If I go wrong because it is still new in trading, when I was wrong to see and read the MACD chart should I sell instead of buying, I was buying high prices within 5 minutes direct price dropped dramatically.
How did your trading experience make the worst decisions?
My worst decision only buy too high and sell too low, just like you did. From this mistake, I learn to use stop loss to minimalize loss. But my first mistake with trading is trying with real money without knowledge. Lost almost 40% from my money in just 15 minutes. I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.
Keep holding until the price comes up again, that's best choice you have. We all know patience is the key to win, keep calm and don't panic sell. If your choose for cut loss that's fine but can you deal with the loss you have?. See again your graphic market price chart and use long time period to predict where the price going. Read some books about trading, join some trade group and find a mentor. Do it step by step, keep calm and patience. Design trading strategy and try with account demo, fix mistakes and never do that again. Repeat that until you find the best strategy for you and do that with real market. Bitcoin better than altcoin, trust me. We all know bitcoin is mother coin, their price action always giving impact to altcoin. Besides that, even the price too low like this time, bitcoin still has stable volume. Today, bitcoin is more accepted becomes alternative payment but altcoin not all. i'm one who spend too much time for trading. I made so many stupid mistakes because of thinking emotionally instead of logically.  what is your opinion? For me, that's true, too much time for trading you'll gonna lose healthy, family and money. Manage your time trading wisely, don't push yourself too hard. Maybe you can use long time period for trading/ investment for the first step, control your emotion with patience and disciplines. If I planned on buying some coins today. Which would be the better long term investment, and why?
Bitcoin is still the right investment, even there's big speculation about it. Bitcoin is mother coin, altcoin will follow bitcoin. If we see price action, bitcoin has lower price but stable volume. But altcoin falling down and again and again, that worst for investment. Replace your money ( 20 - 40% ) to buy bitcoin and wait until August, see what happen. I discovered bitcoin when it was about $5 per coin and during that time for several reasons I could not buy it. I discovered eth and xmr when they were around $10 per coin and I could not find a good place to buy them. I discovered netko when it was about $0.05 and I could not get the wallet compiled. I probably had around 40 bitcoins and cashed them all out under $800 and I could name more.

First, I ignore cryptocurrency as one way to make money and alternative payment. Second, loss with trade crypto. I really don't have knowledge when start trading but I push my self to work with this. Lost almost 40% from my money within 2 weeks is my biggest regrets, I should study first before trying something that I don't understand. This time I try to control my self and read some books before doing something. Besides that, I join some group with cryptocurrency as their topic. I think every ICO have product, but how they manage & promote product is the best way to become success. When they has a product and keep running hard works to become knowing and give benefits it something will interest people to join. I like Monaco ( project closed ) and opus, because they know how to manage their product and always update information about it. Transparency and support team is needed to grow up member & audience. More big exchanges such as OkCoin start to trade the coin ETC.
I invested my money to buy some ETH. But I also think that ETC will have a very good future. Probably the price will reach 150$ this year.
Every coins has chance to become number one or better future and we can't do anything about that. People have their own strategy and opinion and for me that's natural. ETH is stable coin, see their price action history and volume, this coin has good reason to replace our money. About reach $ 150 this year, I doubt that. There's no passive income, you should do something to get income. Investment, trading or else you must do some research to know which one is the best for you. Calculate profit and risk for stop loss strategy and read some books for knowledge. No easy way to get income, try and fail is what we deal with it. I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.
Anyway, considering with what happened to Ethereum price and with the nearing Aigist 1, do you guys think that it will still be profitable to invest on ICOs mostly on ERC20 tokens and those accepting btc payments?
Tha's why I never invest in ICO, just join bounty and sell the coin after released. Besides that, today more hacker with their bad attitude make ICO company get trouble. I still invest with btc because btc is mother of coin, no doubt about that. Never buy coin this month, many speculation about 1 August can make ICO scam or becomes dump, specially with ethereum. For me ethereum is better than ethereum classic and that's why invest with ethereum is recommended. Depending my strategy I only see price action history with long time period, volume and news speculation. Even today ethereum price falling down but this is the right time to buy it. I see all coins including bitcoin going back upwards, so is the dump over now? will we see all coins go to high values now?
Some people taking a good move with buy some coins, that makes price action up. I think their strategy says now is time to buy and keep believe the price will come up soon. They have different opinion to buy or sell what they got but is good because the price too low and this is the right time to collect some coin. Once it happens, btc will be worth million dollar.Will then all Altcoin be died?Seems Altcoin price are inversely proportional to btc price, if btc keep rising, will Altcoin keep falling? .
I don't think so, altcoin price action depend many things like supply, demand, news speculation and btc price itself. Altcoin will grow up follow bitcoin as their mother coins. But market has their own answer, as a trader or investor we only can predict. That's why we need stop loss and money management for safety. Altcoin will never died, never lose faith on that. I only have monero and eth, no more coins. I decide to sell all my coin and replace with only eth and monero after I got loss on trade. Too many coins with different pattern make me stress. @Kaznachej123 How many coins have you and your team bought from yourself? (Recycle). How to scam: 1. Let people pay with ETH to get tokens. 2. Take the ETH and buy your own tokens (recycle) (No one can find out who bought what and how much). 3.  4. Profit. 5. Come up with some stupid excuse why the project failed. 6. Run with the money in your pockets. Bonus: Nice extra accounts you got here on the forum. But you might brush up on your English you 1-2 guys controlling all the extra accounts. Bonus: Nice spelling mistake of your own coin name in your OWN WHITEPAPER. L.O.L. This is a good project with easy platform to use, besides that, this is can be another way to invest. If you don't trust it just leave and replace your money with another project, simple isn't?. How to identify whether an altcoin is scam or not? This happened with me today. I bought ACRN coin from yobit yesterday for 0.01btc and today morning its price was 1 satoshi  Doomed!! Scam or not is the risk we must deal with it, but we can identify coins become scam, it's just happening. That's why you need to read some books, join group with altcoin as a topic or make a demo account and test your strategy there. I suggest just hold your coin and see next month, but if you want to sell it tha's your call. Good luck. |
