1021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm trying to raise money/Indiegogo support for a bitcoin comedy feature film on: June 03, 2014, 01:09:16 AM
I'm all for Bitcoin-related media, but I'd work the plot into something less underworldy if you want this community's support.

There's plenty of comedic opportunity in Bitcoin without dredging up all of the stuff we're leaving behind.

If I can't be part of the script writing process from the comforts of my van down by the river, then I declare this a scam.  Roll Eyes

1024  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: IMET’s response to AMT (Advanced Mining Technology Inc) negative allegations on: June 03, 2014, 12:46:31 AM
IMET is a reputable contract manufacturing and product development company that has been in business for 14 years.  Our reputation is utmost important, so we wanted to address the negative allegations presented by AMT and Josh Zipkin.

IMET was contracted to build Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for AMT miners in February of 2014.  The Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) were built to print from various design revisions that were supplied by AMT through Bitmine.  IMET did supply the parts and any part substitutions/placement changes were approved in advance by Bitmine and/or AMT.  IMET does not buy parts from the gray market.  Per our ISO-9000 requirements, we only purchase parts from approved vendors.

After thorough inspection including AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection), the PCBs were delivered to AMT.  Prior to delivery, IMET did verify that the individual PCBs would hash at approximately 200gh/s.  The only discrepancy seen was when there were bad cores in an A1 chip.  In this case, the hash rate was lower depending on the number of working cores.

AMT was responsible for the mechanical designs, thermal designs (heatsinks), assembly, final test and QC.  The IMET engineering team can confirm that the boards (hash, main, and backplane) worked fine as delivered prior to processing by AMT.

IMET is very competitive in our industry and the prices we charged AMT were fair and reasonable for the work that we did.  Some engineering time was gratis to help keep things moving.  During our last meeting, Josh/AMT wrote a check for services rendered but the bank account had inadequate funds.

The material that was still left in the shop is being held as collateral until final payment is made.  In the meantime, the IMET engineering team used new boards that were never in AMT’s possession to build up working miners.  The problem is not in the electronics hardware; however, there are opportunities for the PCBs to be optimized.  IMET will give the manufacturing plans to AMT after payment in full for previous and current services rendered.

I was well aware of Joshua Zipkin writing checks he couldn't honor back in March. Sadly, you ain't the only guys. I'm going to try my best to retrieve the posts proving such, but bear in mind that Josh had me delete a many posts on the old thread prior to firing up his self-moderated thread where ALL my posts were deleted. Now, he has reverted to threatening to kill me.

Josh Zipkin is a highly unstable individual, and you can take that to the bank... Oops! Apologies.

At this point it should be fairly obvious that nobody gets their miner until the difficulty level of bitcoin makes them worthless. Another company running their own mining farm?

And, thanks to their self-moderated thread, my 300+ posts proving that the Romanian, et al. behind BA is nothing but a sham, have all been deleted.

I saw their ad banner at the bottom of bitcoindifficulty.com

And, actually, from the first sight i wanted to spend some 1 BTC and get 200 shares to invest for future... until I opened this thread...

My conclusion: better to refrain from such "investments".

Ironically, they just destroyed their cred via this thread. Morons!

Wow Phinnaeus Gage you are a security force to be reckoned with; when CCU gets off the grown I hope you consider teaching a security course there.

Thanks, Brey, and tell your sister, Gratte, I said hey. BTW, if you're still looking for a breed of dog to replace the one you lost, may I suggest the same breed of poodle? <--Just to let you know that I know who you really are.  Wink

To honor the great satoshi I am thinking of naming my kid satoshi.
Any body thinking or thought about this idea.

Why would you name a young goat, Satoshi? Billy the Kid ain't good enough for those living in your neck o' the woods?

Please keep this coming!

Also 2 requests

1. Make a diagram linking all the parties together for whatever, much like a classic systems diagram.
2. Please consider forwarding this over to law enforcement agencies. I'm sure there are a few non corrupt ones that would love some of this info.

Request: Link me such a diagram thingie that's easy to use yet able to create some sort of interactive connections.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Summary of Phinnaeus Gage's Investigation into Brock Pierce Thus Far on: June 02, 2014, 02:16:13 AM
I'm surprised nobody tried to bribe PG to back off. I guess he's not close enough yet.

What if there was proof that Brock Pierce and Autumn Radtke once attended a function in which the Clintons, and the then unknown Barack Obama, among other notables, were also invited guess. Would that pique your interest?

What about bitcoins working their way into 401Ks and private funds? Yes, there are people who have 401Ks that never heard of bitcoins, yet their hard-earned dollars have indirectly purchased them. What if when the exchange rate for BTC goes up, their BTC positions are lowered via profit taking, but if the rate declines, the owners' funds reflect the lost, with new money injected into the funds for the next uptick.

