not expect anyone over 80 years old to be invested in Bitcoin or any other alt-coins, it is a matter of generational differences, those people already struggle sometimes when dealing with common technologies like internet and smartphones, which are used by everyone who has accept to them.

I am sure there must be some exceptions, but as a general rule, I do not see it happening.
This is case to case basis since there are elderly or who are old which are still having those kind of mind where they are really that open to ideas but most of the time it do really lost up our interest on opening up a topic

about crypto considering that this do really require up some technology knowledge or awareness and we do know that older people who are really that get used to those traditional things that they do know.

Its good if there are ones who could easily able to catch it up and eventually learn along the way but most of them wouldnt really be minding themselves on
learning because they arent really that interested or too much complicated for them to understand.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A remark on casino bonuses on: March 09, 2023, 11:49:43 PM
Enticing promo banners but tncs that make these promos largely useless and these tncs aren't obvious from looking at banners. Upon click they redirect you to login/registration page whereas I feel click on to banner should redirect user to that particular promo's tnc.
Well, that's just how marketing goes. It's kind of like in the border line of things since they're aren't technically hiding any rules about the promo. Though I do think the rules involved aren't anything complicated, itd probably just include the usual tncs of the casino themselves so if you usually play there, I highly doubt you'd have problems.

Then again that might be completely different when it comes to a big event, but that doesn't usually happen in bonuses by casinos.
If a certain gambling site would really be having those kind of behavior which is somewhat shady then sooner or later it would be busted up if they are really not that clear with their terms specially on the time where

there are users who would really be making out some complaints basing up with their user experience towards the site.Just like the rest been saying that bonuses and other promotions do always falls down on the same

path if we do speak about terms and conditions which is mostly or normally be pertaining in towards gamblers disadvantage which its not something new knowing that businesses like these would really be
prioritizing on how they would really be that be profitable.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you sell Shib now? Am holding on: March 09, 2023, 10:50:06 PM
We are bottom of the bearmarket so i wouldn't sell unless i was having emergency and needed cash instantly. I wouldn't even need to know who holds it at this time, and hodling everything seems like a no-brainer.
This doesn't apply only to Shib but to every altcoin out there. Even if there would be one more drop i wouldn't risk to sell if there's an option to hodl.
There's no really sense on selling out on a bear market and why would be doing so? For those who had caught themselves on the peak or have those buy high sell low of attitude then you are the ones
should really be that careful not only limited on Shib holdings but all of the coins you do have on your portfolio.

Shibarium is indeed approaching for this project which i do believe that if this kicks in then it would be showing that this isnt just a meme coin but rather having
that actual utility or usecase which you could exempt it on considering it as a total meme which could potentially make out some pumps.
1010  Economy / Economics / Re: The Biggest Financial Regrets on: March 09, 2023, 09:52:17 PM
Every one has regrets my major regret at a younger age was refusing to learn a trade when I graduated from High school and was waiting for admission into university. My friend venture into fashion designing and is already established although I actually completed university degree a year ahead of him but I feel at this current economic situation that the skill will be a great asset to me financially
Going back not only on highschool but even on college days on which you arent able to engage into something which does involved some investment or steps that could bring up some possible life changing financial
opportunities which could really be changing up your life after graduating on your degree.Yes, for those who had mind off into those early years and ending up on being successful or being progressive then
its really good to look at but we know that not all had ended up on the same fate.

Speaking about financial regrets then the only regret that i had always been thinking that missing out on buying some properties which i might end up on being rented and have that passive income.
1011  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: March 09, 2023, 08:45:25 PM
Remember the first trading lesson you learned as a newbie? Did it come from a win or a loss? A loss teaches you about the reality of the market, protects you from becoming cocky, and humbles you. When you are a beginner trader, a small loss is not a terrible thing. Losses teach you proper trading risk management strategies and techniques and respect for the market and prepare you for long-term success.

Remember the first lesson you learned as a beginner trader? Did it come from a loss or a win?
As the saying goes, experience is the best teacher to be better, but most of the lessons we can take are from failures and defeats because consciously we will know where our mistakes are or we will look for where the mistakes are that cause us to fail or lose in trading. It's different when we win, emotionally humans will forget what they have missed when they are in victory so they cannot detect anything but pride and joy. I personally get more valuable lessons when I experience failure because I want to fix it so it doesn't happen again in the future.
Experience is indeed the best teacher and you wont really be learning out of those success trades or something because this was the outcome on where you are trying out to achieve.
This is why its really that important that on the time you do make out some mistakes, then dont easily quit up but instead you should reassess and trying out to understand on where things become wrong.
You should really be that attentive on where you do commit out errors so that you could be able to make out some adjustments and make yourself that really
versatile for whatever things you do encounter ahead.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wrong Bets !!! on: March 08, 2023, 11:37:29 PM
This commonly happens when we are rushing to bet without seeing the amount that we place.
It feels frustrating to ourselves but it is our mistake and we need to accept it --just like before when I was placing a bet on rockets in Roobet but I only intended to bet a small amount, but it looks like I accidentally placed a bet for double the amount I wanted. This is not what I had planned, I was hoping to have a bit of fun and maybe make a small profit, but now I am risking more than I can afford to lose. This a very expensive lesson that we must learn and avoid in the future. We should not rush ourselves placing a bet, think it twice or thrice and always check the amount.
Common mistake indeed!

