1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of IEO is Exchange on: April 29, 2020, 07:23:05 AM
I will keep repeating myself over and over for new projects that the success of an IEO is top exchanges, no matter how good your use case is, if you choose p2pb2b or vindax over Okex or binance just have it at the back of your mind that failure awaits you with 80% chance over 100%
the differences between the top exchanges and this low IEO rated exchanges is not the dump of coin raise or listed but the research and demand placed on the project that list with them. Such projects listed have very active community, good roadmap, relevant and reliable partners and the team have track record in the space. Some of these exchanges may not list projects with competitive project idea which does not mean they are bad projects. The scam trend taught me to look more into team before the project idea or product.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Takes Place Amidst Pandemic on: April 28, 2020, 01:32:39 PM
there is a lot of reaction over the idea of quarantine and isolation lately both from medical personnel and political analyst, statistics showing more fatality in areas of lockdown. I believe the measure was only taken at the early stage of the disease for observation of infection and spread. With pandemic situation there are other diseases killing people as well that are contagious maybe not in the extent of Corvid 19. The world has to go on and that's where we are coming from before the economic situation kills more than the virus. As we expect the approval of the vaccines lets take necessary health measures, be confident and get the economy working again.
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CARTESI | BINANCE | The Operating System for DApps on: April 28, 2020, 11:42:33 AM
Cartesi is more than just a dapp project, pls do not compare with Harmony, to me Cartesi is more better, more surprises will come and this will make Cartesi grow up in value better than what Happened with Harmony
Yes, ONE (harmony) is only hot when it brings profits to investors in a short time. Now that everything has been completed in the roadmap, it seems that the Harmony team no longer has good plans for the future business. Recently they have not updated, only Cartesi. This will be one of the great alts in the future, they have got great financial management. Investors will soon be rich if Cartesi continue to maintain this performance.
I believe binance demands much for prepared roadmap from any project that it will list, I dont believe Harmony could not have been silent for no reason. THere should be partnering and development that should be upcoming but not in the public. I dont understand Cartesi tokenomics too much but trust binance to make right choice of project for their investors.
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The growth of cryptocurrency on: April 28, 2020, 11:26:32 AM
I got to know about bitcoin through thepiratebay, online torrent download site (2011) but never understood the use. Bitcointalk forum made the knowledge comprehensive and give opportunity as a community to interact with professionals in the blockchain/cryptocurrency field. The earning program of bounty gave other platforms to accrue some bitcoin into my wallet and growth of altcoins allow adoption to all part of the world. There is no interactive platform from cryptocurrency as this forum and it has done so much for the growth of the space in its early days
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A recap of 2019 crypto scams on: April 27, 2020, 11:00:35 AM
I remember reading in 2018 about a scam list that had some projects in there where the team was still in existence and still listed and still ongoing, I guess you can say the same thing about your list, which is why some teams are running against you.

I think we have to first define exactly what is a scam to make it clear.

Just because a company has not run away with money does not make them NOT a scam,,, right?

So that is my suggestion,,, make a definition for what you see is a scam first:)
Last year put a different view for scam in the space; we saw more exit scam yet coin on big exchanges and trade on speculation , exchange hack with inside team members involvement. Scam in ICO was more of not getting exchange but now they get listed and proceed to flooding token in market and manipulation at varying level. We are still suffering from the bad sentiment from the scam both from ICO and exchanges
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Deal with worst Market on: April 27, 2020, 10:42:17 AM
I really like to know how to exit early from dumping projects, It could be disturbing in this market but in most cases of dump for project on big exchanges there seem to inside information for some investors that allow big profit. Some of the information are paid for and some are results relationship, not from technical analyst. However, most investors are not that interested in purchase until market revamps.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: April 26, 2020, 02:16:21 PM
I think you are expecting too much in this current situation. Within the last 24 hours it has dumped by more than 9% and nothing is there to stop it. Bitcoin is going through correction at the moment and it will drag Ethereum too.

