1061  Economy / Marketplace / Re: GLBSE 2.0 release delayed. on: March 01, 2012, 03:50:40 PM
I'm anxiously awaiting this. I've waited to pull the trigger on some shares because I'm utterly confused by the process. Hopefully this will help.
1062  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 5 dollar logos (or 1btc) on: March 01, 2012, 03:46:59 PM
I'll bite.

I need a logo for irelan.org (ireland + lan party), which is a site that I will be using to post lan party information. It would be great to have a shamrock with some ethernet cables coming out of it, or something like that.

Also, I could use a logo for another site, freezepc.com, I'm thinking a computer in a freezer or icecycles coming off of a computer or wires coming out of a freezer. The idea is to post pictures of systems in freezers for overclocking.

If they're good, I'll tip extra and perhaps some other ideas.

Thanks!

Shipping update? It's probably on its way, but I wanted to make sure.

Do you need the heatsink with the sempron? I have a 145 that I would be willing to sell, but I don't really want to ship the HS with it.

How long have they been mining and what temps are they running at?

Thanks
1073  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: SOLVED - Adding GPUs reduces each cards' output, overall hashrate stays the same on: February 27, 2012, 02:37:44 PM
For the record, I'm having this exact problem.

Running a 6970 and 5870 in one box, one on the x16 slot, one on an x1 slot wire modded with an extender. Overall hashrate is around 400 when using both cards, at about 200 each. Afterburner shows that the load is fluxuating between 40/60% between the card, roughly adding up to 100%. GUI miner shows that I'm selecting Cayman for the first miner and Cypress for the second (checked and double checked). I'm using the Feb. version of GuiMiner and XP SP3, Catalyst 11.7, sdk 2.5.

I'll respond here when I figure out what's going on.
1074  Economy / Securities / Re: Red Star Mining IPO GLBSE Listing on: February 24, 2012, 09:51:25 PM
The first 'BitForce SHA256 Single' - http://www.butterflylabs.com/product-details/ - 832MH/s@80W has been paid for and ordered although delivery may take up to four to six weeks unfortunately but we can start mining as soon as its delivered and paying dividends maybe as soon as only eight days later.  Once the IPO has raised enough the second 'BitForce SHA256 Single' can be ordered and finally the company's dedicated low power PC to run the two units and any additional units the company purchases.  Thank you to everyone who has invested so far and made the first purchase possible.  I'm predicting this first unit to generate over 18BTC a month and you should receive roughly around 0.0025BTC dividend per share within ten weeks then weekly.  The dividend payment will roughly double once the funds for second unit have been raised by the IPO and it is purchased and delivered.

Is the 832 MH/s pretty standard for this unit when mining bitcoins or is it different for different applications (encryption vs mining)?
1075  Economy / Securities / Re: Red Star Mining IPO GLBSE Listing on: February 24, 2012, 04:35:53 PM
What does this mean?

Quote
The investors who get in at 0.4BTC will have to wait 54 weeks or twelve months until the profits from the dividends have paid for the 0.4BTC share purchase.

1078  Economy / Services / Re: VPS Squared - Virtual, Powerful, Supported VPSs on: February 18, 2012, 05:32:47 AM
I'm surprised this isn't selling better... it's far superior (cost wise at least) than any other bitcoin vps out there.

Bump.
1079  Economy / Services / Re: Medical Consult for Bitcoins on: February 17, 2012, 03:27:54 PM
I have doubts any service you can provide over the internet is much better than google. Maybe my background in biomed is making me overestimate the ability of people to interpret what they find though.

What if we test you first? People find the symptoms of some non-obscure medical issue online (or from memory, or some free trials), add in some history, then ask you for an advice/diagnosis.

Methinks you underestimate the benefits of medical school.

This sounds like a great idea.

Overclocking / MHas/s statistics? What do they average?

Thanks
