1161  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 04, 2020, 12:00:10 AM
I always believed it won't replace fiat currency because decentralized character won't be changed. People already learned the value of crypto nowadays, and it won't be changed on their mindset. Although more people already thought that crypto would be the best options to eliminate fiat problems in terms of transactions, but it's not that easy to divert into something unusual for other non crypto users. That's why it need to mature more often before we implement this kind of system to each individuals.
1162  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN we should sell BTC after halving as a LONG-TERM invest? on: March 03, 2020, 10:58:22 PM
I have come across many predictions on Facebook, Twitter, reddit and tradingview on bitcoin heading towards $100,000 after halving and to some extent i do agree with them. When we should sell bitcoin should be when we think it is OK for us and we are in profits.
One million dollars is a big figure for Bitcoin's current position
But it can be over $ 20,000 this year.
I would like to see  opinion of people about the highest bitcoin price this year Smiley
One million dollars prediction is not too close to the reality if that's what the manipulators want the investors to think. Some people just ridiculously predict without a close valid information to back them up. And since the last ATH of Bitcoin was $20,000 I'm a little certain that the next ATH would be beyond $30,000+ or more.

On that certain level of price range, I would prefer to decide selling of my asset once that $30k or highest is achieved. For sure the market will undergo rumors that may trigger panic selling or rather panic buying. It depends upon how each mindset will be brought up, what's very important during this time is we should be smart enough to decide the best options that we need to do.
1163  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will the Halving affect the BTC price? on: March 03, 2020, 09:14:18 AM
In essence, because halving has an effect on miners, it is very likely that transaction costs will rise again. in addition, the need for bitcoin makes prices more expensive, whereas mining no longer produces large amounts of bitcoin assets, however, mining yields will be reduced by half.
if the demand for bitcoin increases, this will make prices rise, and many people speculate that the upcoming halving will make the price of bitcoin reached its new ATH.

It's been a long time since people speculates that the price will constantly increase, but it was a failure. Everything went so bad after several changes had broken down the momentum, in which possibly help the demand to rise further. I am still hopeful that bitcoin could reach the new ATH without any problems, and successfully achieve a progressive trend this 2020.
1164  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto mass adoption achievement on: March 02, 2020, 10:56:51 PM
Since Bitcoin is a decentralized platform then it really is up to the people. The way I see it is that those people who are advertising Bitcoin are driven by their interests especially for the company who are bound in cryptocurrency but there are also people who are spreading the news so that other people could also take advantage of the benefits that BTC offers.

By taking those advantages, they should look on the importance with declining value as an opportunity for everybody to buy at lowest possible cost. With that strategy they'll acquire higher profit when bitcoin price starts to pump a good value, and on the promising increase; each asset will grow substantially with stable demand.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the odds of winning the casino on: March 02, 2020, 10:08:46 PM
Still I am not thinking that it is thw strategy will help one to earn profit in playing gambling. But, of course it do have a higher chance that goals will be achieved.
Actually OP wanted to share the house edge involved with various kind of games and it is fair to say that the game with the least edge is expected to have the highest winning chance for the gambler and hence I see why most of the gamblers prefer dice over sports betting and other kinds of games.

Yet, it is still the luck that matter and I have known some of my friends that are really lucky by always winning on their bets. I was kind envy for that friend for I do not know how did he always win in betting. He is always lucky all the time and to which it help him earn profit and buy something out of the luck. I just wish I that I will be always lucky like.him.
I don't want to but I have to agree that some people are more lucky as compared to others and even the law of averages does not apply to them Embarrassed.

I am one of the sports betting fan and feel that it has the best chance to win despite the big house edge because we can analyse data and it's much easier to find why to pick a team/player and why not to.

Sportsbetting is more accurate instead of other betting platforms of casino like slot games. Your skills of analysis will be more enhanced compared with other lucky betting bets. The most important aspect to have is knowing your best pick of the game in order to come up with a potential set play to catch the wins.
1166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need to be more cautious than ever on: March 02, 2020, 08:19:28 PM
sometimes the words and actions are not synchronous, in my opinion right now it's good to get out for a while from trading, when the market gets better maybe that's the right time to re-enter.

