1181  Economy / Economics / Re: 2023: What money lessons have you learned so far? on: May 03, 2023, 09:59:27 PM
Some of the crucial money lessons I learned in the past few months both from personal experience and from watching other people
1 Invest in the future of your kids so that they have something to fall back on:
There is a saying that even though I don't come from a wealthy home, a wealthy home will come out from me. The ease with which your kids will experience life when you consciously focus on investing in the future of your kids, cannot be overemphasize. You'll be less stressful, less anxious because you got it all covered. What are some investment you think are wise to be made for the future of your kids?

2 Do not go about with large wads of money in your wallet or with you
The first reason is for security purposes. The second reason is so that if you lose your personal items, it will not hurt so bad. Besides who still carries cash when you can make payments digitally. What do think?

3 You need a side hustle even if you have a main job
This cannot be over emphasized. There is no job security. Nothing is promised. Learn a skill or turn your interests or that thing you enjoy doing in your spare time to a side hustle. We all need the extra cash.

4. If you need a motivation for saving, attach a goal to it. This explains itself. Save with a goal or purpose in mind.

What money lessons have you learned so far?

These are all significant OP, but let me add on it. Don’t assume and own the money unless you see it in your own two eyes. Sometimes, we already try to pre-owned the money that is still coming without having an assurance if it will really happen or not. So we start to include it in our budget and assume that it will certainly add to our funds. Until someone broke its promise and fail to secure the funds, leaving us ruining our budget and even put us into financial pressures especially if we already have spend that assumed amount even if it has not reached into our hands.
1182  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: May 03, 2023, 09:35:42 PM
I'd say that this still qualifies as gambling. You may not be staking money in the process but you're still playing with your chances anyway. That is considered gambling even if nothing is at stake. You still poured your time and effort researching who's going to be the top scorers and all those stats. There is also the possibility of a win, so if that's not gambling to you then I don't know what it.

Free bets are also considered gambling. You didn't stake anything in this instance, so what differentiates it from free bets?
As long as you take some chances or risk, even if there’s no real money involved, I think that still falls for gambling. Gambling anyway is dealing on what is uncertain having yourself tied on it without gaining an assurance if you will succeed or not. Just like free bets from gambling casinos, there is no stake involved, but it’s a matter of marketing strategy so that once you win, you will be attached to it and you start betting with real money involved.
1183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of crypto influencers. on: May 03, 2023, 09:16:22 PM
There are many online course and learning about Bitcoin can be accessed without need to pay anything because it's free. But most people don't want to learn because they only want to focus to make money and following the upcoming hype to buy a potential shitcoin. If people have spent their times to learn about Bitcoin, crypto influencers will fall day by day.

I think crypto influencers will not fall because there are a lot stupid people out there.
True. There are a lot of avenues now to learn in bitcoin, it’s just that people are lazy to make their efforts to learn. Instead, they chose to trust crypto influencers and expect quick profits like what these influencers have promised to them. They lose their capital in the end. If newbies will always have stupid mindset like this, and will always be motivated by greed, then it will only increase the number of crypto influencers around. That’s the reason why new investors should never be encourage to come in the market without having good education on what investment they plan to enter. Otherwise, crypto influencers will keep on benefiting from them.
1184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: IS IT SAFE TO INVEST PENSION FUNDS IN BITCOIN? on: May 03, 2023, 08:52:18 PM

