1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: October 10, 2023, 09:29:05 AM
How will you feel if someone you know or just a friend of a friend walk up to you and ask you to finance them in gambling in exchange for a portion of their winnings? Does this even make any sense?

It doesn't make sense to me and I will turn it down right away, gamblers who do that are gamblers who cannot keep up with their gambling they have to find people to fund their addiction and I will not be the party to contribute to his addiction.

Quote
Because the only place this makes a bit sense is the skills base niche like forex trading or crypto trading, how can gambling/gambler be financed?

I will also decline trading unless the guy shows me his trading history and he has a good percentage of course because of the nature of trading I will ask for collateral.

Quote
Have you heard of such before? What is the end result if you have?
You'll eventually throw your money away if there's no collateral involved

Quote
Why would you trust anyone to gamble better than you can when it's all about luck?
If it is sports betting and he is good at this why not of course with collateral

Quote
Is anyone doing this on here?
It's possible some of those who asked for loans but I'm sure they will not admit it.

Quote
Someone explained this to me, and I believe he is already a victim because to me it doesn't make sense, I believe he is been used because he lacks knowledge about gambling, do you think my judgment is wrong?
The bottom line is don't feed his hunger to gamble let him spend his own money and advise him to gamble money that he can afford to lose.
1082  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free - Crypto Casino Script Plinko + Crash Full Installation Document on: October 09, 2023, 11:50:44 PM
swaga, I'm going through your discussions now and I noticed one thing. Sometimes you claim that it is your software, your code, but later you say that it was a code from Phoenix gambling. Also, you get it from a developer or download it for free. Will you make a final decision about your status according to this script?

I do have proof and I'll post if right after you tell me who owns the rights to the original code.

I've been in casino source code community for 3+ years and i know what im talking about. The code is not under any licences.

Name, last name, address, country or in any other order you wish.

Do you have proof that you have a license to resell that script? (Remember, you yourself wrote earlier that Phoenix as owner sells that script full of bugs)
Here's what they say about anyone who presents themselves as a reseller or tries to sell their software https://phoenix-gambling.com/beware

I'm also having a hard time figuring out everything, he claims he is the developer and accuses one of reselling his script now he posted this
Quote
The code is not under any licences.
If there's no license then it is free distribution, when you claim to own a script then you should be the creator or you have a license for it coming from the original creator, everything emanates from the original creator if you have no deal with the original creator it's not yours or you modified it and claim it as yours.
swaga, if he knows what he is talking about, should present his position once and for all to settle this, by telling us the complete history of the script from the start.
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: October 09, 2023, 11:29:53 PM

I also lost money because I lost on gambling, but maybe not that much. But I know there are people who spend a lot of money for gambling. In your opinion, what should we do if we have lost a lot of money on gambling? Do we keep gambling to win so we can cover up previous losses? or stop and work normally and leave gambling? Or do you have other suggestions?

If you want to go on having fun in exchange for losing more it's your choice to go on or stop playing, people after losing huge money cannot stop playing because the adrenaline is too high to stop playing, this has been our problem we want to stop but we're losing control because there's a big part of you that want to go and you are not fully satisfied.
The hardest thing in gambling is getting satisfied it's not really chasing the loss but having a hard time controlling the adrenaline and that fuels the desire to go on, people think that they will feel lucky if they move, but it is wrong it really the adrenaline pushing you to play.
1084  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LATOKEN and CoinW - Two Exchanges I Have Had Bad Experiences Using on: October 09, 2023, 10:47:36 PM
So what's the point of creating this thread if there are no details provided, you can do it subtly by giving details without dwelling on the full detail.

I don't think your experience is unique for you not to give us something that will back up your post, if you are asking members to post their experiences you should first give even a small details since you are the one who creates this thread.
1085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In Case of Global Conflict, Is BTC The Best Alternative? on: October 09, 2023, 09:36:45 PM

Now, in the face of a global chaos, do you think holding on to Bitcoin is a good idea to protect our assets? Will it be acting like gold which can be so valuable during war?

