My guts are full of pus and vinegar. You wouldn't be comfortable, and I would feel responsible.

But yeah, ok.

Thanks for being honest. I think I'll probably look for nicer digs. Sad

AMA

Can I live in your butt as a parasitic worm and drill bloody fistulas through your body? (David Blaine would be jealous.)

It's ok, I paid an average of just under $100 each for them.

Yeah, if I fucked up like that, I'd want Bitcoin to die too.

Been here 5 years next week.
Yes, very new.
Idiot.

It takes something quite special to be here five years and still be a newb.

Sold my coins at $500  each.
I feel ill.
 Embarrassed

I don't normally find the misfortune of others funny but that made me laugh out loud.  Fortunately, kid's bones are flexible Wink

If he'd won the bet, he'd only gamble it all again. He's ultimately not a victim of OKEx, but of his own shortcomings.

I would gladly trade places with romneymoney...

The picture still isn't inconsistent with a more rapid recovery. I'd like to see a bottom by May-June time, preferably above $4K. A repeat of 2014 can't exactly be waved off either, but it seems almost a little too obvious and easy? Maybe I'm overcomplicating my analysis, but if there's one thing I've learnt from Bitcoin, it's that price rarely treads the easy path.

If you try market selling on Binance you will quickly work out that the books are pathetically thin for even major pairs. I will happily call Binance as being 98% wash trading.

I've always doubted their numbers. They seemed to become the top-trading exchange virtually overnight.

only 24 left ----let the bull season start again so we can have a new game in here
with a little bull sentiment in my haed i hope to erase the last 4 so we would have 20 names and withe a little extra bull thoughts i'm hoping 28/08/2018 will be the last date of this list , BUT we will see offcourse whats gonna happen  Smiley

What, no love for the yefi? Tongue

I do think Bitserve has a good chance if we see a quick recovery. He picked a very nice range of dates. Hopefully we won't be in for cryptowinter, otherwise it's gonna be luckgenough56.

Arstechnica claims he retains a 12% stake in gox. Karpleles took all the flak and did all the hard work while he raked in 12%. If Karpeles gets a payout from the bankruptcy I expect McCaleb will get his 12%.

https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2014/05/original-mt-gox-founder-i-lost-around-50000-in-sites-collapse/

Quote
McCaleb said that he is no longer involved with the company—which eventually became the world’s largest Bitcoin exchange—since he sold it to Mark Karpeles. Karpeles is now at the center of the Tokyo-based company’s breakdown and bankruptcy and has said little about how Mt. Gox collapsed. McCaleb does, however, retain a 12 percent stake in the company, according to a company document leaked earlier this year

McCaleb kept quiet about his stake, but this leaked gox document revealed it.

https://www.scribd.com/document/209535200/Business-Plan-MtGox-2014-2017

This is from page 3.

I believe he did so after that leaked business plan was written.

He claims he sold his stake on twitter here.

Reuters says he sold it to a Cypriot company, Sunlot Holdings for BTC1. Apparently the sale may never have been finalized, however.

He negotiated getting about 10% of all gox's ongoing profits after selling it, and if Karpeles gets billions from its remaining bitcoins the stellar guy will probably get his 10%.

He sold his stake in Gox when they went bust to some company for $1 iirc.

In any case, the guy has made a shitload from XRP. I forget all the numbers, but he owns a greater % of its total supply than Satoshi does Bitcoin.

Feel free to join me next fork, we can bath in the blood of a thousand noobs.

Sure. (If I ever end up in such a wretched and desperate state that my life becomes that of a sand fly.)

Today I found out that I had a position that I totally forgot about still open on an exchange...
Feeling a bit retarded now...

I've rewarded you with one merit, now who's retarded eh?

I pumped and dumped it long time ago lol

Aw, you cute, little, perfidious worm.

You stick to ballet and I'll stick to trading gee Smiley

I think you better leave the trading up to Gee, actually.

Btw, what happened to your BTCP bet?

I'll bet you .1 btc btcp will be trading on bittrex Kucoin and many others before the end of the month

I'll bet you .1 BTC (more if you want) that it doesn't get listed for trade on Bittrex by the end of the month. If you're interested, tell me who you'd like to use for escrow from this list of trusted members. Cheers.

I'm 100% positive that the girl in the middle, with tassels on her nipples, is a ladyboy.

Were you touched by her noodly appendage?

What if owners of blacklisted addresses spray satoshis at every address in the blockchain and taint the whole thing? What if they do it quickly before any new rules are in place?

Most people haven't got the technical skills to move the clean bitcoins to a new address, and leave the dirty satoshis in the old address. They will just spend the dirty satoshis mixed to together with the clean ones.

Boo-ya, another airdrop! Feed me those dirty, naughty satoshis *nom nom nom*

I get that he’s just making an innocent joke but the autism is strong with this one.

Give it a few generations and we'll be there.

Oh??? my?? so much respect for you!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOT

Your story is so convincing that you sold your BTC at the top of the two most recent exponential peaks, and you happen to buy back at the lowest too (most likely) and you are here talking a bunch of nonsense, even though you happen to know exactly when to buy and when to sell...   Yeah right...  Roll Eyes

I would like to have some of what you are smoking.

Well, I guess if this confabulation makes him feel better... the images of park benches and brown bags probably haunt him.

https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html
Addresses richer than 1,000 USD : 2,145,375

Finder's numbers seem off. If we use US GDP to Global GDP as a benchmark, we'd be looking at ~$270B invested worldwide. Find it hard to believe we'd have a market cap of just $350B if that were true.

I'm sure I'm the first one to notice that we're on page 20000 !!!

Congratulations on snatching post #400,000. Unlike page number, I think that'll be yours forever.
