121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meet the Wealthiest People in Crypto on: May 14, 2019, 09:12:30 AM
This is truly the definition of the "the rich gets richer". They will always have an advantage to grow their money because just even 10% of their wealth thrown into btc, it is still going to give them many times the roi. While us poor is just trying to find where we can find some money that we can invest in btc.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Just a Shady ‘Ponzi Scheme,’ Rants Goldbug Peter Schiff on: May 14, 2019, 05:04:24 AM
Peter Schiff has been throwing crap at bitcoin for years; and I think one of the main reasons being that Peter Schiff owns a gold company, SchiffGold. Hence he really had an incentive to crap on bitcoin, and at the same time, advertise gold when he is being given publicity by the media.

Yeah, I witnessed all his lunacy when bitcoin was on the big hype before and he always just want to showcase his gold and nothing but gold. They are the people who are going to chase this market when they realize that they are really wrong and I think the $150k-$200k price of btc on 2020 is enough to make them change.
123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what to do, if an exchange disables trading for certain currency? on: May 14, 2019, 12:09:43 AM

You have nothing to do against delisting ... Look for another exchange or try to trade your coin  P2P with other users

i have crmsn(crimsoncoin) in coinexchange, now trading has been stopped what could i do with the coins.

it will be delisted on 27/3

what could be done?

Agree. That is why you need to monitor you coins in exchanges from time to time because they always give a time to sell or transfer your token before do the delisting. I receives some emails in exchanges when they plan that but most of the other just does not care to send me one. I also have a rule when I buy shitcoin is that it need to be available on another exchange so in case that happens, I have the option to transfer it.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rising, Scams Rising on: May 13, 2019, 04:00:15 PM
We already knew that back in 2017. I remember that infamous TBC ot the billion coin from nigeria that all those  unaware victims trying to defend it. This will not stop if people will just not try to be rational when investing in something. I am not wishing this but I am expecting a larger scale of scam when btc approaches $100k.
125  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-08] Hackers Are Shuffling Binance’s Stolen Bitcoin on: May 13, 2019, 01:57:16 PM
All of you people already figured out many ways how the hackers will succeed taking all the money they stole and withdrawing it without getting caught. It just simply means that they have a lot of options while Cz has no power to stop them. In short, hackers always win in crypto.
126  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-12] ‘Facebook Coin’ Will Be More Like Bitcoin Than Starbucks Rewards, S on: May 13, 2019, 11:44:47 AM

Under the code name “Project Libra,” tech journalists say, Facebook, Telegram, and Signal are devising their own digital token, which would allow their billions of users to exchange money across the Internet, through their payment systems.

... That remains to be seen because I am sure that this future coin can also have its own flaws and it all depends on how the marketplace can react into it.

It's biggest flaw is the centralized authority that are behind it. Facebook are one of the largest centralized information gathering service for governments and now they want to add people's financial data and spending habits to that.

Would people care about financial privacy? I doubt it, if you look at all the crap that are shared on social media and how people whore their personal <private> life on Youtube for likes and views.  Roll Eyes

People are enslaved by the social media so anything that you will try to feed them, they will swallow it without even tasting it.  But I know that there will be a turning point where people will start to care about privacy but I think that is still very far. They will patronize that fb coin for a while in the future until major issue will rise that cannot be tolerated anymore.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with small budget on: May 13, 2019, 07:03:28 AM
Trading with small amount of capital is wasting of timr because you earn also a small profits. Trading with small profits is advisable for the newbies in trading to pratice how to trade professionally.

It depends on how small. If it is  just a dust balance then it is okay to use it as a practice trading but if he can invest $100 and above then it is a good amount to start trading seriously because if you already forgot, some altcoins can jump to 100x when there is a bull run.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here we are! lovers' of bullish trend. on: May 13, 2019, 04:43:14 AM
From the look of things it seemed the bullish trend has commenced and most of the langing indicators are showing uptrend signal. I am a lover of bullish trend and I do wish the market keep going upwards with a little reset along the ways and I do believe that we all has the desire of seeing bitcoin and cryptocurrencies market be in good condition.
The bearish trend that commenced in December around 15, 2017 seem to be over and now we are awaiting another bull run that may create another pathways that we have never seeing before. My desired is that all the cryptocurrencies holders and enthusiast become millionaires, billionaires and the leaders of the world financial system.

Only for btc pal. It's not complete bull market for me if I ain't seeing my altcoins having the same rush with bitcoin. Altcoins have lost more than 500% of its value and I don't when it will start keeping up. I hope I can recover my altcoins first to sell them so I can buy them other cheap coins before btc starts pumping again.
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin on its way to $20,000? on: May 07, 2019, 08:52:19 AM
If you guys only aim for $20k in this year then stop dreaming for $50k and above. Because if we pursue that then we could reach all time lows after that pump. We should exceed that price and target higher so I'm fine if we started to reach $20k on 2021 because that is much a better year to make people trust btc again because even if it dropped, it will just surely play between $25k.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: May 07, 2019, 06:17:01 AM
I was perusing another forum today with a long running cryptcurrency thread. To my non amazement they're still debating the nature of the whole thing in the exact same way they were 2-3-4-5 years ago. The same people are waiting to be convinced. The same people are trying to convince them.

This strikes me as a complete and utter waste of calories. I'd rather let people believe what they want. Me convincing them won't help anyone. They're not going to convince me of anything. My attitude is - crypto is here. You may as well sit back and see what happens as nothing I do, say or listen to will change it.

Are you still embroiled in debates with friends and internet creeps or have you let it slide?

