posted a complaint on these guys.

I am also filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. here is the link. I strongly suggest you all do the same if you ever want to recoup your losses. Wire fraud? It's a big deal.

AMT needs to be stopped.

AMT,
Are you listening?
Besides all reductions things said here i just can not understand how you can sell something for x amount and after that request customer to pay x + y because of the price raise?
Complete nonsense o am shocked Angry
The sad thing is that is made by US company!!!!!!!!!1

................................

Would you like schematics? (lol, just kidding... I am keeping those to myself. Not sure they were intended to be seen. JK.)
I like working boards in hand. I am not a MANUFACTURER Grin
1104  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 06, 2014, 04:42:45 AM
ummm what deadline? we cant even get AMT to give another fake delivery date. they arent even pretending to be reputable anymore.

I still have not even gotten an e-mail from them, explaining why my first delivery-date was missed... or saying it was going to be late... Or even confirming my order that I placed.

Is it too much to ask, for at-least the website to show the estimated delivery, or have direct customer notices addressed to us?

Sure, I saw the notices here, but not all customers are members here. I am sure a whole bunch of them are freaking-out, not knowing what we know. Hell, some of us here are freaking-out, knowing what we know here. (Not from Phinn, from you AMT. Tongue)

I still want my miner to have these boards...

Not the other ones. Tongue

Better heat distribution and cooling potential. Using sandwiched heat-pipe or water-cooling blocks. I have a bunch of square aluminum tube, without a purpose, which would span two chips on either side. With the next layer above being the next board, then more aluminum square tubing. etc...
You know that this board is not working, do you?
1105  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 05, 2014, 05:59:57 PM
ISAWHIM: I agree, one would think they would be using machinery to apply thermal paste/heat sinks. Just goes to show you they are assembling these CRUDELY by hand.

By the looks of the latest pictures, I don't see the same type of assembly line as seen by Bitmain/Bitmine. My thoughts are this is a half ass manufacturing process: so forget about consistency. I won't be surprised if there are many of the same issues with the newer models.

You should have seen the nightmare I had with my HIS-Radeon 7970's... half didn't even have enough compound to cover half of the chip. The memory used heat-pads with a cloth-center like duct-tape, limiting the GPU from having adequate contact, and the voltage-regulators didn't even touch the heat-sink, where they carefully crafted a place for them to touch.

Had to file-down the riser-feet holding the PCB board at the improper height from the heat-sink, shim and paste the VR's so they could touch, remove the heat-pad duct-tape from the memory, and then all was well. Saved me 18-20c in thermal transfer for cooling. (Those reference card designs still suck though.) Hottest ones I have running, out of all my designs. The heat-sink fins are only tacked-on at four points, with no paste or contact anywhere underneath to the heat-pipe vessel. Yes, a vessel, like a giant flat pancake... Horrible design. Tongue)
made in China dude. Such things are not meant to happen for made in USA
1106  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 05, 2014, 05:10:00 PM
Just thought I'd randomly check back here. Yup, the thread still reads the same as on page 3 and 4. "Are they real?" "They don't respond!" "They don't deliver!" "Scam!"

My 80gh is still hashing. Probably getting one satoshi a day, guts all over the place and I had to reroute the boards through my own usb hub because the hub that came with it was defective. I probably couldn't sell it but there it goes, hashing away.

I feel the pain of you guys who still don't have your orders. I hope you get something soon - a unit, or money back, or closure!

lol. i feel ya.
does your 80GH rig look something like this?  guts flipped out, and USB cables properly rerouted.

great looking boards Wink

they are great looking NOW.  When the rig got here, there was thermal paste slathered all over the place, and hopefully enough was left between the heatsink and the chips.  About 3 minutes, some 91%rubbing alcohol and a few Q-tips removed all of the excess thermal paste.  Would that be technobit, or AMT's doing?  guessing the latter....
Thermal paste looks ugly and messy. The only problem I see is that dust sticks to it with time and your board starts to look like shit Wink

ISAWHIM
I told everybody that Bitmine.ch  has delivered a couple of days ago Wink

