1121  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: الحذر من منصة Huobi on: January 09, 2023, 03:42:48 PM

1123  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: صرف بيتكوين فيالقاهرة on: January 09, 2023, 04:24:33 AM

Smiley

1125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: January 08, 2023, 06:38:13 PM
Recently I have been trying to come up with ways of making some money on the side and thinking of giving trading a go.

I have zero experience and have just been looking on Coinbase at the best and worst performers of the day.

I am thinking of buying coins that are 15% or more down and then selling once they pump 10% and move onto the next one that is 15% down and then again sell at 10% profit and just keep repeating.

Anyone done something similar or will it just lead me to losing my money?
If your experience is zero, it is not unlikely that you will lose your money in vain. Trading is not easy, not guaranteed, and is not always furnished with gains. You must gain experience first, make your investment low, and be aware of the right trends, basics, strategies, good trading platforms, how to conduct research, and know the chart curve, so I advise you to educate yourself, as the more information and knowledge you have, the more available opportunities that you can benefit from, n addition to that the buying and selling operations that you make are the ones that will help you collect profitable amounts. Knowing the right time is one of the most important things in trading and choosing good currencies is what gives you profits. Therefore, if you want to buy currencies, choose a time when the markets are stable and free from fluctuations and sharp price changes, and currency prices are cheap.
1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Failure of Exchnages can never be that of Bitcoin. on: January 08, 2023, 05:44:54 PM
Criticizing Bitcoin/crypto because of a centralized exchange failure has always been an idiotic criticism in the first place; always voiced out by ignorant people on social media. Those empty cans have always been the most vocal.
Yes, this is true, because the main responsible for the failure of any central exchange is the central authority responsible for it and its team. No one can blame Bitcoin for the failure or collapse of the central exchange. This is far from true. Bitcoin is alive even before the emergence of these shit exchanges and after the failure and collapse of many central exchanges, Bitcoin was able to maintain its market value and the confidence of investors in it, because it is indeed digital gold and one of the best safe and reliable currencies over the years. Only ignorant and skeptical people throw these false accusations against Bitcoin due to their lack of knowledge.
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sell motorbikes to buy bitcoins on: January 08, 2023, 04:33:56 PM
I have 2 motorbikes at home, but what I always use is only 1 motorbike, and 1 motorbike is rarely used, and indeed the motorbike is also old, and if it is sold it won't be too expensive, and I decided to sell the motorbike, because in my opinion the price of the motorbike will definitely fall over time,
(affected by inflation). and the money from the sale of the motorbike I will use to buy bitcoin. because in my opinion the price of bitcoin in the future will definitely rise. and also currently the market is bear, so this is a good opportunity to buy bitcoins. and I want to ask everyone, the decision I made, namely selling the motorbike and the money to buy bitcoin, is it wrong or not?

I'm ready to be corrected because I have no experience in bitcoin and crypto.
If you do not have sufficient experience in investing and trading bitcoins and cryptocurrencies, then your decision to sell your motorcycle will undoubtedly be a wrong decision because the field of cryptocurrencies needs experience in trading and experience in determining the right time to buy and sell through charting, technical analysis and risk management techniques. I advise you to invest in what You can lose more money than you need because there is a possibility that you will lose it because the crypto market is currently volatile and there are no indications that it will recover soon, so do not sell your motorbike, property, cars, house, etc. to buy cryptocurrencies. This field is full of risks, you need to educate yourself and increase your experience, and trade with small amounts at the beginning until you learn.
1128  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best crypto news is here on: January 08, 2023, 03:37:54 PM
There are countless crypto news websites and it is impossible to say which is the best to follow. Cryptocurrency news is endless and I don't think you can follow all of them. Try using social networks like Twitter and Reddit, where you will see the most important news discussed instead of trying to follow the whole news every day.
Blogs and websites are good and reliable sources for receiving news better than social media sites, as anyone on Twitter or Reddit and others can publish any false news, There are many good websites that the OP can check out for the latest cryptocurrency and bitcoin news daily. For me, I prefer the following websites which have exclusive news and simple and easy interface for readers :

