1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Desico - security token platform on: June 26, 2018, 05:57:00 AM
Hi,

any thoughts on Desico? Seems to be an interesting project, brings law regulation to the ICOs. I think it could help prevent scams and have more usable coins than it is currently offered in the market.
So, how they can bring the law to the ico while there is an official institution are interested to bring it. Lol it's just another money grabber. i guess rather than using it and then the majority if icos will bb more interested to betting on the regulation approval from the government.
1042  Economy / Speculation / Re: The end of worlcup 2018. BTC will be down to $ 2k. on: June 26, 2018, 05:54:26 AM

Can not be bitcoin can drop to 2k $, you keep watching the trend and the path of it you will understand.

Yes, i have believe that this year we will see 2k usd for sure.
The decline has been persistent throughout the year which seems no where stopping in near future.
When bitcoin declines and the majority of these people are following those people are creating FUD at this place. You said that it will go to the 2k USD but if another scenario will be happening just like the bitcoin goes to the moon and you will tell another opinion like it will go to the 20k or even more. What a kind of scenario.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coin to buy a cup of Coffee? on: June 26, 2018, 05:52:27 AM
So what's the best coin to buy a cup of Coffee with? Transaction cost must not be expensive and the transaction must complete before the Coffee gets cold...  Cool
Could you take DAG system as the secondary option? because it has zero transaction fees. But it will be impossible right now. Even you are getting zero fees for your transaction but remember about the volatility of crypto is running so fast. you may lose more than what will you pay for your transaction fees
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO VS ETH on: June 26, 2018, 05:51:06 AM
In my mind, Ethereum has a very high potential for its development. so it will be very capable for Ethereum will continue to grow. but if NEO is one altcoin that I like. NEO is the first cryptocurrency in China. It has a technology and development plan very similar to Ethereum should be called Ethereum China. NEO to the smart economy. In addition, NEO also has faster transaction processing speed than Ethereum.

Neo has lost a lot of demand from the new platform just like EOS and any other new smartcontract platform. as the chinese ethereum and why would it not so popular on its country? remember this is the second time there is a party that has created a survey about which platform that has been talking a lot by the majority of people in china.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: June 22, 2018, 11:01:15 PM
It is only the buyers who will be happy at this point. Me as an investor, I bought the tops and now my portfolio is way too below anything I had ever expected it to be. At this point, I am nothing near being happy. All I do each day is check if there is any news at all that can push up the market for me to take a little profit.
The buyers were buying at the bottom will always try to secure their profit when the bullish trend has already come. we are not happy with the latest chart of the cryptocurrency. But at least it may better if the crypto will become a stable a little bit. Afaik there is no bad news to push the latest bearish trend. All of them are good news.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether or altcoins? on: June 22, 2018, 10:59:11 PM
altcoins are more risky but they can have a better outcome, if you know what your doing i would recommend investing in altcoins, if you are fairly new to cryptocurrencies i recommend staying with ether
Sometimes it's not too risky because the altcoin was doing any correction to the ethereum and bitcoin price. This time the majority of altcoin has been increasing a lot on the ethereum and bitcoin price to correcting its price with the latest bitcoin and ethereum price. I think that it's not so bad to hold altcoin.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best coins for Staking ?? on: June 22, 2018, 10:57:25 PM
The best staking.
1. Navcoin is an electronic currency developed on the Bitcoin platform.
2. NEO is a smart contract development platform commonly known as "Ethereum of China".
3. Ark is not just an electronic money; that's the whole ecosystem.
The best staking coin should be considered from the how many annual return that has been paid to the stakers and as far as i remember NEO becomes the best platform that has been paying the stakers the best annucal return. I think that NAVcoin pay less than NEO platform. I believe NAV coin should be on the below of NEO platform.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Salary in BTC from the Israeli company Spot.IM on: June 21, 2018, 01:47:11 PM
Israeli Internet company Spot.IM will pay salaries in bitcoins

Israeli Internet company Spot.IM plans to pay salaries to employees in bitcoins. Now she is negotiating with the Israeli tax authority (ISA) about obtaining a permit for the proposed method of payment along with an appropriate method of calculating exchange rates.

According to Spot.IM spokesman Itay Bracha, in Israel, the salary or allowance paid to an employee is taxable. The company offers employees to open an account on the crypto exchange, where they will transfer the converted into bitcoins salary.

To provide insurance against bitcoin volatility, the highest coin price and the lowest on the specified day will be calculated and used as an exchange rate. The staff will also have the opportunity to choose between receiving a salary or part of it in bitcoins or fiat money.

Employees of Spot.IM have approved this offer, as the high fee for conversion will be covered by the company. In addition to net profit, pension funds or other benefits will not be transferred using bitcoin.

In February 2018, the Israeli tax authorities announced that the crypto-currency transactions are assets subject to a capital gains tax. Thus, employees will need to pay a tax of 25% if they will profit from operations with bitcoins.