Sorry, missed that in the flood of posts. Sad

I thought I had something new to share. Tongue

You take all the fun out of needless posting. You are not invited to my next post-it party! I'd sew you if I had the ability to thread a needle! However, I can't spare the money for a loyer... Know change in my pocket, knot even won sense to my name. (Had to type that.)
I do not mind go ahead and do it. At the end you will know what to do when amt turn comes Grin
Besides you know how to make a profit no matter of what do you?
10k dif and alt coin shit. Pool 25% fees . So calm down and wait patiently for your miner to come
Now serious I am NOT making fun of it for sure. My irony is just pointing out what is going on here. As soon you get it better for you. Pink pills time is going to an end. Their business model is coping BFL that is all. Sad but true! So I do really want to avoid threads like amt fucks us over again. But what I see there in Bfl thread -people are not listening. That is all
Besides do not forget that I am paid amt employe as suggested by amt them selfs so go ahead sue me please Grin

Well Bitmine.ch (Coincraft) has delivered...

One guy got two already. (One with the original setup boards, and one bonus rig for the compensated MPP.)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=486808.msg5515598#msg5515598

AMT's deliveries should be arriving just around the corner...

However, There is some deep competition out there... China-guys selling A1 (defunct batches? first-runs? cheap supporting hardware? stolen chips?)

Those are the ones selling for about $3255 USD running at 1THs around 880Watts. (Sure those will show on ebay for about $12,000 USD soon too. lol.) http://www.lketc.com/goods/show-197.aspx
ISAWHIM
I told everybody that Bitmine.ch  has delivered a couple of days ago Wink

It is clear that they are not able to do it so what is next  Grin
Wait for Bitmine to manufacture instead of them? I doubt so as long as Bitmine has enough unhappy customers already. They will ask mother china for help most likely Grin Grin Grin Grin AMT Dragons ....Manufactured in US of course Grin Grin Grin Grin
Having in mind they have the chips in hand since two months now (i would say for) i will leave you to do the math how much they've lost because of their incompetence. Buying china miners for 3K and selling them for 6K to you seems fair enough for me Grin Grin
There is a slight chance for them to have units working and keep that info secret so they can test them for a next mount before they ship Grin
I am wandering when the thread
AMT FUCKS US OVER AGAIN will pop up and if it will beat famous BFL one Grin
It is a must the student to become better than a teacher Grin
1109  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 05, 2014, 04:38:45 AM
Or the Technobit HEX8A1? To my knowledge, that was the first working A1 design to ship. Bitmine is now shipping. They have their queue all fubar, but they are shipping.

Apparently so is Dragon, which appear to be "unlicensed" A1 knockoffs. But initial reports look like pretty solid machines.

To date, though, the best company remains Bitmain. I do hope they're working on a next gen chip, since the Ants are such solid beasties.

Looking for the post now... I think I did reply, something about the voltage-regulation issues. They were using a raw link from the VR to the chip, and the PWM frequency of the VR was screwing with the chips operation. He added a decent capacitor and a resistor between the two, and that resolved some of the issue. The rest might have actually required an RF torrid choke. (I actually suggested a mini ultra-capacitor, which would have yielded pure constant voltage. Works better when the frequency changes on the VR chip. Requires no "tuning", which limits actual ability to the range of voltage/frequency of the cap/resistor combo you install.)

Still having trouble finding the post.
I would be surprised if they try to trade their left chips for oem machines like dragons or something and print their logo on them Grin I am wandering how many chips have they left because of their manufacturing process Grin
1110  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 05, 2014, 04:36:05 AM

great looking boards Wink
[/quote]

i have absolutely no complaints with the boards.  They're solid.  Getting 42-45GH from each board without breaking a sweat.

case is nice.  It's metal with a nice paint job.  lol

controller is kinda nifty(Tp-Link M3200 or something, with the cover removed).

no name 300w psu.  so far so good

cheapo 7-port usb hub.  it works....for now.

some other cables that are dangling, and looked like they were meant to go to something else.  like the internal usb connection that goes nowhere.

usb connectors on the front of the case are not hooked up, but the dangling usb connection doesnt look like it goes to them.  didnt have anythign else to hook up, so didnt think much of it.

you'd think it'd be easy to get all those parts assembled properly.  If it were actually tested, how does it get to me with a bad chip on one board, and both boards not hashing at the same time?
[/quote]
Sure dude these are technobit boards Wink

Agreed, this is what doesn't sit well with me.

