At some point I do say Manchester united miss de gea, because onnana seem so unstable and irregular, he exhibit some level of unnecessary confidence which I think at some point is not needed and this has led to certain mistakes which cost the team the game, especially in this just concluded UCL game where he was not at his very best.

I understand where you are coming from, but the truth is that Manchester United do not miss David de gea; the keeper is past his best and it is understandable, buying a replacement with howlers does not negate the truth. With de gea, there will howlers in the fa cup finals, howlers in different competitions crucial stages.

At the moment, onana is getting exposed due to a poor tactical set up and horrible midfield; the coach needs to do better

If Ten Hag is the problem, why did man Utd go through those lengths to get him and their fans were super convinced about his methodologies? My opinion is that Man Utd should stick with ten hag a bit longer. Too much instability in a team makes it harder for players to adapt to ever-changing tactics and plays. I feel this is the reason why Chelsea is struggling as well because they're changing coaches like Man Utd and giving little time for their very-rich squads  to mature.

I'm all for Ten hag managerial position continuation.

If results are bad on the pitch; it is the coachs fault; that will not change, not in an 100 years. When the team was doing well and winning the energy cup everyone praised Ten Hag for an increadible feat; thus now that result is the other way; it is the coach fault.

The MUFC team cannot play better football beyond 20 minutes; they cannot protect a lead and cannot even defend a lead; thats poor coaching right there.

Brighton is a team that has proven that its quality is currently better than Chelsea and Manchester United. Brighton have won 4 out of 5 matches so far and this has made them successful in winning 12 points to be in 5th place in the standings.

Brighton is fluke; they will perform any hindrance they want to against the big teams and end up at 7th or 8th on the premier league table when the season ends. Thats why a mid table team will always be a mid table team; no matter how good they are; they cannot sustain a consistent form. The same applies to Aston Villa; its better not to raise hopes too high.

Lazio-Atletico Madrid result surprised me, I thought Atletico Madrid would win.

My highlight for the day, as Lazio goalkeeper got the goal and also the deserved 1 point for the club at home to Atletico Madrid. It was a perfectly placed cross, and an excellent run from the goalkeeper to get the equalizer. Impressive stuffs, impressive drama in the champions league night!!!!

This is why it is the champions league!!!!!

Chelsea's made absolutely no progress and even got worse, even though Chelsea were able to dominate possession of the ball but unfortunately were unable to break through Bournemouth goal.
Its a shame, even though I thought Chelsea would win this match so they could get points and try to move up in the standings, but it seems like its becoming a difficulty for Chelsea at the moment knowing that their performance is decreasing.
If Mauricio Pochettino can not change a new strategy it might be difficult for Chelsea to rise from its current position.

Chelsea decline started last season when they finished 12, and scoring meagre goals and conceding massive amount of goals which indicates poor defense, poor atack; but instead of getting an elite coach and fixing this. The owner Boehly decided to spend huge amounts on midfielders; getting no quality striker or quality defenders and thats why the situation is the same. Will the position change? i think so; chelsea can get a 15th place finish this season, they have 4 wins in 25 thereabout, thats relegation standards.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 18, 2023, 09:44:22 AM

Al-Nassr used to be on the top position on the points table. Going through the previous season of Saudi Arabia Pro League it is evident that Al-Nassr is among the top 3. Once after the contract by Ronaldo with Al-Nassr, the expectation have increased and wants it to be topping the table. The start wasn't good, but the team had made a good comeback and the goal counts were big compared to the other teams.

You are right Romero, i think another notable thing about Cristiano Ronaldo this season is that his goalscoring form has improved tremendously too. This is to say that he has got to understand his team mates more; and the signing of Sadio Mane means he can build a better understanding with another elite winger; overall this has improved Al-Nassr expectations and play; i think theres more to expect too

290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 12, 2023, 08:45:03 PM

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Italy once again misses the result they need - missing a goal “into the locker room” is always psychologically unpleasant, and now only one goal separates them from disaster (probably even a draw with Ukraine would be a catastrophic result). Maybe psychological pressure will affect the players (plus, in fact, the Ukrainian national team is a strong team in itself) in a negative sense. Spalletti now needs to find the right words to set up the players for the second half.