1- https://cryptonews.com/
2- https://www.coindesk.com/
3- https://www.cnbc.com/cryptoworld/
4- https://www.investing.com/news/cryptocurrency-news

@OP After looking at these sites that I mentioned to you, you can put them in the Bookmarks of your browser so that it is easier for you to open them from time to time.
1129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: January 08, 2023, 02:32:13 PM
Remember the first trading lesson you learned as a newbie? Did it come from a win or a loss? A loss teaches you about the reality of the market, protects you from becoming cocky, and humbles you. When you are a beginner trader, a small loss is not a terrible thing. Losses teach you proper trading risk management strategies and techniques and respect for the market and prepare you for long-term success.

Remember the first lesson you learned as a beginner trader? Did it come from a loss or a win?
The first lesson that I learned as a beginner trader is to diversify my investments and not put my capital in one currency. The first trading for me came with a loss because I invested in one currency whose project failed after that. Yes, the loss was not great, but thanks to this loss, I learned the lesson, so there are no Free lessons that you must sacrifice and lose in order to learn. Losses play a role in making you more balanced in making your decisions and wiser because they teach you various strategies and techniques that make you win and gain in the long run profits that compensate you for what you lost, so trading is a win and a loss and each of us has cases of profit and loss but who stands firm for a long time and achieves gains, he is the one who learns from his mistakes, gains experience, and develops his skills.
1130  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: what is the best crypto wallet for mobile? on: January 07, 2023, 06:23:59 PM
hello all,  i am currently using trust wallet as my main wallet. my previous wallet has been hacked by someone and that too was a trust wallet. today a friend of mine had to face to the same problem i faced. his wallet also was a trust wallet. why these trust wallets are being hacked?? isn't trust wallet safe?? if no why?? is there a better wallet for holding my crypto temporarily?? i am asking about mobile wallets guyz, not about cold wallets.
There are many good and safe wallets, But that doesn't mean that after your wallet and your friend's wallet have been hacked, Trustwallet is bad. No, this indicates that you did not maintain the recovery phrases and private key well, and this is the case with all wallets if you do not have a background in protecting your wallets from hacking, then all the wallets that you will use will be unsafe for you. if you are looking for a good wallet other than the trust wallet, it is the CoinBase wallet, as it is supported by reliable and well-known trading platforms, also the Exodus wallet is good and easy to use, and in addition to that it gives you a private key to access your bitcoins, Plus other useful security tools to keep your assets as safe as possible.
1131  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What do you think about trust wallet? on: January 07, 2023, 05:38:35 PM
there is still a metamask wallet as long as the private key or seed phrase that you will use is safe.
As far as I can tell metamask looks like the most terrible option! For starters it is only for ethereum based tokens not for any decent cryptocurrency. Additionally it is a browser based wallet, or better said script, which is unsafe by design because it relies on your browser and that is not the safest option to use as a cryptocurrency wallet.
MetaMask has an application for Android and iPhone phones, not just a browser extension. All that MetaMask users have to do is keep the recovery phrases or the private key in a safe place or on an external hard drive. MetaMask is a good, easy-to-use, and open-source wallet. I see that TrustWallet is also a good and popular wallet in the crypto arena, both wallets are good for beginners and many tokens are available on them, and any user can manually add the network he wants for any token on both wallets. As for me, I have been using them for many years and have never had any problems with them.

1132  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Poll] What are the safest platforms? on: January 07, 2023, 04:39:24 PM
I didn't vote because in my opinion there are no secure centralized exchanges, they are all vulnerable to hacking, account freezing or people's money being stolen by the same exchange team.