They said they had everyone building these machines out and shipping - then it turns out it's a complete lie.

They treat customers like idiots and lie to us. This is why people moving forward shouldn't invest with AMT. Even if they got their shit together, their track record is already tainted. They obviously don't give a shit about their customers, and that will not change.

It was during this interval where I entered this thread in force, bringing new evidence of their operation to light. Joshua Zipkin even went so far as to call me an idiot, but nary once try to distance himself from Harrison Zachariah Zipkin being his father. But, that doesn't matter too much, for I've already shown that the 1254 West Chester Pike and 31 S Eagle Rd (same building) addresses were used by both of them as far back as 2006, in spite of the fact that Joshua Boya lying about Harrison being a friend of the founder of AMT, oppose to being his Daddy-O.

Bottom line, don't trust this Bulgarian one iota.
He is not Bulgarian. He is taking best of both worlds US and BG Grin Resume BFL Sony is the master, AMT is the printist. let the SCAM be with them;D Grin

Circusk8tr,

Where did your post go?

what number are you?

are you real?

I removed the post because I wanted to give "Robert" a chance to clarify the message I posted, which he just did. I'll go ahead and post his messages, but yes I am real despite being new. Order #686

Hey Jonathan,

Spoke to the sales manager, he said that nearly all the members of the staff is in the manufacturing facility building miners at the moment.
And that half of the components that go in the miners haven't been invented yet, so additional tests had to be done to make sure everything hashes correctly and properly, since we are getting there we are moving down the list so you should be expecting your miner anytime now.
Regards!

After asking for a me definate timeline I received this

Hey Jonathan,

I am sorry I have to be in the middle but please understand when we say it hasn't been invented yet, we mean that it took longer than expected to get the chips and the board designs, we have ran additional testing and everything is running fine. The additional techinal time was needed - that's what we meant. Bitmine delayed our chip supply which put us back a few weeks and we are trying to catch up on some time at the moment. The good news is that we started to move down the waiting list and your miner will be shipped very shortly.  We do appreciate your patience, you have no idea how much tension we are going through, but we will not leave a single miner undeliverd because we appreciate the trust that our customers put in us.

Kind regards!

Thanks for sharing, and getting clarification.

I hope they aren't just blowing smoke up our asses. You number is sandwiched between my 2 orders.

I liked that post on ebay... "I ordered three, decided to keep two"... Has two listed for sale, one for 10K one for 13K... Both china junk, with an AMT logo on it. (Notice no pictures of inside... Might be buying just the case of a 1.2THs miner! Tongue)

Funny, didn't they say they are releasing them with 1.5GHs... Or 1.2THs with a follow-up of one additional board...

Proof that the ebay listing is a scam. (Someone won't know the difference... They will be happy with the chinaminer. But pissed when they find it is not an actual AMT miner.)

lol... Everyone is delivering AMT miners, except AMT. (Bad joke)
Lol end elsewhere Amt clones worked expect the original Grin
Amt you have to sue china brothers for stealing your know how immediately Grin Grin
1114  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 03, 2014, 06:50:36 PM
Technobit says they are shipping the Coincraft A1 boards at the end of March.  Assuming they do a repeat of the 80GH rigs, technobit ships to AMT at the end of march, AMT "tests" the rigs for however long, and then send them on tot he customers.

5 Technobit 260GH boards = 1 AMT 1.2TH rig

easy enough to figure out.

