As a bettor.. you have to trust because even if the hashes work out of each single bet you cannot check the house edge. Is it only X%? Or is it much more? A casino can easily have a much bigger house edge and siphon out the gains through dummy players that take the earnings out into their own pocket.
No, as Andu tried to explain you are wrong here. As a bettor if you know the chance of winning and the payout multiplier you can easily determine the house edge: Multiply the percentage chance of winning by the payout multiplier and subtract the result from 100. So if the chance of winning is 49.5% and the payout multiplier is 2 you get a house edge of 100-(49.5*2) = 100-99 = 1%. If doesn't matter (to the bettor) whether the house has dummy players siphoning profits from the investors. That matters to the investors, but the players shouldn't care. Understand it now?

Hey dooglus:
Were you maintaining a 50 day list too, or not? Maybe too much work to maintain that many days, but this 20 day list is starting to seem a bit inadequate and also is starting to appear that little by little all of the top 20 days are being replaced by dates in 2017... maybe that is not a problem, but it would seem a bit more informative to have some older dates in the mix, as well, no?
I'm not actually 'maintaining' any lists. I'm recreating the list from scratch each day, relying on stats from bitcoincharts.com. I make the list long enough to include the last day's price. If the last day's price is in the top 20 then I only post the top 20. Otherwise I round up to a multiple of 5. Once yesterday's price isn't in the top 50 I go back into hibernation...

i sent from yobit to doogs site...i'm not a n00bie~ i'm telling you there was ZERO CONFIRMS!
Which transaction are you saying has zero confirmations? Can you show the transaction ID, or even better the raw transaction hex bytes? I can rebroadcast the raw hex bytes and it should confirm within a couple of minutes. I suspect that there never was any transaction made, so it wouldn't be accurate to say that it didn't confirm. Just that it didn't even exist. You need to talk to the exchange about this. They won't talk to third parties (like me) about dealings with their customers. It would be very unprofessional of them to do so. Edit: I made a support ticket at yobit pointing them at this thread. Maybe they'll post here to give their side of your conflict with them. And maybe not. I don't know what else I can do. ^thanks perhaps this will work! :\ appreciate it I heard nothing back from them. And you didn't answer my questions. When you said there were zero confirmations, what transaction were you referring to? If you can send me the transaction I can get it confirmed for you. dooglus, the ever-patient troll whisperer. Has a ring to it.
I like to give the benefit of the doubt. Until there isn't any doubt...

How confident are you in this prediction? But seriously, you might consider using a script to generate your reports. I posted mine in this thread not long ago, and here it is again: vwap() { days=1200 top=20 currency=USD rows=$(wget -o/dev/null -O- "http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/chart.json?m=bitstampUSD&r=$days&i=Daily" | sed 's/], \[/\n/g' | head -n $((days-1)) | tr -d '[],' | awk '{print $1, $8}' | sort -k2nr | head -$top ) newest=$(echo "$rows" | sort -n | tail -1 | awk '{print $1}') printf "Update:\n[pre]\n" n=1 month_ago=$(($(date +%s) - 60*60*24*32)) echo "$rows" | while read t p do if ((t > month_ago)); then b1="" ; b2="" ; else b1=""; b2=""; fi if ((t == newest)) ; then c1=""; c2=""; else c1=""; c2=""; fi printf "%s%s%2d %s %7.2f $currency%s%s\n" "$b1" "$c1" $n "$(TZ= date -d @$t +%Y-%m-%d)" $p "$c2" "$b2" ((n++)) done printf "[/pre]\n" }
You should be able to adapt that to work for Euros. Edit: note that bold font is used for prices less than a month old. Edit2: I second qwk's proposal to use ISO 8601 for date formats. It makes sense because writing the most significant information first (the year) and the least significant last (the day of the month) matches how we write numbers - (hundreds first, units last), so sorting alphabetically also sorts into date order.

^yeah since january and after multipule support tickets here we are ! :/ this is your coin i'd contact them because it reflects on you!!
Can you show the communication you've had with them? I don't see how your issues with a third party exchange reflect on me or the creators of CLAM in any way. ^they have ignored my support tickets! What should i repost them here? I didn't know they had ignored you. You didn't say anything about the tickets, other than that you were "after multipule support tickets". lol yobit has been holding my coins i sent to YOUR SITE ... im not too happy ~
You're not being very clear. How could yobit be holding coins that you sent to my site? Wouldn't I be holding them? It sounds to me like you trusted a third party with some coins, asked them to send your coins to my site, and they ignored you. That's not the same as you sending them. do i get a bug reporting fee after all this is fixed? wtf doog! :\
I think you're reporting this to the wrong person. I don't know what yobit is, but I'm guessing it is an exchange. Do they have a twitter presence? Or a BitcoinTalk thread? You could consider trying to get their attention by making a public fuss in those kinds of places if you're not getting satisfaction communicating directly. But complaining in the CLAM thread doesn't seem appropriate. It's nothing to do with anyone here.

I guess this thread will need daily updating, at least for the next 10-15 days.
I've been updating every day for the last month or so whenever the previous day's price was in the all-time top 50.

What happened specifically?
^bought clams on yobit and tried to send to your site and they never get confirmed! :\ thx for your help! ======================================================= Date Currency Amount Confirm Status 2017.01.30 06:14:27 CLAM 11.66795658 0 In process ====================================================== The "In process" label makes it look like yobit didn't send the coins yet. You should contact their support and ask for help there. It could be that their CLAM wallet has crashed and nobody noticed yet for instance. Or maybe they need to refill their hot wallet.

Bitcoin has been resting for the last three weeks, but the end of this upsurge will surely have a dump wave, but does this rise determine the new base?

200 btc waged and 50btc profits ? 25% ? Freaking insane. Nice site you got there. You habe seriously made 50tc ?? Wow !! When I habe some extra money I to invest with yolodice. Doesnt take much to realize its a good move.
The site has a 1% house edge. The fact that historically it has performed much better than expected should not affect your decision of whether to invest or not. Please note that I do not vouch for yolodice.