I spoke to a friend about Bitcoin and he asked if it is safe to invest Pension funds in Bitcoin considering the fact that this is a retirement saving. I am skeptical of investing people's funds in this coin because it can't be predicted also we cannot overlook the fact that Bitcoin may enhance investment returns at retirement.
However, my findings from people that work in these organizations say contributor's funds in some categories can be invested in risky investments because of the high return on investment and contributors have the option to opt for this option but with the exception of the soon-to-retiree.
It’s actually an individual’s choice. You can always invest an amount that you can afford to lose, but I don’t think this is the case here. Retirees are more emotional and could easily burst out once they don’t like what they are seeing and feeling, so as much as possible they should not be exposed in high risk investments as it would trigger their emotional and mental health. I would suggest to never use pension funds in any investment, there’s no guarantee if the money will certainly grow or will eventually lose all the amount.
1185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: knowing the basic concept is enough for a beginner on: May 03, 2023, 08:33:35 PM
I always feel discouraged and afraid because I don't know what to say that will be interesting to my readers or having the needed technicality knowledge to make me stand out this feeling have affected my activeness in the past.
You need to remind yourself that you can do quality posting too. Having some technical knowledge, is a must but of course there will always be someone to correct or rectify the idea buy thats pretty normal. Apparently, discussion on bitcoin forum is not strict but be someone responsible when doing one. Having to stanf out is based on your wits and logic to have a good content. Eventually merits can come as long as youre good contributors.
If others have done it and have succeeded in making quality posts in the forum, then why can’t you? I believe it’s a matter of self-encouragement and self-confidence too so you should not feel that way. Keep learning from the forum, just take it slow until you absorb everything that you need to learn. Don’t think to stand out in the forum as it will only pressure yourself, but rather think on how you will learn and share it to others so that you can be useful in the forum like other members too. After all, we are given equal opportunities here, just do your own diligence.
1186  Economy / Economics / Re: Food Crisis - Improved, Worsen or still the same in your country (No Change)? on: May 02, 2023, 09:13:09 PM
I don't think there is a national food crisis in my country right now. Although there are families that can't afford to buy enough nutritious food, it isn't because there is nothing to buy. It's more of the fact that they are poor, so it's about their low income. Poverty is prevalent in my country, in certain provinces and regions more than in any other. There is food insecurity and these poor families and areas are the ones who are the most deprived of access. There is also a shortage of certain food, but it's not on the level of crisis.
Probably not a food crisis, but more on food shortages especially for low income people due to unable to buy what they really need to eat. If only the government has also taken an action over this high price issues, by increasing too the minimum wages of poor workers, then there will never be food deprivation since everyone can still afford to buy it and consume it at home. Sadly, it’s not happening at the moment. While prices continue to surge, poor people continue to suffer too and just adjust their meal schedule like they have to wake up late so that breakfast and lunch will become just a one meal.
1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise to a friend on: May 02, 2023, 08:32:52 PM
You’re intention is really good but always remember that bitcoin is still not 100% safe and secured investment as it could end up zero value when we least expect it. So always play it safe, and never decide on someone’s money no matter how good or sure you are with bitcoin. Let him learn and decide on his own. If he lose, that’s part of investing, but if he decides to buy your idea and invest on bitcoin, then good for him but always remind him that he should always be responsible of his own actions, and not that you will take the blame in the end if his investment did not work.
1188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner mistakes and how to avoid them on: May 01, 2023, 07:33:29 PM
A beginner is a rather difficult period for every trader. At least when I started working - I also learned enough about it. For work, I chose a broker from the Amarkets company, and studied on a demo account. Was pleased with the results.

Being a beginner in trading requires alot to put in place before you can be able to stand strong with the trading techniques and other required process that goes in line with experience, not everyone like taking a broker for an option being a beginner, they had better give it all it takes to quickly assimilate their learning procedures more faster trying it out by themselves together with obtaining learning materials from different sources.

Everything goes with it, your time, money, focus, energy. Everything needs to be done and well calculated because we aren't just talking and trading with cents, yes there may be some mistakes along the road but that's somehow normal and manageable especially if you're just a novice in this field. Just focus until you understand the fundamentals until you know what you need to do next and have a better understanding with it because you already acquired some lessons on the past mistakes.
1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 01, 2023, 04:52:01 PM

Yes, Ryan Garcia is still relatively young and is at the peak of his career because he has a pretty good winning record, but in the fight a few days ago, Ryan Garcia lost by knockout to Gervonta Davis with a body shot that hit the upper heart and made him really fell down until declared unable to continue the fight.
Both boxers are of the same young age, it's just that Gervonta Davis is much older by a difference of 4 years and has a record of winning more than Ryan Garcia.
This defeat should not be regretted by Ryan Garcia because he still has a long time to become a great fighter and succeed in getting the title he wants.

I'm not sure Ryan Garcia will move up to the top division because it will only make it more difficult for him to win the championship belt.

