Okay, well, for those of you who *don't* want this coin to die, I suggest removing all your low sell orders.
a few people want to kill this coin look at poloniex its half a 1sat  Embarrassed

I hope it's someone trying to kill it, but I'm more convinced a whale realized that this coin wasn't going to get promoted and dumped while he could.
Maybe, but this is worst moment to do that.
Why some one, who want to make money here, want to sell that low and that moment.
Any way, it's same to me. I'll buy.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - Mandatory wallet update! on: March 12, 2014, 07:05:14 AM
It was big dump about 1% coins.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] alcurEX Cryptocurrency Exchange on: March 12, 2014, 06:41:36 AM
Wow the price of Alcurex is skyrocketing!! I agree.. let us be smart when adding coin. You don't want people to come to our exchange and have analysis paralysis.

Some people still don't know what are good coins and want to avoid pump and dump coins. They don't need to be confused, they just need to go to our exchange and find only the good coins.

did you end up selling your 500 shares for 0.0011 ?? lol Grin for those that cried no fair, even when this has been listed for over 1 month.

Kinda makes me wish I had more to invest to start off with, guess I hope MRC takes same projectory as i have invested all my btc in both.

not really.. the person who cried never got one. I think its in the personality. I tried to sell it to him for 0.0011 500 shares but he keeps saying his order is in 0.001. So not to him.. sold some to some people who showed support since the beginning that actually missed it.

Still have some 1275 Shares... extra...  i still don't know what to do.

Why don't just keep it.
There is no many registered altcoin company's selling shares.
But glad to hear you are not greedy Smiley

If there really is some one who try to kill this coin, they know it have to happen now, because when blockreward is 1000 it is not possible to mine & dump coins any more.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - Mandatory wallet update! on: March 12, 2014, 06:25:19 AM

Don't understand language, but yes, product are cute. Cheesy
microCoin is good choice for payment, and near future you can link payment direct to the alcurEX account and you can set price is calculated using usd/micro rate.

Sound very promising. I wonder if there is any MRC and alcurEX dev to confirm that point, I really need more help to set it up.
It is one of the main service on the future. Of course you will get all plugins, help and instructions when it's ready.

1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - Mandatory wallet update! on: March 11, 2014, 10:39:42 AM
I think all promotion is good for coin.
If you have plan to do something, I will support you if I can.

I have an idea, to open a website which sells small but cute souvenir, and people can pay by BTC/LTC and MRC. I will set the price somehow so the option using MRC to pay will look clearly better than using BTC/LTC. For example, you will need only 100K MRC but 0.005 BTC (x2 price according to the current exchange rate) to buy this "delicious" USB: http://www.qualuuniem.vn/qua-tang-cong-nghe/547-usb-hinh-kimpap.html.

Logistic and shipping I could handle well since I've had experience with online shop before.

More exchanges, more services, more liquidity => the price will definitely raise up.

Please give your opinions. I really appreciate that.

I mined since the begging and seen when it hit poloniex the price was actually at .00000400-.00000500ltc now it is .00000059ltc... I have to say that im kind of disappointed that the block rewards inflated to 160k but this is still my favorite coin and im sticking by it.

Well, there is a good reason for this - the coin hasn't been promoted yet.
The dev team is not insterested - hopefully they are busy with Alcurex. And since everybody here is convinced that devs are not holding a big amount of coins - why would they promote it?

And this brings this issue to us, miners.
Seems like we are on our own with promotion (or we can stop complaining and wait and hope that devs will promote it after Alcurex is launched. If it's launched).

Why don't we all ask the devs to uncover their plans and schedule?
Why don't we ask them to make some press-release on the MRC-related projects?
And I personaly would love to see a beta version of Alcurex.
There are few shareholders among us, please join me by asking devs too.

And while we are waiting for some details, lets not forget to vote at http://www.reddit.com/r/CoinedUp/comments/1xbqp0/please_add_mrc_to_your_exchange/?sort=new.

Thank you.

Actually micro is only coin I hold. Even my BTC I put safe in USD.

Edit: Of course micro is risky business like all coins, but is there any other coins, offer change to be great backholder, after two months?

I have a funny feeling about all this MRC and AlcurEX...

Huge dumps before release ? Sounds like Dev dumps...

Devs aren't the biggest holders of microCoin they didn't have a lot of hashing power and probably got most of their Microcoin by donation and buying. Most of the whales that started dumping mrc came in at around 100-120k block rewards. Devs made a huge mistake by even letting rewards go that high. 50k/block should have been the most and even that is to much in my opinion.

I want to make a vote that the devs drop the block reward to 1000 already we have enough in circulation

I agree Smiley

+1

That's a terrible idea.  What faith do people have in the coin if the entire premise behind the block reward is suddenly abandoned?  I agree the reward structure is flawed, but that's one of the fundamental things you should not change about a coin once it's in place.
I dont even see any reason why we should change reward.
I buy and mining now. Reward is good and price is low. Look marketcap.
If some one don't trust micro, then it's better to sell... I will buy it Smiley

I don't think it's the devs, but something is definitely going on.  Price has been right at 2-4 sat for weeks, now all of a sudden it's dropped to 1 right as the alcurex IPO ends??  I think either people were waiting to see how alcurex did with the IPO and it didn't do as good as they hoped and are now dumping their MRC, OR it did really well and they're trying to drive down the price so they can buy up a ton of MRC cheap.  I'm really hoping its the latter, but...
Dev holding only ~2%, so it is not dev. (And there is no any reason for dev to do that)
I think it was just normal cash out from small whales.

But if we continue sell low, there will be huge pump after.
For me it is same, because I just holding my coins and I don't believe this coin die so easy.
For miners, this price is little lower than mining LTC, but if you believe the price will be even 3 satoshi, You will make much better profit with micro.
I still expect 10X short time and 100X long term (because block reward) and 1000X if alcurEX success to offer microCoin only creditcards, paymentservices and USD markets.
But it's just my thinks.

I agree with this, the distribution is fair but the reward structure can kill the coin before getting momentum. Also whales are dumping now as expected now the reward has reached its top. There are also no real dumps on 1 sat (yet?), it are small sells and i intend to think these are miners that 1) dont check the community 2) need some fast BTC 3) whales faking price drops.

Also, i did a background check on alcurex / microcoin and one of the founders looks like a trusthworty guy to me with his personal details published on the net.

Most important step in the next weeks is a massive marketing campaign for alcurex (the leverage on alt coins is imho their best selling point) and mrc as transmitter for their services.

If we do lower it to 1000 now we will suffer the same accusations about instamining (and surely premining) as QRK is still does. I do not think it is unfair or anything like that, but the majority of people might.
Agree. Of course we can't manipulate blockrewards.
Only reason why do that is, if there is some error and need to fix it.

Am I obliged to leave my shares on the exchange? Is it considered safe?
Agree. We need more safe place our shares on future. I mean this company may be life a long time and there must be sharelist on more safe place.
