I would use https://blockchain.info.  Easily the most well known and trusted online wallet.
162  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Well knowned cryptocurrency bitcoin losing its market price.!!! on: January 17, 2015, 01:49:39 PM
I am wondering what the hell is wrong with bitcoin price? How this is possible? Price is dropping like crazy are there any bad news to back that price drop?

It's not about bad news but a lack of good news.  Most people either don't know what BTC is or are completely skeptical.  How many of us actually spend our BTC?  Most of us don't use it for anything but speculation.  I've owned BTC for a couple of years now and I can say that I never bought one good or service with it.  If people don't use it, it's worthless.  The price is going down because of the limited use and people are losing faith.
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think 1.00 BTC will worth more than $10,000.00 USD at any time in 2015? on: January 11, 2015, 11:50:46 PM
BTC at 10k in 2015 is very unrealistic.  Assuming everything goes as planned for BTC, we are a good 5-10 years out before we can even think about a stable price in the thousands.  My personal opinion is that BTC will never be priced over 1k ever again.

I would like my BTC back for the cost of 1 GF share.  I'm sure you made up the cost of the miners by now.

It kind of sucks that you guys missed the entire NFL and NBA season.  Make sure you have the site up and running for the start of Baseball.  I know a lot of people are starting to play fantasy sports for Soccer and Cricket as well.

Meh.  IMO, "BRO" is part of the mainstream marketing appeal for the gaming site.  If it's ever quoted on Bloomberg like Bitcoin is, then it can easily be changed at that time.  Bittrex, Cryptsy and other exchanges are unregulated, so I doubt any coin has some kind of claim over the symbol anyway.  It's trivial.

Ok, I won't be playing with abysmal software however. Well, maybe 50 or even 100 hands once a month or so. Can't stand the constant clicking all over the place wearing out my mouse hand when I got used to easy multi tabling on party using my ahk scripts and 18 tabling 5000 hands per day. Can't imagine I'm the only one.

The software won't matter when random eSports and Fantasy players decide to say "maybe I'll give poker a try with some of my BRO". Grin  So, you can battle it out with other multi-tabling rakeback grinders or find a new ocean of fish.  I usually only play 4-6 tables, so software isn't as big of a deal to me.

Tell me, what features would make their online poker software more presentable?  How can you comment on the functionality when you haven't played on it yet?

Dunno if exactly more presentable, but more playable for those who play a lot and generate lots of rake:

Please tell me I'm able to set bet/raise sizes using mouse wheel and to bind any key for bet/raise/fold/call.

And maybe even bind different buttons for betting and raising 1/2 pot, 3/4 and full pot.

And for a bonus maybe even different ratios for different streets.

I mean if I was creating a poker client from a scratch I'd make sure these are built in. For full feature list, please check PartyCapion for example.

Well, I was really asking the other dude because I wanted to see if he was just trolling.  I'm pretty certain the features you are asking for aren't major updates for any poker software.   Hot keys, bet size buttons, and using the mouse wheel are standard updates.  I remember when Full Tilt poker just added the bet size buttons and all anyone complained about was that it made it easier for fish to learn about bet sizing.  Cheesy  Now you guys are spoiled.

Try grinding on the Revolution poker network, Bovada, or SwC.  If Bovada can be the biggest poker network for US players with that abysmal software, I'm pretty sure what Breakoutgaming currently has will be just fine.

That's literally all you guys got going on, is that single 'demo' clip. Go ahead and google 'Online Poker' and it will take you to a better functioning, more appealing, and much more presentable online poker games. This is such a sad attempt at something big, granted its not a scam. If this has any hope of any sort of adoption beyond the handful of Bitcointalk investors, this dev team is going to have to try ALOT harder. But based on their management & PR skills shown, I wouldn't hold my breath, personally.

Go on. I expect a counter argument. But knowing you, there wont be any but further name-calling. Learn to take criticism, and ultimately accept that you've been duped.

Well, the jury is still out on whether you are right or wrong on this project, but it's quite despicable that you are actually rooting for people to get burned.

