There are several coins for now that you can get for free: 1. DeepOnion. based on Tor network anonymous coin. very hot now 2. Byteball. Blockchain is different - DAG. Already good working wallets with contracts, bots. Very good 3. Stellar Lumens. If you are bitcoin holder you can claim free stellar coin from official site till 27th of august 4. Bitcoin core. Fork of bitcoin. Each week you'll receive extra 10% of coins if you have 10bitcoin core coins in a wallet
No, it's Bitcore, not Bitcoin core.

I'm currently participation in the deeponion[onion] airdrop. Have just recently started looking for airdrops, so this is the first one I have attempted. Good luck.
In my opinion, that's not airdrop. You will be paid just if you wear their signature. Airdrop is distribution of coins for free. But you are wearing their signature and now you cannot join any signature campaign in this forum. you're right--we need to define these terms more clearly.. some ideas: giveaway - a donation to anybody (they may not even ask for it) airdrop - a giveaway of one asset to owners of a separate asset (perhaps sharedrop should refer to airdrops done in proportion to the amount of the separate asset which is owned) sigdrop - signature campaign giveaway under these definitions: CLAMs is an airdrop, but not a sharedrop. Byteball is an airdrop, but more specifically a sharedrop. DeepOnion is a sigdrop. Would BitSend qualify as an airdrop since it requires you to own a bitcointalk account of a certain status? Kekcoin is a memedrop Many coins are trying to skirt the "no giveaways" rule on bitcointalk by calling themselves airdrops when they are just giveaways. Because of this rule I expect many people to use the BitcoinGarden forum for giveaways. There are not many true airdrops: Byteball (and Blackbytes), Stellar, CLAMs, Bitcore, OmiseGo, JUMBLR, and a bunch on the Waves platform. Does BCH count as an airdrop?

so i just reload the airdrop page to enter another address and repeat process?
also.. i tested a small amount with an exchange XLM address and it's not working.. i guess i just donated to an exchange?

is airdrop still going on?
|
|

when will snapshot be taken? has it already been taken? (some people are claiming this but i see nothing on omise site confirming it)

Has an aid drop ever actually become valuable? I don't mean situations like bch where you had to hold another coin or bounties, but coins that are sent for free without any conditions.
NEM airdrop now worth 7 figures, Decred airdrop worth 6 figures, and Ripple airdrop only worth 5 figures now. At time of airdrop the amount being given was almost nothing. Somebody please correct me if these figures are inaccurate. There are many other airdrops/sigdrops/giveaways, and they are usually worthless or worth very little when given, but if you hold for years, some will probably become quite valuable. Holy shit! I can't believe NEM, Ripple and Decred were air drops. Wish I had been around back then. 1. my bad--they were not airdrops--they were giveaways (you did not have to prove ownership of a separate asset.. any warm body was able to partake in those giveaways.. although i think Decred called itself an airdrop) 2. i think only some smallish percentage was given away.. for example ripple kept most of the premined XRP as a company asset.

Why will they drop coins lol? they worth a lot.
I don't get it
Same reason drug dealers give out samples. Airdropping a little is a great idea.. give people a taste.. just a little coin.. oh yes they will be wanting more.. Airdropping is a great way to build allies, increase distribution (everybody talks their book, so more people will shill the coin), and give people on the fence a little coin to play with and they might buy more.

Yes, the amount of 0.0000025 CLRT is insufficient, especially since 250 participants are not reached. Maybe it's better to distribute tokens now between those participants who already have it?
it's impressive that people will spend more in gas for an airdrop than the airdrop is worth. this is a good example of how cryptocurrency is like digital crack.

make it a scam lol. If you don't want people to call your altcoin a scam, make it a 2012 BTC clone (a scam) For some reason people spend much more energy slandering innovative coins rather than ripping actual shitcoins.

Very cool distribution model moving forward. I expect Overstock and Newegg (among many others) would be interested in participating. There is no downside for them. Based on this new model, I would guess we have several more distributions, likely through the end of the year.

you get bonus on GBYTE no matter what.
you only get blackbyte bonus on GBYTE if it is linked to a bitcoin address (which could be empty--you can do this in 2 seconds with a blockchain.info address, or on Electrum).

i think polo have too often getting down because of something but i don't think that poloniex will be scam because poloniex is supporting by the law in offline and they are really responsible with this. but i think poloniex must fix their problem in support system because their support system is really bad and need few days before they answer their members ticket.
what you mean with "poloniex is supporting by the law in offline?"sig campaign posters make lots of mindless posts.. i ignore most of em. he probably has to make a minimum number of posts per week, and wants to make his posts longer than 1 line, so he doesn't look like the prototypical farmed account.

This is one of polo's BTC wallets: https://blockchain.info/address/12cgpFdJViXbwHbhrA3TuW1EGnL25Zqc3PThis is one of polo's ETH wallets: https://etherscan.io/address/0x32be343b94f860124dc4fee278fdcbd38c102d88No, these guys are not insolvent. They're being shamefully unprofessional in following up with their recent announcements about the BTC hardfork and BCC/BCH sidechain tokens that are rightfully the customers' who hold BTC on the exchange; as well as utterly disgraceful in handling their support requests. I, for one, am not worried. A little digging and the dox for the CEO/Founder of Poloniex are on this forum. And anyone that's been in the crypto game for long enough has seen the same as I have; scammers getting eviscerated and devoured by this community. Lol I think that everyone that works for Poloniex knows it is in their best interest to get their shit together and start telling us what's going on, STAT. that BTC address is now empty.. lets hope they're just moving funds for safety before moving BCH to separate wallets.. edit: looks like this is probably the case since they appear to be sending withdraws from an address that received coins from the above BTC address the ETH wallet has been inactive for 7 hours. edit: they just started moving funds again maybe they're not insolvent, but something is up.. lot of red flags: - support tickets unanswered for months - withdrawals 'pending approval', not processing - lots of wallets have gone down recently when there was nothing wrong with the wallet in question - TOS changed 8/1

OMG POLO is back lol
not exactly cant get past main page, and it looks like withdraws have been down for hours

down again.. this is lookin bad.. how does polo still have so much volume?

Every participant will receive 0.0000025 CLRT (ClusterTokens) after the airdrop has reached 250 participants. How many CLRT are there? I don't see it on CMC. What prevents somebody from using a bunch of different addresses to register?
