Actually, I started going to the gym a bit more recently, and I started to think that if ever I was homeless, a gym membership would be a good thing to attempt to maintain.

Bitcoiners taking over a gym near you!

p.s. Speaking of Mark..and semi fearing standing on that same ground yefi..lol.  Did you all see the AMA he did on reddit the other day. Not going to go into depth about it..but...its seems he is growing up some.(I hope) Meaning what I saw seemed heart felt and sincere. I still think he has a lot to answer for..but..its a start.

He's improving at living amongst our alien species. Somewhere out there amongst the stars is a planet where he belongs, however.

There are several aberration's if you look at the data from MtGox. This is wash trading imho and does not reflect an accurate model. In fact I regularly exclude that sort of data in my regression's as it is so patently artificial. YMMV.

I'm surely not on safe ground defending Gox, given the incompetency and interference of Mark, but I would lend more credence to the data than that. Gox did have trading fees, and that date represents the big capitulation to the $2 range after the 2011 'bubble'.

In any case, ever ever ever is not so ever ever ever.

Interesting stat - https://twitter.com/cryptorae/status/984414418829131779/photo/1

Today had the highest 1hr volume in Bitcoin ever ever ever.

Not to be a pedant, but...

14 Nov 2011. Nearly 100k in one hour at Gox: https://bitcoincharts.com/charts/mtgoxUSD#rg60zigHourlyzczsg2011-11-13zeg2011-11-15ztgSzm1g10zm2g25zv

12,288 game: I'll hedge my bets and go for 10th April 2020, thanks.

My gut tells me a hammer has just as much deadly potential, if not more.

The Dnepropetrovsk maniacs seemed to be quite effective with them.

Or maybe he means  City of London, I have seen some conspiracy sites claim that it's not a part of Britain (it is). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_London

Not heard of that before. I was referring to the divide between London and the rest of the country. They voted in favour of remain during Brexit, and some Londoners argued for separation from the UK.

If you want to complain about London, complain about Brexit.  Now there’s a fuck up of mass proportions.  All the work is going to Dublin and Frankfurt.

I didn't think London was a part of Britain? Thought they had their own little exclave down there? Tongue

Don't drink bottled water. There are micro-particles of plastic in them.

There's microplastics in most tap water as well. We probably deserve this for treating the world like a latrine.

Perhaps Bitcoin will recover 15 times faster.

Just remember with these accelerated timescales that the valuers are ultimately human and our timescales are precisely x1 what they were in the palaeolithic.

... allow me to butt in ... while the total expansion capacity of bitcoin value might seem infinite from our current 'small-time' vantage point it is most definitely finite, realistically we have at most 1.5 to 2 pimple tricks remaining (1 order of magnitude expansion over previous). A btc valuation in the USD300-700k range puts it at ~10trillion market cap or ~10% of global fiat monetary supply.

Another pimple trick after that would be almost total global domination of all monetary assets, which while possible is probably not realistic or desirable anyway.

Sounds reasonable to me. To reach gold parity in one or two decades is really an astounding feat. I do fear a bear market like no other after that point however. Nasdaq took 15 years to recover after the dot-com run-up, and perhaps Bitcoin will suffer such fate before we see more pedestrian and sustainable growth.

this is the typical american illeterate answer I was expecting...

You are probably right. White males shooting other white males isn’t particularly interesting.

Women can be homicidal maniacs too. This is a great achievement for equality, and hopefully we can see more of this in the future to close the gender gap.

One simple rule. Make me laugh, get a merit. It's automatic.

Further there are too many planned mine expansions.  A single planned mine expansion in Australia (BHP Olympic Dam) would yield 15,000 tonnes of gold and 90,000 tonnes of silver.  That’s almost 10% of historical global supply from a single mine. No market can absorb that type of new supply without collapsing the price.

Is that really reserves? Sounds like it should be resources. The Gold Council page you linked to suggests there's 54 kt of reserves worldwide... so that's a lot.

Im so wrong I could certainly buy and sell you 10x (probably 100x) over. Cause of all the bad crypto decisions Ive made.

I wouldn't doubt it. I seem to recall you were one of the few who called for $1000+ in 2013. 25,000%+ is a very nice return, congrats! Smiley

April's fool i suppose...

Oh god no. I hate this feckin day. Every smart alec and wisecrack comes out the woodwork to shamelessly taunt you.  Angry

When bankers run the world behind the scenes controlling the laws and the money printing presses they can own and control anything they wish too.

Bitcoin isn't a problem you can print your way out of. All it will achieve (or all it has achieved) is to make the believers richer and more resolute.

What they want to do is divert money away into paper claims on bitcoins - but they're going to face difficulty on that front.

Might I recommend something in a jojo69? Spacious, handles well. Only one owner.

I burnt out the ass clutch on the last jojo69 I was in. I need something with fewer bowel movements.
