The new withdrawal code is also in. When you click "Cash Out", you should no longer receive a blank error or "payouts in progress".
The code will place your withdrawal into a queue for processing during the next automated payout (currently every 5 minutes).

Hey Flound, question on how things work... I've been mining CAP for a few days, and I've noticed some wierdness. As of writing this message, current newest block showing with 5 confims is 91,491. So at 200 confirms, I would expect the furthest block that hasn't been fully confirmed to be 91,291. Correct? If I go to page 4 of the CAP block list: https://www.multipool.us/blocks.php?curr=cap&page=4I find block 91,287 with 148 confirms. I can go all the way to block 82,718 on page 134: https://www.multipool.us/blocks.php?curr=cap&page=134the last block I see that is unconfimed, is block 82,718 with 194 confirms. Shouldn't this block have over 8,500 confirms, not 194? I'll take a look. I thought I had fixed this bug.

I did also throw a bit of hardware at this problem. I doubled the CPU and Memory on the DB server.
For good performance, you need enough RAM to cache the entire MySQL database. If not, it needs to be on fast SSD. Also check that you have forgotten to index important columns. Yes, I solved most query issues long ago when we were on Amazon with the slowest disks imaginable. The recent problems were caused by the following. 1. Use of the deprecated PHP-mysql library (solved by moving to mysqlnd) 2. Forwarding MySQL connections over SSH (the forwarded connection would just stop working and need to be restarted for some reason, solved by moving to SSL) 3. Connection leaks in the new mysqlnd code (that I wrote) maxing out the DB's available connections (I'm still a bad programmer so I guess I can't mark this solved, but the connection leaks are gone)

What have we been mining all day? I would usually see a payout by now unless we are on LTC or NVC for a long time and I haven't seen a payout in about 12 hours.
I disabled all of the automated scripts today while I was working on the site. There should be a set of payments going out soon.
|
|
|
The site is up. It's still a bit slow because it's currently archiving shittons of shares from earlier because the archive job wasen't running.
Today so far we've mined mostly WDC, MEC, NVC and CGB.

Connection seems much better today, I was able to edit the user page effectively. Is everything working ok?
not for us in NA. been down like 24 hours The website is administratively down at the moment. Nobody should be able to connect. Thanks. Any ETA? Less than an hour now.

Flound, out of curiosity, how much would it cost per month to get a stable server with minimal downtime (less than 15 minutes per day, quick loading pages) for the NA region?
Again, the problem is not the server. It's simplecoin's and my shitty programming. Don't worry, I should have things figured out soon. Just trying to eliminate some connection leaks. The site should be up soon. No shares were lost.

flound, what is the multipool up to? Mining LKY for hours now, the difficulty is already at 6.48636611! If the pool keeps going at this rate we will hit 20 in an hour.
I don't think this is a fair behavior of the multipool for all parties involved.
Titan
The pool got stuck on LKY for a bit longer than intended.

I'm getting "Lock already held, exiting. (money)" when I try to cash out any coins.
that problem is fixed, but you won't be able to cash out until payouts are done. Should be soon.

Why we still mining lky and what about blocks last 1,5 h
They'll come after DGC is done.

DGC payouts are running now. Coins should be in your wallets soon.
I have completed the migration of the site from the old php_mysql api to the new mysqli api. You should see an improvement in performance.
I have also removed haproxy and the web IP is pointing directly to a single server.
I've been out of the house attending two separate IT conventions over the past few days, which is why I've been slow to respond.
Thanks for your effort, If you could use AJAX callbacks instead of Postback, the webserver load decrease greatly. BTW, thanks for your all efforts for this pool. we all love this pool. Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion and the kind words.

I take it back. WDC is still running. DGC will be next.

flound: Just curious, how are the finances of this pool? The last zero fee pool I was a part of went under. Granted MtRed was PPS and a bitcoin pool, but I fear the same could happen here. I've set a 2% donation to help out, but seeing the Pool Stats, I'm definitely in the minority for setting it that high.
The pool's finances are very healthy. We are missing a small amount of FTC and DGC (under 3 BTC each) that were stolen by hackers during the first month or two of the pool's operation. We are also missing a small amount of MNC (~1 BTC worth) that I used to pay for the servers one month. Other than that all pools are fully funded. About 0.6% of total hash power is donated. While that is a bit low, along with ad revenue it is sufficient to pay for the servers.

|
I'm also going live with new payment code within the next 1 or 2 days. I want to make sure I'm around to watch it and handle any issues first.
Basically, the new code will eliminate the "Payouts are currently running.." error message and put payouts into a queue for processing. Manual withdraws will then be processed during the next auto withdraw cycle.
This will enable me to decouple the frontend completely from the coin daemons so I can leave more coins in the hot wallets.
|
|
|
Trading feature will probably be delayed, it's been a busy couple weeks. Cryptsy just implemented auto sell though, so that should tide you over.
|
|
|
Logins are working again..
Stlil in the process of updating things, but the frontend is mostly converted to mysqli now. Performance should be a bit better.
|
|
|
cmon fix the damn web site already I'm doing that right now.. I am in the process of rewriting every query. You might see some wonky stuff happening for the next hour or so.