For me, there are always two kinds of people which is the ones who likes it and the ones who don't. I won't please them or persuade them to look at bitcoin and be an open-minded if they really show a huge dislike at it completely. The only thing that can change their mind is if the entire world is using btc and they have no choice but to adopt it as well.
131  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any good Bitcoin games around? on: May 07, 2019, 04:11:41 AM
I used to play games the give you few satoshi but I can't remember the website name but I know one of them has a snake game, a shooting alien game and mining game. They were so good to but I came to realization that my time versus what I earned on those platforms is not that fulfilling.
132  Economy / Marketplace / Re: For god's sake, stop lestening to mainstream Media and wake up people... !! on: May 07, 2019, 02:07:49 AM

JP morgan COE slates bitcoin and crypto and then JPM buys dip and develop blockchain..,,.

Facebook  bans crypto adverts and promo then assings team blockchain   development and will develop own cryptocurrency.,

Bill gates slates bitcoin than just day later wants to use bitcoin's legtening  network.

Banks blocking crypto exchanges and card and closing accounts then goldman sachs launches own crypto..
One thing you should know about cryptocurrency is that not everybody will benefit from it. There are lots of people that are involved in this and everyone is fighting hard to earn something out of it, and a lot of people want to make quick money, but one thing is that it’s never going to favor everyone involved. There are people who are going to lose and those that are going to win. So it’s left for you, if you’re wise enough, then do what you believe is right and let others do theirs.

I know what you are saying that everyone will not become rich in crypto but the tech if adopted is still a win-win for all of us.  Just imagine if the blockchain ledger is implemented in all government transactions then the world will become a better place. In our country, politicians always do projects where they buy substandard materials so they can put most of the money on their pockets instead.
133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realistic Predictions for Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2019, 03:03:45 PM
The bitcoin and crypto market in general is so volatile that it's hard to predict the price.

Personally, until bitcoin get implemented to a stage where you can use it effectively in every day life, I do not think it will grow any further. The dream is dead.

Yep, that is the only way. First is we need to know what country and how many of them are going to have a demand on bitcoin. If majority og 1st world countries are going to adopt it for everyday use then $100k is just around the corner once that it is confirmed. But that dream is still blurred because of the same FUD and persistent bankers that saying btc is a fraud.
134  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1 Billion Dollar’s Worth of Cryptocurrency Stolen in 2018 on: May 06, 2019, 12:35:45 PM
Cryptocurrency intelligence firm reported that CipherTrace’s Q3, 2018, cryptocurrency thefts had already reached $927 million.

Previously CipherTrace second-quarter report said, the company identified that there were more thefts during the first half of 2018 compared to the entire year of 2017 alone. Some $731 million worth of cryptocurrency was stolen from exchanges with some of the most notable hacks including that of Japanese exchange Coincheck at $530 million, and BitGrail that lost some $195 million dollars’ worth of tokens.

As of the Q3 report, the number now stands at $927 million lost in cyber attacks and CipherTrace predicts that this trend will continue. By the end of the year, they say, thefts will add up to well over $1 billion.

I know that this data is very upsetting but I am sure that security team of exchanges or trading sites have  learned many things on this incidents. They will implement tight measures so we can avoid losses that reaches billions of dollars in the futrure. But I know that there's much more losses on money laundering cases in banks and governments' corruption that we experience here.

136  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit IEO's on: May 06, 2019, 06:41:52 AM
Since no one's said it, I'll say it. This Yobit IEO is exactly like their ICO in the past.

It's only a change of name, but the model's exactly the same. It's just a fanciful way of running a game of crash. You issue tokens, put up walls to support certain prices in certain days. People wait and let the price go up and try not to dump too soon. Every single ICO run by Yobit in the past continues to trade now below the listing price. Well, well below.

So in summary, this is NOT an IEO the way other exchanges claim (it's not a vetted project at all, hasn't gone through assessments and due diligence). It's just a game.

What do you expect? If there is a contest on what exchange that does have a tons of shitcoin then Yobit would be the official winner. And why do people still use that garbage exchange? It is  2019 everybody and there are a lot better and new exchange out there. There is a huge hype in IEO so any exchange should be expected to take advantage of it.
137  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: May 06, 2019, 04:39:08 AM
I believe we certainly do. It is very effective for large companies who needs to record a lot of transaction and inventory tracking like in shipments in cargo and etc. It is also beneficial for medical records in case they lost the physical records but it could now be saved in the blockchain ledger that is very easy to find.
138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is This The Last Time To Buy Bitcoin Cheap on: May 06, 2019, 02:17:48 AM
I'm not very sure but I can confirm that if ever we passed the 2nd half of this year without going to the bottom again. Because base on my observation, everytime we get to the 2nd quarter every year, btc and the market goes healthy and I am not exactly sure why. It's like a pattern and I don't know if it is because people have more on those months or etc.
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of 1 Satoshi rise to $1? on: April 30, 2019, 01:59:55 PM
I think there is no way that is possible because that looks a highly manipulated price because not every country would have a high demand on bitcoin and don't you forget that altcoins are also going to get the piece of the pie. The altcoins are going to take huge marketcap too so even btc having the price of $1m is just going to be a dream.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitfinex massive spread on: April 30, 2019, 11:18:48 AM
Stop panicking guys, I think we are already safe from that and I feel that its effect is over. And besides, most of the capitulation happened last year so most of those weak hands should be gone by now. This won't hit us very hard this time because what is left are the real supporters and real long term holders so the impact of the FUD is just a mini damage.