But this is a relative matter of course, if I had to choose, I would of course choose Binance, because at least if the exchange gets hacked (as it happened before) Binance compensates users from its own reserves.
Yes, I completely agree with you, we should not set our hopes high on the central exchange platforms, so if Binance was previously hacked in 2019 and it is one of the largest central exchange platforms in the crypto market, and the hackers stole 7 thousand of the Bitcoin, what do you expect to happen to the other exchange platforms? Hackers over time devise new ways to hack and exploit the vulnerabilities of the exchange platforms, and with time they can succeed in that, so we can keep our wealth in cold wallets, and only when trading can we transfer our funds to popular exchange platforms such as Binance and Kucoin because their bankruptcy rate is low due to the reserve fund that they have.
1133  Economy / Economics / Re: Effect of the FIFA world cup on Qatar's economy on: January 07, 2023, 03:40:38 PM
Qatar is one of the largest oil exporting countries and has the third largest natural gas reserves in the world, so it is a country rich in natural resources and non-renewable energy it is a small Arab country, and it is certain that Qatar benefited economically from the FIFA world cup, as the financial revenues were huge and will continue in the long term And tourism received a strong boost in transportation and facilities at the start of the FIFA world cup and after the tournament, which increased the potential gains from behind the World Cup, as this global event added billions of dollars to its economy, in addition to the fact that this event is a good way to display its culture on a global scale.
1134  Economy / Economics / Re: How do cryptocurrencies affect Global Economy? on: January 07, 2023, 02:58:12 PM
That's how the government wants to keep control over the people's finances, because if decentralized they can't do anything if something bad happens to the people and the more precise reason is that they can't take advantage, especially the bankers.
Because basically, the industry that will be disrupted when crypto adoption takes root is banking, if you look at it today the aspects contained in banks are already in DEFI so it will be easy for Blockchain technology to shift the highest throne of financial institutions.
CBDCs may be a backup plan to be an option for the government to keep control of finances and as an alternative form of currency that people can use to keep themselves away from crypto.
You are right, CBDC is still a controlled CBDC as fiat functions. The government just wants to make sure that digital finance has to adapt to the growth of crypto. But then again they're not crypto, they're just leveraging Blockchain as a reincarnation of fiat. I wouldn't worry too much, because users who already know the function of crypto as full control will know the difference with CBDC clearly.
Yes, there is a clear difference between CBDC and cryptocurrencies. CBDC is centralized, not cryptocurrencies, It is more or less stable and it is subject to the government, and can be kept in bank accounts with no credit or liquidity risks. It will enable the general public to conduct digital payments because it plays a role in facilitating access to financial services, and as you mentioned, the idea of CBDC stems from blockchain technology, and I see that in the future, CBDC may have an impact on the cryptocurrency market and sector, and it will help and enhance financial stability in the banking system and reduce dependence on cash. As for the impact of cryptocurrencies on the global economy, I see that they can have not a noticeable impact because cryptocurrencies are not government-backed and are not internationally recognized in many countries.
1135  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: First Exchange to Bite the Dust in 2023, Juno on: January 06, 2023, 06:52:19 PM
What do you think would be the another exchange which is under radar of going out of crypto market [/b]
I honestly wouldn't wish that to happen in any exchange as we know, the only ones who'll truly suffer from such an unfortunate event will be the users.
Although, there seems to be an awfully constant trend of centralized exchanges going bonkers so I wouldn't be surprised if one of those gets "hacked" again.
Hacking, bankruptcy, etc. can happen to any central exchange platform, regardless of its strength, so users have to be wiser because they are the first losers if some disaster happens. The FTX platform has now ended its story and its currency died and in turn, affected the crypto market and millions of users lost their funds so yes this is a harsh lesson and it can be repeated in Juno and other centralized exchanges, for me, I relieve my mind of anxiety by paying some fees to buy a hardware wallet and hold my cryptocurrencies in complete safety in an offline mode without holding them on an exchange platform which is liable at any moment to fall and collapse, this is the simple solution  Cool
1136  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: 1.6 BTC locked on Blockchain.com on: January 06, 2023, 05:53:53 PM
I used Google Chrome, Mozilla, Opera, Edge... also VPN, socks etc...
I have sent them 40 support messages but no answer on 2 months !
