381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 04, 2023, 09:31:35 AM

The current market value of Vlahovic is about €70 million. I can understand if Juventus rejected Chelsea bid, it is still below the market value. Juventus probably consider Chelsea offer if it is above €80 million. I guess Juventus wants €90 - €100 million for Vlahovic transfer fees. Moreover, Vlahovic is Juventus main striker, Juventus prefers to defend him than selling him now.

Weah is a new winger for Juventus squad, his main position is a right winger. It is a nice signing since Juventus has no good right winger. Chiesa - Weah can be a great combination for Juventus wingers in the next season. Vlahovic can get a better supports from wingers, so he can be more productive. This can be the reason for Vlahovic to stay for a more season in Juventus.

I think Juventus refusal to let Vlahovic depart from the Italian giants is not about the fee Chelsea or Arsenal or other clubsides has offered. i think it is more to do with the fact that Juventus does not have the interest to sell their talisman Vlahovic since the team is undergoing a rebuild. With Weah from Lille to bolster the Juventus side attacking ranks; Juventus will want to hold their talisman for atleast an extra season, get the best out of him and get even a higher fee for him.

Davies' contract expires in 2025 and he has yet to agree fresh terms with the Bundesliga champions. Per Bayern Insider, the Canada international is waiting for an offer from Real, who could look to sell Ferland Mendy this summer. Bayern have signed Raphael Guerreiro this summer, and Madrid could look to table an offer for Davies in this transfer window.
https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/alphonso-davies-bayern-munich-contract-real-madrid-offer/blt94d41d176f6f30ba

Alphonso davies here waiting for real madrid's offer and he was hoping so much for real madrid to sign him as a new defender for the club. Real madrid's defender was not good previous season. Rudiger has become the player that contributed a lot to the club.
I think that davies could become a good defender for real madrid but since madrid is not even sending him and offer. It may give no choice for him to stay a bit longer in bayern until real madrid will come.

Bayern has got guerreiro as his replacement. He may not get a place as a starting line up.

Bayern Munich is known to be a proactive clubsides; but i do not think they signed Raphael Guerreiro to replace Davies. Why do i say this? It is reported that PSG is going to get Lucas Hernandez from the Bundesliga champions Bayern and that means there is a void in the Bayern Squad depth, Bayern has just fixed that quickly and quietly. Alphonso Davises is good, and would slot into the Madrid LB spot easily.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 01, 2023, 08:51:48 PM
Zidane and Pep Guardiola have their own uniqueness, even though Zidane was able to win 3 Champions League trophies but he only got it with one team namely Real Madrid, unlike Pep Guardiola he was able to get it with two different teams namely Barcelona and Manchester City even though it took enough time long ago gave City its first Champions League title.

But Pep Guardiola is able to win domestic titles with three different teams at the moment compared to Zidane only winning with Real Madrid, Zidane is only a manager for one team for now and there is no chance for Zidane to return to being a coach in a different team. PGS rumor will sign Zidane have get Luis Henrique and looking Zidane back as manager next season seems not possible yet.

I think it is unfair to limit Zidane champions league 3 peat exploit to just "because he managed Real Madrid" Carlo Ancelotti, Mourinho and Benitez all managed Real Madrid and they never won the three peat. Pep with the best team in Barcelona too did not win the three peat. Zidane won the 3 peat champions league title due to his grit, tactics and proper usage of excellent players. Players like Isco, Ascensio balled for Real Madrid in that champions league 3 peat, today Ascensio is in PSG, and am not sure where Isco is anymore.

Pep is a good manager ofcourse; and Zidane, refusing to take a new job does not make him a bad coach.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 01, 2023, 08:38:10 PM
It is too early to say that he will indeed retire from his national team for good and will not play anymore in the upcoming world cup tournament, and will just give his focus in his current team which is the Inter-Miami while spending some more time with his family in the US.

I mean, it is not really the first time where Messi said that he will retire and if I recall it correctly, he said the same thing after the disappointment loss against Chile in the Copa America in 2016.

From the available signs; it is looking increasingly certain that both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi would participate at the next world cup in Canada/Mexico/United States. Either they are fit to play, or fit for the bench sides; both iconic players will appear at the worldcup; i believe it will be their final international and football appearance.

The coming worldcup is one that will be super interesting and also epic. Theres so much to look forward to!