This time is very difficult for us to stay in the market because the market still goes down, and there is no sign of increasing back. It is better to watch the market only without buying because if we still trying to buy the coin, I am afraid that we can get in a trap by buying at a high price. Maybe we need to calm down to see where the market will move, and if somehow, the price can give us the sign to bounce again, then we can try to buy some amount of the coin so we can try to make a profit in this situations.
We are seeing an important recovery in the market, after reaching 8400 the price has recovered more than 400 dollars which is a good sign, however I do not really believe the market is going to keep going up, the panic for the coronavirus is spreading around the world so most investors are nervous about investing in a speculative asset like bitcoin, so most likely we are going to get to the halving at a price close to what we are seeing now, however there is also the possibility the price goes down before the halving just as it has happened during the previous halvings.

That percentage of price recovery earned a huge impact to holders who've been patiently halting their selling. They've been facing several struggles in life, but still kept choosing to stay focus on their principles to develop an assurance in order to fulfill each and every goals. Price will goes up and down, as part of volatile market so fluctuations could be visible at all times.
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III on: March 02, 2020, 12:05:08 PM
What an absolutely embarassing video lol.

How on earth can Wilder come out saying he's a king and that he will rise again, after blaming his terrible performance on a 40lb costume lol. That doesn't sound like the words of a true King or a warrior.

Nobody wants to see the damn third fight. Fury got robbed in the first fight, and absolutely mauled him in the second fight. I think he might even kill him in the third if this trend continues.
Nobody wants to see death inside the ring, I'm pretty sure who will referee the fight will check the condition and what is happening in the ring so if Wilder still do that just run away and do not come out of his shield, we will have the same result, if he is the man then he must go and fight the man, not waiting for opening that did not arrive.

We will see their fight so aggressive if both boxer will show consistent attacks. If they won't ignore the instances, their chance of winning is highly potential at 100% success. However, if wilder or fury stands on their lucky punches and would take the winning knock outs; they're prepared and ready for the next division.

1169  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Rate Year2020 on: February 29, 2020, 11:39:11 AM
this year btc rate hope to $13000/$14000..?
im hold 2 btc 2018 jan $13900
TBH I also hope for the price to be around $14-16K before this year ends.
But I was also hoping for another ATH because of the hype from BTC halving this year.
But right now I am sticking up with $14-16K because it seem's hard to surpass it's current ATH.

The current situation of the market was not impressive, but still potential to reach a better future. Even $14k or $16k is very hard to obtain due to several factors that affects certain growth of bitcoin price this year. We're too early to speculate for any price, but what's important is we knew our bechmark for specific holdings.
1170  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon to accept bitcoin payments directly... the real breakthrough!? on: February 28, 2020, 02:14:57 PM
Every developments is a good news for all who've been following the footsteps of bitcoin, and now direct payments for online shopping has now begun to show off.
The thoughts is infinite and would gather more interesting information from all sectors that loved to see cryptocurrency showed intimate breakthrough towards physical marketplace.
1171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another decline of BTC expected on: February 27, 2020, 10:48:51 PM
https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2020/02/btc-hold-trend-line-decline
Is Bitcoin likely to keep going down, in your opinion? Are you selling/buying it?

I won't sell my bitcoin at this moment while it still continue to decline. The good about this opportunity, I can buy back bitcoin at a cheaper price compared from the last bounce. Once it goes down, don't miss any chances but rather grow your holdings in order to acquire huge profit when another increase might commence in the near future.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling or Casino gambling? on: February 25, 2020, 08:56:34 PM
I personally prefer to gamble in a casino the old fashioned way. Nothing is better, than playing some good old blackjack in Vegas. Nevertheless betting some online on big sports events, NFL or soccer is great fun too. Nowadays there are so many options to bet on, its just amazing. I really like that about playing online. But I would never play slots or blackjack online, thats just burning money without any real purpose.

