BCH All Time High on Bittrex: $1,311 BCH All Time High on Kraken: $811
Meanwhile bitcoin peaked at $2,900.
Could it be that everybody is holding because: - we can never be sure how things are going to turn out. - both blockchains could end-up being equally valuable in their own way. - most bitcoin owners are not poor peasants looking forward make a few thousand dollars for free. - nobody uses bitcoin in real life so pure speculation is what drives the price and not market economics. - holding is life.
And of course, most people are retards and didn't move their coins to Kraken, Bittrex and ViaBTC even though they had weeks to prepare. So we might have yet to see real volume.
Here we go again, I'm gonna get called a freak and a liar and told I exhibit some weird memory deficit but I distinctly remember the ATH on Kraken being over 3000 BTC. That means it's closer to $10 million.

I think you'll will find it's retards that left all their coins on an exchange during a hard fork.

And to be clear if bcash crashes, that's not the interesting part, the interesting part would be what the nefarious players are willing to do/bet and for how long to prop the price how high? We have enough exchanges now that you cannot fake this long term.

I think you'll will find it's retards that left all their coins on an exchange during a hard fork. Yup. I use kraken, literally make my living on them. But I didn't park my entire damn fortune on it. Just a small amount, which still gave me enough free coins to buy a couple plane tickets. The rest is coming once they sort shit out, and very, very carefully so I don't lose anything along the way.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-eu-banks-deposits-idUSKBN1AD1RSEU explores account freezes to prevent runs at failing banks BRUSSELS (Reuters) - European Union states are considering measures which would allow them to temporarily stop people withdrawing money from their accounts to prevent bank runs, an EU document reviewed by Reuters revealed. The move is aimed at helping rescue lenders that are deemed failing or likely to fail, but critics say it could hit confidence and might even hasten withdrawals at the first rumors of a bank being in trouble. The proposal, which has been in the works since the beginning of this year, comes less than two months after a run on deposits at Banco Popular contributed to the collapse of the Spanish lender. Bullish?

Bitcoin is becoming more immume against all these cheap hostile takeovers.
Jihan's HF in November is just another alt-coin, he will never make enough profits from it to fund his Bitmains expenses.

LOL it's been allowing deposits since yesterday night. I was here yesterday complaining the second confirmation was never coming... I just left a limit order there at 0.25 and it was fulfilled this morning. Sold half my bcc. Other half is already under 0.48 limit order, let's see whenever it fulfills... Where can I dump? Most exchanges that I checked are not accepting BCC deposits. I tried to sign up for VIABTC and I keep getting an error "Don't try too frequently." WTF, I got this error on the first try. How is that too frequent?
hitbtc is accepting deposits, but I transferred my free bcc 2 hours ago and only got 2 confirmations. Such a fiasco!

I'm waiting for this thread to return to some real discussion about BitcoinTM, not some shitcoin clone wannabe that no one here cares about.
I'm also waiting for all the troll day traders with like a few hundred dollars in bitcoin max, running around like chickens trying to figure out how to make an extra 25% by trading their free shitcoin on some shady exchange, to leave this thread for good.
I've got enough BCH that I could single-handedly dump that shitty market all the way down to $1. Don't tempt me.
(and I'm sure that I'm not alone)
BillieJoeAllen, is that you? Hahahahahaha Torque. Your two bitcoin is only worth 2BCH, so it is not going to cause as BIG of a splash as you are making it out to be.

Bcash cost of production (difficulty) is now being slashed by 20% per block for the next 6 blocks. Expect miners to follow cost of production slavishly. Forking guys have no idea what they have unleashed ... it will become apparent soon now.
