I know this coin will be serious services on the future and that will give more value for micro.
Because of that, current value is irrelevant for me right now. (Low price will be even good for me, because I buy it).
But of course if Cryptsy deside to take it on the market, it's great.

Personally I don't like the way how Craptsy deside which coin they take.
Also, I quess, Craptsy will be dead town in few months, if they don't get usd market and start take care more customers.

Any way, I'm in with small amount to get micro to the craptsy, if this is something we want to pay for.
(I will pay only to dev address)
I will let micro community (us) to choice do we want to pay for that.

Now we have stable link where total coins minted can pick 24/7
http://pools.animusgs.co.in/BlockCrawler/microcoin_total.php

Coins number can pick also direct with json code:
Code:
<?php
function GetJsonFeed($json_url)
{

$feed file_get_contents($json_url);
    return
json_decode($feedtrue);
}
$ticker_alcurex GetJsonFeed("http://pools.animusgs.co.in/BlockCrawler/bc_api.php?request=getinfo");
$volume $ticker_alcurex["moneysupply"];
echo
$volume;
?>

More visual info can look here:
http://pools.animusgs.co.in/BlockCrawler/block_crawler.php

I will inform you when ABE is available, but those address are stable and can inform for coinmarketcap.

Here's a link to a simple countdown, but don't know how to add it to a forum post or the main page.

http://www.webcountdown.net/?a=AFcqeA2&k=kNUK

If anyone could donate some Mirco Coins for my trouble, that'd be great.  Grin
15qt3bHd4mCNne4CoApxa3bJG59HGqXXkM

Nice!
I am sure when the dev gets a moment they will be so kind as to add it.

Does anyone know how to setup an ABE explorer?
https://github.com/bitcoin-abe/bitcoin-abe

I am sure the community and devs would throw some coin your way for a nice hosted explorer
that shows total coins.

The current one is a little on and off... let's be honest.
This one -- http://84.251.34.142:8888/microcoin_blocks/index.php usually has some downtime.

I can send the new one to coinmarketcap.com to make sure we have a reliable hosted total coins page.

Any takers?

I am working with that. We will have hosted ABE or at least total minted coin info on 24/7 server in any minute...
Just wait an hour...

What motivated your decision to switch from Belize to Estonia?  What problems/opportunities arose?  Also, do you have any sort of projections for monthly profit in the near or short term?  If we were to follow in the footsteps of poloniex, with a daily trading volume of 193 btc, that comes out to a monthly revenue of 11.58 btc at a 0.2% trading fee.  Is this in the ballpark of what you expect?

Also, just my input:  I have a feeling users are willing to tolerate higher trading fees if they are given the opportunity to participate in the profit in some way, like mcxNow does with its fee shares and interests on deposits (which I think are a fantastic idea).  I think maybe something along these lines is in your guys' plan with the other 25% of public shares?

Sorry for the delay. We have been busy with microCoin and the new alcurEX leverage.
http://alcurex.info/alcurex-leverage/

Due to Finnish regulation we will need a real employee who handles the flow of money within the country the company is officially located.

With this in mind we would much prefer having employees located in Estonia as it is very close to Finland, is protected but EU legislation and is still relatively loose in regulation.

Company revenue would still be tax-free as long as the money stays within the company's accounts. Employee pays are of course taxed accordingly.

Poloniex is a good example for profit estimates, but with the addition of alcurEX leverage the revenue could increase by 5-10x.

This estimate comes from the assumption that people who use the leverage will most likely make more fast trades for small profit.

And because people can now trade with a higher capital than what they actually have the exchange and its shareholders will earn fee profits as if the volume was 5-10x larger.

We also expect this function to bring more investors to the site as many exchanges do not have such a function.
Sounds good, thanks for the reply.  I've done a little reading up on Estonia and it does seem like a nice place to do business.
Me too.
It is not 0 taxation country, but there is no taxes untill company money is withdrawed out of, example salaries.
It's great for company health because it's more profitable to reinvest free capital than take it out.

Where I live, company need to pay taxes no matter are you use profits of not.
Example in my country, if I buy products on the stock, I need to pay taxes because government looks like I still have this profit in those products.

In long run, Estonia may be better than tax haven countries, because company need to keep booking etc.
Nordic EU is also more safe for us, because there is no possible to make business like damm gox doing right now.

Do anyone know what Estonia government think about digital currencies?
I know Finland is like it's ok and Russian almost banned it, but Estonia, I dont know nothing.

