I see on your Roadmap on the first page in this thread that you plan to have your own Exchange sometime in Q4 along with mobile wallet. How come you are aiming at your own exchange? what are the benefits and will it be linked to some of the major ones?
Hello SpockSenior, We have this in mind yes, today lot of coin get listed in major exchange and minor exchange, it create high discrepancy of price, sometime manipulation. Other cons also is highly expensive price to get listed today, you can't imagine what major exchange are requesting on it. For now we are concentrated to populate our Github and show some product, exchanges/listing and other will be easy after we will have beta, to show all community and investor that it's not only talk. ZeCash Team When you explain it like that it makes a lot of sense that you would opt for your own exchange. But what do you have to invest to get your own? I would guess it is not an easy thing to do. A lot of legal advice is definitely necessary. Agree with you, expecting it to go to 1 dollar this year is a bit much, but overall this mini analysis of current surroundings and atmosphere is solid and sound.I personally believe that Verge has the ability to go up to 30 cents this year as it did before, but with one significant difference.Organic growth, more credibility and adoption will make that 30 cents stable not just rise to 30 cents and the back down like it was the case in past surges.
Yep, i as well think it might hit the 0.30 in December/January for some time .... That's a more realistic preview and expectation i share with you. Exactly my personal prediction. All the pump and dumps on Verge causes people to expect it to go high and then fall. That makes more people open to selling if it starts to fall. Unless others are ready to pick up that amount you will se a repeat. The fundamentals does not matter as much in crypto as in stocks, and traders do enjoy theese swings in prices  Actually after reading what you said I did think a bit and can agree with you that we might need to see a few repeats of that modus operandi as mental picture about XVG is exactly the way you described it.People are use to XVG going high and then falling back.Though organic growth that I believe in will pick up naturally after few cycles like that and falls will be less dramatic and slowly change the approach to XVG as very unstable currency. |

It may not appear very promising, but this coin has gone on a rally before and could do so again. The only piece of the puzzle missing is whether it has what it takes to moon before Ripple (XRP) does.
While it's a nice read and some of the info is just correct, like the Ripple Inc. developements that are not related to the token itself and therefor should not any role at all, some other things i doubt are like the things you wrote them. While i personally think that the XRP token is way overvalued, not even talking about the huge max. supply, i as well doubt that XVG has the potential to go to the described $1.41 by the end of the year, this simply won't happen. Even less the $10.57 in 5 years. 5 years in cryptospace is like 500 lightyears away. Seriously, while it sounds good for every XVG holder, someone should never lose contact to the ground. We just point that ZeCash coin will work on Proof of Stake Mining, which require just a simple computer with a ZeCash Wallet to process transaction instead of Proof of Work Mining wich require high sophisticated and expensive GPU/Asic material to process transactions. I have no idea about your first question. About the second question, i suppose it will be a Visa or Mastercard. So you will be able to pay everywhere, where they accept this card. The merchant you buy from will not even know, that you pay with your coins, as he get his payment in fiat.
And what's the point if the seller I'm buying from gets fiat? Convert it again fees, there is no benefit there. It is also my question. Problem is what benefits shops could gain by using debit card of Coin. Beside that, Almost people don't familiar with crypto currency, even don't trust so I think the fact that applying debit card of Coin will be a long story... The point is, that the shop dont has to do anything. If there is a shop that accepts credit cards as payment, you can use your coin-based credit card there. The shop dont even know that you pay the credit card bill in background with coins... He gets his money in fiat. So for the shop it is the same if someone use a USD Credit or debit card or a coin based credit or debit card. But the people that want to use coins, can do so wherever they want to and whatever they want for... Exactly that, shops don't have a clue that you have credit card loaded with crypto, they just see conversion, fiat that they get from you.The real beauty is that you as the owner of that credit card can use crypto as a payment method basicly without any restrictions and you are in complete control over your money.That is a dream that is worth paying some fees to provider of that credit card. |

Debit cards are cool for a certain target group of people. Although banks are already moving on to digital wallets, copying one of our market's breakthrough, and they are in a test and adaptation period right now. No one will really need to hold a bank debit/credit card on his wallet in a few years. What we need is to be constantly ahead of them and not rollback to their 1980 technology. Token pay will expand Verge though and they aren't only interested in cards, so I think it is a good move. yes, It's so hot if This news will be done in this year and Verge will go up to the sky . I expect Verge will become a payment coin for online shopping in next year. Very promising project and I like that it is being identified that in order to be successful it needs to me more user friendly and easy to use with incentives for people who use it to bring it closer to mainstream.

Pretty good reasoning, it makes sense, it would lower the transaction costs significantly and plus is that Spotify is a tech company and lets say familiar with crypto so this shouldn't be like a huge step form them, but a natural progression. |

Very cool coin. I use for translation because very small commissions + anonymity and support from large exchanges.
There is still growth potential.
Same here, very fast transactions and low fees make it a great coin for moving things around and when you add anonymity it's a win-win.Needs a bit more improvement when it comes to wallets, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with Verge despite all the FUD. |

Please to see project like bitcoinClean showing up and new approach to more earth and eco-friendly crypto. Hopefully others will soon follow to try to reduce the impact of mining on enviroment. Renewable energy is a way to go and happy to see that crypto is on that path too.
