Where is this thread you talk about?

If you check a couple of pages on this thread you would have got that thread.

Anyway, I'm posting again here for your reference - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.0

Remember one thing that all those past performances only for your reference because there is no gaurenty that in future also you will get same profits. Because in gambling any casino investments anything can happen so you get even better profits or some losses also.

Thanks for giving the reference.

And yes, there really is no guarantee that you'll get same results as it all depends on your luck as an investor. If you have high risk to investment, and a highroller losses big, you profit big. If he wins, then you would loss big as well.
1182  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | Most Popular & Trusted | 109 BTC Jackpot! on: September 30, 2017, 11:03:26 PM
Why it is so hard to hit the jackpot? Simply because it's all worth it. C'mon it's over a hundred BTC so expect that the chance is so small to hit it. Let's say you're the owner, wouldn't you do the same condition as what pd does with their jackpot. Who's owner will offer a jackpot with such amount without a very small chance? I bet no one. It's like the main event in sports, the main attraction. So it's way harder to hit than hitting 9900x.

I dont mind about the so small chance to hit the jackpot, but it is more about the jackpot system which is manual. I think many people will try to hit it with the lowest eligible bet amount (0.0001 for 1%) if the system is automatic. It is not fun to watch all the bets we made if we are only hunt for the jackpot. I hope they can make it into automatic system soon.
There's really no excuse for having the jackpot be manual, the only reason it's like that is so that players don't notice if they hit it.

Players who auto-roll mostly do not watch each and every bet. It's just too much to manually inform them about you hitting 77.77 twice in a row.

I had an amazing day with the FJ midweek dice madness  Cheesy
Gathered a couple of friends and we got together in a pursuit of the FJ Jackpot
I believe I've placed around 200 000 bets so far today just by myself

It's pretty fun
Together we placed around half a million bets, only 5% chance of winning the jackpot though  Sad
Still a couple of hours to go and hit it  Cheesy
If we hit a million, there's a 10% chance some of us will win Cheesy

EDIT: Didn't win, had fun though xD

I usually play this and I am hoping to win jackpot(or at least 5 lions).
So far i won 3 times 10$ and today 100$.
Someone was very lucky this week and won mega moolah's $7.7M  Smiley

Sweet win marlboroza but that lucky person who won $7.7m, I bet he wasn't able to sleep for a week. Lol

1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 30, 2017, 10:26:25 PM
Because our brains are already overshadowed by big dreams that gambling present us so we go back to gamble. Lose or win just the same, we will keep coming back and back, until finally we realize that much has been lost yawning because of gambling.

We are brainwashed, is this what are you trying to say? Probably yes, because we keep on thinking that the big wins from other gamblers can possible happen to us. And that's why everyone of us are keep on gambling and it is making us an addicted gambler. This is not new, gambling is very addicting just like the usual type of addiction from other things and I don't want to mention any of them, you all know it.

It is the temptation of the money gambling offers. A study about addiction have concluded that gambling addiction is far worse than being a druggy

1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: September 30, 2017, 10:04:12 PM
I've had good moments and bad moments in my life, but the worst moments is when I spent the entire day gambling and focusing only to winning money for this or that.
I'm tired, seriously, to win big and then fall in more deep "debt" because of greediness. I can't afford to have such experiences anymore, it makes me sad the fact that instead of saving those money I preferred to spend them on a gambling site, I was like oh ok it's just x, so If i can lose it it's ok, oh it's just a faucet, it's ok if I lose it. But when If even with the faucet I reach like 0.06 or more, and then I lose them it's still a touch to the heart, that makes you say if I start back with this amount I can magically make it 0.6, yes probably, cause I did that in the past, as my far record is been from 0.001 to 1.6 btc in 3 hours with roulette, but let's not dig that.

I prefer spending the money on what are my necessities now, than see my wallet drop in amount. Every single f*** time, every time I had the chance to buy btc, or doge whatever, I ended up expecting to win big.
EVEN if I win big, I repeat that, I waste the money afterward, because I think it's a good idea to bet bigger now if my budget supports it, and there it goes down the hole.

Why I decided to leave gambling anyway? I saw how rapidly I was going down in the past few days, and like an hot potato to keep sinking my butt on the wallet. I'm tired of that. I better move my butt and find something that used to keep me busy, like programming, I love programming. But then I got stressed and I started to gamble.

I hope you all understand. All my friends I made in these years on the gambling sites, thank you everyone for your support of my strong decision.
Thanks everyone.

It's good to lay it off for a while. Especially if you find that you can't control yourself when gambling.

And you can opt to be banned from wherever gambling site/house you play. This way you can be sure that you can't play whatever happens

Given that the tokens don't look good to receive a proper dividend: how to sell them? Any exchange on the horizon?

Thanks

Giulio

You can currently only sell them to other Betking users.

The transfer is possible by using the "tip" feature of
the Betking Chat. Make sure to use an escrow in order
to prevent getting scammed.

And make sure you choose a trusted escrow with enough experience.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=520313

This person has escrowed our campaign funds for over a year with no problem.

I was pmed by somebody on betking site, with an external link. I did not click on it as it may contain something or so. My point is to have it by default that regular users like me can have it by default not to be able to receive messages, unless activated.

