1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: November 17, 2019, 05:22:31 PM
altcoins who have a future, of course altcoins who have high popularity in the community, this is not only about the huge amount of promotion that is done because it is still not guaranteed for the long term. so in this case when altcoins have a large demand then that's altcoins that will at least last for the long term or have a good future, and vice versa about altcoins that will die quickly
popularity can disappear instantly when coins cannot develop things more efficiently related to their project functions, most of these coins end up being delisted. Many popular coins eventually die like cartaxi. I have several times observed the coins that entered the top 100 and ended with a similar incident. Dev always has an important role in this matter.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prove that you shouldn't rely on icobench and others on: November 17, 2019, 07:40:23 AM
I never trusted ICO rating sites from day one for the simple fact that they are not even decentralised and the ratings are just done by people like me and you whose decisions can easily be influenced by money and this happens to be the case most times, although there a some reputable ones like icodrops, to be honest I basically just use it to check the ICO details and don't waste my time looking at the ratings, I do my own research.
at least they participated giving their research results as supporting analysis when investors monitored certain projects, sometimes I even felt more accurate than them because of icobench etc. do not take into account the possibility that occurs when coins can be traded, the rating they write is the same as a book cover with temporary exclusivity.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest based on the "telegram community" on: November 16, 2019, 07:38:44 PM
OP is correct because there are some paid marketing services that offer to increase telegram members when in fact those said members are all bot or alt account of them so it is not recommended to rely upon the numbers to know if the project has a lot of support in crypto community.
if they don't buy the service, there is still a fast airdrop mode requirement by asking to join their channel. I prefer to assume not from the number of members because that is indeed a must-have clause, but at least 40% of their members actively conduct question and answer with a focus on goals. Investment decisions can also be seen from how often the admin responds with logical answers.
1004  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money can't buy happiness ... on: November 16, 2019, 06:45:06 PM
happiness is a form of satisfaction zone, if it is too excessive then the soul will be full of emptiness because we always live to live the opportunity. Money cannot buy this, there needs to be a non-material emotional approach and always regard material as a thankful medium that must always develop. For the past few years I worked hard for money and invested in crypto and put aside many other things socially, when I entered the zone of adequacy, I realized that many things I missed with regret, were very unbalanced.
1005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Will You Do To Recover Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2019, 05:54:26 PM
after you check one email at a time based on that year, you only find website links that are no longer active. I didn't read a single comment that managed to access it again, it's all the same. The normal procedure is still using password recovery because at that time many accounts did not use private keys, only the asset reedem model on the website account was used.
1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not control my bitcoins - Zimbabwe News! on: November 16, 2019, 05:11:35 PM
the same thing if Zimbabwe's bitcoin users withdraw to their current bank because it still has a limit on their fiat exchange, there is no synchronization that is the differentiator for urgent needs. They are currently reconstructing the domestic economic system, and things are not going well right away, it's natural, inflation is the worst so far.
1007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Half a million dollar worth of Cryptocurrency were stolen with SIM swapping on: November 16, 2019, 08:39:55 AM
Are these guys also related to the loss of Michael Terpin who just lost around $24 million of bitcoins due to sim swapping?

We have a thread for that guy.

--> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5201498.0
I think so too, the two threads are connected. If this case began in January 2018, there are now many updates on SIM adjustments to avoid this. Sim swap mode is more dangerous because it is able to access email and devices as a whole, especially smartphones. The level of security must be more layered including the use of fingerprints and face recognition.
1008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: November 15, 2019, 08:51:04 AM
try to learn every altcoin on the exchange that you use, if you daily traders can certainly maximize their moment of fluctuation, the connotation for daily trading is to look for a small tiered profit, but it will drain your concentration. The long term is a different condition, and you will be calmer when the coins you buy are in a downtrend, which must be understood is the correlation between weekly and monthly charts and you can enter orders up to 100%
1009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to take advantage BTC Pump and Dump in short period? on: November 15, 2019, 07:59:50 AM
Hard shock to BTC has occurred in the last few days, if what is meant is a pump and dump within an hour and continuing, then this condition enters the confused zone after failing to retest. What can be done is to look at tf 1d, currently in the bearish zone, use several open positions for short leverage.
1010  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Trade By The News, Follow The Price Action on: November 15, 2019, 06:43:01 AM
I totally agree with you. because I was once a victim of trade news. I was waiting for news from big twitter and some signals in telegram groups but I suddenly realized, everything was fake and everyone was trying to seduce people like me to buy coins so they have a chance to sell at a higher price.
That's a big mistake and most new traders often make. please, stay away from it.
The news is true and includes a valid announcement because it was written by the official account of their project, but packaged as soon as possible by other parties as an aggregator and can be positive or vice versa. The step that must be taken is not to avoid, but to think quickly how efficient the reaction of traders that occur if we trade at that time.
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust bitcoin related services? on: November 15, 2019, 05:44:40 AM
casinos / exchanges / merchants / social media, all lead to a reputation built from a pool of community trust. If user traffic always seems to be active, then it has become a reference where companies also think about long-term services.
trust for fairness has all been seen in every blockchain transaction, irregularities can also be quickly overcome with their customer service, this makes everything sustainable with trust for greater use of capital.
1012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Informed is Your Country's Police About Crypto? on: November 15, 2019, 04:46:38 AM
The appearance of many wild Ponzi made our police focus on forming a division for white collar crime, but never touched the highest person because of the influence of the antibody position, this is still embarrassing. There has not been one case of crypto hyip that has become a serious case because the police only investigate complaints as if they only consider it a level 3 crime.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be possible to use Cryptocurrencies in China? on: November 14, 2019, 02:15:43 PM
Recently, I heard that China banned holding cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency transactions, so does that mean that having cryptocurrency in China would be a criminal offense? Moreover, why create such a ban in the first place?
I take the example of Tron, they once had a problem with the Chinese government because they were suspected of being involved in illegal ico and money laundering, although it was not proven correctly, this proves that the government does not prohibit all forms of crypto transactions, they only process every crime according to offense legal complaint. You also need to update your knowledge of the positive attitude of China in moving the blockchain industry and will launch their own cryptocurrency.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL Bounty campaigns Ever Keep to their Rules and Regulations on: November 14, 2019, 11:51:42 AM
One of the major causes of bounty project not keeping to the set down rule to the end is due to market situation,  back then in 2017 the ICO market was booming most crypto project was making enoough profit to pay bounty hunters without stress and without procrastination but since the bear market in 2018 things changed as ICO market dwindled , project were not meetng up with their soft cap any longer and they would have to extend sales so as to be able to meet up with their target,  this had a ripple effect on bounty also,  extension of the ICO sale date means extension in the bounty campaign and changes in the rules of bounty
if it continues like that, it will also happen for many new campaigns for the next 1 year, and even worse is if they don't extend the duration of the bounty because the participant's stake will swell beyond their expectations. So my assumption is that they don't even trust the strength of their project in general. Only exchange-based projects that I see moving, others are unclear with the roadmaps they change frequently.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat-to-crypto - what's with the fees? on: November 14, 2019, 10:42:18 AM
I mostly use OTC, and for fiat / crypto it doesn't matter because it only requires normal trading fees. For withdrawals to Fiat, I choose an exchange that only charges 1%, and is accustomed to large amounts so the cost doesn't always seem too expensive. KYC obligation for reputable exchanges: No problem, the most important is the smooth transaction.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red trust accounts wearing signature..... on: November 14, 2019, 09:30:09 AM
I think having an account with a red trust participating in a project does not mean that the manager handling the bounty is bad. For me it is certainly the desire of the company not to prohibit accounts with red trust from participating in promoting the project and there may be other reasons that are the reason why accounts with red trust are allowed to participate in the projects they run, and I think this is something that depends on how the conditions have been determined by the developer.
there are many developers who only concentrate on the number of investors who enter, and for promotion, they look at how often their signatures are read and remembered by potential investors. So the focus on quality lies in projects that are read by investors afterwards. Then for the bounty manager I think he has communicated with them about the rules used and fulfilled the agreement. The rules for campaigns in the altcoin section are a bit more lenient due to differences in marketing strategies.
1017  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: November 14, 2019, 08:55:45 AM
Indeed, if the company is legit and do have the accounting they can't hide anything from the government, though dishonest company can still manipulate their accounting books and bring only partial of their actual income but the government still will have the share thru taxes once
the company begins to adopt crypto as part of their payment process. Just like with other payment process crypto also help to boost the economy
when companies embrace the system.
crypto has high fluctuations, and if one time they get stuck when the payment arrives because the asset falls, what they do is use other new assets to maintain balance, but it will be very questionable where these funds come from. Accounting data for the government cannot be avoided, but they also need to think about avoiding liquidation so many things will be kept confidential. Until now, crypto is still not strong enough to be the responsibility of public companies.
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you sell a million dollars bag of crypto? Would you trust exchanges? on: November 13, 2019, 06:45:39 AM
if you don't believe it, then it's okay to use your country's local exchange, they will be more responsible if something unexpected happens. for example, there is a large exchange in my country that has a legal entity with a clear office, even though the state does not interfere in nominal transactions (for taxes, etc.), but they guarantee the exchange's reputation with legal responsibility.
1019  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: November 13, 2019, 05:54:18 AM
4 years ago I thought the same thing, and maybe many people think about it again in the next 10 years. This is not a matter of price but the latest developments that are never separated from the world view of technology, even the government is always preparing a lot of things to finally think hard to position fiat and bitcoin. We are lucky that bitcoin is back to doing a long retracement at current prices, there is no other word besides "buy now"
1020  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Bitcoin: Chess Masters vs. Surfers on: November 13, 2019, 05:16:13 AM
Ever wondered why some bitcoin traders are drawn to go out scalping every fast-rolling wave gliding across the screen while others will sit in the comfort of the beach club—mojito in hand—and play the tide instead?

Surfers play by feel, remain cool under pressure and make the most out of their instincts...

Chess masters are analytical freaks, follow hard rules and always stick to their trading system...

Which side do you lean towards the most?

Either way, it's a hilarious read!! Trading Bitcoin: Chess Masters vs. Surfers
I have progress for both because I always divide into many trading orders according to the results of the analysis, but indeed more often become a chess master with monthly technical prepositions, and if there is a strong trend, I will put other capital for scalping, I may not pass this momentum, this is very fun despite spending more time, I consider it a hobby.