Yes, nowadays, people will have many options to gamble, and if they don't want to play in the casino, they can visit the gambling site, which they can access from their computer, laptop, and even mobile phone. The technology helps people to access many things, including playing online gambling, and they will not have a problem with playing gambling online. Some people will prefer to play on the online gambling website because they don't have to visit the casino, and they can pass the regulations from the government about the gambling games.

Skipping the law, online gambling will always be the best options to choose for. Physical gambling casinos is the headache of most player due to tight and strict rules particular on their sources of income. Onlinr gambling can be played independently regardless of what status in life that a player had. I am pertaining to an anonymous identity of each person who can deal gambling discreetly without any further hassle.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: February 23, 2020, 10:04:49 PM
I haven't done anything like it. Even if I gamble seldomly I didn't record my loses and wins. I don't have problem with taxes because my country accepts cryptocurrency. I have read some that they record their wins and loses to determine how much they lose when using a strategy and use another strategy and see the result by comparing the first record to the new one. If you need to pay taxes then you should record it.

When you're going to do that, be sure to make it consistent, because it kinda boring to have in record of several loss instead of seeing many wins. Much better if we don't record the history of it, and whether what strategy you can make in the future; still gambling gives a lucky winning results and not an assurance of 100% wins.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 21, 2020, 03:08:25 AM
People will have a different opinion gambling. Perhaps, you consider gambling as a threat, but the other people will not think like that. People who know how they should do with gambling will think that gambling is a way to have fun and exciting activity. They can control themselves in gambling while they can enjoy their time to play any gambling games. That people know that gambling can make them spend more money because of the loss, but they can accept that, and they can limit their time and money on gambling.
It would be a threat on our finances seriously, because if the money involved with gambling touched our savings. There's no positive effect on our lives if we play gambling to a very worst stage. Having fun is good, but it should be in moderation to control your financial stability. As a gambler, preventing addiction must be learned beforehand to avoid sudden circumstances.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Illegal gambling in Asian football increased partly because of crypto? on: February 20, 2020, 10:40:33 PM
From the time of creation Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are blamed for money laundering.
We cannot say that it is not used for that, it is a real case. However, only the opponents are going to keep this as a feature of Bitcoin and neglect all the other positivities that stem from cryptos.
It's been used as we knew about it, but it's already evolving and many investors and establishments who also seen the benefits of this industry. We should look for the good side and not being stuck with the bad things that being broadcasted around the news. Look for the best side and aim to earned from this market.

easy man . many have claimed that this news is not legit  . not only this but other negative news related to crypto are prolly the same  . these guys prolly dont know if what is crypto and they are only linking it to many bad activities they can think of  . on asia , china is popular for illegal gambling operations like for example here on our country many chinese here owned and operate illegal gambling business without permit but not totally realted to sports  and crypto

Some groupd of rival gambling made a lot of trolls on fake news, so right now we must seek fact checking before considering those news becomes believable. Illegal gambling is rampant we don't have a proper confirmation yet that those are related to sports actually, through some per to per arrangements making their own bet but it's really beyond control because it's usually happening particular with football fanatics.
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 19, 2020, 10:38:49 PM
Gambling addiction is a mystery because you may not realize that you are getting addicted or even after severely got addicted.

Let us try to find how safely we have been into gambling so far.

Level 1 to level 3: (beginning levels)
1. New gambling ideas flashes in your mind even you are too busy with your studies or work or with friends/family.
2. Already lost in hundreds still you are strongly believing to recover them by innovating new strategy.
3. Made $50 then why not $100 or $500.

Level 4 to level 6: (intermediate levels)
4. Allocating 10% to 25% for your monthly gambling expenses from your regular income stream.
5. Forgetting your regular responsibilities and giving gambling the high priority.
6. Lost most of the friends as they are not supporting your view on gambling. You want to prove them how genius you are in gambling.

Level 7 to level 10: (severe levels)
7. Planning to be a full time gambler because your day job is not supporting you to live as you wish.
8. Facing problem of debits even you are into a highly paying day job.
9. Your spouse warn you about divorce or your family member discuss abut rehabilitation centers behind you.
10. You already became a Warren Buffet of gambling still not sure what is going on around you. You must need 50 hrs per day to fulfill your gambling needs.