Yes, it is one example is the war between Ukraine and Russia I read one story where one Ukrainian sold all his assets and converted them to Bitcoin now he's waiting for the war to be over and while waiting his assets are growing, but in times of war in your country you need to protect your passphrase and its much better than carrying gold or cash because, in times of war, looting is very prevalent.

Also in times of war, your safety is more important than any of your assets, protect yourself first and if the war ends you have also protected your Bitcoin, there's a lot of uncertainty in times of war and there's no guarantee of how and when the war will end do your main priority in times of war is your safety and your love ones, they are the most valuable assets.

1086  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free - Crypto Casino Script Plinko + Crash Full Installation Document on: October 09, 2023, 09:07:50 PM
There are so many accusations being thrown but so far I have not seen any proof to back up these accusations

As we bought from one guy, he toke money and never install that script/service.
We decide to share to public, including installation document.

You can ask for a refund if part of the terms is they are going to install the script or there is support for a specific time, you never resell a script you bought especially here in Bitcointalk you're going to get a tag for reselling without permission.

You got the source code, 3 updates and 1 installation.
You then reset your server for no reason and wanted 2nd installation -> you wanted this because you wanted to resell the code. (because crash and slots were added so you wanted a new version to resell)

Here's the proof of your vouch on my discord server: https://i.imgur.com/Ff3qABg.png

Are there any more screenshots like a conversation to back up your claim, if you really did an installation then you did your job, and OP is wrong here for reselling or giving the code free.
1087  Other / Meta / Re: Should Merit-Sources use feelings when giving out Merit? on: October 09, 2023, 03:27:03 PM

Example: Two users are posting very good posts and both deserve merit, should the merit-source give both merit? In my opinion yes! But what if he dislike one and like the other one?
I mean that their actions should not be controlled by feelings, it should be controlled by fact and their opinions if the post is worthy or not, but not because they are friend or enemy with someone.
Merit is subjective and we have no control over the feelings of the merit sources, it is no use questioning them if one merit source doesn't like you, you can always get merits from other sources and members as long as you maintain the quality of your posts but it's better to have at peace with everybody here, you never know the one you have a quarrel with will be the next merit source.

Anyway, its not a big deal. I just thinking about it before I slept yesterday. Cheers buddie.

Cheers to you too it's a good topic and I'm sure you can think of more good topics

1090  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Si Satoshi Nakamoto nga ba ito? on: October 09, 2023, 10:16:09 AM

1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tszyu vs. Mendoza Confirmed for WBO Title Showdown on October 15th on: October 08, 2023, 11:20:16 PM

It's official, we've got a big fight coming up this month. Tim Tszyu currently boasts a clean record with 23 wins (17 by KO). Do you think Mendoza is strong enough to beat the current champion?

I remember Brian knocking out Fundora he exposed Fundora in that fight, Fundora was a nightmare to all his opponents 6 foot 6, with a very long reach, power puncher he was a promising star and on his way to greatness until Brian stopped the train and put the light out of him, if Brian can do this to Fundora why not on Tszyu.

I'm sure Tszyu knows what Mendoza is capable of doing in the ring so he should go fully prepared, this is going to be a slugfest as both fighters love to move forward and don't care to get it hit as long as they can get a hit, I've bookmarked the date I have this 50/50 but Tszyu has a slight advantage.
1093  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Your Crypto Safety Net: Reliable Research for Worry-Free Investments on: October 08, 2023, 09:19:30 PM
If you're a whale who likes to invest in new projects and $7 a month is peanut for you then this is the kind of service that you could use, it's better to offer a free vouch although not obligatory for people to see how good your service is,

In my opinion, 7 projects in your $7 plan, are very manageable even if we don't use this platform we can still manage to see the development and warning signs of projects if investors know the basics of how to look at the project.
1094  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Petition to investigate Freewallet org scam on: October 08, 2023, 08:51:28 PM
We keep working to bring fraudsters to justice. Unfortunately, Freewallet owners are trying their best to prevent this. Another fake complaint from them resulted in another domain being blocked, https://freewalletreviews.org/

If this wallet worked honestly, they would easily refute all the accusations we published. For example, we would show screenshots confirming the return of money to all those people whose complaints we publish. But the scammers have taken a different route; they are trying to hide materials that incriminate them. It’s a stupid attempt, because there are more and more such reviews anyway.