For me somehow i do avoid on this which i do rush up on placing up bets because it is really that prone to errors and mistakes whenever you arent minding on how much you are placing in.
I have commit out this mistake but only once because it did really cost me about $100 on a single roll on dice with low odds but high multiplier but ending up with a losing
bet and that time i did make myself be careful because it is really that something expensive if you commit out these errors.
1013  Economy / Speculation / Re: Maybe it's time for BTC to take off and reach the $100K on: March 08, 2023, 10:34:57 PM
All this wait, same price for months, sounds like the calm before the storm. Maybe it's time for BTC to take off and reach the $100K. Just saying. This price is a joke for BTC's potential. Of course all we can do is hope. But it makes me wonder why it's not happening yet. Right now BTC is cheap as peanuts. Luckily 1 BTC = 1 BTC.
If you are just new into this market then you would really be that pissed off on why the price isnt shooting up considering that we do have that 69k$ ATH on previous years and now we are sitting below or on 20k

which you would be raising up some questions in mind if you are noob but when you are already that old or veteran with this market then you are already numb into these particular common situations.

Market cant really just have that single movement on just moving up which means that moving down and sideways could really took a longer duration which it isnt something
shocking and you should really be that getting used to it once you do step your foot into this market.
1014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think there will ever be a technology that can replace Bitcoin? on: March 08, 2023, 09:48:51 PM
As long as people never find full satisfaction, innovation will come to fill it and it was possible that many years from now another technology would rise.

In fact, many years before we never think about this technology as we are already amazed by ATMs. But it was not the end of cashless developments, someone who really has the passion to do more discoveries will find another option and find Bitcoin and crypto technology. This will have no ending upgrades and we can't even be sure that maybe 5 years from now there is new.
And it happened already after Bitcoins existence where altcoins had been created considering that those other developers would really be creating something which is really that more that better than with Bitcoin.
So far BTC did able to hold up that a decade+ for being #1 in overall cap which it isnt really that shocking considering on being the origin of cryptocurrencies and the rest was really just that
that trying out to replace it on top.

Speaking about being replaced then there's no assurance about being on the top forever. Its true that innovation doesnt really stop on progressing on which means that
there would be something better. It is really just a matter on how the demand would really make up some sudden u-turn.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know any telegram group where a lot of gamblers meet? on: March 07, 2023, 11:56:42 PM
Hi, as I said in the title, Do you know any telegram group where a lot of gamblers from the biggest casinos are discussing each other? If you are in some such group please share them here. I believe there are some groups but I can not find them, unfortunately Smiley. Thank you
Given the substantial amount of spam on telegram, it can be challenging to find a reliable Telegram group for gambling. Connecting with legitimate gamblers may be simpler on gambling site Discord servers. However, if you want to utilize telegram, you can still explore for a group. Hopefully someone here can offer you a recommendation.

I agree with you. Telegram has no user rating system, so trusting a random encounter is not very advisable.

However, if you try hard, you can always find a community of interest on any social network. The lists of chat rooms dedicated to gambling in Telegram have already been published above. You need only analyze them and choose the one that best suits you.
Whenever i do joined up some groups whether on TG or any social media then the best thing you should do is to observe out.Trying out to see some redflags and another suspicious behavior which would caught your attention. If ever you have seen none then this is where you do decide whether you do stick or would really be finding another place. Yes, its really hard to trust up nowadays in speaking about tips and predictions
or whatever discussions would might be specially in talks about having money getting involved. There are really just that people whom do love to make talks about a community where they do
share up with the same interest which i dont see for it to be that bad.
1016  Economy / Economics / Re: The Biggest Financial Regrets on: March 07, 2023, 10:38:38 PM
Honestly, those people who think that if they are married with kids and can't try new things do not realize how many hours in a day we have. I have seen so many people who just hours and hours on useless stuff that if you are planned and organized then you have plenty of hours left. I used to work in a different business industry, I worked there for 4 years, and in 2 years of that period I worked every single free time I had, while married (albeit no kids) and still spent time with my wife, all thanks to being planned and organized. Still doing the same thing, my work takes a good chunk of my time, but I don't waste the rest on just relaxing all the time, I try to develop new skills and use them for fun instead of work now.