Check this roll by one of the luckiest roller I've seen on bitsler.

bet:12725978417

9900X with a little less than 6k sats bet. result : a little less than 0.6btc profit.

i think we need some sort of "Hall of Fame" of these types of "luckiest" or "most impossible" rolls. so that we can have then in history as in a list of all the players that could set a record on bitsler so far.
it would be interesting to see such a list though.

Having a thread on bitsler forum would be a good idea. I'm not very active on it though. You may start a thread and I will likely visit it occasionally.

Hello folks.

Suggestion :

Have a notification when somebody mentioned you in chat, there are times that chatters miss a response to them on someone called them. However, to avoid others using this option to annoy others, an option to enable or disable this function.

That can be gained by changing the font color of the users that being stated on the chat box. Red will be good color to be used since it will stand out. Btw, nice suggestion!

Thanks.

So I resorted to having to create a new account as I can't recover my old account.

Suggestions:

1. Have an option to not let others PM you by default. Soon once the site is crowded, many will come just to annoy others with pm's etc.

2. The number of online players should be by chatroom so one can be able to know if a room is empty or not.

P.S.

I still want to be able to recover my account. username : jamyr

Just a little change this time: one player can't win more than one prize during the promo

GOOD LUCK ALL !!

Sounds fair to me. More chance to win. Sometimes same users keep winning.

Here we go again. Just a few weeks ago it was the 15th billion roll promotion. NOw bitsler is on the 16th. It is really growing and growing. Good Job Baryom!!!

this becomes one of the best promotions around
if not the best Smiley and the time between 1 billion rolls keeps shrinking, proving that Bitsler is getting more and more popular
good change to the promotion rules, gives more chances to different players
think I'm going to make sure I participate this time, good luck to all  and join Bitsler if you haven't already

This would be an overstatement if I have not played with bitsler for a long time. But I totally agree with you as they are consistently growing and rewarding their players. Soon it'll just be a week to have a billionth roll promotion. Well done again, Bitsler.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: September 25, 2017, 05:57:03 PM
I don't play with my profits, I usually take it away as soon as possible even it is only small and leave immediately. I don't want to be greedy because I know what will happen when I continue playing with my profits which may easily gone. But I usually play I got from the website faucets and bonuses/promotions.

Same here, gambling the profits away together with your bankroll is an irresponsible attitude and so it's best to either withdraw them and keep somewhere while you keep gambling with only your specific bankroll. That's how I gamble on sports bet and it's been working for me.

I think people should keep the profit and must avoid to play with it as there are chances of loosing it. People should have total control on their self and must follow some guidelines in order to be a successful in the gambling.

I dont think you would have the chance to do that yourself. If you are not courageous enough to bet your profit. Then, you may not have the courage to place your first bet as well.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: September 25, 2017, 05:49:53 PM
But occasional trading also annoying, because if has floating minus long enough. So must be patient waiting to make profit even for only 5%. While in gambling, it looks so easy to reach 5%. but just sometimes.

That just sometimes is the key factor in gambling. It looks easy but you're not sure whether you can reach that 5% target or not in gambling. But in trading, if you do some research before investing than you will get a chance to reach that 5% profit range but it may take some time to reach your target profit. Money making always takes time and there are not instant options to earn profits without risking your money.

Correct. But again investing on trades can be a lot painful if shit happens. Well shit happens most of the time, just like what happened to doge. It went from 25-100+ sats back to 25sats a coin. What a bummer

Indeed mate.. that happened to me once and it really hurts for losing a big amount of money in trading. So now I'm always careful when putting money in trading and same goes with gambling I always make sure that I'm always in control.

Being in control in everything you do makes it easier to be profitable although, having randomness in some of what we do make it exciting and thrilling. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I am not the only one who seeks excitement in life.
You are not the only one who do seek excitement on life but most people for sure. Everything should be in control so that we wont able to make excess engagement with it which would really result into negative.Regarding on the topic i would say that trading is less riskier compared on gambling since we can able to learn the proper ways on how to trade to increase our chances on having a profitable trades unlike on gambling which is solely dependent on luck alone.

there are gambling that are not based on pure luck like poker and sports betting. yes, I agree that it is really less riskier to trade than to gamble but there is a caveat there: you need to do your homework and learn the skill of trading especially the cryptocurrency trading..

Sports betting is really one I must try in the future. Poker I have, but sports-betting I haven't really with bitcoin. But I have followed a thread created by messi(and some numbers) about a constant bet he was making. I'll definitely try it for dota 2 games.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: September 25, 2017, 05:07:09 PM
Investing much suggested for me. I'm a person with no luck in gambling even in real life. I much more suggested buying altcoins or bitcoin itself and hold it for long time.

THat is a good choice. ALthough as most have mentioned in early pages of this thread, investing is also a sort or way of gambling. But if you do good on it, I would say good luck to you and may you find that greener pasture in the future.
yes i agree because if i will be going to choose on  investing and gambling.i will choose investing because it has an asurance of getting more profit than gambling because in investing you can use your skill ang experience.in gambling you can only lean on to your luck.

Lean on your luck? Have you read what I answered the post I quoted? I said investing is also a sort or a way of gambling. I just bade him good luck if he is good in that game of trading/investing.

1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: September 25, 2017, 02:22:11 PM

Of course, I, like other normal people who are able to control their spending, have a certain limit in gambling. More than 100 dollars a month I do not spend on gambling.

That is a good limit, especially if you are not rich.

For me, I just limit my self to less than 100 dollars too every month to gamble with. For the last 2 weeks I haven't played but I may try again next time.
