122  Economy / Services / Re: Need Escrow who's up and white listed? on: August 21, 2014, 12:06:04 PM
What does whitelisted mean in this context?

I wouldn't trust a newb who pops up to just advertise a site. Always rings alarm bells.
123  Economy / Digital goods / Re: get me while im on tilt...selling $750 amazon for 1 btc on: August 21, 2014, 12:03:45 PM
Everytime I've tried to buy an ebay card off here with a ridiculous discount the deals have always fallen through with some excuse or another or they go quiet when escrow is mentioned. The change in value of the card seems a bit fishy too.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Joining different wallet files into a single one on: August 21, 2014, 11:55:36 AM
This would actually be a good idea, but I have no idea if it's even feasible or not. I'm not really an expert behind the actualt technology, but isn't there a way to import the private keys so why not a way to import them all from several wallets?
125  Other / Off-topic / Re: Full, Member. Sr. Member and hero member account worth? on: August 20, 2014, 09:31:13 AM
I think the going rate :

Member : 0.06
F Member : 0.12
S Member : 0.24

Thanks can anybody confirm this?

I think Senior Members actually go for double that, or at least they did. Seen them sell for 0.6 before. Hero accounts go for around 1 bitcoin, but usually a bit less, though I did see someone sell one for 1.2 but it had some green feedback and was quite old.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you been doing with your Bitcoin in light of the price drop? on: August 20, 2014, 09:27:44 AM
I've been doing nothing the same I always do. Once you've been in bitcoin a while thre crashes and bounce backs are normal. Sure, I got worried the first time it happened but now I just carry on and my hope is for what bitcoin will be worth in the near future, not today or tomorrow or even later this year.
127  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: August 20, 2014, 09:25:45 AM
Legendary is hardly unatainable, but I think that's the point that's it's only given out to those who have earned it. The ranks were increased a while ago and people were downgraded membergroups and this lead to a few complaining as expected, but if the ranks are changed frequently then the sytem will become confusing and essentially meangingless. It should be chnaged as little as possible, but I see no problem with higher ranks being added as time goes on.
128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A friendly reminder :) on: August 19, 2014, 01:50:06 PM
I think you've got to be pretty silly to get the forum ads mixed up with signatures, though I saw it happen the other day when someone made a stupid statement about them. I don't even really notice the forum banner ads to be honest as they're not that noticeable to me or maybe I've just got used to them.
129  Bitcoin / Press / Re: bitcoin on this weekend's UFC on: August 19, 2014, 01:45:01 PM
You need to format the thread title with the date like all the others and they link has been removed as suspicious.
130  Economy / Services / Re: win88.me - signatures - 0.15 BTC paid up front on: August 19, 2014, 01:40:30 PM
Member rate is still low for me...
this campaign provide upfront Grin &  other signatures are allowed

But the payment send to win88 account
then you must bet a bit to WD,am i right ?

i just think why you getting payment from this campaign ?
and now your signature still in dicebitco.in ?

i think you cheated

I think many people will cheat this campaign. They have done on similar ones before. I've seen a few leave other deals for this and I'm wondering if they'll put their other signatures back and try claim on the other one when their time is up?
131  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 18, 2014, 02:27:39 PM
I'm sure he will be ok. We can vouch that he had his signature in up until he switched deals a bit ago. Stunna or Micro probably already checked as well.
132  Economy / Services / Re: win88.me - signatures - 0.15 BTC paid up front on: August 18, 2014, 02:21:17 PM
I don't think paying users in advance is a good idea. People will cheat the campaign like they have done in the past. People will sign up then leave or not make many posts at all. Somebody last time went as far as to buy accounts just to collect the advance payment lol.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mistakes the media makes on: August 18, 2014, 02:03:56 PM
The general ignorance of the media is quite annoying especially when the public just believe it without questioning. The whole bitcoin is a ponzi or isn't backed by anything therefore it isn't worth anything is frustrating too.
134  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 18, 2014, 01:16:45 PM
PD was the first campaign I joined and was on it for the first few months I think until I moved to a fixed rate deal because I was making less posts. I'll be a Snr tomorrow I think so maybe I'll be back sometime soon as I have more free time recently.
135  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favourite TV show? on: August 15, 2014, 08:22:55 AM
There must be about ten of these threads already. My favourite show of all time is The Sopranos, but my recent favourites have been Game of Thrones & Breaking Bad.
136  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: August 15, 2014, 08:21:19 AM
I noticed it linked to that thread too and is from a newb. Easiest way to confirm this is to PM the guy who runs the thread he linked to. Are you going to do it EternalWingsofGod?
137  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hilary Clinton's foreign policy is already terrifying on: August 13, 2014, 10:58:29 AM
What's the difference? They're all the same and will all just want to create wars. This is their entire business plan.

When Hillary is elected to the office in 2016, she will make Obama look like an angel in comparison. Hillary is the most war crazy politician who is currently active in the American politics. Her role in Kosovo, Bosnia.etc are examples. An ideal candidate to trigger a WW3.

Agreed with this. The sad thing is I think she's going to get elected. Rand Paul doesn't have a chance but I don't think he's be much different either.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep your bitcoins secure if you suddenly disappear (jail or prison) on: August 13, 2014, 10:50:22 AM
How would you keep anything else safe if you got locked up? Bitcoin is porbably easier to secure than you're regular finances or posessions. Put em on a USB stick or a paper wallet.

There is currently a lot of bullshit laws in the USA that a red-blooded white man could easily get jailed for.

Poor White Americans. I really feel for their persecution.

Do you know that Abe Lincoln is jacking off in a FleshLight and Ronald Reagan is holding a dildo. ROFL

LOL I totally didn't notice that.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Ready for the Major Leagues? on: August 13, 2014, 10:37:35 AM
Bitcoin is ready, but I don't think that's the question... the questions is the mainstream ready for us? I think it'll be a slow but steady growth but it's clear many more merchants are warming to the idea and seeing the clear benefits.

"Only 48% of American adults know about bitcoin"

Stupidest phrase I've ever read^^

Thats totally not true.. maybe 4.8%. I went to the bank and was asking about connecting my account to my exchange online and 3 of the 5 tellers didn't know what Bitcoin was. One had heard of it, and one actually knew it was a currency and people used it. And these are people in the financial industry.

Yeh, that figure seems made up and way too high.
140  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-08-12] U.S. watchdog calls bitcoin 'Wild West' of finance on: August 12, 2014, 10:33:40 AM
I prefer to think of us being renegades bucking the trend rather than being lawless criminals or something. And if anything was the Wild West it would probably be Wall Street or the Bankers with their dirty criminal fiat money.