I expect the price of Ethereum to reach $235 to $245 by month end. Before halving it should be somewhere around $300 to $400 range.
In this cycle we could be surprise, if we expect a life changing profit it could rise that high to $10000. Like it is predicted we see lately more measure had tied bitcoin with ethereum in the next cycle. I see ethereum leading the altcoin season and funding of the space. Bitcoin will remain gentle in the rise and after hitting the ATH as usual. I felt x20-50 is high place to climb and more motivated with response to the pandemic with the stimulus around the globe
1128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges WITHOUT KYC? on: April 26, 2020, 02:06:05 PM
I can't remember any central exchange not asking for KYC documents anymore. If they are not asking they are going to enforce registering your phones too. It already feels like cryptocurrency market had been compromised by the biggest mafia, its fortunate that DEX are also around.

Try Bisq they don't ask KYC or better yet check my signature.
Bisq can allow KYC because they are not known, they have low trade volume, few coin and listed low in the exchange rank. The last time I checked they trade more anonymous coin. I feel Government need the KYC more than the team behind those exchange and that worries me more. Dex dont have the privilegdes of the centralized exchanges. Some are more of a blockchain than others but I believe it is a problem to consider solved in the space. Exchanges are great force in the space.
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig W. only claims to be Satoshi, because he knows the real Satoshi is dead? on: April 25, 2020, 02:46:40 PM
The myth of satoshi identity that I usually consider to be true, is that satoshi is not a person but an organisation, organisation with government support. It is difficult now for anyone to claim the glory. I also believe America security agent knows too much on the invention. I dont expect such an approach given from countries like USA, Russia and China to the currency. They are liberal and tolerable to bitcoin especially and some developments that allow its adoption. This countries hold the largest share of the space and keep on encouraging the mining. In a time like this that the coin shows reason for global and government adoptions, some people are leaving for fiat that have so lost value.
1130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another crypto youtuber given a ban for breach of terms of service. on: April 25, 2020, 02:01:20 PM
Youtube want to purge all crypto content
All these are just conspiracy. Facebook and twitter did worse and now considering a share in the asset. These men are very active on twitter and share similar thought there and even extensive on youtube for video lesson lovers. I consider Tone Vays a matured speaker than in last 4 years, when he was lousy . I consider him conservative in crypto prediction than ever and he is long term maxima-list and investors, both in his project and others, he did a lot to attract by bitcoin give away in the early days on bitcoin. He is back on youtube and he is not the type that can be intimidated.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: War affects the Entire Cryptocurrency? on: April 24, 2020, 09:53:32 PM
Well to some extent it does as it was clearly seen that the entire crypto market was in an upward swing when the rumours of war between Iran and US was intense. You can see clearly that once the tempers cooled down the crypto market is reclining back to its previous level.
It did go up then as it were because the US was involved in a war with (not just Iran) but any other country would also have made the price go up. Really, it wasn't Bitcoin price alone that went up. Gold also spiraled up the same time. This happens all the time whenever America has any issue with other countries.  People, in their fright, tend to look for a safe haven at a time like that and Bitcoin/Gold/Chef becomes easy pick. However, it doesn't mean that Bitcoin price will go up or down if other countries (that isn't the US) go to war.
There is no war particular among nations in the world at the moment, Especially with America and Iran. I think china might be the next world enemy if all the conspiracy theories are not properly managed. With the crude oil price dump there might be a different approach to hasten the revamp of the world economy, after few weeks that the lockdown is relax in the developed countries we will see wind of change. Gold does not enjoy the volatility of bitcoin and does not go through halving,so it wont enjoy the hype with the cycle.
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Xcard a scam? on: April 24, 2020, 09:35:03 PM
CEO is usually active at weekends especially Sundays, he could be available to attend to your questions this weekend if you try. Try to ask question that he wont avoid,by being polite a little. Contrary to some people observation on his last response, he was still active in the group this month and answer questions I asked. Sometimes I look for member in a group, especially real members, You will be surprised by some personalities in the group if you research.
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto predictions on: April 23, 2020, 02:28:33 PM
