1021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Falling Down? on: September 13, 2017, 05:59:59 AM
Probably because of China possibly banning exchanges soon, and because of the recent Tweet of Charlie Lee (litecoin founder) saying that China finally banned bitcoin; which we all know is untrue and unconfirmed. Though Charlie Lee already deleted the tweet recently probably realizing what he has done.

Also, the "banning" of ICOs recently also did a significant amount of drop in price.

This drop definitely has to do with the whole China news going down. I suspect that a lot of people see this and think about how big of a player China is in the bitcoin game, so when they see the news about China "banning" bitcoin, they start selling in fear. The drop will be rebounded in my opinion, and I don't think bitcoin will fall below 3,500. I can't be too sure of that though, we just need to hope that the bad news is followed up with some good.
1022  Economy / Goods / Re: [New] First streetwear webshop supporting Bitcoin [CDG, Supreme, Offwhite, BAPE] on: September 13, 2017, 12:03:35 AM
Selling Fake gear for BTC? Cheesy  I guess it makes sense, since the buyer can't charge back once they find out what you've sold them is fake.

Actually yea, I hadn't even thought of this possibility for some reason. OP has no trust on these forums, so why should we trust him? He could definitely send some random fake streetwear items and call them real. If a customer doesn't know how to differentiate the real from the fake, they would be scammed pretty badly.
1023  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and other online wallets on: September 12, 2017, 11:54:45 PM
You Have to download electrum but I am just using on phone.

I want an easy 1.

The blockchain rating was 2.5 overall customer UK rating

Actually, blockchain is better than most bitcoin wallet, it's simple and easy to use, you can set custom fees as well.
And electrum for android isn't so good compare to desktop version which you can set custom fees to send bitcoin, but you can't if using android version.
If you have iPhone, there is breadwallet. breadwallet is perhaps the most popular Bitcoin wallet for iPhone. It’s super easy to use and gives users complete control over their funds. The interface is clean and makes using the wallet easy even for new Bitcoin users. The recovery process is also explained well which helps prevent new users from losing their bitcoins due to rookie mistakes. Read more here: https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/wallets/ios/

Actually, I was just looking at my electrum app on android and I noticed that you actually can set the fee however you like. It's located in the settings section and I think the dynamic fee option is engaged right when you install it. You can opt out of that and customize how much you send for fees as you please. There hasn't really been much that I can't do on blockchain on electrum, which is why I think it's perfectly fine to migrate over from blockchain.
1024  Economy / Speculation / Re: China banned bitcoin: 2013 VS 2017. market maturity? on: September 12, 2017, 11:09:29 PM
Stability has been increasing, definitely.

Not unexpected really as there are a lot more legit users of bitcoin now. Bitcoin is much more than just a token that speculators hold to attempt to gain a profit or whatnot. People actually use it for buying stuff globally, and this brings stability.

Even though there was a panic dump it was much a much smaller drop. A lot of bitcoiners especially outside of China seem to think that they will hold BTC regardless of the outcome, as the ban does not affect them.

I think the stability has been going up too. I was almost certain that bitcoin would suffer a stronger drop with the news of China banning news. However, the price rebounded even after the rumors were "confirmed" through articles. Is there any real explanation for this?
1025  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and other online wallets on: September 12, 2017, 09:59:20 PM
I'm from the UK could you advise a good wallet.

The reviews on UK trust pilot are 2.5 out of 10. Is there any better 1s

If you plan for long term holding, Electrum for both PC and mobile will do the job. You will hold your private keys here so rest assured that your coins is safe and it will just lose via human error.

If you will do some regular used of your bitcoins or making withdrawals into fiat, search for your local exchangers there with good reputation since it's more way easy to access than to use international exchangers like Coinbase , XAPO etc to deposit and withdraw bitcoin.

I used to use blockchain, I moved most of my money over to electrum. Electrum is actually really simple to use especially if you can access the android/pc app. Use blockchain if you don't have much money to transfer, but even then I'd say use electrum over blockchain during any opportunity you get.
1026  Economy / Economics / Re: Mental barrier stops from buying BTC on: September 12, 2017, 05:05:17 PM
Not so long ago we've all whitnessed bitcoin at price 2k usd per btc. Now it is 4k. Sometimes before buying BTC I have a strong feeling that the price will fall pretty soon and I hould wait a bit before buying. Usually it all ends bad. Anyone have the same problem? How are you dealing with it?

Nothing serious in that, all investors who are adopting or investing Bitcoin in 2017 have same gut feelings. After all its your very own money you investing.
But based on my own experience, I could easily say Bitcoin has completely outshine traditional investing assets like bonds ,shares, stocks etc. My experiment with Bitcoin as investment has gone such successful that Bitcoins contribute ~70% of my portfolio today.
So believe me dude, its never too late!