As i have preferred, Marcelo Brozović has moved to the Saudi Arabia league on a 3 year transfer from the Serie A giants Inter Milan. In the end, it was a good decision from Inter Milan and the player; the player gets a fat wage; inter milan gets up to 17M in transfer fees for an ageing midfielder; and theres enough time in the summer transfer window to shop for replacements.

386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 30, 2023, 02:13:00 PM

That's the main reason why pep was picking him. Gundogan is good last season but what about the previous season? Kovacic has impressive stats overall compared with gundogan.
I don't care so much whether gundogan will leave or stay as long as kovacic is still there and city is fine with it.
'

I do not think Kovacic was signed because of his champions league exploits. Kovacic was signed to complement Gundogan space in the Manchester City line up. With Phillps injured and fitting into the MCFC squad, kovacic can be a quality replacement and also stops Pep from playing Stones in midfield. With kovacic, you have an 8 and a 6, with excellent work rate and passing accuracy. Good deal for both sides.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% win rate possible? on: June 30, 2023, 01:20:51 PM
While I was on section in my account, I was wondering if it is possible for someone to simply have a technique that gets them 100% - 98% win rates.

Knowing the game's pattern, what to bet on and what not to gamble on, the winning and losing numbers, and so on, would I still be able to achieve a 100% win rate?

The truth is there is no betting punter with a 98-100% win rate, no matter how good or knowledgeable you are at gambling; you are never hitting 98-100% success rate. The highest rating that a gambler can attain is 20-30% success rate, either you know the game pattern, the winning or losing stats and all stats, you cannot have more than 20-30% success rate.

This begs the question, how do gamblers win? Gamblers win because they bet with a high value, and they play minimum games, such that if they have one win out of 10 different tickets in a month; they recover losses + immense profits.

Aspire to be an incredible and successful gambler; but 98-100% win rate is a myth
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield farming vs Staking on: June 30, 2023, 12:18:19 PM
I've came across "yield farming" which looks quite similar to staking. You basically go on a "hunt" for "De-Fi" platforms which offer the best rates for your stablecoin (or token) holdings. This is done in a non-custodial manner through the use of smart contracts. On staking, I can basically "delegate" my coins to a validator and earn daily income.

What I want to know is if "yield farming" is better than staking. An overview of the advantages/disadvantages between the two would be nice. Any clarifications would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

  • A way to keep it simple is by saying that Yield farming involves providing LP contract (any token x usdt/bnb/eth etc) then in turn earn rewards daily depending on the allocated APY rewards. Also, You can join yield farming at any top decentralized exchanges such as pancakeswap, uniswap etc; or join yield farming at any tokens that offers such on their platform.

Yield farming disadvantage would be irreparable loss, double loss (because you provide a pair of 2 tokens in an LP)
Yield farming advantage would be high earning rate from the pool, the bigger your LP, The bigger the earnings daily.

  • Staking is also good, all you have to do is deposit the tokens into a staking pool and you can earn proceeds regularly from the staking pool depending on the APY of the staking pool contract; the bigger the tokens you stake, the bigger % you earn daily.

Staking advantage would be that, if things turn south; your loss would only be "that token staked", compared to Yield farming where you lose the tokens and your stables. Also with staking, you can increase your total holdings if you plan to hold long term.
Staking disadvantage meanwhile is that you could miss the opportunity to sell your tokens at a good price; if pump takes place when you are locked in staking
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 29, 2023, 04:46:26 PM
Since being left by Sergio Ramos at the end of last season, the PSG center back position has become vacant and therefore PSG is expected to be able to find a replacement for next season's competition. Today it is reported that PSG have reached an agreement with Lucas Hernandez from Bayern Munich and this has been confirmed by Fabrizio Romano. I think Lucas Fernandez is a tough defender and there is no doubt about his quality. For a transfer fee around 50 million euros and I think that price is still quite affordable for PSG. Now it's just a matter of waiting for the official announcement from PSG and I think this time PSG will try to start building a new squad for the coming season by bringing in a few more players.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1674390405578735619

I understand that Ramos left after a huge pay and excited season at PSG, But i do not think Lucas Hernandez is a replacement for Ramos. To my understanding, Lucas Hernandez is a left back, if we factor in his role in France world cup win and also in his debut appearances in Bayern Munich before losing his place to that Canadian LB. Am i right or wrong ?
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 29, 2023, 04:38:47 PM
AC Milan and Chelsea is under negotiation to get Christian Pulisic and it say Pulisic want to left Chelsea because he want to gets more minutes to play and Chelsea has been agree to allowing him to left so that's why they including Pulisic into their sell list and Milan was offering 25 millions as transfer fee but Chelsea want approximately 30 millions or 35 millions but Milan is very confident they will gets Pulisic soon and Chelsea will accept their bid

I am not convinced with Pulisic transfer to AC Milan because it is looking like one of those deals where AC Milan will be the biggest loser. After signing always injured Loftus Cheek from Chelsea; it would be wrong for Milan to sign another always injured in Christian Pulisic.

