1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I can’t cope on my own. What do you think I should do? on: August 23, 2023, 06:29:49 PM
~snip~

According to the channel free games are limited and we can only enjoy for a month and now the month is almost over and only VIPs will be entitled to games when the month elapses. I have been having doubts whether to join the VIP zone because I don’t want to be scammed that’s why i want to know your opinions.

What do you all think i should do?
What do you think?
You have already mentioned it; you're afraid to get scammed and you're also losing in sportsbetting with your own analysis. No one wins without losing. If you really think you are having a bad experience in sportsbetting then why don't you stop then? You're still here 'coz you want something then you should be pushing yourelf to achieve that. You have a choice whether to try risking a few amount for that VIP and see it for yourself or improve your analysis and bet on your own or to simply quit on sports betting and move to other gambling game. Sometimes the answer to our question is obvious and we just tend to not mind it 'coz we are looking for an answer from other people. Do what you think would work on your end and don't rely with other's opinion.
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Stay Safe and Avoid Scams When Gambling Online on: August 23, 2023, 05:47:09 PM
If it is too good to be true, then avoid it. I've been gambling in this industry for years and so far, this saved me from fraudlent platforms. All gambling sites could offer different games, huge amounts of bonuses and rewards but why are they gauging and hesitating from doing so? 'coz it could be a loss on their end especially if players could abuse the system by any chance. There's no such thing as an easy way to be rich; either you invest and earn or by luck. We should all be cautious of our actions. There are many new gambling sites in each week but if you're seeking for assurance, then engage to reputable ones of this industry.

I don't see why you could avoid scams by signing up only to the Bitcoin casino with an email address. You still can be scammed by a scam BTC casino out there because the crypto casinos these days are asking KYC as well.

What you need to do to stay safe is to sign up only to the trusted Bitcoin casino. The famous ones have been operating the business for a long time because this for sure is not gonna close shops because of your $1M.
As lomg as you won't be dumb enough to put everything in it, you'll be safe if it is informtion being concerned of. There's no way to tell a platform would be an absolute scam unless something bad happens to atleast one of the player's money so be cautious.
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 23, 2023, 05:06:15 PM
At all times, it is better to just comply than to make standards on our own. We are only users of a platform nd we should respect their rules as for their mnagement. In these instances KYC is creating a struggle, they'd be vocal of the issue in order for you to receive your money. It'll just be taking some time especially if there are issues under your account. So far I have never struggled with KYC procedures. With regards to verifying your account first before making a deposit should be a given action especially if you read their rules. You'd earn nothing if ever  you'd be against complying on their terms. Let us just be preventive as well.
This happened to me before when I was a beginner in gambling with the first casino that I have played with. I focused on winning and enjoying the entire site as well as all their featured games.
Unfortunately, upon withdrawal, they asked for KYC which really surprised me as a newbie. They were askng for IDs and documents that I couldn't provide that time. So I ended up having my funds on hold which is really frustrating.
I realized that it is better to pass rhe KYC first before aiming for good wins because our profit would be nothing if we couldn't process it due to failed KYCs.
I think reading the TOS first before the deposit, would be a better approach on such situations. What if they have other rules which would go against your expectations? There are many gambling sites to choose from and s players we are all free to choose on our own depending on our capabilities of compliance. We couldn't make them adjust for us.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Personal favorite on: August 23, 2023, 04:27:54 PM
I've had the best luck, the fastest withdrawal and deposits from https://www.bitcoincasino.us/ they do require a 3x wager of amount deposit but the cash out immediately. What do any of you think?
The site is having bad reviews. Actually I'm not really familiar with it but as others have mentioned it is not having a good stand to many players. I hope this is not for promotional concerns 'coz you'd be dragging players into something which would put their money at risk.

More than three users have confirmed that they are experiencing the seam issue meanwhile none of them are located in UK, meaning either the site is having issues filtering ip address or it’s just a shitty website.