I think one thing that should be taken into account with what you just said is that bitcoin rose very high very quickly, and for a lot of people, that meant that their investment grew practically tenfold. I don't know if this trend will continue into the near future. I can't be sure if more countries will start banning btc following China's footsteps.
1027  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: VPN for crypto on: September 12, 2017, 03:36:58 PM
What is the suggested premium VPN to use with crypto?

I would like to use it to deal at the deep web so it has to support TOR browser. In addition, work from mobile phone and allow torrent and SSH to my remote server. Preferably from a country with "loose" law enforcement.

It is not my intention to use it for clearly malicious purposes, though.

Private internet access is a pretty well known vpn. A benefit of it is that you can purchase using Bitcoin as well and they offer decent rates for a very stable service.

1028  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: September 12, 2017, 03:32:40 PM
I have bad experienced with a cloud mining "hashocean" I think. And also my friend, we've invested and like cloud vanished and not leaving any traces at all. After that I've started to doubt bitcoin and leave. Until now I came back to regain what I've wasted for so long. Scamming sites are made to gain profit to fool others that I condone and will not be on that situation again. My advice is just be careful and be observant on anything/sites other than this forum.
I’ve never done cloud mining. I wanted to do it last year, but decided to quit after I made some research and discovered that there isn’t any profit in it. Most of them are even scams. I heard it has become worst this time, that people are getting nothing at all.

Yup, and the issue with cloud mining is that you're essentially competing with those huge mining groups that purchase insane graphics cards and mine with them. They are easily worth millions, so when you put in a couple of dollars into a cloud mining service, I don't see how you can beat those mining rigs out.
1029  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Turning crypto into fiat or is that even nessesary anymore! on: September 12, 2017, 05:34:19 AM
I know this subject has been looked at before but with the speed at which the cryptospace changes I felt the subject deserved a fresh look, and why not obtain that fresh look from the experts that are currently at the forefront of using crypto, namely all of you here on Bitcoin Talk forum.

I know there will be a time when it will not be necessary to change from fiat to crypto and vise versa. Hell that time may already be here. If the time has come where that exchanging of one to another is no longer necessary then i definitely need an update because that would save a lot of time and money. So if you would please share your insights and knowledge with the rest of us on what the most efficient way you have found for

Shocked 1. avoiding the whole exchanging from crypto to fiat to take care of financial responsibilities out side the Crypto-space

Huh 2. what is the most efficient and cost effective way you have found for the exchanging of crypto to fiat?

Please remember that ideas are awesome and helpful to further a subject so please do share yours, but with that being said please remember that lots of people that read this may be new to crypto so please do include details and specifics such as names of places, cost and special steps that maybe needed to accomplish your way of doing something. I want to thank you all in advance for your participation and for all that you give on a daily basis to help improve and add to the Crypto-space.

For now, I'd suggest converting to fiat but that's just because Bitcoin is not accepted on a super wide scale. Once it starts being taken in by more corporations and businesses, you can hold Bitcoin instead and use that. The only issue with using Bitcoin on a daily basis is the volatility of it. You may pay 5$ for something in the moment but that might end up being worth 7$ the next day.
1030  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ✰ [ANN] BITMIXCOIN.IO ✰ High Volume Bitcoin Mixer ✰ BTC IN ESCROW on: September 11, 2017, 05:07:36 PM
What separates your services from other mixer services? What is the incentive that I as a user have to use your new service over something that's a bit more trusted like coinmixer? I know bitmixer stopped service and that is a huge part of creating a mixing service, but as a user of mixer services, I'd love to find a new reliable mixing site. Hopefully these questions will give everyone some insight into how your service is unique.

excellent questions,

We know that a service like mixing takes time to gain trust, that is why we are the only mixing company (that we know of) that decided to put a paid escrow to prove that we are not scammers and planing to provide our service for years to come. even if someone running a campaign it does not mean he won't scam his customers.

We provide a simple service - mixing and we will do it as best as possible. more over, the process is fully automatic.

We encourage people to try our service with small amount and over time we will gain trust from the community to become the largest and most trusty mixing service out there.

Understandable.

I like the escrow move -- I think it makes you guys trustworthy to put down some money with an escrow and letting people know it's safe to put their money through your mixer.

However, I think the main question is (for me at least) how will you guys compete with large mixing services that already have reputation online?
1031  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who wants to see the price go down? on: September 11, 2017, 05:02:10 PM
I can't wait to see it at 3K level. I will load what I can buy. Btw, I own a dozen of it, so I'm loosing in the short term, but I know it will pass 6k by 2018.  Time to load again What's your entry price?