Are you the owner of this website based on Whois it is registered and hosted in Russia
https://www.whois.com/whois/freewalletreviews.org Why not transfer both the domain and the host outside of Russia as you mentioned one of its owners comes from Russia one of the owners may have cast his influence to block the domain you can try Namecheap or Name.com if you can I'm sure you have a backup of the site.
1095  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice on getting merits on: October 08, 2023, 04:14:23 PM
I know that there are some ways to earn it like being active in your local board, engaging in the gambling threads talking about particular sports, create an informational thread, or have some deep knowledge about bitcoin's technical like block size, hash rate, etc. And that's my concern, I am not good with any of those stuffs. I am not a sports enthusiasts nor good in bitcoin technical. Our local board is not that active also compared to others where I see some members' their main merit source.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking my time to read my post. Cheers!  Smiley

This is a bad alibi it just means you don't want to improve and you want the easy way, if you want merits you have to brand yourself by learning these things there is no shortcut to this,  these new members you've seen with a lot of merits worked their way and contributed, you cannot be an exception, you already know how to get merits so work on your posting style and habit.
Based on your post history you are a Filipino we have a thread about merit there how come you missed it or you are not interested?

1096  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is this a scam!! Help on: October 08, 2023, 03:47:03 PM
My friend signed up on https://www.profxonlinetrading.com/index.html
She invested $500 worth of bitcoin and got $3000 back in a few days. They waived her fee so she did cash out. She put another 2k in and got 5k. Fees waived again. So she will reinvest .

I signed up and invested $500. They said that first time they will waive my fee but will have to pay 20% withdrawal fee out of pocket to get my funds

BUT https://concextrades.com/ does the same thing. They charge 10% fee but deducts from your profit. That sounds more legit. But is it still a scam or are these real

There are 3 scammers I see here:

1. The 1st website you linked.
2. The 2nd website you linked.
3. You.

We have the same guess or fact, OP is promoting a Ponzi scheme and pretending that he is asking, he even denied and deleted the link we have seen this method so many times asking but actually promoting a Ponzi or MLM, they know that by just posting with all the plans they will received bad feedback so they make it a subtle approach but its not going to work here  Cheesy

1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: David Benavidez Vs Demetrius Andrade Interim WBC Super Middleweight title fight on: October 08, 2023, 11:54:27 AM
By the way, the undercard of this fight will also feature a must-see fight

Jermall Charlo will meet Jose Benavidez in the middleweight division this is Jermall Charlo's first fight after 2 years and five months, Jermall should be the one fighting Canelo but has to give way to his twin brother who eventually loses to Canelo, let's see if Jermall still has it after 2 years of inactivity, I still consider Jermall the heavy favorite in this match up.

Probably one of the best e-book I've stumble and is surprisingly free the chronological is well organized, and it brings back the best memory of when Bitcoin was being developed and promoted while reading I was wondering where was I during those times I'm sure some of us here wish that they have stumbled Bitcoin on its earlier stage.
The community owes you for compiling and creating this, this is not easy I just cannot imagine the hours you've spent.

Wouldn't it make sense? https://www.presearch.io/ can't be worst than the current engine...

Why Presearch when there is an existing one that is dedicated to Bitcointalk which is https://ninjastic.space/search, how reliable is Presearch compared to other search engines, people who installed it just use it to accumulate Pre which is a native token of Presearch but when it comes to reliability on every online term or Keywords it's still Google, and https://ninjastic.space/search for everything related to Bitcointalk
