1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: May 30, 2020, 03:58:55 PM
Even if this fight is for the charity, I still believe to witness an intense fight between this two great fighter and a lot more fun, maybe. Smiley

If there’s a way to bet online or a not so costly ticket then I will buy, also would like to watch this one online as well, but if there’s a live venue I suggest to everyone to be careful and don’t let the covid-19 ruin you. Let’s bet and help many people at the same time! Smiley

I think it is going to get a very good response and the many tickets would be sold regarding this match. Also, so people have been missing the live sports for months now and this would also mean many are eagerly waiting for some sports to begin and witness it. So many would buy in that way only to witness it and enjoy their time.

For the charity, for sure many boxing fans will join the cause knowing that this rivalry back then is really intense. Both fighters will going to bring out eagerness to show the fans what they are capable with inside the ring, it will surely excite both old fans and those young ones who are interested to
know more in regards to this two boxing legends. Looking forward for the success of this charitable works.
1062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My 0.1 BTC Journey on: May 29, 2020, 03:52:54 PM
That's another challenging journey, so good luck. I like how you are so optimistic in the future of crypto and 1 btc is huge enough if we ever gain a massive adoption, at least you got a whole bitcoin and I think that's a good investment plan.

If you manage to succeed to saving 1 btc, what price you are willing to sell it?
That's a logical question? after achieving your journey what would be your next plan and what is your target value? are you going to continue holding just like what you've did after achieving .1btc?
Anyway, good luck with your journey and have a safe investment ahead.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: May 29, 2020, 02:44:31 PM
Now bounty managers and ICO team value more money than anytime before. Few years ago there wasn´t problem to giveaway 1 million usd to bounty promoters, but now the situation changed, they care about every dollar.
Before there are many people who are interested in investing even those who participated with their bounties are also putting money to invest and entrust their money. Nowadays there are only few people who are investing and for that developers and bounty managers are concern with how they will collect more interest from investors to help them with their projects, it will be hard for them to limit as they are aiming for more exposures.
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do buybacks increase the value of a cryptocurrency? on: May 28, 2020, 02:07:48 AM
Buybacks is definitely helpful when it comes to a project especially, it can maintain the price and also demand will go up as the team got the holdings however there is still risk, you will never know if they are the one who is doing the dumps to acquire all or maybe, doing pumps so they could sell theirs. That's the problem unless they will be transparent in doing it.
That's right, buybacks if not being transparent can also harmed the potential of the said project as chances that the team itself can ruined the entire valuation of their own project. Though if the team is transparent and they are really aiming for the best of their creation it can also lift the future as burning those said buybacks will cut the numbers of existing volumes of the coins.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Underground Casinos Is it Happening? on: May 23, 2020, 03:30:16 PM
Casinos can't keep up with the current situation, they must make a profit even at this pandemic, do you think it's possible that some gambling casinos are already into underground casinos, where they only allow their old and trusted clients to play in a place that they provided, could be a mansion or a secluded building, but of course, they will guaranty all the necessary preactions to make their venue safe for their clients.

There's also a possibility that some governments will allow it because some casinos are being run by the government or they have a big cut in the revenues.
Do you think it's happening right now or do you know of one in your city?
I am not really sure if there casinos that existed underground. Maybe it is not possible in our area since the government have no funds for it. All I knew is that gamblers are unstoppable even though it is quarantine period. They can really find ways to keep playing. I do not know if they are just bored or what. They do not need casinos to play. They can play everywhere.
Indeed, heavy gamers will find ways to continue gambling, though it's not easy to say if the government will allow this since there's ongoing lockdown, risking people for the sake of revenue  not impossible but for sure it will be very discreet in order to facilitate without any issues.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 19, 2020, 08:57:39 AM
Yeah, I agreed there's just 1% possibility that he would come back and play Basketball again.

This is too low, you guys really think he can't make it because you are just giving him 1% chance? lol...

Guys, Lutz was a great player, he was just sidelined because he was injured, but when he thinks he is healthy now, then I guess he can play.
Though he wasn't active anymore but his love for basketball will make him come back, and if ever he won't make it in the PBA, I'm sure he will be given a chance in other league in the Philippines like the MPBL.

Manny is waiting.  Grin
Correct, This guy have skills and talents to showcase, in-case PBA have no space for him there's still MPBL that can cater him and give him the chance to play back and share his skills.
If he feels that he already in good shape then it's time for him to playback and sign a new contract, whatever league it is as long as he can play the game for sure he will be good for it.