Italy survived this time, winning 2-1 against Ukraine and are now level on points with Ukraine in the race for EURO 2024; The bigger question meanwhile is that is this a sustainable performance by italy? can they make the EUROS and defend their title in Germany? i think it is unlikely, what do you think ?

I was not expecting to see a player like Harry Kane talking like this about his last team Tottenham while he was playing there for years and they knew him as a legend in Tottenham, but after Kane joined Bayer Munich he totally changed his mind about Tottenham and whole Premier League.
He said in Tottenham it doesn't matter even if you lose some games because you didn't lose a lot there, but in a team like Bayern Munich they always want you to win and even if you wi bad results the players are unhappy.
I was not expecting to see Harry Kane saying these about Tottenham at all.

Well, the reality and truth is something that hurts and i am excited that Harry Kane leveled up to a top team that appreciates talent and also works hard for the top trophies and tournaments. Levy of spurs refused to spend to support Pochetino back then after a champions league final loss; and the team has been fluctuating ever since then. Good wages is not enough; having something to challenge for etc is more important.

Glad that Harry Kane has experienced elite demands in the Bundesliga.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 07, 2023, 10:23:08 PM
PSG authority is just delusional. I actually think that the authority of France as a country is delusional to be honest. But that’s another conversation for another time. There is no reason for them to actually keep Mbappé in the team anymore.

I do not think PSG are delusional; they are only being desperate and doing their best not to lose their hard earned assets in Kylian Mbappe and this is why PSG appears to be pressuring Mbappe to sign a new deal or leave for Real Madrid for a fee. Also, we need to be reminded that FFP is real; if PSG lose Mbappe for free; then it means they have over -100M  in their finance sheet, the consequences are alot and thats why PSG is looking after their interest.
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 07, 2023, 10:12:25 PM

Of course I agree with that, but currently I don't know who is a great striker who is worthy of replacing Benzema in the team when Real Madrid only has Joselu as a center forward. I know Real Madrid can bring in the players they are looking for, but so far they haven't done so and have chosen to withdraw from the transfer market.

I think it is a well known fact that Real Madrid did not spend heavily on a striker this summer because they are waiting to sign talisman Mbappe from PSG in the next summer transfer window. and this is why Joselu was signed as a stop gap. Instead, Madrid invested in their midfield options heavily; as they prepare to let go of Modric and Kroos in the coming season.

The reason why so many newbies have missed their steps in Bitcoin is because they have missed the primary approach to avoid getting into the wrong investment,  because we all know the risk associated with cryptocurrency for that there is need to clarify one thing which is is burn out of personal research.

Reason why many fail for scam is because they are looking for investment instead of just holding Bitcoin and wait for it value to appreciate organically,  there is no doubt that DCA approach is good but then also if a newbie os not careful you could lose along the line of DCA so DCA is out of this discussion,  but let dive into something more realistic taking recent happenings with so many investment scam,  exchanges ditching off their clients money and so many other scam projects platform and signals that are notable bad actors in the market.

To avoid all this,  it become paramount to only abide by one rules which is to keep Bitcoin in your wallet and stop looking for investment that are centralized to reduce your risk.

Just a friendly advice!

Hodling is expensive and not for everyone and i will explain using your own context of "keep btc" and the market reality. Hodling in my opinion means you are buying bitcoin in a cheap price and keeping it for a long time until the prices peak. The reality; the reality is that everyone cannot buy and hodl 0.1 btc long term which means if you are buying and hodling 100-1000$ value of btc long term you are just playing around.

So my dear readers; look for valuable investments that help you increase your capital (Including MEME COINS); then use the proceeds to invest in bitcoin so that you are able to hodl BTC (if you want to) because to my knowledge, bitcoin is bullish longterm.
296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the procedures to follow when I want to invest? on: September 06, 2023, 03:50:25 PM

I have came across some questions today while I’m reading some areas of bitcoin, these are the list of my questions.
1. What is the procedure for purchasing and selling Bitcoin, and are there any crucial elements to take into account before beginning?
2. I'd appreciate an explanation of how Bitcoin mining functions and how it maintains the security and reliability of the Bitcoin network.
3. Why is using Bitcoin better than using conventional currencies?

Many thanks to all of you for your explanation.

I see that you are new to the forum and with your questions; it appears that you are just understanding crypto currency and bitcoin; to that reason i will encourage you that the first step is reading about the following and also understand it.