And if you take a look at the post history of the op, I think that there’s a hidden motive behind him posting this casino’s link here in the forum. Because if you check all his posts were made in the lending board with him seeking for loans which is a sign of a scammer and all of a sudden he comes to the gambling board testifying that he was able to withdraw from a site that has a low rating, that’s a big fat red flag if you ask me.

Looks like OP has been trying his luck on the lending board. I would say he might have come up with this casino and is trying to scam gamblers. I mean why on earth a casino would give bonus without a wagering requirements? He does claim he got it without a wagering requirement which should raise concern. Then the shitty filtering process is something I won't be able to comprehend as I am not it is so easy to do that using Cloudflare.
Too good to be true and we should all know the drill on this; avoid it. Most of the gamblers in this forum are aware of how suspiscious a gambling site could be. Would probably work for people outside this industry but for experienced one, this won't pass.

And for the new ones out there? Make it a habit to ask from other players, it won't cost you a penny. Also, never be baited with tricks which aren't even close to reality. It is your money to be trashed so don't let it happen that easily.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do star players affect the odds of a match bet? on: August 22, 2023, 10:49:24 PM
Yes but more with specific players. I saw this with previous NBA League in particular with championship. I was looking for parlays and I find it hard to get a decent odd with Nikola Jokic and Murray on sepecific stats 'coz they're both expected to perform well by other bettors, also with other players such as Gordon. Odds are simply the reflection of how majority of bettors percieve a player or fighter within a specific match. So basically, star players are more popular than bench players which makes sense for audiences to expect more from them to perform well within a game.  You'd be able to bet under their names for a better outcome but never expect high returns all the time.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: finally achieved $1,000,000 goal (kind of) on: August 22, 2023, 04:18:06 PM
Would you be satisfied then? For sure you won't. It would be hrd to stop with initiative especially if you are winning. You'd have that idea of "I have already won  so I would play a bit and allow to lose small amount", which could trigger a bigger drive to continue plaaying and if it's worse, then you'd lose everything. Bottomline is our satisfaction. We tend to forget winning comes once in a bluemoon and not to all of us. Would be okay to continue playing but if you'd still tag your next games to play on your previous winnings, then that is where problem could arise. I'd say take a rest and never be too greedy. Enjoy the amount little by little. And comeback once you are mentally and emotionally stable to again, play.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you gained anything after the end of bull run? on: August 21, 2023, 07:22:29 PM
Honestly, I quite erned a lot with the previous bullrun but not as big as it should be 'coz I tried holding and waiting for the price to recover before it continuously fall. We just cannot help it; there'll be times that we would be foolish and would choose to embrace the risk which I am now avoiding as an investor. I learned that it is not about the amount you have engaged and to be earned but rather the opporty to be more exposed with this blockchain. Also, it is not too late to invest. All you have to do is to wait for things to again start its increase. There's an appoaching Bitcoin halving which could uplift the market prices. If you came from the past, then I'd choose to continue wiyh my scheme as a rider. Investing at this point would be a hood idea but never push your luck that much.
1088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin negatives on: August 21, 2023, 07:03:52 PM
Some on your list may be true, some may be not. But have you also made a list of fiat negatives? Bitcoin is an alternative. You might want to take a closer look at the main option in order to have a fairer and more balanced view. Only then could you pass the final verdict and set aside Bitcoin. You might actually end up with a much longer list. There's a reason why fiat badly needs to have an alternative.

Also, Newton's third law of motion is true not just in physics but in other aspects of our existence as well. Every time we eat, we contribute to the world's degradation. Shall we stop eating?
You can also ask him to post the positives of Bitcoin. I am sure there are lots of it which can negate its negatives. Fiat might have some positives too but I think its negative is much more than it. That is the reason why Bitcoin is born to supply it.