1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 18, 2020, 01:53:41 PM
I personally feel like basketball talent has this subjective part that you could both agree to disagree but also has a level where its stupid. When you say something like Gary Payton was a better player at his peak than Lebron at his peak, thats stupid, thats not subjective in my eye and that's biased, however if you say Mj is better than Lebron or say Lebron is better than MJ that is understandable, you do not have to agree with that person but you could understand why they think that way.

So if you know the level, if you know the small gap between these players, you would understand why one seen above the other. Do not say stuff like I would take Brad Miller over Shaq Cheesy. But you could say I would take Kobe over Lebron, its those type of things that make the arguments fun as well.
If you know the gap and understand the levels of skills and IQ inside the court you'll be able to give your opinion according to how you see who has the advantage, though there's no need to agree or to argue since it's your personal choice.
Opinions which is based to how you see players and what   their contributions and how they've dominates the league, always depend to your own assessment.
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 17, 2020, 02:28:20 PM
Guys, this is a very objective article about LeBron James.
We must not forget that Lebron is considered the second most important in the history of basketball.

Do you have  a basis on this? You are aware that you are talking about the history of basketball, right?

who's the most important then?
The basis is just on that post and that's through that article's analysis.

The article was made of John Schuhmann so that's how he looked upon to Lebron.
That's opinion based and most of the people will react from how this analysis bring the weight. There are always different reactions and those who lived much earlier that the current era will not agree to that, MJ still on the top but there are lots of individuals who are also important from different perspectives.
Kobe who plays like MJ, shag who dominates inside, Magic and Bird who really make the history of good rivalry.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling issues? Read this! on: May 17, 2020, 01:40:42 PM
Good thing there is Gambling help online to your references. Most of the gamblers will be glad to consider this if they are having an issue in controling theirselves in gambling. Being addicted into gambling where in it isn't healthy anymore should be minimize and shall be fix by seeking some help from professional.

Still grateful that I can still control myself being addicted to gambling. I believe it's in the mindset of a player. But thanks OP for reminding and giving some sources, this will be a good step for those who are losing their track to life because of gambling.
Correct, it's the gambler who can contained this and can truly cured itself but if there's heavy addictions which already present the help of those medical practitioners will give them a good chance to realized this problem, if they are really after to help themselves to remove it from their mindsets it will be easier with proper guidance coming from doctors and psychiatrist.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins are 👎👎👎 on: May 17, 2020, 09:20:41 AM
Extra care needs to taken when choosing new coins to invest your hard earned money on, some are just something that won't work out, you need to consider new altcoins use case, because most have unrealistic use case that are just not going to work.
Most of the time investors of new coins only after with the quick hype then after earning they'll go and find a new one, there's only few investors who are really aiming to support projects since lots of those who newly introduce are fakes and only trying to scam investors money. Much better to invest with old ones that already proven contribution to this industry.
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this what's preventing wide-spread adoption? on: May 17, 2020, 06:20:41 AM
Besides Anonymity, I think the major reason is not been regulated, government and business parastatals are all about regulations and control which this space do not possess, even though being anonymous and not able to have the identity of who is or are behind a project is part of the reason, not regulated is also another reason, and from my on opinion this would be a major set back, it won't be easy to form a business in an unregulated environment, there will be a lot of problems as a result.
Most of the business tycoon always wanted to have clear deal, if they don't know who are they dealing with then it won't be easy to convince them. Same thing with adopting this system, if there's no clear explanations how things works then it will be harder for more businesses to established this system being used and be  adopt from their everyday transactions.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: May 17, 2020, 05:21:58 AM
I'm not really that good in  card games but I find excitement in chance games like dice and minesweeper and roulette I always like to try my luck
sometimes I win sometimes I lose but on both occasions, I am very excited to play the game, there's an adrenaline rush involved.
Keep that adrenaline rush controllable. Knowing that inside gambling activities chances of getting addicted is really high, play and enjoy then quit once you are satisfied for the day, don't allow yourself being attached that much since it can bring you to high addiction and damage your financial savings.
Both sides of games are enjoyable to people who understand how gambling works.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New exchanges worth my money???? on: May 16, 2020, 02:50:58 PM
Every day in the cryptocurrency, new trend, new craze pop up but I think the exchange token was the big thing of the last-gen. The exchange competitive scene kinda oversaturated that I doubt any more new exchange token could make a break even out of BNB, OKEX and Huobi token.