What should i do? I don't have the secret private key recovery phrase... only email/ID and password.
I use yahoo.com mail
Yahoo mail is very bad, and this delay in receiving the message may be a problem related to Yahoo servers, so try all the browsers that you mentioned that you were using to log in, do not open an incognito window of the browsers, If you are using a VPN, you should carefully know which country of the countries you were using its IP, And you can take a look at your old inbox messages for the blockchain to know the correct IP, Contact customer service on all their social sites, and I hope you will find a response from them. Also, if you restore your account on the Blockchain, I advise you to change your email from Yahoo to Gmail and transfer your bitcoins to a hardware wallet.
1137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 06, 2023, 05:00:44 PM
All traders, including seasoned pros, make these errors, for which they ultimately pay a price. The primary prototype that a trader should control is greed. Beginners and traders succumb to greed and overtrade, which leads to blunders. I am aware that keeping is occasionally preferable, which is why they always recommend trading within your means. If you go over budget and trade with your savings, you may be obliged to sell the coins at key moments when keeping them could have been a better choice. Act and make investments as such.
Greed is what makes most traders lose their capital even if they have good profits. For me, I return my capital in full and put 50% of the profits into trading, and this reduces the risk. Holding is the best option that makes us achieve huge gains in the long run, but we must not bet all of our capital in one currency and always follow technical analysis, charts, and currency news. and we must adhere to a specific plan and collect fifty percent of profits as soon as we obtain them, then move on to another trading process, and most importantly of all, we choose the trading platform carefully on which we will deposit and HODL our currencies on it.
1138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn from cryptocurrency as a starter? on: January 06, 2023, 04:04:19 PM
Instead of earning, you can use your time to learn, as investing and trading cryptocurrencies involves risks, so you must have sufficient experience and knowledge of technical analysis and be familiar with the basics of trading, then you will be qualified to earn from cryptocurrencies, you as a beginner can lose All your capital if you do not gain experience and educate yourself, so there are many ways to earn cryptocurrencies, the most important of which is an investment and buying currencies from the bottoms and selling them at the tops, but not every beginner will succeed in that, also you can participate in bounty campaigns in this forum, where you must have accounts that contain Lots of followers.
1139  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Wallet Selling on: January 06, 2023, 02:39:16 PM
In this type of scam, fraudsters claim to have a wallet with a large amount of cryptocurrency that they are unable to access or use, and they offer to give the wallet to someone else who can use it. When the unsuspecting victim adds their own funds to the wallet (to pay for gas fees for example to withdraw other tokens), they are actually sending their money to the scammer, who then drains the wallet using bots or other automated means.
This is a common method used by scammers to lure victims with the money they left in their wallets, and when the victims open these wallets with the private keys and recovery phrases and deposit their money in order to withdraw the money left by the scammers, they lose all the money they deposited, so we must be careful not to trust strangers and we must know that there is no free money that we can get in a jiffy, and there is no quick wealth, so it is better not to use or open a wallet that does not belong to us, or whose data has been sent to us, because it is a trap for us without our feeling.
1140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many signals don't work now like they use to be on: January 05, 2023, 06:48:37 PM
signals are always such bullshit, most of the time, when their signal is right they are just stating the obvious, now these signals are showing its true colour that is they never correct from very beginning, these signals maker just don't have any idea about the future prices, they are just random guessing and if one of them is right they'd call themselves genius.
It is very difficult to predict the direction that the bullish or bearish market path will take, so yes, most or most of these signals are bullshit, just guesses and expectations not based on any basis or on current market conditions resulting from people who do not have sufficient experience in the technical analysis only their purpose is to bring followers for their social accounts and targeting beginners in order to pay monthly money as a subscription to their paid signals channels, and in the end, the beginners get wrong and incorrect signals and lose their capital, so every person who wants to make gains must do his own research and analysis and not rely on the advice and signals of others, as the investment is a personal decision.