If only the banks or governments are going to be asked, I think that fiat is already enough for them. For them it is already a perfect creation and there is no need for an alternative such as Bitcoin. They think that an alternative currency will only get the demand that their fiat is supposed to be getting or worse their fiat will be overcome by it. It's only funny that they didn't saw Bitcoin coming and it's now too late for them to stop it.
Stability with the market vaalue is Fiat's best feature simply because it promotes equality with the price of market goods. Next is centtalization and recognition to most of the countries. Unlike with Bitcoin and other crypto which has its limitation in particular with adoption and wide usage of this technology. Bitcoin will be on a bigger stage and will be acknowledge by more people in the future but to those who are thinking that it might be the main mode of payment in every transaction then that's so far from the reality. There a higher tendency for these two systems of digital currency are being pick upon by people but co-existence is more likely to happen despite of any negative or positive side.
1089  Economy / Economics / Re: Running faucet business in 2023 still possible? on: August 21, 2023, 06:42:21 PM
If you want to start a business from these cheap coins then you must know about their advertising. First of all you need to be well versed with the coin and know in detail when it will be profitable to invest in it. Also if you are trading for profit then I think it is better not to invest in such coins but find much better crypto that will give you profit from there. But if you use such calls then I can see you won't get much profit from here but some amount of profit but it won't be good for you at all.
Unfortunately, faucets are no longer as profitable as it was before. You'd manage to get some points but not all are having market price increase and many projects are not even paying. With this, I doubt it would still be a good thing to start a business with. If you manage to earn huge from fucet then that's great but not all has the luck to do so. Indeed these tokens can be traded to other pair but  there are also instances faucet tokens are even being listed to exchanger for such reson. Much better if you would engage to sources such as this forum or with NFTs. Those are more profitable thn to wait for "free money". There are other businesses and OP shouldn't be limiting himself to one bucket alone.
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin best option to invest on: August 21, 2023, 06:04:10 PM
Investing in bitcoin is not something one can do without being watchful. One has to know when to make investment and when not to, to avoid losing money. As it is, the price of bitcoin fluctuates, but there are times when the price is more likely to rise, for example, after the bitcoin halving. Mostly, if one makes a long-term investment, the end result is usually positive. All in all, any bitcoin investor should be watchful.
No matter what chances there is, we have no assurance of the market price behavior 'coz it is dependent with demand and demand on the other hand is affected by many factors. Never be too confident.

Also to those who are too optimistic in Bitcoin as an asset or investment. Definitely it is not the best to engage to. There are other alternatives and that depends on your preference as an investor. Pehaps you are bot confident with high volatility. There are properties, gold, and other assets having a potential to have higher market price in the future. Problem with some investors are not gauging the risks and circumstances. They're only focused with the profit but not with the risks.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: August 21, 2023, 05:32:32 PM
Memecoins I guess. These tokens are still profitable for swing trades but I doubt its market prices would be bck to its ATH even if halving occurs for Bitcoin which could trigger a bulltrend. Memecoins are profitable as an investment if you would manage to participate on their pre-sale but never expect that its market value will go up in the long run simply because it has no utility to sustain any market demand.

What is the name of that Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore??

I won't like ripple, it has a very low hype in the market and many people believe it is highly manipulated. Apart from that the price volatility is not encouraging, xrp has not increased more than $3 yet it stays in top list of coins in CMC. I won't like a project that it growth still depends on what the outcome of the court issue is.
I also think that Ripple is the most useless project among the top ones. Although I guess you can say that about any project nowadays, but Ripple has nothing else besides hype. I don't understand why it has been in the top for so long.
Having a point but if it is general profitablity of tokens then I believe Ripple still has it. We saw recently how fast its value have increased because of a single news. I assume that there are still many investors looking forward for its development as proven by its demand whenever news regrding its lawsuit, happens. I still have holdings of it and I can say that it is still a better asset than the new ones in this indistry.
1092  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin will be $173,566 before November, 2025 on: August 21, 2023, 04:48:18 PM
Well, we do have our own opinions and speculations. Skies the limite for its market value given that its price is dependent with demand. As long as the demand in Bitcoin is continuously increasing, not to mention that majority of people still are not engaging at this point  then it is okay to expect for  high market value. On my end, I guess the market price would also pass or break the $100k mark by 2025 given that halving is around the corner. There's a huge expectation on its market price because of what happened before and that is an enough reason for a huge pump because of FOMO. Despite of that we cannot expect for a continuous market price increse, there'll always be sudden dumps in which we should all be prepared for, in order to endure sudden price changes and to earn profit in the long run.
1093  Economy / Economics / Re: Any business where today you launch, tomorrow you begin making profit...? on: August 20, 2023, 06:20:42 PM
A business needs capital. How would you be able to got back with the amount you have invested in it within a single day? Before profit comes, you need to first get your initial investment, and that won't happen in a single blink of an eye.
You like to get profits in short period of time, which is not the easy task. Most of the people will spend huge time to buy the particular coin, because they investing their valuable money.Only the good project will give you returns, the scam or fake project will take your money gradually and finally your holding will become a zero value. Many people hold their money in the valuable coin, they need to wait for the profit from such coin.Patience is the key needed for the good profit from your holding money.