Yup! Both are the same age but sure enough, it is shown on the fight who has the higher fight IQ and that is Gervonta Davis, but Ryan Garcia is still making his road to Success and upon going that path he will surely fill that cup with techniques and new skills this fight is just a lesson to teach himself well moving forward I really want to see the Devin Haney VS Vasiliy Lomachenko fight that will be a great fight to watch aswell and we may never know what may happen but many are surely expecting Haney winning over Lomachenko,

That fight was really a disappointment, or at least that's what I felt because I did expected a better performance by Ryan Garcia and that he will be wiser on that fight because he already knew how wise Davis is inside the ring and how vast his IQ when it comes to what's needed to be done. But that specific bar that I set for Ryan may have been too high for him even if that is somehow achievable for a fight like that.

Well, hopefully he will indeed learn from his mistakes and enough about that because I'm already thrilled to see Loma fighting for the Devin Haney's throne. Just a few more days folks.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 01, 2023, 04:02:26 PM
A real bummer that the Kings weren’t able to win game 7 against the Warriors. I thought they were going to light the beam and end the Warriors legacy but it just wasn’t in the cards. Steph Curry showed why he’s one of the best of all time and they live to face the Lakers. That should be a great series to watch!

That goes to say that even if the Sacramento Kings are playing like elites, they are still an unexperienced team compared to what the Golden State Warriors have endured throughout the years to be like what they are now. It was not an overnight success for the team, they also had some moments being at the bottom and under the radar. I believe soon enough, the Kings will be as strong as the Warriors if they will retain their cores but I think these days, that will be too much too ask as there many factors that needed to be consider first.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: April 29, 2023, 08:30:53 PM
This is going to be an interesting fight, Devin Haney for me is a master class in reading the rhythm of his opponent and sometimes he will study the habits of his opponent and use that to his advantage and make his jabs effective because of it, Devin Haney will surely study his opponent for sure, and he could also do this to Vasiliy Lomachenco and their upcoming fight, but for sure Vasiliy Lomachenco will expect this and for me Devin Haney is getting ready and anticipating all of the possible moves that Vasiliy Lomachenco will do,

It will still be the skills and the style of this two. He can watch all the tapes of Loma in the past and maybe find some weakness. But we all know how technical Loma is in every fight so it might be a different version of him that is going to appear in this fight. Nevertheless, as you have said, Haney has a good boxing IQ as well so he can adjust in the middle of the fight.

Both boxers are already expecting that they have been studied well by watching each other's recent bouts, but definitely nobody is underestimating somebody here because if one of them does that, that will be an expensive mistake that they might regret soon as both boxers probably knew how talented they are. Let's expect that they will have a slow start and will take their time reading and observing each other's movement first before they commence on their respective plans.
1192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should wait before owning my bitcoin on: April 29, 2023, 08:04:13 PM
I will let this be my guide, will wait till the Buy has the highest vote. Money investment need to be carefully planned. This is just my plan, you can advice or give it kudos.
I don't think relying to this guide is a good idea at all. You won't learn anything from there and you'll always rely with this guide forever because you don't know how to do it by yourself. It's true that if you can follow other people advice for your own research so you can be more careful to invest next time, but I'd assume this one is just blindly follow the guide and call it a day. Might as well do DCA and learn to trade by the meantime, it's much better if you have little to no knowledge in investing Bitcoin.
Yes, it's not really healthy to rely on someone else's advice because in that way, you are not learning anything and there won't be any time for learning because in every step you made, you are looking for an advice. Don't get me wrong, advice is a good thing but that doesn't actually mean that you have to believe them and do whatever they are saying because in the first place, it's your money and not theirs. Surely you don't want to put your fate in someone else's hands, don't be scared to make some mistakes because that's how we mostly learn.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 29, 2023, 07:34:03 PM
All of you need to remember one thing. World Cup matches are never played in empty stadiums. The demand for tickets are 10 times or 20 times the actual supply. During the 2022 World Cup, Qataris reserved a large fraction of tickets to themselves and made massive profits by selling these tickets to fans at exorbitant prices. So the argument that fans from the host nation may not watch the tournament in case their team is not there doesn't stand. If they don't watch, then fans from other countries will be ready to purchase the tickets. IMO, host nations should not be provided with automatic qualification. They need to qualify through the qualifier tournaments, just like the other teams.
Because this is a big tournament, there is never a doubt that there will be not fewer fans and that is also one of the reasons for FIFA to increase the number of participants because it means more money will be circulating throughout the World Cup. Conditions like any of the hosts will not reduce the interest of spectators to come directly to the stadium and watch the match even though there is a possibility that the match will be boring.
If regulations appear, the host country will not automatically become a participant because they still pass the qualifications. There may be less interest from the country that organizes it, because apart from economic reasons, one of the reasons why countries are interested in becoming an organizer is because they get the privilege of their national team automatically playing, and the rules of the organizing country automatically playing out like a lucrative deal for FIFA and that country.
The amount of money that is earned by everyone via World Cup is crazy. The hosts make money, Fifa makes a lot of money, the hotels around it makes money, the events around it make money, the shops around it makes money, players make more money due to endorsements as well, hell even clubs make more money because their players worth more if they play well, and even go as far as say that national teams that are not the host make money by selling their jersey as well, that merch income is not something small.

