I use martiangle strategy for cryptocurrency but scalper strategy for currency strategy. Cryptocurrency more like an investment but currency is my job, like or not make me happy. But crypto sometimes makes me panic sell, because their price falling down, again and again, need extra patience to hold. I try to understand real market combined with my skill and deal with the risk. Choose the right strategy and fix it on the real market makes us a real trader. Good luck. |

To control emotion need hard work and patience, not easy to do that. Practice with little money on the real market is the best choice you have, repeatedly until you can control emotion. The second way to control emotion is disciplined with your strategy when buy, sell or hold never look back again and just do it. So today the price of Bitcoin was $2900 and it has rose to $3140 within 3 hours and on the other hand XRP was 0.000063 btc and had a huge dip to 0.00005500 btc. The price fluctuations were good and i hope traders made profit from it.
I am thinking to make a long term investment in Ripple. Can somebody suggest me is it a good investment and where to store the coins.
As long ripple has stable volume it's good to replace investment, the price doesn't count. Your decision with long term is the right step, but you must have stop loss and wise money management. Yesterday I just lost 1.8k USD, maybe in USA or in West Europe that's doesn't much, but here in my shitty country that's a f* big amount of money. Here the minimum wage is ~ 300 USD / month. So that's like 6 month of work if I cut my bread and water and live on air. Half of my saving were other investments, but anyways... I'm feeling shitty right now. Oh, and I break my laptop. So yeah, that's another - 500 usd.
I though I can trade. Buy low, sell high. Sounds good, doesn't work.
Looking at the charts and candle sticks and watching old bitcoin values, and huge spikes (pump, I saw here how people uses the pump word, daaaamn...) I was... yeah, I can totally do that. I'll just buy when it's low, and sell it when it reaches the top. Well, I was wrong. You can't see the future, otherwise everyone would be a millionaire. That would be true if you would have a delorean from '85 with Emmett Brown and Marty Mcfly and you could f* travel in future and see the PUMPS!!!1
So anyone who will read this message (noobs like me) if you don't have any trading experience, don't do it. There are expert traders who know how this market works, when to buy and when to sell. Don't assume your skills by watching youtube videos and reading "daily indexes and predictions" of how the price will rise or go down by shitty sites. That's just dumb. You don't know what's gonna happen. Maybe a little bit of luck, or I don't know.
So yeah, from now on, I'll just leave the trading area for experts and I will invest in bitcoin by buying every 2 week or monthly and saving into my wallet. And one day (I hope so) the price will rise and I will buy for my self a delorean.

Every trader or investor will hold but how they choose the right coin and when to sell is different story. One more thing, we all know about stop loss but only few trader use it. I really love and hate altcoins because I've been through so much after all the years now
I've made a lot of profit and lost a lot too
But I really like this

When we get profit sometimes we forget there's loss that might be happen next day. Love and learn what you do with your job, somehow there's something you'll get besides profit. I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

I choose to use martiangle strategy to make profit with eth, patience and disciplines is always included. Price action is reality, we can't control it just follow. As long you have stop loss that's fine but never forget patience, if doesn't you'll gone lose. So I have seen Coinbase is the main "source" for buying/selling BTC, but I was wondering if anyone has used the method of converting bitcoin to another currency when it reaches a high point, then converting it back to BTC when it is low enough.
If so, what wallet(s), exchanges, etc. are you using? And more specifically, what crypto do you recommend converting BTC to, in this situation?
Any help is appreciated!
You can choose wallet, exchanges or even strategy to make profit as your needed. Everything has their own system and you'll see if join with that platform and must deal with all risk. I only recommend as long the system can supported your needed it's fine and good to grow up your trading/ investment. All depend on your needed and will not the same with others people. I think btc will stable on this price until end of the month. After speculation ( 1 August ), bitcoin need time to fix the price and volume. But we can see many people never lost their trust with bitcoin and that's why the price will grow but after August. Better which one between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash (Futures)  Bitcoin always the best, no doubt about it. Bitcoin is mother coin and every price action moving always giving impact into altcoin. Besides that, bitcoin accepted as alternative payment after currency it self. Many coin only follow bitcoin and never take the first coin as bitcoin. Hi, new to bitcoin, I invested some money into bitcoin mid June after seeing all the hype online, since investing it's dropped like 20% really not sure what to do now if I should sell up now take a 20% loss or hang onto it and hopefully it will go up again? But after reading the news looks like it's not going to go back up?

No one know how the coin will becomes scam or success, only predict and learn from history price. If you're invest before ICO is just like gambling, but as long you can deal the risk that would be fine. When ICO starting, the price always lower than pre-ICO because maybe there's not have exchanger or investor. So i saw one at -97% over one week period and was wondering it would be a good idea to invest in it and similer ones cause they are at bottom and almost can't go any more down... Is this a good idea/strategy?? Btw i am not looking at this as long term investment, just some quick bucks by day trading kinda. Thankss Maybe yes maybe not, but it is depend how you explain crash?. Not every coin with low price is a good product to buy, we must see carefully. Some times that coin after crush become gone ( scam ), it's mean no more profit for us. There's profit we can get from altcoin world, why quit so fast?. For me your post is not quit but using long time period with martiangle strategy, that's a good choice. But I can say that's investment not trading, as long as still giving profit I'll take that change. Besides that, altcoin world giving us free course with real market about investment or trading. Really? I doubt that. Every coin has supply, demand, and speculation. After that, we can see the pattern and I think there's no pattern until now. Besides that, people still have faith with btc as alternative payment and making profit. See again your price action about BCH and use long time period to see their price action on real market. How old were you when you bought your first Bitcoin (or altcoins) and how long does it take you to find out a way to profit from crypto trading and raise your fund?
I believe earlier 2017 the first bitcoin I buy from my salary, only 0,05 just for alternative payment from on line store. Until now, I still try to make profit with bitcoin and unfortunately not going work. Patience is my problem but I'll face it because I believe there's profit from crypto trading. My target is only 10% from my bitcoin but hard work is needed and sometimes I lose. Time is also needed to develop my skill and that's the another risk. Keep patience with time and good luck. |

Bitcoin resistance around 1814-1840 reached = STRONG support  If segwit2x activated and fully operational this weekend = back to 3,000 $ +++++ If not = hard fork = bitcoin will be traded around 900 $ What do you think ? Maybe yes maybe no, everything could happen on real market. I hope hard fork will not have serious impact because depend on my strategy btc will raise more than $ 3.000, but if wrong I'll not cut loss just wait and see.