You'll probably get your rigs in mid-april.
Not the case dude
Marto stated that Technobit is not involved amt are on their own. Besides I have my coincraft board from Technobit almost a month now Smiley
1115  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 03, 2014, 05:18:32 PM
Every day that passes looks worse and worse for AMT. Clenell I'm curious what your attorney has to say about all this. They're 4 weeks passed expected shipping date for me and this has been unacceptable. Not even one terahash machine has even been spotted in the real world, and the frustrating lack of updates from AMT doesn't help at all (and even when they do update us it's with false and/or misleading information). We may have to take the legal route through all this
+1
Just to clarify  bitmine is shipping working 1.2t units already. That is what I can see from other folks posts. I also do see that bitmine stuff is working. So there is basically some hope that FANCY AMT logo printed on Pcb did not screw up bitmine working design Grin. As I see things one of two is happening
1. Famous AMT manufacturer is struggling to make it wok because some back plain issues as they stated which literaturely translates to back pain which means a big A*S pain issues  Grin the storm is about to come
2. If they produce something at all in near feature (the lack of video is a clear sign for the opposite) they have to test it for a long period of time just to make sure their customers will be receiving the top quality miner ever MANIFACTURED Grin
I am not in position to make bets this time but in my opinion no one will see his miners DELIVERED for a mount or so
AMT:
If you have some dignity left just come here and HONESTLY explain what the current situation is. Just a personal advise do not make any false promises if you decide to put some lite over current situation
Or just take a first plain and flew away. Be aware that in both EU and US laws there is an option for your customers to sue you both as a Business AMT brand and as as PERSON also
And finally get in touch with sonny and get some advises how you can scam people being us business for years without any consequences. That is the BIGGEST mystery for me personally. And funny part is that Bfl are continuing to do it. Probably AMT knows Sonny secret recipe Grin

 1.0 out of 5 stars

There's customer AMT didn't need due in part to all the "old money" they have. More reviews coming soon for AMT. I will eventually make them pay for their total lack of transparency.

Do you have a tracking number of your 1.2t miner coming in?
I am wandering if there is some sign of shipping amongst all of amt customers?
Time is ticktacking away and it is not about you ROI anymore. Every day delay cons and at the end it may turn out that you will loose most of your investment.
1117  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: March 03, 2014, 06:38:54 AM
I thought I started my question asking about hex miner and I think I've got it working now.  The stratum address in the stratum converter had some extra fields stopping it from working. Now it seems to be working right

The person I bought from provided hexminer though as I saw the instructions that I'm going to follow above  is try compiling with the patch into a windows version with mxe.

I know avalon2 is supported but this device is'nt specifically supported without the patch that I now know what I need to do to get it set up once I figure out where to pull the files cgminer down for umbuntu (I've got more instructions for cross compile than for umbuntu compile). Eventually hopefully ckolivias will integrate it but yay hexminer works and I'm getting shares.
Super I did not get it firstly I thought you are looking for cgmi we windows port
1118  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: March 02, 2014, 06:21:22 PM
There's 3 different provided links I checked that are proper for me and most to follow instructions they just haven't been updated recently. I can only ask and hope someone caught the old instructions are bunk and tweak them.

I just got some instructions emailed to me by who I bought it from so I'll see maybe I'm missing something. This is new hardware to me so I'd hope all the kinks are worked out somewhere after 50 pages.

As I told you buy a tplink and forget.
That is the best I can do.
Good luck
Are 50 pages our problem?
Basically with each version of cgminer there is a change log
There is no howto etching you how to compile and patch things
So windows hex miner
Or tplink perebuild image
And finally I do not know what was promised from the guy who sold you that stuff,  but if you are looking for windows port I do not think it will be easy. You have a clean example from Zich how to do it after all for Linux based host
1119  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Bitfury is looking for alpha-testers of first chips! FREE MONEY HERE! on: March 02, 2014, 02:42:30 PM
The new bitfury chip will have the same pinout?
Our rev2 55nm chip is in the same 7mm punch-type QFN48 package with identical pinout to the rev1 55nm (summer 2013).

Quote
There will be improvement in Ghash/s?

Yes. Our preliminary tests show 25% increase in hashrate and 25% lower power consumption. We will receive new chips tomorrow and will have samples available to developers.

Do you plan sell bare chips ?

Yes, but this engineering batch will not be sold in big quantities. It's for evaluation purposes.
Punin
Do yo have any price idea about next batches ?
1120  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: March 02, 2014, 02:38:39 PM
If I cross compile to windows will that patch work or is is Linux compile specific? Either way the how to install cgminer instructions everywhere need to be updated . Apparently I think files like lib curses couldn't be found to install when I called for them after an apt - get update call.
Apparently you need to do: use hexminer for windows or just by a tplink and use precompiled image
Do not ask for instructions please it cost people time
Or go on your own learn how to install libs compile and patch programs and so on