Putting a business and making profit from it will take time. You need to undergo a trial and error first to apply specific strategies to make your business grow. There's no shortcut to successful business as you still need to consider lots of things to ensure that your business will work in an specific location, target consumers and people's demand.
If you want to have an assurance of making profit from your business, you need to polish everything first but that doesn't mean that you will not experience hardships and challenges. There's no instant success in building a business as competitions are everywhere but if you put hardwork and dedication, things will surely work.
Yes, you're right, of course it takes time, not just a few days or a few months, to be able to create a business, and even those who have been in business for several years may not necessarily be able to enjoy good results. I have never seen a business that has just been built can get good profits, of course they have to go through every process to get good results.
There's no such thing unless you are just a sidewalk vendor and happened that many people sold your products out which could cover the amount you have used to actualize that particular business such as equipments for you to have quite of a good start. If you gamble then that's possible. But also, that is a different context with their proper procedure. Never chase for a shortcut 'coz it would bring you nowhere.
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin obsession! on: August 20, 2023, 05:42:10 PM
It is conventionally taken that obsession to something is bad(wrong) and people are mainly advised to do away with behaviours of obsession to anything as it could result to their harm. And on this note I want us to look into bitcoin obsession, discussing objectively about it without sentiment or prejudice for the sake of  impacting rational knowledge in the course of the discuss.

But before we proceed you might wanna have a refreshing definition/meaning of obsession. According to the Britannica dictionary, obsession is a state in which someone thinks about someone or something constantly or frequently especially in a way that is not normal. While, the Oxford dictionary defines it as an idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind.

Now, it is undeniable and an underlying fact that bitcoin possesses multiple advantageous features spanning from anonymity, decentralization, cancellation of third party, pseudonymity, P2P etc, all encapsulated towards financial freedom.

With obsession when it's gambling we give a strong NO with our reasons attached cause obsession is just another form of addiction. So lets talk about obsession (addiction) to bitcoin. I felt in a way it might help bitcoin enthusiasts like myself and others to knows  and understand in clear terms if bitcoin obsession is bad(wrong) or not.

If being obsessed with money is wrong then everyone in this world is wrong which is enough to prove that there is nothing wrong with being obsessed in making more money but what matters is how they make it. If they are making it via illegal ways by means of law then the person has to face the consequences of it but please can we get rid of comparing bitcoin with gambling and addiction cause it isn't a fair comparison at all?

So let's say being obsessed with Bitcoin is fine until the person is not doing any harm to them physically and mentally like not watching the price charts 24/7 which will make them anxious and further problems financially and health related. It's not bad as long as they are making it within legal and ethical boundaries, and one doesn't neglect other important aspects of life in the process.