I used to trust most prediction until bear market came, prediction was easy in bull market that bear market. Bear market is so painful with losses and it could be difficult to accept some sour truth from experienced crypto maxima-list. Most prediction are speculative but the reliable ones are long term. I have only stick with long term mentors with  2 bullrun record and they have been 70-80% right. They always demand patience for interested followers.
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I 'delete' useless tokens from my wallet? on: April 23, 2020, 02:12:51 PM
No mate. That's not possible rather what you will have to do is create another wallet address, send tokens you wish not to see in your main wallet to the new address by so doing, you get to see only tokens you want in your main wallet. There's no option to delete or remove tokens on the blockchain aside transferring it to another wallet address.
Its disheartening that we cant delete some tokens from our ERC20 wallet especially but I think it should be enabled in the future. Even those token sent to the new wallets might one day be swapped for another token , which is high probability if one deals with high number of token. So it is unavoidable problem, It needs solution, I wish it can also be burnt. I have several of them, some as airdrop that I didnt request, which are less than a dollar, useless and insignificant.
1135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Negative in Value? on: April 22, 2020, 01:36:49 PM
Such can only happen in centralized project like crude oil not a decentralized coin like bitcoin, if bitcoin ever gets as low as $100 then the space is gone. Those in the tokenomics understand some of this and spend a lot to stay above some prices. It is also a result of politics and pandemic. At that negative I believe someone is already paying for it, Government most likely. The price is not really negative or less than $0, it means oil is in excess supply and no demand at all for it.
1136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin set to RISE into the Halving? on: April 22, 2020, 01:19:05 PM
There is a way the space gives surprises and I dont doubt $20k this year, maybe not immediately after halving. The expectation is high for pump before halving and bictoin price dont usually follow people's expectation. It is very worrisome though if we dont see any pump till the halving cause we expect a dump after halving, the resistance at the moment cant keep the price high. All I expect is a mild altseason while more money keeps bitcoin above $5000, this doesnt usually happen but sentiment will be worse if bear market continues
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Xcard a scam? on: April 22, 2020, 12:32:34 PM
The CEO is not new in the space, I know he is very rich, he acquired some projects as well that are still struggling. You can check him on linkedin, he got recommendation for highly placed individuals in businesses and thats all i hold on him for now. I dont appreciate his small team and his regular, where are the other team members? He stated how much the project needs to be implemented especially for the partnership, which can't be raised in most ICO/IEO today, something in hundreds of millions. Many projects had raised enough fund and wont come out now until after halving. More than 30% of project from binance IEO had gone lower than IEO price. I will never support any project team but we just need a little trust, we are bounty hunters what will the investors do? lets be patient it is every where in space.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: April 21, 2020, 11:49:22 AM
Bubbalex usually do review of his campaign, which I expect other bounty manager to adopt. I also want mangers to take record of the twitter followers, youtube view, telegram group members etc before and after campaign, probably take a poll in the group after the campaign on how members get to know about the project. I believe this information might help to focus on relevant social media channel to attract investors and increase campaign there.
1139  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: April 21, 2020, 10:27:08 AM
People will be disappointed with pandemic effect on some poorer countries. Most of them dont have the means of taking data and information from those countries may not be reliable. Countries densely populated with no proper city plan can affect the spread, also health infrastructure put in place and proactive measure by the government; testing process, treatment and disposal of the dead. Vaccines are likely to be available before it hit the poorer countries
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: April 20, 2020, 09:46:58 AM

Putting your money to USDT should have been done when BTC price was still $20k but then anyway, you still can do that every time the chart says its the peak and overbought. Somehow I was able to minimize my loss after holding some altcoins I thought would spike up since last year. Try day trading to get few bucks if you can, sadly it didn;t worked for me but for some I guess it works.

I hope he understand the position of staying in BTC at this time, the worst possible dump is $1000 and highest possible pump is over $100k, the price of bitcoin is just above $7000. It depends on the capacity for risk but it looks like the wise decision is to stay in bitcoin until the bull run. You cant be too careful but can be smart to stay long, try stable coin in  small percentage of your holdings but for now I dont hold any stable coin, am even scared to hold any while I see those pump and not benefit.