On the other hand, its an excellent summer for Chelsea; getting 15m for injured loftus cheek and now another 25m for injured pulisic. Excellent deal !! Hopefully, AC Milan has capable doctors to watch the signings fitness

"No Team can dominate the Premier league and win back to back league titles" has now become a statement of the past after Pep just sealed a third straight title!,

This is misinformation and may suggest that you are not vast with English premier league history; why do i say this?
Manchester United remains

  • the first English club sides to have won the treble multiple times,
  • the first English club side to win the league 3 consecutive seasons in a row; 2 times and also won 6 leagues out of 7 seasons consecutively.
You can praise pep ofcourse, without downplaying history lol.

The fact that Arsenal has been shifting the bid to accommodate Rice after many rejections from West Ham proves that they really needed him and the initial price trades was just market thing, they needed him that's why they had agreed on the $105M and what I think could have push Arsenal for that amount was because Manchester City were also on the raise but pulled out as soon as Arsenal presented another and when they think it's out of their financial plans, they let Arsenal have the deal and it's now theirs to buy.

How will Declan proves depends on next season, nobody can say this is exactly what he is going to do but since his past is good, I expect him to perform well in Arsenal if they put him in good use, and I think if he do well by next season, it's another opportunity for him to increase his transfer fee to another club and so does his market value.

Declan Rice is a statement signing from Arsenal and Arteta and it could be the final push that the team needs to finally win the Premier League this coming season. I also expect Rice to perform excellently well, especially as he is going to play with Odegaard and Trossard in midfield. Its a promising season ahead for Arsenal.

Declan Rice deal has been agreed in principle between WestHam and Arsenal

- Jay -

This is correct West Ham have won in the race to sell Declan Rice to Arsenal. and presently West Ham appears to be the biggest winner in this deal. Now both teams are discussing the terms of payment because West Ham owners wants the money to be completely paid in 18 months time. Goodluck to Arteta, who the Arsenal management has backed immensely in this transfer market. First Trossard, now Harverts and Rice; Quality signings!!!
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 28, 2023, 04:38:57 PM
@Hvdv is De Gea one of the best goal keeper yes but is he the correct one for Manchester United simple answer is he isn’t and that’s the only reason he’s being allowed to leave which makes sense to me. Furthermore Ten Hag needs a keeper who can implement his plan’s and sadly De Gea has failed to do so thus I’m not sad he’s leaving in-fact I’m happy now we’ll have a keeper who can implement Ten Hag plan’s and this shall lead to more victories.

It is true that football has evolved and de gea might not be the best for Manchester United, but it is also true that De Gea is not Manchester United problem. The MUFC hierarchy has messed the De Gea contract renewal in a very disrespectful manner, if we consider that they did not even fix the troubles in the team. What Manchester United need is a ball retentive player to help with build up; not the neccessary distraction with De Gea contract.

Arsenal and Arteta are getting it right, getting Declan Rice, Harverts and Timber to cover for the team weakness in attack, defense and midfield
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 27, 2023, 07:08:44 PM

Daniel Levey would love to accept bids from Bayern Munich over Manchester United, Though, Harry Kane as I read weeks back has said he'll choose a move to clubs in the Premier League over the once overseas. As this current bid from Bayern Munich, I hope he accepts it immediately, he'll not struggle to adapt, as it's the same tap in goals scored by Lewandoski he'll score. He's just a big shark in a small tank at or ad a Tottenham Hotspur player. There are bigger seas for him to go swim.

He'll be the perfect option for Bayern Munich to lead the attacking line. Currently Manchester United are not ready to get him for the price placed on him, he shouldn't hesitate to accept Bayern Munich.

This is the truth haha. Daniel Levy is man who has repeatedly said he will not sell Harry Kane to a premier league clubside; and this was exactly what pushed Manchester city to go for the Haaland project last summer. Both Manchester United and Bayern Munich need a point man, a target man and a goalscorer in their respective squads.