If you want to, I can look your wallet but how about, have you any backups before first crash?
No matter what age it is. It will sync all coins anyway.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - Mandatory wallet update! on: February 27, 2014, 11:29:33 PM
There seem to be a lot of Micro Coin miners, but are any of you also buying shares into the Alcurex Exchange IPO? How do ya'll feel about it? Not much action going on on their page.

I'm tempted to invest but imo it's just too risky considering what has been happening with all these new exchanges lately.. hacks and bugs and problems everywhere. All it takes is one bug somewhere or security aspect overlooked and it could go under. But then again, if there's no risk there's no gain. Maybe I'll invest 0.05 BTC and consider it lost and if I actually get it back as profits it'll be a nice surprise and bonus. Cheesy

yeah agreed....  of course... i think that too.... i mean that its risky... one security fault could kill the project.... but investing around 0.05 BTC is worth a try Smiley
Yes, altcoin Exchange is not easy runnig. Even government can be your enemy. But without exchanges, there is no altcoins at all.
I will support it.

DAmn! I've resync evrything my balance ot confirmed during the blockchain download. Just after downloaded everything it crash with that damn runtime error!

Please somebody help me!
Sounds odd.
Is you computer clock correct?
Have you any other computer where you can run wallet and synch it. Then copy your wallet there?

I have a LAN with 3 computers and each one has a wallet installed! Is it possible to do so? i need to resync everything also in the other pc?
I try to explain better: i have a pc where my actual balance in the wallet is 0 so i can send there the full-balance wallet.dat and replace.
My question is: do i need to resync from zero the blockchain or can i just import the wallet.dat file in the already existing roaming folder?
You can just replace wallet.dat. No need sync.
I have did that many times with some other coins.

Ok, thanks for your time. Now the situation is like this: my old wallet was already updated when the problem happened. Now i've redownloaded again the microcoin-qt wallet.
I'm goona act like this: 1. Open the wallet so it creates the new folder in appdata\roaming 2. Close the wallet 3. Go in the appdata\roaming\microCoin folder and replace the existing new wallet.dat file with the older one where my coin are stored 4. Run again the Wallet and resync with the blockchain?
Please can you confirm that is the right way to follow?
Thanks.
Yes you do it right.

Please i need help!

IF i use the new wallet as it is (balance 0) everythings works fine. But if i put the wallet.dat in the new folder my wallet opens, sign that the balance is confirmed and recent transaction but crashes with that annoying error message "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.please contact the application's support team for more info"...
Please i don't want to loose my 2.5 milions! i'll give 500k if anybody can help me out!
Have you time to type repairwallet before it crash?

Without proof a lot oft people won't invest.
I am one oft them, 50% is looking like scam AS hell.
And the "everything is gonna happen after launch"
I understand.
But what kind of proof you mean?
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] alcurEX Cryptocurrency Exchange - 50% IPO - Selling shares now! on: February 26, 2014, 10:36:20 PM
Post a youtube video of the site/demo in action.

I thought cryptostocks is like an escrow that holds onto their bitcoins until the actual product or services is released.
But the minimum requirements for crypto-exchange is so low:

    Your project must have a website with an own domain
    The registration of a new project must be made with an email address from that domain.
    The listing on Cryptostocks must be mentioned on the Website.
    eMail us the contract text so that we can review it.

Reasons for delisting
The Exchange may choose to delist a project for reasons such as (but not limited to):

    violation of terms and conditions
    very low trading volume, with very low trading volume defined as less than an equivalent of 10 USD in a period of 100 days.
    fraud, scams, illegal activities
    discretion of the Exchange

This is not a scam proof exchange. Unlike real stocks, it has not been reviewed by the SEC. They could be mtgox at the launch and say the transaction malleability lost them 1000000000 coins after 1 day.
I think there is no any altcoin exchange selling shares on the "real stock".
The real stock is not more safe place, but it's long story.

We can't even talk about some Asian exchange like Gox.
Alcurex business will running on EU area.

If you mean SEC=US Securities and Exchange Comission, how they even can be reviewed by them,
But if they open usd market on Estonia, they will be monitored by Estonian FSA.

Every business can be a scam.
We will see what alcurex is.
Anyway. I have some shares of alcurex, and I'm happy if you dont buy it more Smiley
Also I'm in with they other project microCoin and I own around 3%.
It was good launch and they success well.

I feel pretty safe with this project.

Lag issues ^^^ 20-30 second load time occasionally.
I know that yesterday it did not load at one point.

Anyway to improve this? Just need a better host.
I have small hosted linux VPS server for ABE explorer.
But I don't know how to setup ABE for microcoin.
I will offer server free for our community.

So, if there is some one who want to make ABE working 24/7
PM me and I will give you access for this server.