Sometimes the obligation to there child will make those adult people fear to try new one because they can't afford to risk the future of their children for risky matter. That's why they decide to stick on the things they know that it can give them sure money with low risk even if they can only get small amount of money with it. For sure if they could just have a chance to try new one and doesn't have obligation for sure many people will try to venture new opportunity that can possibly change their financial status even if this is risky ones.
Its a matter of risks taking and we do know that it isnt really that something you cant blame out into other people who do love to play less risks or safe play when it comes to their finances. They cant just bare out the

risks involved when they would be tending to go other ventures specially on investment.I dont say that it is really a bad decision but we do have our own perspective and risks handling in our own lives which there are

ones who do decide on sticking into much safe and less risky because they are afraid that they might be messing up their finances if ever they would decide to take up some risks.
Well if they are contented on what life that they do have now then so be it and just let them be.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bearish market the right time to buy coins? on: March 07, 2023, 09:50:17 PM
bearish market arises when there is a great chance for individuals to put money into it but no one have any idea that what cost is actually profitable to choose for investments. Success does not always possible if you put money and make investment during bearish periods but success also depends on the type of coin and it also depends that whether this coin will be profitable or will become dead.
And this is where DYOR is always been that crucial on which you cant really just spam out those shit coins and make out investment randomly which it would really be a suicide thing considering that there are lots of coins and scam projects in the market on which it would really be just dangerous if you do carelessly put up money on random projects. You cant really be sure whether its worth or not.
This is why on the time that you do consider on buying out some coins on bearish market then always stick up into those who do have real use case or does have potential.
You wouldnt know on how they would be reaching out on the time that bull run do happens.
1018  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who would you trust? on: March 07, 2023, 08:38:58 PM
Since strategy are always changing in trading, what is the relevance of experience? Who would you trust the most for trading tips,
An old trader who has had better days and mostly still relevant because they have a strong reputation for the fact that he has been trading for a while, or would you trust a new trader who is hot in the market and fresh with new strategies?

it's important to consider multiple sources of information and do thorough research before making a decision. While an old trader with a strong reputation can bring valuable experience and insight, a new trader with fresh strategies and a successful track record can also bring new perspectives and potential profitable opportunities. The most important factor is to trust your own analysis and judgement, and not solely rely on someone else's advice.

A veteran with proven and reliable strategy and a newbie with no experience but new tools that are promising for strategy It is really best if you have a lot of sources of information; the more the better, as you can cast, make, and polish your trading strategy, which is really good to earn more profit. I agree that it is still up to your own decision which to follow, but combining them if both are relevant is the best as you can benefit from it.
If you do really love for some headstart as a beginner then it wont really be that bad for you to follow up some old trader and trying out to observed on how they do trade it up.Its up to you whether you would decide on

following his trades and methods but its not really that something that you could really trust up in long term because when it comes to speculations and predictions then all of us are all the same.
Doesnt matter if you are a pro or a newbie which it would really be just that the same. This is why its better to make yourself that have that mindset on which you should really be learning
on your own so that you wont really be having that relying into others trades.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In 38 Days, Freebitco.in is going to give out $200,000 in BITCOIN!!! on: March 06, 2023, 11:39:50 PM
I don't understand you I don't know if this is cause for celebration or it is something that you are you that freebitco platform we give up for any contest, I tried to understand you but I find it very difficult to understand exactly what you are saying other believe my everything to be normalised if we try to understand your point of discussion

Not much here to understand really. All I did was make a piece of art to celebrate freebitco's success in the space Smiley.

I think there's a language barrier going on here, because I had a difficult time understanding what you are trying to say.

I personally think that giving away 200,000 dollars at the frequency they give it out is truly an astonishing feat. Nothing else to that.

Finally, I asked some questions to facilitate discussion, as I want to hear the opinions of other like-minded bitcoiners.
For old-timers or old members of this forum then it is really that impossible that they wouldn't know about Freebitco and yes out of those early years even up to now on which they are really giving out that service which

gamblers do really love and this is why even upto these years where loyal users do really still engage with this platform.Im not sure on what are the changes when it comes into their faucet considering that they've

been known for because of this faucet thing way back and then becomes bigger until it do expand out its business and offered others which they could possibly give out.
When it comes to bonuses and promotions then they are the ones who do able to have that Lambo jackpot prize on their lottery.
1020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin by selling wife's jewelry on: March 06, 2023, 10:51:38 PM
I think that's Super dumb idea because I have seen that people who invest someone's people money, always end up in loss and their reputation might also go down. And that's not good idea in my opinion.
That's why people should invest those money whom they want to loose. That's why I am never doing these such things. I have my own earnings, if I loose this money than i have no such regrets.

Huh What are you talking about?  It is the @OP's wife's jewelry and has been sold with his wife's consent to invest in Bitcoin.  How could investing in Bitcoin to be a super dumb idea?  If you speculate and calculate the possible profit once the Bitcoin uptrend, those jewelries can be bought again but the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin in a low price isn't always available.

I agree that we should only invest what we can afford to lose and I think @OP can afford if ever his investment goes southward.  But with the historical trend of BTC, the price will eventually uptrend.  It just needs to wait and have patience.
As long you wont really be making up some cutloss decision then even if the price would go down there's always the chance for it to recover and reaching out new numbers which would cause up for you to earn more.

When it comes to Bitcoin investment, even though it doesnt really give out guarantees but we arent that blind on not to see about its potential and it had proved out +decade already on whats its potential and
the earnings that it could give on just simply holding it for long. The important thing on here is that your wife did really approve out your suggestion and both of you did really have decided on
selling out those jewelries for Bitcoin investment so that there would be no regret if ever the price do goes south.
