Is there any chance that BW's new exchange would allow for direct fiat to UNO purchases?
Or, should we solicit such an item from a small exchange like coinbroker.io?
Both scenarios are mutually beneficial to the parties...

Just added [Suspicious link removed] to the OP.
If you know of any other pools that should be on the list (or dead pools that should be removed), LMK.
It's not just a resource for miners, but also a contact list should we need to get in contact with miners.
Just sent the below email to info@coin-pool.org: [subject: The UNO pool is down]
I had been getting 1-2 UNOs regularly every day from uno.coin-pool.org dumped into my wallet. Then inexplicably it skipped Sept. 18th. I then got ONE on the 19th. Since then, nothing.
And I just noticed my 2 Antminers are reporting that "stratum+tcp://uno.coin-pool.org:3331" is "Dead".
My UNO address is
uPh3mybL1wrguTAuqBbbU3c5fvxcsMRE9Y
Any advice?
Thanks,
Jelks
I mine there as well and didn't notice. Thanks for the heads up. The UNO page does not work, but the main page coin-pool.org is still active. Did you hear anything from them?

It's never a bad strategy to buy UNO!

It's a long shot, but shooting a lot is how we eventually hit the target. I don't see why UNO shouldn't have a strong partner in the Chinese market. If you have a Twitter account, would you send BTC China tweet in favor of $UNO? If nothing else it builds awareness. Click the image to go directly to their tweet. It's been a very good couple of weeks for $UNO. After a long standoff between buyers and sellers, it broke out to the upside and the gap started to close when buyers flinched. It's good to see $UNO back in familiar territory on Coinmarketcap.com Move over AppleCoin, you're in our spot. Sent tweet, got favorited ... Highlighted that it's a great savings tool

"So, five stars is 'no qualms about a trade of 500 UNO or a couple of 10-oz bars of silver' Four stars is '250 UNO or equivalent' Three stars is, say, '100 UNO or equivalent in silver' Two stars is, say, '25 Uno or an ounce of silver' One star is 'has made at least one trade''
2nd Edit: two-and-seven-eighths stars? (and a gold star for your forehead)
I am not in charge.

LMAO, glad it made it! 2.5, 2.33337658, 3.0173 Any rating is fine. I will always honor and fulfill any trade that I am party to. Glad to be part of the UNO madness with all of you. What a great community!

Great idea about BW. Is there anyway to setup and "UNO in the News" tab on the UNO website? This article and any others that are written could be posted there.
Then we could tweet articles linking back to the website and get more traffic there as well...just a thought.
|
|
|
Great article! Is it posted anywhere online besides BTC Talk so that we can tweet the link?

BitcoinNational beat me to the underwriting principle, but I would have just used the unsophisticated term 'insurance'.
Another great idea with that trust chain model! Good job!
I would also imagine that period of time over which a trader has traded in the group should be considered as well as volume and relationships. A person could arrive, conduct numerous trades in a short period of time and then possibly conduct a large trade and bug out shysting the other party?

Yah, the video. I'm. Ummm . . . .
okay
m
Please note, I wasn't endorsing the format, nor the actor, nor the vibe of the video. Just that that individual had produced a video, which is certainly more than I am capable of doing. Perhaps if he / she / it is still around, they could be willing to assist...I know that you're looking for a more serious tone...

No. I can't give me a second star 'cause I am not in charge. Protocol by consensus!
[But soon? Mu ha ha ha! A scarlet uniform with gold braid, and a pointy hat with emu feathers, and a leopard on a leash, and a carriage drawn by forty-four white horses.]
Mark, what happened with USPS is my local postal employee made me send the AG certified mail which requires the recipient to personally sign for the article. Unfortunately, vector was not around at delivery time and then the local post had misplaced the item. Typical of a government agency. In the future, I will refuse to send that way. Fortunately, in my trader with Sirsmokesalot, Priority Mail was the method and there were no issues whatsoever. I believe that I am on the cusp of the first AU deal and will provide shipping details after the trade is completed. Cheers!

Unfortunately, I'm no help on the video production, but... Does anyone remember in the early days of UNO (10 months ago ) when there was a video on the Internet with a German guy acting crazy and talking up UNO? Obviously not the approach you are looking for for the Blue Crypto Award, but the video was well-produced and catchy. Perhaps that group might be willing to help out?

Today I hold in my hand the first ounce of silver to be transacted publicly for Unobtanium.
Thanks BitcoinCharlie!!
Glad to be a part of it with you! Again, sorry that the USPS tried to stop history from being made!

Trade WS 001 complete
And don't forget that only you guys can recommend me for a second star.
m
Can't you just give yourself another star or two, since you are in charge? LOL +1

Now, does anyone have gold for trade? Not a lot of it or anything, couple hundo worth maybe?
Also, do i get a trust rating now since i have made a trade?
What are you looking for in terms of AU? It depends on the weights of the pieces available. If there are any in the 100 ish range, two of those. I can do a 2014 sealed 50 Yuan Gold Panda. It is 1/10th troy ounce AU. It will run 86 UNO. I cannot ship it until this Friday (two days from now), however. Please PM me if interested.

Mark,
Have you had any interest in Aussie bullion trades for UNO?

I believe that I have a 1/10 AU panda that I could let go. It's a sealed coin and Pandas are sought after, so it would command a bit of a premium. If you're not scared off by that and serious, PM me and I'll send you how much UNO would be required. Would be pretty sweet to have done the first AG deal and the first AU deal on the exchange!
