Is this just to see what people are willing to pay or is there a close of auction or a buy now price? I mean I'd throw out a bid but if you're just looking for an appraisal....

All of that.

1071  Other / Meta / Re: Im pretty sure messages are getting deleted from my inbox Im calling the cops on: February 27, 2014, 11:53:41 PM
Next time you see a cop on the steets, flag him down.  Wave your phone in his face, pointing to bitcointalk and tell them they stole my XYZ! Arrest them!!

And lemme know how that goes down.

sounds like one of those guys that takes an epic loss on a shitty investment.

I dunno about that.

If he HODLES for a day or two and there is even a small upward move, he gains a ton.

If he only cashes out he is good.

If Dogecoin drops, he loses but the trend says that won't happen.

Looks like a WIN-WIN to me!

My $.02.

Wink

I feel it's risky. I believe doge is pure hype. I believe it'll be tough trading them for something far more valuable, like bitcoin.  If he manages to trade his assets at the right time-to capatilizer on the hype-he could get away with a sweet profit.  However I feel it's too risky and should be kept away from bitcoin as it makes it come off as silly and hacker-humor-like, which has no mainstream appeal.  Bitcoin is neutral and obviously the natural selection.

My parents have just let me know that they wont be paying for my rent next semester at school so I will need to make up the money. I will be getting a job but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas where I could make up the other 150-200 a month I need to pay for rent and food. I would prefer no bullshit survey websites that pay 10 cents for an hour survey, but I guess all ideas are appreciated. It needs to be something I can do in my freetime since I will be balancing school and a job. Thanks in advance!

Damn that sucks balls dude.

Wish I could relate. I provide a roof for my parents. Opposite situation. And I'm just a couple
Years older than you. Smiley

this is madness, never know btc is so volatile..

It's experimental.

The madness seemed to have settled... For now.
Fortunately it wasn't as bad as before. I figured folks would be clogging up the suicide hotline again.

The bitcoin golden age is yet to start so stay tuned. I been trading bitcoins in many years. Up and downs is normal in bitcoin.

no shit. the collapse of an exchange is user incompetance.  btc has nothing to do with it.  this is a good thing for the ecosystem. it'll filter out the exchanges unfit for volume. and hopfully refine and polish them.  we want robust platforms for the long haul.

the frenzy is laughable.