Everyone who doesn't own Bitcoin would love to see the price go down. Everyone who has a little bit of Bitcoin but not a lot would love to see price go down. Everyone who has a lot of Bitcoin probably wouldn't want to see the price go down. I'd say that if it drops to 3k without any major news stories, it would be safe to put some good cash into.
1032  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin drop? on: September 11, 2017, 05:00:01 PM
If bitcoin will drop its price I am sure that bitcoin will still recover and will still hit what its value as of today, bitcoin right now are very trusted and a lot of people now are using bitcoin. So I guess even if bitcoin drops it will still recover and have a good price in the future!
Although the community of Bitcoin today does not like the past still small, but you have to know recently, almost investors are speculator, they do not have knowledge and experience about cryptomarket, this is advantage for whales create panic easy on the market.

Price of bitcoin will never or ever reach the low  value .In past three days, the price of bitcoin may vary or fluctuates. But it value will not go below the value of 4000$.Last week the price of bitcoin is  greater than the value of 4500$.In past three days the price is fluctuates .But the value is stable on 4100$.

I was actually following the Bitcoin price pretty well since the whole China news came out and I was pretty amazed that even though just a little after the news BTC dropped by around 1%, it rebounded within the next 6 hours back to it's original trading price. I don't know if people are just tired of hearing the China news and don't care or what's going on, but clearly it seems like Bitcoin wasn't extremely affected by this news instantly.
1033  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will rebound tonight according to theory! on: September 11, 2017, 06:34:10 AM
I'm sure bitcoin will be back up again sometime, but I was hoping it would fall a bit so I could acquire some for "cheap" again.

I think a lot of people are in the same boat as you and that's why a lot of Bitcoin holders aren't super scared when they see small drops (small being ~10%). They know that there's a group of people willing to buy because of the news surrounding Bitcoin. News affects the Bitcoin price by a lot, so when it drops people try to jump onto the train before it rebounds.

1037  Other / Off-topic / Re: Alternate options if bitcointalk.org will shot down for a while? on: September 08, 2017, 09:25:44 PM
What will happend if this website gone curupted or gotten a virus?is there any alternative options? Which we can use temporary for a while?

Since it's more on information:

-Telegram, Slack (if needs some info about ICO projects)

-Reddit discussions.

-Local discussions. (We have several crypto groups here via group chat in some of social media platforms)

-Crypto related forums.

-Anyhow we have the beta version I think we can migrate to that in a rush although it's not 100% ready.

Personally, I think the multiple bitcoin subreddits is the closest we can get to bitcointalk if we want something as an alternative for this site. The only issues of the subreddits that I can tell is that they're not as spread out as bitcointalk is, meaning there aren't as many boards to post in and talk to others on. Also, reddit lacks a significant bitcoin trading subreddit which takes up a lot of the activity on bitcointalk, I think. The marketplace here is fairly active from what I see on the daily.
1038  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 dollars into a million on: September 08, 2017, 07:25:04 PM
So what you want to say?
Yes buy now new cryptocurrencies and in 5-10 years you will be a millionaire!

I don't think a lot of altcoins and crypto currencies will do as well as Bitcoin did. I think there may be some coins that come close, but the long term gain of Bitcoin has been extremely insane. Maybe it's possible that a coin can do very well, but I think it's hard to compare any coins gains to Bitcoin. Sure you might be a millionaire if you put a lot of money into crypto, but you might also be a broke guy in a few years.
1039  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How erning over 100000 satoshi/wekly on: September 08, 2017, 05:45:42 PM
it is so easy

1. increase your rank
2. give cheap software
3. be trusted

Or, an even better route:

1. Increase rank to at least Senior Member.
2. Join a Signature Campaign.
3. Work/post so that you can gain more trust and rank.
4. Become a campaign manager so that you can make even more than you were before.

Obviously that fourth step takes a lot more time and effort and organization, but it can definitely be worth it.
1040  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTS The Method I Earned 4+ BTC In 1 Month on: September 08, 2017, 05:42:30 PM
Hey, I am here to offer the method that made me over 4 bitcoins for 1 month. The method is whitehat, doesn't take much of work and even a newbie would be able to do it. What I am offering the method for is:

Basic Package - 0.05 BTC
Advanced Package - 0.1 BTC. Advanced Package comes with personall support untill you manage to earn back those BTC you spend.

Here is proof of my earnings.

https://ibb.co/icyUTa

https://ibb.co/j7F9Ta

Why are all of the earnings from may? You should put up some payment proof that shows that you're making the same amount now. Bitcoin back then was a different price than what it is now; if you were getting paid based on the BTC/usd amount, you'd be getting less now. I also think you'll have trouble with this simply because not a lot of people trust newer members here with large sums of money.
