But some people just wait after proof or announce about what they are going to get for buying XC in return... I'm all for dividends, but 99.98% of the profitability of this coin for the near- to mid-term future will simply be in holding it. You're very right that good documentation is important, and we're working on that, but in my opinion the core architecture and the quality and pace of development is what sells XC. Crypto development moves at the speed of light. Innovative today is your old flip phone tomorrow. |

I think you guys don't understand opportunity cost and portfolio theory. The question isn't whether Silver is a solid investment or not, but whether XC has more potential over a certain time horizon. Using some of your silver to purchase an investment you think will perform better over time isn't crazy, you should just make sure you do the necessary research to feel confident in your investment decision. Nobody here knows what % of your portfolio is in silver, so they can't answer the question. As it stands, he has the option to purchase silver with his btc, or any alt coin. Blindly saying he is crazy is a bad response. Why don't you guys just sell all your btc now and buy silver with it. According to your posts, you would be crazy not to.
Sounds like a plan! I have no problem purchasing gold and silver with alt coins, but I don't like to do it the other way. Doesn't matter how sound I think the investment potential is with the crypto. I personally can't do it. Potential vs Precious Metals (a known solid investment). And what happens if that "potential" investment goes the other way? I will just drop this right now due to the risk of derailing the thread further. |

We are closing a deal with another dev we are working to join our team who has already completed decentralized storage. This was the last piece of the puzzle, cache now has everything we will need to achieve all the goals of cache. The clean rewrite and features are all lined up now, just a matter of finishing the code now.
Since cache is an old (relative to other coins) coin and doesn't have that much attention, maybe you should consider re-branding the coin on bitcointalk. Update the OP by introducing the team and updating the developments. I know I'm new here but most people don't know anything about cache. The coin needs some attention or it doesn't matter how great the technical developments are. |

Jasin made a statement in the XC thread about certain features of both coins. About 10 minutes after that statement the price of CACH exploded. I know this because I was trying to buy about 500 CACH at around .00045 a short time after the XC thread went mad about the statement. It was much more about Jasin's posts in the XC thread and not really about the conference. Anyone can disagree all they want but I was at my computer screen while it all unfolded. I ended up only picking up 345 coins at a cheap price. |

2.5 m total coins,cheap right now, made for league of legends game, they have bots already approved by rage, i think it will go off soon, but i bought so cheap i couldn't care but won't take much to get a good profit, league of legends has a big user base, it's all about getting more XC anyway. You will be surprised how quickly you get filled without so much as a hiccup to the market price. I do about 7-8k volume per day playing both sides of the fence. |

i bought 50k of my holdings at 500 satoshi's as well so it's not because i need to hold that long to make my profit, it's because i believe in this project, more then anything i have seen since BTC
 In an XC world ull be freaking Saudi Arabia and im just a little golden boy i might be optimistic but i think in a few years 2-3 BTC will be worth 10k+ each and coins like XC and a few others will be worth 500-1k each if you hold 1k you will be a rich man, relax I find 10k slightly optimistic, but as crazy as that might be I also believe bitcoin will rise, and along with it some alternative options. I also think that bitcoin will become obsolete at some point but right now we should back it up I used to think the same way about BTC being 10k each, then I read about other rich investors saying btc will reach $98,000 each in a few years. I used to think BTC would be worth 10k+ but now I don't think it will be even close to that. The innovation in alt coins are progressing at a super fast pace. IMO, the future involves many alt coins that will all be used for transactions, investments, store of value, etc. Eventually, BTC will be just one coin in a sea of coins being used for many different functions. There are many alt coins that have now survived for longer than a couple of years and the innovation in the new coins that aren't scams are very impressive. Now we have XC and don't think for a second we won't have more talented developers step out from anonymity and identify themselves to the public so they can build the next crypto platform. If XC becomes successful, we will see in influx of super developers putting their names out there. It's just getting started. |