Beginning level of gambling addiction do not need any treatment but taking break from gambling may cure you. If you are unable to take break then you are already into intermediate level ask help from friends to keep you busy.

Severely addicted category must need to visit doctors to change their life style. For this category gamblers, taking break from gambling temporarily solve addiction thirst but professional guidelines will help to recover completely. Rehabilitation centers will be the ultimate destination when everything else fail.

Find yourself where you are doing and get back to level zero.

Level 0:
Gamble while gamble and may forget it for months. Gamble only with friends and gambling is not an option to kill boredom.

There are many ways to divert boredom instead of doing gambling, but it's beyond control of a person who choose to stay on this entertainment. It's more fun and exciting because the use of monetary involvement, that's giving you the chance to win a lucky price. However that amount of money couldn't be an assurance for us to win exactly at 100%, since the probability was too little. Level of addiction can be assessed to 10% up to 200% level of an extreme habit.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite and admit that you are a gambler on: February 18, 2020, 10:32:33 PM
Practically everybody in this section is a gambler, that's why it's called the gambling section.

There's nothing wrong with gamlbing in-and-of itself, the problems come when it's a compulsive activity that the person can't control.

This can lead to loss, damaged family life and obviously financial/health issues.

Anybody who is in this state might also be in denial, and there's no point just calling them out about it because their own mind blocks the truth. Somebody needs to do it IRL in my opinion.

Sometimes a gambler didn't wanted to be revealed with his or her identity, and they've been keeping it discreetly. Most of these people who hid themselves are those online gamblers, and they liked to use virtual ways of gambling because it's more private and convenient instead of traditional physical gambling.
Admitting as a gambler isn't needed as long as you're keeping it yourself, you still remain to be anonymous.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: February 17, 2020, 05:48:02 PM
Yes, some gamblers really do win but unfortunately, it's a very small percentage, and the house always wins, this is the reason why gambling is a multi-billion dollar industry, and new online casinos are coming up to get a slice of this huge industry.
let's admit it gambling is addictive, gamblers always come back to play and this is what gambling casinos are taking consideration, they always have a returning client or customers, the money just keeps on coming.

There are some gamblers who do win from the casinos but not that much if we sum up all those gamblers around, it's only a small percentage of gamblers who are lucky and well discipline in terms of working with the system / strategy that they've created to take some edge against the house. Wise gamblers do limits themselves and always have directions once they've played inside the gambling house.

Limiting themselves is the very best strategy to do, since gambling has no definite assurance to gain a better lucky profit. Everything is always a luck and random chances, which we can't expect everytime gambling has been played all over. No matter what strategy will comes out, it doesn't matter as long as we've been doing it with effort and proper decisions.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 16, 2020, 09:32:27 AM
If you are regular gambler (except maybe you automate your bet to bet longterm, amount of money you can afford to lose ) without being profitable, then I guess you are somewhat addicted. Besides, am not sure if people make consistent profits from playing probability-based game like dice. People mostly play to get lucky and win huge available prizes.  Guess the prizes are worth playing for in moderation.

Addiction on gambling can't be played moderately because its in their mindset already that they're going to win. Unfortunately that's not the outcome of the desire they had, and making any potential profit was only subjected through luck which isn't the reality of any skills driven through gambling strategy of the one who performs the activity.
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 15, 2020, 11:32:06 PM
And the addicted gamblers are just cured when they are aware to quit from addiction.
But they still gamble right? but the way they gamble is not like when they were addicted.

I hope people who got addicted will not quit gambling and leave it for good because gambling is really entertaining, what they need to learn is just to be discipline and always consider the risk over the reward when they gamble so they'll be aware all the time.

The most possible way to deal with addiction is self control, and that very important as a gambler. Quitting is the last resort for everything, that's why we need to learn how the entertainment of gambling will benefit us emotionally and will not make us stressful in the end. Addiction from gambling is a worst case that needs serious attention, and way of preventing that is self rehabilitation and not by quitting.