According to the head of Spot.IM, Ido Goldberg (Ido Goldberg), the company fully supports crypto-currencies and believes that such initiatives can provide confidence in the crypto-currency sphere.

It will be the happiest news for the people in Israel. It will be the exciting news for the people who know more about bitcoin. If they know about crypto currency and bitcoin before means,y ou can sell that bitcoin with best price. If you are new means, you will  sell at low price.
Not all of the employes can accept it in the future. As you can see that this idea has already applied in so many times but a lot of them are getting tired about the volatility that can decrease their salary anytime. Because in fact that the result of their salary will depends on the bitcoin itself. The market is really volatile.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties required KYC. on: June 21, 2018, 01:44:09 PM
Do you agree that Bounty needs KYC?

In my opinion only, I will agree with this policy to avoid multiple accounts or the use of other accounts in bounties. If it has this policy it will be fair to investors and to bounty participants. Scams can be reduced to a bounty. Dumpers can also be reduced.

What is your Opinion?
Free comment.
The majority of bounties that has already applied KYC requirement is to defend their project from the regulators. I can say they should be compliance to avoid any problem with the regulators in the future and that's it. Because i have seen this has been discussed in so many times about that.
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping using crypto? on: June 21, 2018, 01:41:18 PM
There's a great video of the Zeex app in action at Starbucks buying a coffee with Crypto https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXnBEor6440&t=23s
Just curious is this a new app that based on the card development project? I remember we can use Pay token to buy in some merchants in thailand even mcdonald has already accepted pay token. It looks like very similar to the tenx pay token as far as i know. Correct me if im wrong.
1051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Signs of an ICO scam: Red Flags of a Ponzi Scheme on: June 20, 2018, 02:11:45 PM
Please note that this article was initially published in our blog on Medium medium.com/assetrush/5-signs-of-an-ico-scam-red-flags-of-a-ponzi-scheme-67749af3565c

The number of ICO scams is growing rapidly and proportionally to the amount of money that is stolen. However, not every ICO is a scam, and it’s still possible to find a gem in the vast sea of fraud. Since a lot of people are reaching out to us at assetrush.com to seek our professional opinion on different tokens, we’ve decided to share with you five telltale signs that will help you avoid getting taken in by a Ponzi scheme.

1. The landing page

Start with the conspicuous: the landing page. The kind of information that is presented there can already tell you a lot. If you see a good description of the company, their project and vision, then it’s something worth your attention. Good examples would be Wanchain and Bancor, whose websites primarily focus on technology and architecture. If everything you see on the landing page is about a token sale and is supported by the phrase “make money”, then you should probably stop wasting your time and close a tab. Always keep in mind the infamous Pincoin which promised its investors up to 40% in monthly profit before turning out to be one of the biggest scams in the crypto history.

2. The product

Critically evaluating the product is the next step you should take. The first question to answer here is if this project really needs blockchain. Very often we read descriptions of products that are working well enough without the new technology. If a startup wants to use blockchain for no particular reason, not to solve a specific long-standing problem or fill in some gap in the market, its founders probably don’t have a strong idea of what exactly they want to do.

The second question is about the company’s technical documentation. Do they have a white paper? Is it well written and properly structured? Does it contain technology-related information? White papers of most ICO scammers beat around the bush using ambiguous complex sentences and Wikipedia-style definitions.

3. The team

When examining an ICO team, you should pay attention to two things as well. First of all, do they have accounts on some major social media? If so, do they constantly post something or are those accounts abandoned? An unrepresented and inaccessible ICO team, like in the case of the aforementioned Pincoin, is a cogent reason to smell a rat.

Second of all, take the time to learn more about the people who are working on the project and their backgrounds. This is very important because if you find out that at least one team member has a track record of being involved in some sort of scam, you’d better not take the risk.

4. The media

Another item to consider is the official media channels of the ICO. What matters here is not the number of followers (it may be most impressive), but how lively discussions are and what people are talking about. Inactive communities of 60000 members always look suspicious, and so do utopian conversations about how much money people will make by investing in this token. Bots instead of real people and paid promoters promising untold wealth are a major red flag that you’re looking at a scam.

5. What others have to say

We’re lucky to be living in the time of online reviews and tweets which can spread and blow up the Internet in a matter of seconds. Therefore, we suggest you don’t neglect such valuable resources. From Bitcointalk to websites like Is This Token A Scam to hashtag search on Twitter, use the Internet to the fullest to learn from others’ experiences. Even one or two negative reviews are a warning sign that should encourage you to keep doing painstaking research into a token before investing in it.