So, overall if we look at every single cent earned thanks to world cup, it is a 11 maybe 12 digit amount, I bet 30-40 billion at least when you calculate it all, and that's not easy to do that is a huge amount of money we are talking about, unheard of in anything else in the world.

In fact, the country hosting the world cup will earn more money than others because the hotels and markets in that country will get more demand they can get more tax during this time also regardless of the money they can earn during this time they can have the chance to introduce their country to the world which can have more benefits for them.

And in that particular time, it's already expected that the nearby hotels, Apartelles, or even condominiums will ask more than their regular price on their regular dates because in this kind of event, people are ready to spend twice as much as long as they can have a cozy and warm place to stay before and after every games, so it won't be a surprise anymore if these businesses/establishments will take advantage of the event because it's not every year where their country will host the FIFA World Cup.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 29, 2023, 05:35:47 PM
But what happened happens.  It shows the immaturity of Ryan Garcia and the incapability of his training camp of setting a good strategy against a skilled and High IQ boxer.

Overall, they literally failed on every aspect of their run to defeat Tank Davis.

I even honestly thought that the fight would be interesting enough to see where we can see both boxers struggling while finding the right rhythm to give a good punch, but was we saw was just a one-sided fight, not because Tank was wiser but because Ryan Garcia didn't approached Tank with a caution and most certainly, he didn't adjust on what's need for him to take control of the fight.

Immature is indeed the right word for that, Ryan Garcia has become an amateur boxer in-front of Tank Davis.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 29, 2023, 04:51:54 PM
Looking like the Kings are going to take the win against Golden State tonight. They’ve got their biggest lead of the series with just over 4 minutes left. That means the Kings have recaptured home court advantage for game 7. The Kings seemed to overcome bad officiating all night long which makes the win that much more impressive.

LeBron is up next tonight…

Kings beat GSW. This is an exciting series. GSW seems like already loss their composure in the since they are already missing easy shots and not eager to get the ball. Kings keeps getting an offensive rebound even Sabonis is already out. Wiggins free throw is terrible on crucial times. I think their mind is already on Game 7 when the lead is already above 10.

This loss is painful to me because I bet on GSW ML which bothering me since yesterday because I knew that Kings can do the same by beating GSW in the home court.

I skip betting on the next match. I really feel that I have the jinx. Let's go LAL!  Cheesy

Even if the Game 6 was played inside Chase Center, we cannot really say that the Warriors got the full advantage and got more chance to dominate the game instead of having the opposite outcome because the Kings got a pretty record on the road.

But even after I know that fact, I still bet on the Warriors in that game because it's just hard to rule out that they are more experienced compared to the Kings but what happened wasn't exactly the same as I imagined it because the Kings really bounced back after having two consecutive loss. Game 7 will be much more interesting and this time, the Warriors will be on the road, again.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 28, 2023, 09:02:25 PM

I very much agree on your statement mate, perhaps Ryan Garcia could be more lethal and dangerous in the upper division rather than forcing his own weight to fit in 135. But before all of that, he should try and improve his fighting style first because even if he can survive a few fights against the lower ranks, he will still find himself in the very same position where he can't really touch the champions because he lacks something. It's time for him to move-on and learn the lesson that was taught to him, and equip it to be a better boxer in his new journey.