Boy, would I love to have only .001% of that action. How 'bout you?
1036  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: I want to buy a nice forum account on: June 02, 2014, 02:01:02 AM
I have accounts for sale in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=631029.0

Obviously, my user account has more value at the $1 USD per post, thus giving the OP the most bang for his bitcoins, considering the Google juice that'll bring more awareness to his brands.

Hell, at the price point only available to him, he could easily flip the account and turn a profit after he done profiting from it via said awareness. He can't lose!

Meanwhile, anybody looking to earn an easy $6K via BTC for simply acting as the liaison between myself and a potential buyer, have at it.

they wrote in their twitter account, that they are searching for a company which produces and distributes the film. so i guess it will take some months.

If only there was a person on the board of The Bitcon Foundation who has connections in Hollywood. But, what are the chances of that?
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Summary of Phinnaeus Gage's Investigation into Brock Pierce Thus Far on: June 02, 2014, 01:17:56 AM
Brock Pierce is on record in stating that he only oversees KnC product line going to China because he was better suited for the task since KnC nor their partner would be able to circumnavigate the various issues in shipping products to China.

I find that hard to believe considering that KnC partner is ORSoC before Brock Pierce supposedly arrived on the scene to give them a helping hand.

The above is clearly from 2011: http://web.archive.org/web/20110201061547/http://opencores.org/newsletter,2011,01,

https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-9

Quote
Kncminer and ORSoC are partnering up to bring the new miners to the world

We are happy to reveal our hardware partner as ORSoC
ORSoC is a Swedish owned and operated company which has a very long and extensive knowledge within the ASIC and FPGA design field. They also maintain the OpenCores community with over 180 000 members.
Besides their design expertise they bring existing supply chains and agreements that allow Kncminer to take advantage of first class manufacturing companies and locations who specialize in producing this exact type of device.
ORSoC are involved in an extensive range of projects including:
-          ASIC & FPGA Design
-          Embedded software development
-          Product development

Kncminer and ORSoC are currently in the progress of developing the new miners. Progress is going very well at a very accelerated pace and we will be presenting more details on the Kncminer website and our newsletter about the project in the near future.
For more info of ORSoC you can visit their website here: www.orsoc.se

Ergo, ORSoC had no problem shipping to China prior to ever hearing about Bitcoin, KnC or Brock Pierce, hence the latter wasn't needed to penetrate the Chinese market.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 02, 2014, 12:18:55 AM
I wonder how much PH in total Sales KnC did.

Including all Jupiter grade and Neptune grade gear. Not delivered, sold.

"We will not mine with more than 5% of the hash rate we sell"

I came up with a good guesstimate of how many October & November units they shipped:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.msg6002935;topicseen#msg6002935

Roughly 12000 Jupiters (using 600GH as an average hashrate between Oct & Nov units) ~= 7Petahash

They sold 3600 Neptunes. But with refunds it's hard to believe there are more than half still holding their order. Throw in a handful of broken Frankenjups and let's say it's the equivalent of 2000 Neptunes

Roughly 2000 Neptunes ~= 6Petahash

They are reported hashing ~6-8 Petahash @ Boden.

So they are easily mining with 50% of the entire hashrate they SOLD. They are probably mining with 100% the hashrate they have previously SHIPPED.

Either way, they are 100% liars and guilty of fraud and mispresentation*, i.e. knc's business is criminal.

(*Misrepresentation is a concept in contract law referring to a false statement of fact made by one party to another party, which has the effect of inducing that party into the contract. For example, under certain circumstances, false statements or promises made by a seller of goods regarding the quality or nature of the product that the seller has may constitute misrepresentation. )

Ah but its nothing to do with shipped, its specifically "sold".

Do we really know what they sold, we don't know what was sold to big cloud farms or private farms etc, whats not disclosed, hell even the full number of publicly sold miners isn't really known.

So your rough, back of a napkin guestimate could be a way far of the mark, no-one really knows.

8 PH + 10.8PH of known sales is what, near 20PH or nearer 30PH if you take into account the 6TH Neptune is. So 20% of the "known" hash rate

And their mining hasnt really affected much in the way of the value or difficulty of bitcoin if you look at the data, difficulty is slowing down long term, and the price is going up again.

You got a slightly slower,  miner than the vast majority of people sure, it soured your experience, its understandable you would be bitter, but you gotta get off the hobby horse man it'll chew you up inside. All this venom and bile over something that doesn't really affect you. I know, I know, you want to be the one to say "I took down KnC" "Without me you would all be worse off"

The only thing KnC has done wrong so far is screwed up the Frankenjupe packing and shipping, which was a disaster. (Mind you their packaging prowess has always been borderline rubbish) and they are just too late to the game with Neptune. At least they are paying out (albeit slowly) refunds. And people are then free to get whatever they want with their spondoolies (joke) Smiley

But to paint them as "OMG@!@!!! 100% liars and guilty of massive fraud, and scammers, mommy!" is just bull.

IMHO

There is this one 7,000+ mega-pharm - one of three - they operated on the same property Facebook owns at The Node Pole.