Final Thoughts

When it comes to plowing money into ICOs, no one can be fully protected. However, there are some signs that will help you detect a scam:

1. Nothing about ethos, but a lot about an attractive return on your investment
2. A product with poor technical documentation
3. No core team represented or a team member who’s been involved in fraud
4. Large, but inactive community
5. Negative reviews on various Internet platforms
In fact that your article is not really useful for those are aiming instant profit after ico has already listed on the exchange site. I can tell you about one example just like bankera. The CEO of bankera has known by the majority of crypto users as a scammer because he was scamming so many people through ran spectrocoin. Hundreds bitcoin have disappeared. But people are still don't care about that
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH transaction is cheap and fast on: June 20, 2018, 02:09:09 PM
ETH transaction are faster to confirm but are less safe, ethereum can handle more transactions but it's means the blockchain is growing faster and also it's cheap and fast because it's runs many coins besides ether
Can you tell me what do you mean about less safe? it never has any problem and everyone still fine to use it. The only problem when you are getting stuck in the network but it can be solved easily through re-broadcast your transaction again and i think that there is a lot of problem when using it and i can say it's safe

1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO Blockchain: Is it the Ethereum killer? on: May 25, 2018, 11:04:01 PM
Neo can only try
But It is nothing compared to Etherum Blockchain
Neo seem to be more of a hype than hardwor

In years to come, Neo can be better
But Neo is never an Etherum killer
Take note
Well there's still plenty of possibilities that NEO could take over ethereum's throne but I agree that it's nowhere to kill ETH since it's still far below ETH in every aspect I guess, not talking about the feature anyway.
The fact that ETH's smartcontract still be used widely until now alone is enough to be sure that ETH will hold its position for a long time.
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: May 25, 2018, 09:43:11 PM
This question is not just as easy as we may know to answer it anyhow. It needs experience. From what I have experienced, most projects with products already make successful projects easily but what hurts most often is that they do not think about investors any more rather, they concentrate on their product. They don't even think about listing on exchange.
Know plenty of this kind of project and tbh, they are just trying to money grab the crypto community, they will don't care what will happen after they just gathered big amount of money
even their telegram group are left with no moderator or any representative of the project whatsoever, this kind of project is as bad as scam.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is altcoin is too riscky to invest now ? on: May 25, 2018, 02:24:39 PM
Surely the person was crying, because it's been a few days almost all altcoin down,
all types of investments have risks, and that's normal, buying altcoins at expensive prices and then altcoin down ,is normal, you can hold the altcoin until the normal price returns, or you can take a bit of risk by selling it and moving to another altcoin, which you think more profitable, to minimize your losses.
Even stocks and currency also could be dumped or as you said down at some point of time, this is a really normal things happened to cryptocurrency since it's heavily used as a speculation tool. What do oyu expect? A never lasting pump so that bitcoin could have an infinite value to USD? Just lets be real here, everything that has value is volatile.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Ripple or Litecoin? on: May 24, 2018, 08:50:06 AM
Exclude XRP and you will be fine,XRP is a centralized coin which is manipulated by these bankers,it was created based with the banking structure that is why we shouldnt consider it as a cryptocurrency, its just a plan white digital fiat currency that is hiding into cryptocurrency market.Ethereum is a good platform which offers both smartcontracts and d-apps ,litecoin is very stable has faster block confirmations that bitcoin and ethereum indeed a good currecy for payments.
buying XRP is buying ripple company's stock . in the long run , XRP will grow substantially . because it is a practical coin . it is a cross-border transfer to the best solution . many banks have joined ripple .
andd.... centralized, never become more bothered to see the fact that so many people here who says that they want to break free from the chain of all those banksters out there just ended up into the same cage.
How if I tell you that it's better investing into real stock than Ripple so you can have legal ownership and get the dividend aswell.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto can be less volatile than gold? on: May 24, 2018, 08:48:20 AM
Just speaking the fact here, crypto is being used as a speculative tool heavily where gold, so many people consider as an investment or a form of wealth saving, this alone answers your question that cryptocurrency will never ever become as stable as gold and the market capitalization is kinda too low for bitcoin or any crypto summed up to prevent any form of manipulation, even if bill gates want he would easily manipulate the price of bitcoin.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of Ethereum? on: May 23, 2018, 06:50:21 AM
Ethereum is getting popular day by day. People participating in ICOs they use ETH a lot. Ethereum is a smart contract.

But what does Ethereum do better that any other alt?

Ethereum is good for those people who are new in trading because they can invest a huge amount since it was cheaper and the experience they will gain through this coin will make them a better trader in the future.
The flexibility of any cryptocurrencies that every single of them have atleast 8 digit decimals alone is enough making your statement wrong, even if the price of Ethereum suddenly increase to 1  billion dollars, people could still invest with any amount, it's not all about trading or gaining profit, it's about how technology making our life as a human easier by giving so many features and benefits.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: May 23, 2018, 06:05:39 AM
its true, that is also the main reason why other countries cant accept cryptocurrency in their country. if they legalize cryptocurrency in their country, scam ico will spread in the crypto world and it will highly affect every investors.
This is why human can't advance, don't you think that if a country who wants to accept cryptocurrency only limit the crypto to for example top 5 with biggest volume will solve problem?
It's kinda easy and  I can say that most ICO's token or coin are mainly used for security not a real currency so yeah, not a really big problem judging on your statement.
