Almost all of the matches ended up with expected results for me. I was just surprised about the result of the Fulham v Liverpool one. Because like most people, I also waited for Liverpool to beat their opponent and start solidly. But they just had some serious difficulty in doing this. The team I loved to watch the most today were Tottenham. They really destroyed Southampton 4-1 even though they were 1-0 behind first. Tottenham have given good signals for the season.
Antonio conte side is one that is raring and ready to go this season, with an emphatic and perfect victory in their first league match of the season. The biggest thing that caught my eye was the spurs bench side which consists of Perisic, Moura and Bissouma. Quality side that is. |

It seems like the Frenkie de Jong deal is nearly ending for Manchester United but in a positive way I mean. Barcelona seem willing to say okay to a total sum of 85 million euros for Frenkie de Jong now. 20 million of this sum is going to be add-ons which I find quite big honestly. But as Barcelona need money desperately they still accept the offer. Manchester United are trying to convince de Jong too now. Erik ten Hag might be really helpful for this because they worked with each other at Ajax before.
Its a good deal for both parties involved. Barcelona get cash and free their wage bill by selling De Jong. Manchester United get their man, pay in 4 years installment, replace Paul Pogba with ease and prepare for the new season with their new manager. Manchester United are moving in to sign Tyrell Malacia, looks like united ar desperate to sign him as they have hijacked the deal between Feyenoord and Lyon. United are keen with the left back agent verbal agreement and personal Terms. Let's hope Tyrell agent accept their proposal and get the deal done ASAP. Erik Ten Hag will look forward to make his first signing this summer if he lands Tyrell to the club. Total of €15m plus add-ons €2m will emerge in the next few hours.
I think it was a smart approach by MUFC, and has nothing to do with desperation. Manchester united lurked around and waited for a clubside to approach Feyenoord so they can get the actual fee for the defensive talisman. Then they popped in to pay few quids more than Lyon and hijack the deal. Now MUFC is on course to get Malacia for just 15m. If MUFC approached directly, Feyenoord could request 40M. If MUFC get the deal through, its a smart deal |