1. Bitcoin wallet and how to keep your btc
2. Trading Psychology

After understanding the above 2 topics; then my answer below will help you with regards to your first question. The procedures to buying and selling bitcoin is similar; what you need to do is figure out the exchange you want to buy / sell bitcoin from. Before buying / selling btc, you should remember that in bitcoin or crypto currency, there are no guarantees.

For your second question; i have no knowledge about bitcoin mining; so you can use binance academy to learn about that, or read different topics in the bitcointalk mining forum. For no 3, bitcoin is only better than conventional currencies depending on what is acceptable in your present location.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: September 06, 2023, 03:36:59 PM
I have seen several topics here and other discussion thread where many people talked about gambling addiction. So many procedures been stated to follow sequentially to reduce the rate at which one frequently visit online gambling sites and possibly their application if they do have any of them.

I remember in one of the threads I raised up a point which was long hidden as the thread became too numerous and lengthy to continue the conversation on that topic. It was my opinion to add up in profering solutions to gambling addiction. I believe not too many people saw it to to say something about it so that is why I had to bring it up as a topic hear. I want to hear your opinion and ideas towards it.

Here is it;

I am of the opinion that since gambling sites are mostly online and some has adds that pops up as advert on visited site, one should be able to disable or change their browser settings  by blocking casino adds and as well disabling  gambling sites on their browser settings so as not to gain access to it anymore till the number of days they deem fit to their resolve. This was just a little tip I gave as a possible solution. I had to put it up here for further discussions so that the bigger community can see it as  well.

If you feel or think here is not the right place for this you can say it. I am open to corrections as we all are here to learn.

In my opinion; Gambling is just like you trading crypto currency. The no 1 rule to become a successful gambler and not become addicted is to be disciplined. Without discipline; you can achieve nothing with Gambling and you would find it difficult to escape any form of addiction.

After working on discipline; then you should develop a gambling budget; with your disciplined mind you can be assured that you would not exceed your gambling budget.
Finally, fight desperation!

The European transfer window has closed. Like EPL, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 there is no longer a transfer market. But the Saudi Arabian League still seems to be until September 20. This seems to make up the transfer gap. But I don't understand, can the European players still leave? If this can be of course, there is still a lot of hope for players who play in the 5 competitions above.

Source: https://www.goal.com/

Yes, European club sides or lets call it every team can still sell to the Saudi league clubsides if they want to do so; as the Saudi League market is ongoing; the downside is that anyone in Europe (transfer market is off) who sells their talisman players to the Saudi clubs will be unable to get a replacement until the winter transfer market.

So the question is, will European club sides sell their stars for huge bucks without replacement ?
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 05, 2023, 09:25:56 PM
Chelsea has a good defense, good midfield and attacking players

Chelsea has everything you listed above only on "paper", when reality sets in and a premier league game is being played; you will find out that Chelsea good defense, good midfield and attacking players does not exist; neither do they have a good system too.

Quote
   but are lacking creativity
Chelsea creativity is truly poor; but do you know the worse one? even if they get the best creator in the league; they do not have a goal scorer in their team and their owners does not seem concerned to get any.
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 04, 2023, 09:38:56 PM
Pretty busy day in transfer season. Major leagues close out soon and a lot of movement happened.
Tanguy Ndombele and Davinson Sánchez to Galatasaray. Mason Greenwood to Getafe on loan. Kasper Schmeichel to Anderlecht. Yannick Carrasco to Al-Shabab. These are highlights for me. I think there will be more big transfers before the deadline.
Conference League team lists have to be given tonight so I'm not sure how they'll do it on time but Nicolas Pepe to Beşiktaş is on the desk. Arsenal don't want him, Beşiktaş is keen to sign him but the time is narrow now. Arsenal paid 80 million Euro for him in 2019 but he never meet expectations and he has a huge contract so they want to get rid of him. Let's see if it finishes before midnight.

Yes you are accurate; the Tottenham new boss has done well to chase off the unwanted players in his squad; quietly too unlike a coach in Manchester. Ndombele gets a chance to rejuvenate his career in turkey; while Greenwood gets a chance with Getafe.. With Pepe banished; i believe its better he finds a club in turkey to showcase his talents.