Yes, I also doubt that the new exchange tokens can make an impact point with BNB, OKEX and Huobi tokens, because the three exchange tokens are already very popular in the cryptocurrency space, so that the three of them are preferred by many people, rather than tokens from the new exchange.
Those exchange already established good business with traders and investors, if there's no project that will introduced same concepts it won't be affected since there are already people who are supporting this sites / exchange and if ever some might go and try the service of new exchange probably they'll be back once they've not getting any offers that gives them advantage.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 16, 2020, 09:51:08 AM
Coach Tab knows how to balance his players he can now pick the best one and trained them back, He already have knowledge with players that can be competitive and knows to play internationally, it's not hard for him to call those deserving players to play again and regroup, only those who are retired and already aging that's needed to be replaced and we all know that there are lots of new players who can fill in.

I'm not expecting much from coach Tab when he take over the Gilas head coaching job. We might be disappointed because however beautiful his system is but he don't have the kind of player suitable for this, then it's useless. But if in 2023 he could get the likes of Kai Sotto, Jalen Green, Jordan Ckarkson, Remy Martin and AJ Edu this could be huge to Philippine basketball.
True, those Players are ready to compete internationally and if they are willing to represent our country just like Clarkson, combination of good system plus competitive players. Those mentioned names plus our locals who are also capable to represent our country.
He can combined new and old gilas then add fresh legs that also fits his system.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a professional gambler on your own way. on: May 16, 2020, 09:22:01 AM
Its not easy to make gambling as your main source of income to earn decent money. No matter how good you are losing is inevitable even you call yourself a professional.

I think to have an edge as a gambler and be like a pro, having my own strategy and experience can help me to win in a particular game especially in sports bet. Gambling is risky but there's a way to somehow increase the chance to win and that is by learning about the game before playing and build your own strategy.
It takes time but it's possible to developed a good strategy that will help you earned from this venue of activities. It's true that losing is inevitable it's part of this business and even you are good, in some ways shit will happen to you.
Learning each strategy and find what's suits to the type of gambler like you will allow you to have an advantage. Having good control with your emotion and good management of your capital.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why we trust binance exchange? on: May 15, 2020, 04:17:23 PM
There is no hesitation to say that Binance is the crypto leader exchange and it is the most secured exchange ever. I haven't seen such security in other exchanges like Binance. There are high volume in BTC or altcoins. They are doing many improvemental activities for the crypto expansion that we have seen recently in Africa. Binance launchpad is the most attractive to the investors now.
Binance launchpad really attracts more investors, each time they've open an ieo lots of traders and investors are willing to participates, more people are trusting this exchange as they've already established reputation and with how they've handled customers and each hacked that's been take place they've provide security for the traders assets.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Betting this June? on: May 15, 2020, 01:27:50 PM
How about we take a god damn break from sports or any other event that can worsen the pandemic for just a little while, and work on ourselves instead?

If the government does not need to balance the economy, we can just all stay at our home and just rely from the support of the government, however, that seems to be unrealistic if we expect that to happen, there is no assurance when this pandemic will stop and therefore these businesses that was affected will get bankrupt if they will not operate again, for me, there is nothing wrong to operate again as long as they do the right measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
Right, as long as there's safety measures and everything will be followed strictly under the government jurisdiction, this plan fight may proceed, there are fans and gamblers who are waiting for this and for sure Bob Arum knew the potentials of getting huge amounts of money coming from those gamblers who are waiting for this to take place.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 15, 2020, 11:10:35 AM
I am surprise that LBJ got a better percent on the 3 point line, I thought he is not a good shooter though.

But those stats of Kobe and Jordan are the stats of the legit greats in NBA, it only says that they are good in attacking the paint, do jump shots and not relying much in 3 point shooting. They are athletic and they uses that to contribute to their respective team .

If I will to rank not basing on the stats but only based on what I see them playing during that time, I'd say Kobe is very close to Jordan..
Lebron, nahh...
Kobe imitates MJ and he really did a very good job. He's next to the GOAT from how he played this game, he proved that he really deserved everything
that he achieved, also not being biased I go with Kobe next in line with MJ. They are both wanted the ball in the most crucial seconds of the game.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 15, 2020, 10:35:06 AM

last time, coach yeng were not able to handle the team as what people are expected, so the love was lost.

I was also disappointed the last time, looks like the Gilas team was not compose by the best players in the PBA, so I wasn't so excited to watch them play.
With coach Tab, I am sure there is going to be an improvement, better result than the last time for sure, and I think the suspension for our Gilas players was already over, so the Gilas coaching staff will be able to pick the best players in the PBA to represent the country again.