Dealing with Daniel Levy over a player is one thing, Harry Kane choice is another. With barely 60 goals to break the premier league all time goal scoring record; will Harry Kane choose Bayern over Manchester United?
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 27, 2023, 06:56:08 PM

I think FA needs to step in to stop this hyping been placed on  English players because it is becoming something else, how can West Ham United be demanding for a £100 for a player like Declan Rice that's crazy and the next thing you see after a club have paid that amount now he won't be as good as he was when playing for west Ham United after paying that huge amount. Best wishes for the them that will end up paying that amount but I think Arsenal and Manchester city should not pay such high amount because Rice is not worth that amount right now regardless of his form last season. £80 is ok I think Manchester city has over priced him already because in my opinion Rice shouldn't be above £60 despite his form. Now since Arsenal is preparing a third bid for him, I think Arteta may likely secure his signature because he's going to have more playing time in Arsenal than Manchester city but Arsenal won't pay the £100 that West Ham United is demanding unless they will have a clause to his contract.

It is disrespectful to limit Declan Rice to overrated and hypes just because Arsenal cannot afford to sign him. Everyone cheered on when Chelsea bought Enzo for 120M, Everyone clapped when Real Madrid bought Tchoemani for 80M and recently Bellingham for 108M. So why is anyone complaining because West Ham won't sell cheap?

For the past 4 years, Declan Rice has been in top 5 best epl midfield shouts while playing for lowly West Ham side; he is not overrated, he is one of the best deep lying midfielder in the Barclays Premier league.

One thing most people are forgetting is that, just like Daniel Levy in Spurs, West Ham owner is a difficult person to do business with. Want Rice? you are spending 105M + Add ons; he made this clear over a year ago lol
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About altcoins that are released in a bearish market condition on: June 27, 2023, 06:42:37 PM
Is it right to call a project shit coin when it's been released in a bear market and the value keeps going down,  isn't it expected to go down because it was released in a bear market?

Well, its either you call them shit coin or meme tokens; their reputation usually does not go beyond those 2 options. So before investing in any token in the bear market; you need to check if it is a utility token, a meme token or a shit coin. Being able to differentiate this helps you determine which one you should invest in short term, medium term or long term.

The fact that Modric decided to turn down an offer that size (assuming biggest ever means maybe like 200 million a year) was a stupid mistake. Think about it, Real already has a good young midfield right now, which means that Modric is less needed, and sure he is still good but he won't be getting that back again. So if he left, and played at SA league, Real would have still been fine, it is not like they need Modric to win otherwise they won't win situation. That is why if he accepted, both Real would have been fine, and he would have been rich.

I am not sure if he will get the same offer next season, there will probably some financial drop there. If it is a political reason, like cultural unfit situation, then I would understand, that's another thing than football reasons.

I do not think it was a big mistake for Modric to reject the big offer from Saudi Arabia. Footballers are also humans, and my best bet is that Modric refused the offer for family. Another year in Europe, then a move to MLS would work fine for Modric i believe. In the other hand, Madrid gets a talisman to guide their youngpins in midfield. Recall that Kroos also extended for another year

We are a bunch of ambitious folks on a mission to revolutionize the blockchain world. Our goal is to create a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that empowers individuals and organizations like never before. Together, we'll shape the future of blockchain technology!

We're planning a series of marketing activities, and we want your input on bounty campaigns and signature campaigns. Which one gets your heart racing? Which of these two campaigns do you think will work like magic for FireDAO within the Bitcointalk community and beyond? We trust your expertise, and we want our marketing efforts to align with your preferences and expectations.

In my opinion, i think it is better if you have both the Bounty Campaign and the Signature campaign together on the forum. Why do i say both? Bounty campaign helps your project presence on social media platforms while the Signature campaign promotes your project presence on the forum too. If you are looking for an example to observe or follow; you can check Seasonal Tokens campaign here on the time.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How quick do altcoins pump in bull run? on: June 25, 2023, 10:36:20 PM
2024/25 will be my first bull run and I have been patiently buying and holding for over a year now.

Just wondering for those who were in the last bull run what it was like and how fast prices pump during the peak bull times?

Any advice on how to prepare when it comes to being ready to take profit?

For every bull season or bull run; there is usually a new trend all the time which means that previous project would die and fade away and only a few of existing platforms get a chance to experience that bull run/change. To prepare for the next bull run i would encourage you to look into products with real value chain, such as bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, polygon, avax and many more as your bias prefers.

NOTE: Every time is a good time to take profit, the question is; what do you call profit? what do you refer to as profit?