Obsession is different from necessity. Ofcourse everyone has the drive to earn money but it would be another story if we would talk about obsession. Obsession means you'd do something no matter what circumstances you would face or encounter. On the other hand, it won't also be a good thing to be obsessed with Bitcoin. It is okay to have investments into it but diversification will still be more advisable. Bitcoin indeed has a higher market price volatility but that won't guarantee big profit already 'coz in line with its volatility issues, are instances wherein the market price would fall. Gambling addiction indeed is different with Bitcoin investment but both has risk, so you decide where to engage yourself with.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What micro games is best for you? on: August 20, 2023, 05:07:32 PM
I thought micro games are those which you can play or bet easily and quickly, aside from allowing small bets but mine are slots and dice games. I often play micro games whenever I am quite having a "tilt" in sportsbetting or whenever I find it hard to win with the matches I usually engage myself with. Quite of just killing time and callibrating my mood before playing again in sportsbetting. What bores me with micro games is obviously how boring it is. It is a bet and go type of gambling game. You'll just have a win or lose scenario and no "almost" moments which I think, hooked up ne with sportsbetting.
1096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 20, 2023, 04:35:25 PM
Anybody know of any crypto casinos that offer cockfighting? preferably vietnamese thai cambodian or filipino
I only know fiat based online gambling platforms which caters and offers such kind of betting game. Also, this has something to do with cultural limitations. Cockfighting is also present in my country but only few organizations are registered under authority and majority are not. Thus, it would be rare to also see it here in web 3.0 gambling industry 'coz games and matches being displayed are simply ones in which all players are familiar with. With the same idea, there are other local gambling games which are for sure not present in this platforms such as spider fighting, human racing, and the likes which would be weird for foreign players to cite all. Point here is that, anything could just be gambled for as long as there are players with opposing viewpoints. But that doesn't mean it would already be offered to all gambling platforms.
1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Instead of Gold? on: August 19, 2023, 05:38:58 PM
The answer to a debate that is constantly discussed on social media accounts and news outlets may open doors to different answers for everyone. So, Why Bitcoin Instead of Gold for you?

If this topic has been discussed before, I would appreciate it if you could enlighten me.
Bitcoin has a higher market price volatility thus it can generate bigger profit. But question is, would such asset suit you as an investor? Not because something is profitble, you'd engage into it already. There are consequences on every choice we would make. Choosing eitherway would be a good move as long as you know the risks involved. You may also choose both of it as an asset to be held for a long period of time. But if you have your own preference with an asset's characteristics, then for sure you'd be draggged to one. It is either high profit high risk  or low risk but consistent profit over years. This is something we all know for a long period of time.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: August 19, 2023, 05:18:04 PM
Most often when you are losing, you'd be eager to get back with how much you have lost. In order to get that back again, a player would be needing to gamble but if that's not your day you'd just make the losses bigger. This instance simply shows how emotions could take over your cool as a gambler. Losing is indeed expected but since no one wants to, then frustrations would happen or take place, which could also be a root of addiction. But to some, they do manage to not be frustrated and to still have hopes for a better betting outcome the next day. And some are even playing with other gambling games to losen their emotion and frustrations.
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dreaming That I'm Playing In A Casino, Do You Have One, on: August 19, 2023, 04:34:34 PM
I had one but unlike others who had visions of them winning, I had a dream of losing all of my properties on that night which also gave or knocked me to be preventive of losses. After that, I was able to set limits on the amount I am betting and amount I would be able to endure on each day I would be gambling. Turned out to be a positive dream for me as a gambler.

I also have a childhood friend who had dreams of a lottery combination number. They did not bet on it but turned out that all of those numbers are the winning combinaation for that day. She really regret not acting upon it but I think that was just a consequence 'coz if the other way around happen, she would be glad not betting on it. Also only her would determine whether things are true or not.
1100  Economy / Economics / Re: Were Banks and Governments behind this Dump? on: August 18, 2023, 06:27:59 PM
I do believe that the biggest contributor with the dump is what SpaceX have done under Elon. That is a huge anount of holding to be sold in a single night. This has been surfacing around the web with ssunptions of why did Elon come up with selling that much of his wealth. As we all know that was almost two years of accumulation and was sold for a lower market price. No one knows the reason why did they do such thing but to my assumption, Elon wanted to dump the market price and trigger a domino effect and once oppoetunity come, they's buy back for a lower price for profit. Unfortunately the ones who suffered the most are small investors which have met with their liquidation and market price tolerance. There's a chance for recovery but no one knows when will exactly this thing would happen.