If he didn't lose that last fight he wouldn't think to get to the upper weight class because he was feeling comfortable there with his speed but when he fought Davis, he realized that his past opponents were just a joke. now that he realized he needed to get up there, he should also train as much as he can to get back his honor and gain some momentum to bounce back again. He is such a charismatic boxer unlike anybody else and he can sell his fights easily, he just needs to give some more, especially in his defensive strategies.

I'd say even if he win that one, that will be his last fight at 135 because his weight was already a problem to him in that division. In-fact, he already had two fights prior his fight versus Gervonta Davis and I believe that the sole reason why Ryan Garcia came back in lightweight was to settle their rivalry with each other that has been going on for years now.

But again, if not because of his defeat versus Tank, he will not be learning his lesson that his movement and defense is not that good enough in-front of the experts in the division. Actually, he already had the same scenario where Luke Campbell exposed him but he let his head to grow bigger because despite that fact, he won the fight.

I agree with that point he thinks that he can easily take what Davis will throw him, he try to fight that solid hit in his ribs but Tanks solid punch is far different from those fighters that Garcia's face before, he didn't manage to absorb and survive and we see the outcome of the fight a big lesson to learn as he needed to grow and adjust to improve his fighting skills.

That just shows that Tank Davis is on a different league compared to Ryan Garcia because Tank as a champion doesn't lose his discipline and he even keeps on reaching milestones to improve his performance inside the ring while Ryan here is not making any improvement because he's just too reliant on the power that his left hand contains. And look what happened to him, even Tank Davis's body punch is powerful enough to make Ryan Garcia kneel and prevented him to recover again. How much more if he had received another clean punch in the temple more than what he received in the 2nd round, he might be sleeping on the canvass if that happened.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: April 28, 2023, 08:27:55 PM
Haney is probably bigger, but they'll be on the same weight on the day of the fight. So just like the Tank vs. Garcia fight where Garcia was the taller fighter and probably bigger, Tank Davis was still able to find a way to hurt Garcia and knock him out.

That was a different match. It was just a matter of time before Davis would land that perfect punch to bring Garcia down, regardless of how tall or big Garcia is. As to Haney and Loma, they both don't have that super powerful punch like Tank's. So this is most probably a fight that ends in a decision. So with a bigger Haney that also has a longer reach, Loma will really have to be quick and make use of his unbelievable footwork to close the distance and score.

You bring a good point, in this case Loma is known to have a very good and quick foot work. And that's how we see Loma during the start of his career, unbelievable footwork that no one can match, not even quality Olympians like him in Rigo, who just quit in his stool because he can't cope with Loma's technique.

So their style could really be a match made him heaven here. And what we have said, this could be a tactical and a chess match. Unlike to Garcia and Davis fight wherein they rely on their power to win via knockout. This one, the boxing IQ of this boxers will be in display. There could be rounds that Haney is dominating because of his long reach and taking advantage of his height. And then the next round, Loma coming back with his superior movement and hand speeds and then touching Haney at will. So it could go into the distance and gonna be hard to score for sure.

Yes, the word here is technical. Both Haney and Loma are technical fighters. So this is a completely different match from Davis vs. Garcia in which a knockout is expected to happen. Both Tank and Garcia are just looking for the perfect timing to knock the opponent down or out. In Loma vs. Haney, the battle is about points. The goal is simply to outsmart, outmaneuver, and outpoint the other. Any knockdown or knockout is just a bonus and is unexpected.

Yep, that will be the proper term here, going to be very 'technical' match as both their skills because they don't have the power, it's not that they can't produce a knockout, it the right situation presents itself, then maybe they can win via knockout. But most likely, this two loves to pit their style against each other. So it's going to be a back and forth battle in the ring and as you have said, if we see a knockout or knockdown, it's going to be a big bonus for us. And base on the odds, the over and under rounds is 10.5. And the odds for the over round 10.5 is very low at 1.17. So even bookies predicts that this fight might go down the full distance. And the winner will have to go to the judges scorecard.

