1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Raspberry Pi Vs Arduino on: July 05, 2015, 04:38:32 AM
Arduino for sure. You can mine out of it!!
Arduino is very flexible and you can use it for many purposes. It's best suited for hardware purposes.Adruino is very simple and easy to code.
In Raspberry need a separate OS to make it run!!
I have never worked on Raspberry,so I don't know much about it.
But Raspberry pie has its own advantages.Raspberry pi is much faster than Adruino
Mine? It doesn't even have a GPU, so that you can mine some alt. A CPU (almost as GPU) is useless for mining purpose and makes it no better for mining.
1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain split of 4 July 2015 on: July 05, 2015, 04:33:57 AM
Can someone advice me if this split would affect the price of bitcoin anyhow? If yes how?
1163  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: July 01, 2015, 10:43:36 AM
Primedice scammed me! I lost 0.31 to a glitch, and have yet to recieve a refund. They haven't even fixed the bug.

2/10 support, responded once asking me to "explain more". I responded with long paragraphs and pictures. 2 months later and no response.

Watch out! There's lots of bugs, you might be unlikely to encounter, but when they happen you will be mad!
They seem to ignore the bug troll guys out there. There are too many people like you candy.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Raspberry Pi Vs Arduino on: July 01, 2015, 08:03:32 AM
What do you think?
I would go with Rpi. Arduino is way less documented than Pi is I.e making pi easy to use + pi has a much wider audience.
1165  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Bitcoin Debit Card | Spend Your Bitcoins Anywhere! on: July 01, 2015, 01:10:13 AM
3 months and haven't received yet.
If you haven't received them in 3 months then I don't think you'll get them now(most probably lost while shipping). You might consider requesting a new one.
1166  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Bitcoin Debit Card | Spend Your Bitcoins Anywhere! on: June 30, 2015, 12:30:02 PM
Got my card several days ago after 8 days shipping, activated the card earlier today, then go to local mart give it a try, and paid my bill very smoothly, satisfied with the card operation.

Some thoughts about this card:
1) Fees of POS seems rather reasonable.

2) The monthly inactivity fee and 5 times a month transaction is a big turnoff.
Under this strict condition I wonder if I will keep using this card or not.

3)The limit of this card is way too low even if you pass the so-called basic verification, and in essence this kind of verification is totally not "basic" at all, since you got to submit all your Passport or ID card , and your residential address proof.
From my past experiences with other websites which also need these same kind of verification, but if I submit all these documents to them, I got FULL verification except BIT-X !

Thank you for the feedback! Once you complete basic verification (which is a standard among Bitcoin exchanges), you may submit a form with a few questions (the bank questionnaire) which will allow you to have the largest limits.
Any updates on lowering down the inactivity fee?
1167  Other / New forum software / Re: user restrictions upon thread creation on: June 28, 2015, 04:18:51 AM
This will be a sort of censorship or am I wrong? I understand what you wanted to say/request but I don't agree with you, sorry. It will be really an useless idea restrict who can post in your thread/topic because it will destroy the concept of a forum.
Aren't we allowed to have certain local thread rules, like da dice campaign has for marcotheminer , they have disallowed him from posting there. I guess this feature will just help in enforcing that local rule.
1168  Local / India / Re: Can India cope with bulk buy-sell orders? on: June 28, 2015, 04:13:36 AM
I don't think our ecosystem is yet capable of fulfilling such orders. Are we?
True that there aren't much people who can fulfil the such requirements bit I reckon that there are a few of them in every part of India.
1169  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Bitcoin Debit Card | Spend Your Bitcoins Anywhere! on: June 28, 2015, 04:09:28 AM
I am confused.  Who do I send a message for a free debit card for the BIT-X free debt card that is listed in the campaign thread?  Thanks!  Smiley
Cuz they don't know if you are interested in the card or not, and so you need to send them a message informing that you want it for free.

Hey, is anyone else having the problem where the SMS verification is delayed for around ~5 minutes before it is on your phone?  Also, the text message contains the code but also a bunch of question marks.  Is this a bug?  It's been happening to me for the last month or so.

