DGC, NVC pools are down for 30 minutes for maintenance.
I don't think DGC is transferring Unconfirmed -> Confirmed balances since the maintenance. It is, there was actually a glitch during the maintenance where a bunch of wrong payments got put into unconfirmed, these will disappear soon.

I've been wanting to move over to this pool for a while now, but am currently stuck at port 80 pools due to a firewall. Is the only option to connect to a proxy outside of the firewall? Unfortunately port 7777 has no chance of being opened for me.
use stratum+tcp://pool2.us.multipool.us:80

It looks like the pool got stuck on MNC for about 8 hours while the www site was down. We lost a lot of potential on other coins, and drove MNC difficulty through the roof and prof is now 0.32. The last 5 blocks took over 2 hours, and it will take a while for it to recover.
yeah, I feel bad about MNC.. I've put safeguards into place that should not allow this to happen again.

So, the pool had a shitty night. The PXC client crashed about half hour after I went to bed and took the pool down for most of the night. The multiport was stuck on MNC for about 7 hours.
So, payouts are going to suck today. Sorry.
I did find the last of the places in the code that depended on every coin daemon being up, and added try/catch statements, so I guess the silver lining is that this should not happen again. I've tested, and the site no longer goes down if a coin daemon is unavailable.
Sorry for not posting this in the AM, but I only had enough time to get everything up and running before going out for the day.

I'm mining on pool2 to tryout the set difficulty. All my miners work at 64 but show 32 under "manage wokers". If I update the difficulty to anything else it just resets back to 32 and nothing changes on the workers. Am I missing something? using cgminer 2.11.3
Should be fixed now.

The pool will be down for maintenance for around an hour tomorrow night while I move some of the coin clients to a new server. I will post here when the downtime starts.

Flound would you plan to make a withdraws for novacoins after 10-20 confirmations like other nvc pools ?
The last time I lowered confirms to 120, the hot wallet ran dry for an unacceptable amount of time. I will try lowering it slowly, but I'd rather not have to raise it again after lowering it.

How exactly do you pay your server costs with no fees...?
Donations barely cover server costs I read earlier. Anyone know what's up with the current LKY boom? 7x as profitable as BTC! This happens every few days when the difficulty drops.

Donations and ads pay for the servers.

It would be nice to reduce LTC variance
With this in mind. Would you mind informing us how your pools pay? I'm guessing either proportional or PPLNS. Just curious what happens to our round shares if some time mining LTC is unable to find a block, if they are all kept and paid at the end of a round (proportional) or not. 750 MH is without question enough hashrate to mine litecoin.
I agree that for consistent mining that this hashrate is enough to pay consistently. I am not sure if it is enough for a pool that changes its direction multiple times a day. As I stated before, we have just over a 50% chance to find a block in one hour at this hashrate and difficulty. If we jump before finding a block of LTC then our work during that time *may* be in vain, pending the answer for the question I asked above. It doesn't really work like that. You will find one LTC block for every X shares submitted (on average) whether the shares are submitted consecutively or broken into different time periods. Shares don't build toward anything. Only the winning share matters, the rest become wasted effort every time a new block is found on the network.

Hey flound, are you on -48 for TRC? Just making sure. We passed block 181200 earlier today.
I am.

What's up with NVC? .20 has been sitting in unconfirmed for a loooong time.
NVC blocks take 520 confirmations to fully confirm, the pool pays out after 180.

Great idea, but can you add more alt-coins pls? I cant use your pool without many new forks (

big problem, mining pc shows hash rate of 487~ish KH/s yet it shows 0 in everything but Q and the line below has some random numbers, also seems the multiport pool isnt picking up my hash rate at all.
as in like this: Q:19 A:0 r:0 hw:0 e:0% u:0.0/n tq:0 st:3 ss:0 dw:18 nb:7 lw:41 gf:0 rf:0
something doesnt seem right and i have no idea what that second row is for, all i know is A usually has number of answers and E is efficiency
forgot to mention im running the multiport
username is TomSelleck89 am on CGMiner 2.9.7
You have 0 accepted shares, according to that output and 19 shares in queue.