Bookies know it for sure because as you guys have mentioned, both Haney and Loma are not known to be a knockout boxer because they are more known for their technicalities. So, the odds released by the bookies did really make some sense that this fight would likely end in the judge's hand and not by a way of some TKO or KO but who knows, one of them might commit a mistake that will be a reason that the fight will end much earlier than expected. But I'm expecting a tight fight with full of defense and counter attacks.
1198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in bitcoin on: April 28, 2023, 08:00:46 PM
Doesn't matter what you think. If you invest all your money into something, that's the trait of a gambler straightaway. No questions asked.
Let's not even talk about Bitcoin.. simply think what happens if you go all-in in anything in your life. Like spending all your money on an investment which has been providing good ROI in the past, does it guarantee you any future? No. That's my point.
I think you should get me right first, am not asking anyone to invest all their money, why will you invest all your money in bitcoin or other investments its really wrong, but if you are planning to make bitcoin investment, and you are having money which you can afford to lose, or any amount that if you invest it won't really affect you, then you can make investments all at once, I just hope you will understand me well, am not encouraging or advising anyone to invest everything they are having, it's really a bad idea.

Well, yes, that's why it's common to hear the phrase "only invest some funds that you can afford to lose" or any phrase which contains the same meaning because there are exactly no investments in this world that guarantees its positive outcome. Because if they were, it wouldn't be called as an investment after all, and we won't be hearing some terrible news about the people who lost a lot and was buried in debt after they poured all their resources on a single investment.
1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoiner still support the use of centralized exchanges? on: April 28, 2023, 07:10:13 PM
with DEX you know exactly what do you risk with
Then why so many people lose everything? Probably YOU know exactly the risks but many others don't. It's like people who wire money to perfect strangers: would you ever do it? I guess not. Everyone should know that, right? And yet, it keeps happening. Never take for granted that people always know what they're doing, you just need a second of distraction and even an expert can make a mistake, shit just happens.

Well, that's one of the downsides of using DEX. Anything can happen especially mistakes because we are only human beings bound to make some mistakes, but what if that certain mistake is just too much to carry with like sending some huge funds but to a wrong address? What I'm trying to say is that DEX is indeed a good exchange to use especially if we wanted anonymity but regarding about making some mistakes, I think it's still good to use CEX just in-case.
1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 27, 2023, 07:39:37 PM
I believe it has been a tradition since the initial world cup to have the host qualify automatically.

I mean, can you imagine hosting an event in which you're not even participating?, doesn't seem too fair to be honest. The hosts need to put a lot of money and effort to make it happen, at a minimum they should qualify.

Your logic works when one or two countries are hosting the world cup. But it doesn't work when a large group of countries are co-hosting this tournament. And in 2030 it is going to be even worse. There is a combined bid from Uruguay–Argentina–Chile–Paraguay. If they succeed, then there will be 4 co-hosts and each one will qualify for the tournament automatically. And for all the other teams from CONMEBOL (including Brazil), only 2 spots will be made available for the 2030 World Cup. Do you really believe that this is fair?

I think there are a lot of considerations that had to be made that are not that obvious for us as outsiders to the topics of security, infrastructure, financial abilities and so on and so forth. I don't think that there hasn't been put a lot of thought into this decision. But I do get your point that this auto-qualification is a problem for some people, not for me though.

See, do you think that the host always has an advantage over all other participants? The biggest disadvantage is that the hosts don't have a lot of serious games with their national teams before the tournament actually starts. The qualification is still a good opportunity to find the right team for the right time. I am ok with the three nations already being qualified.

The bad thing about the 2026 world cup and even previous world cups is getting auto qualification when they host the world cup. I mean when they host the world cup they get some advantages, for example, they will have more visitors for their country and it helps the country financially while getting an auto qualification is not necessary and they should get qualified like other teams.

Actually, I looked it up to know what is the reason behind why does FIFA is giving the host(s) an advantage of having their team to be automatically qualify and honestly, I'm quite surprised to know the reason because FIFA said that it's just a courtesy, simple as that. Cheesy

Quite unfair, isn't it? But we can't do nothing about it as it turns out that it is already a tradition where the hosts will have that specific advantage apart from having a financial boost to their economy due to the people that will be flocking towards the host's country.