I don't know how much experience you have playing online poker, but the odds are that you don't have nearly as much as i do.  Let's just leave the Poker Stars and FTP software out of the argument because they have hundreds of millions of dollars in capital to work with.  So, outside of PS and FTP, some of the other major poker networks have some pretty crappy software. Have you played on them?

Tell me, what features would make their online poker software more presentable?  How can you comment on the functionality when you haven't played on it yet?

So, Gian Perroni is head or marketing?  Not many crypto projects have this kind of experience behind it.
Is this Gian?

Why would anyone buy coins at an inflated price of 500% so the first phase ico buyers can dump anywhere underneath that. While the rest of the latecomers have to sit by and watch the value of the coin plummet?

It depends what you think the future value is going to be.  It's very possible you can buy BRO cheaper after the ICO, but you won't get Bergstake in the secondary market.  It's something you need to consider.
to penalize late comers 500% is off the wall ridiculous, what is the stake % anyways

Who said it would be 500% ?

It was just over 100% and then they changed it to make it more fair at the end of ipo, i also mentioned that it was ridiculous to give the investors of the first few days 100% more benefit than people investing in the same IPO but 25 days+ later , and i am one of the primary investors of the first day.

It's actually 400%, but who's calculating?
so first phase was get get 5000 bro/btc
Last phase is get 1000bro/btc
Where did I go wrong? Should equal 500% diff no?

Let's not get into how to calculate % increase/decrease.  There's a difference and that's all we need to know. Just like when the price of something goes from 1 to 2. It's not a 200% increase, but a 100% increase. We can just leave it there.

You aren't getting penalized.  The first sale is over.  Every sale has to end sometime.  Wait until the secondary market if you don't like it.  You have a choice.  It's not off the wall when you consider the ICO was opened for a ridiculous amount of time.  You had over 30 days to make a decision.  Sorry.

So glad you lost thousands to JasinLee's project btw, couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Smiley

Well, that's a terrible attitude to have man.  No matter what your opinion is of Dan's detractors, you should never lower yourself to this level.  Even Dan would probably tell you that JasinLee has done some shady things, so it's probably not appropriate to condone this kind of behavior from someone that was once associated with XC. You can do better.

Just my 2 cents.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BRO] Breakout Coin Sale *Last Day Bonus* | PoB | Poker Celebrities on: November 21, 2014, 03:44:11 PM
I am an early first hour investor.

The moving up the investment to a higher amount per btc is the better move instead of leaving it so low like it was, it's fair to give an advantage to early adopters but not to the amount they had it at, jesus christ over 100% bonus while still in the first stage of a 2 stage IPO that might have a private sale

most Alt coins have done jack shit all month so i didn't really risk anything by depositing sooner. might of saved it considering the alt coin climate currently

It was a huge crutch in the earning potential of the coin as proven with the very shortly after rise in interest when it was made into a more reasonable priced coin for someone who is still a first stage adopter of the coin.

The amount i bought at was 6600 , well it was 6000 to begin with now its more than to begin with technically, but i would find it highly unfair anyone saying "this is so unfair, they deposited money after me and get less than me but its not low enough compared to how much i got they shud get even less than they got" that's when it would border on childish behavior i think.

them getting less than me is understandable but me having any ability to determine or even judge just how much less they get is just far too bias and unfair that it shouldn't ever be done.

Just to play devil's advocate here.  While I mostly agree with your point, posting a video of actual working software is a significant piece of information that steps the project up another level.  The video shows just how close they are to a client ready application.  Being from the online poker world, I understand that it costs a significant amount of time and money to make this kind of software and from the look of it, it's probably already better than the software of most other poker sites.  In today's alt-coin universe with 99% of the coins being scams and broken promises, a video of functional software is a mountain of positive information that can be used to make an investment decision and warrants a significant increase in price compared to everyone that invested before it.

That being said, I understand both view points and respect whatever decision is made by the Breakout team.  Of course, I won't be complaining about extra rewards for early investors.  Wink
