I have never had any of these problems with Bitcoinwisdom.

More than half the bitcoins are already in circulation. Block halving won't really have that much impact anymore.

it is unsafe as it is a shared wallet.
Please explain. Shared wallets means that the private key is stored on the server. If the entire server gets hack or go down, you would not have access to your coins anymore. Desktop and cold wallets(including blockchain.info) however, allows you to have control over your private key and is open sourced which is safer than online shared wallets. I believe Coinbase stores most of the coins offline, but I could be wrong. I'll look into it. True that, but they do have a possiblity of running away with your coins or blame them on a 'hack'. You would not have any ability to check on them as your private key is not with you. I have a little more faith in Coinbase then any other. They just became the first US regulated bitcoin exchange so I'm pretty sure they are trying to do everything on the up and up.

Don't have one. Don't want one. Can you offer some advice besides get a checking account? That is advice. I'm not sure how you are going to get through life without a checking account. Usually people that don't want a checking account are either a teenager, a criminal, or very poor.

You can't have an avatar picture. At least not for newer accounts.

This one seems dead.
It does. RIP xc/blocknet (and all other scamcoins created by outsourcing from Dan M) January 27th, 2015. Luckily, I figured out XC was crap before it fell apart. I was such a big supporter at the start. I feel kind of stupid about it now.

My Jake as a puppy. Jake loves Bitshares.

If they do it will be yet another place where Bitcoin can be spent to further reduce the price. I don't why this news excites holders.
Please don't take offense, but this could be one of the dumbest comments on this forum.

Looking back won't change a thing. There are many opportunities in life. You can sit around feeling depressed and watch life go by or you can look for the next big opportunity. I heard about bitcoin when it was trading for less than $1, but I really don't think about it the way you do. It's over and time to move on. Think about all the opportunities you missed in the process of feeling bad for yourself.

But does he like how the NXT initially was distributed?
Think about your comment again. He said that NXT is his favorite alt. All positive and negative aspects of NXT are probably included in that statement.

[1] Ethereum [2] NEM [3] Maidsafe [4] NXT
[5] Bitshares
Nice one, can´t agree more. LOL at crossing out Bitshares.

haven't kept up with this whole thread (it's a lot).
any summary of the most important news, launch date discussed?
see the post a few comments up. screen shots of multisig = 0.5.0 beta release should be very soon = launch couldnt be far off now. Launch would be awesome. My only concern is the party for new alts is over. Unfortunately, unless the coin is truly innovative or has a built-in use, it's bound to be just another coin in a sea of hundreds.

will there be a 2nd offering of at least when can it be listed on an exchange?
Hi Vince, yes, there will be a second offering in March. Check the previous posts for more details. Cheers! I'm really looking forward to the 2nd offering and launch. The site is amazing.

If you don't use your real name then you won't be able to use Coinbase. Yes, there's actually a legit bitcoin company.