Odd. I'll pass it onto the team. You may enable Google Authenticator instead in your Profile.
I also have faced this problem. The delay is sometimes as long as 5-10hours, I have to choose to receive a phone call in these situations.

scan completed no virus was detected ...

there are some malwares that a virus scanner cannot be detected.. Just be happy that its a small amount that has been stolen and not a big amount.
How can be people so sure that the money went away in a scam this wasn't a trick to fool us?

You might ask the same question in return.

Are you sure the user didn't do something out of the ordinary?
But isn't I likely that people are more interested in fooling the websites to thug out extra money from them.

1173  Other / Off-topic / Re: The craziest shit you can buy with bitcoins right now? on: June 15, 2015, 03:56:32 AM
Well there is still bark island not as crazy as some things listed in this thread though Smiley
https://www.bitpremier.com/5-real-estate/1407-private-35-ha-island-in-ns-canada

Only $125,000? That's a cheap private island!

Well it is in Nova Scotia not much over there to stimulate the economy so the prices are pretty low across the board in general
With the death of the Cod fishing industry and offshore oil only in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia does not have that many economic boosting activities that lead to higher land prices.
Hence cheap islands, that said if you believe they can build a tourist presence, Island collecting then turning them into gaming islands for paintball capture the flag etc and advertising them for Bitcoin would be one way to get some cash back  Wink
That or convince them to start selling horse shit to other Canadians around the world more on that below ^^.

He-He fresh from Slovenia
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tF7HYRH_xt8

A marketing guru had an idea that would seem doomed to fail: let people send a box of horse shit to anyone, anonymously, by paying with Bitcoin.

In 30 days, we made whopping $10,120 in sales, without spending a penny on advertisements or marketing in general. More than 490,000 unique visitors generated hundreds of thousands social shares, likes, tweets and comments. We got media attention from almost 500 websites; and referral traffic from 1,625 sources in total. As of December 4th, we've already shipped poop to 36 different countries.

(This would be level 2 above glitter bombs building up an arsenal of items to mail enemies ^^)
Also for those cases where you just want to tell someone like your ex they are a pile of Horse S**t, anonymously (Ok maybe not that one a bit too obvious and would mean spending even more money on her ha-ha, i'll go with a neo-feminist, ISIS if you found one of their mailing addresses or the good old Nigerian Scammer)

They're definitely not the first business to come up with that idea since I believe it's already been done a few times. In fact, the first one I saw was probably from around the mid 2000's if I remember correctly.

this is too much for a goat
the average price for a male goat is 50$ and maybe 75$ for female
they produce good milk for making feta *yum*

in my country, the price of adult male goats around $ 100 - $ 300, and for an adult female goat around $ 80 - $ 150.
it because here is very much demand

Why are the female goats cheaper than the males? Shouldn't female goats be more useful since they produce (goat) milk?
I don't know much but its possible that males goats could be used for selling their semen + female's goat's milk is pretty bad and has a very low selling price in most of the nations.
1174  Other / Off-topic / Re: iF YOU WERE A DICTATOR, what would you do ? on: June 06, 2015, 02:09:23 PM
If I was a dictator I would overthrow myself an introduce a socialist democracy.
Then who the hell would have made you a dictator?

Who made Hitler a dictator ? He did it himself irrescpective of his character. This is just a condition given.
So, hitler wanted to become a dictator, here this guy just wants to introduce socialist democracy again, so there is no point that he will himself become a dictator(like hitler did).
So his answer stands invalid.

I would have brought back democracy in our country cause its my personal opinion that democracy is always the best 😊

too bad i can't see how bitcoin will take advantage of this, with high fees and chargeback still there, i hope it boost the price at least
How will charge back be possible with bitcoin? Wont you just take the bitcoin and take it away from the reach of paypal so they cannot touch it again and cannot push you for a chargeback?

No. I disagree. Its the price fluctuations that make it attractive and not stability.
