42  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-09-28] Bitcoin’s Commodity Label Is Positive News on: September 29, 2015, 10:44:27 AM
https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoins-commodity-label-positive-news/

Bitcoin has been facing a lot of criticism since day one, as most people still see the virtual currency as an investment vehicle for the wealthy and the elite. Hardly anyone would have ever believed that exactly this trait would be one of the major determining factors to take Bitcoin mainstream. Ever since Bitcoin was added as a commodity on commodities markets, there has been a growing interest in this “investment vehicle of the future.”

I cannot see why they would say Bitcoin is only for the wealthy and the elite.

I don't understand this either and haven't really seen any one say it. Most of the time its called a currency for nerds or geeks but now investors have got involved they might say different. I think that many millions are being poured into bitcoin from all these investors shows that its not just us that can see the potential in bitcoin.

The only song I like by them is nymphatemine. Great goth vibe but their other stuff is too heavy.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin makes revolution on money transfer market ? on: August 18, 2015, 10:15:38 AM
Bitcoin is a revolution not only in money transfers but in anything related to money , so much like between diskettes and USB 3.0 sticks

But maybe bitcoin will be the diskettes compared to usbs in the near future. Something better than bitcoin could always come along, though hopefully whatever was better could just be implemented into bitcoins code if it was obviously better (though I doubt it would eb as easy as that looking at the current block sized debate debacle.

47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia takes first step toward Bitcoin as currency on: August 04, 2015, 10:59:11 AM
In a positive sign for financial technology startups, a government inquiry has set the stage for the digital currency Bitcoin to be treated like a "national or foreign currency" in Australia.

I think all countries should just treat it like a foreign currency. It's much less confusing for everyone then and I think it makes it seem more legit as a currency to the general public.

Pd have worst support and moderators ever.

That's generally not true. Many users seem to think so because they can't grant access to lost accounts without the proper credentails when people lose their 2FA, username or passwords.

These newbs who lose their funds or access to their account should take better care of themselves. I've never lost money or access to an account and if you don't download crap to your computer or keep it safe you should have no problems. It's like the people who lose their forum account on here 9/10 they downloaded a miner or program thinking they could get free money or something and it contained malware and stole their forum account and bitcoins they had on their computer or blockchain.

I'm sure they will prioritize them by relevancy. Hardly going to rush to get a dna match on regular criminals. You can also get dna tests within an hour if you go on Jerry Springer show or its english equivalent Jeremy Kyle  Grin.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Satoshi return? on: May 30, 2015, 01:09:57 PM
Well, I think he should. Whether he does something or otherwise to the codes, his return will certainly give the boost in the level of confidence. Probably it sends a message that somehow the developer is still around to support the coin. Indirectly, for others it will give the impression that, there would still be hope.

People will be more confidence with him returning here but there will be a lot of threat to him . I think that he is still here, probably in contact with some of the member of bitcoin foundation and giving advice to them but to return as himself, satoshi, I dont think he will ever do that

Why would anyone be any more confident? satoshi is essentially powerless to do anything really. In fact, if he did return it would probably give people doubts or worry because they might not believe its him but if it is then there's an issue of what hes going to do with his coins. At the moment they're stagnant but if he mysteriously comes back to life then he may want to cash out his coins too which could lower or crash the value if lots are released onto the market.
54  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: May 13, 2015, 11:10:10 AM
this bitcoin gambling site always make me happy with its smooth surfing and i losse here very low bitcoin in compared with other bitcoin gambling site...cheers recently i losse 0.001btc :p and won 0.005btc

It seems I have same experience with having profit by playing PD. When first attempt, I was bet BTC 0.01 with 90% I thought it was easy to make it profit. But I was greedy on that time. so I loss at the end.
But I'm still trying to make a profit. So I playing with different ways, just like Hui ever did. Playing 9900x with small chance of winning but provide a huge profit. So I'm deposit BTC 0.01 again and play with 1000 satoshi per bet and I was got lucky because I got BTC 0.099 profit. At least I can chase my loss and turn into profit.  Grin

That's true up to a certain point and I think you are becoming wiser in your betting strategy.  Just always keep in mind that the longer you play the closer you get to the averages claimed.  So if you make 49.9% bets and a house edge of 1% it doesn't ensure that you'll win 49 or even 48 of the first one hundred bets.  You may have to roll a million times before the averages balance out to an actual 48.9% of wins.  The key is to play as long as you can and to maximize profits during win streaks and minimize losses during loss streaks.

It takes a lot of patience and even means making .00000001 bets very frequently.

gl2u my friend.

this is true, dice gmabling isnt profitable in the long term with the house edge in play, and it should show in the "luck" statistic PD provides. having patience and making 1 satoshi bets as stated above is definitely a great idea to maximize your chances of profit.

That is true of all gambling not just dicesites. With any gambling you need to know your limits and know when to stop especially when the fun stops. Dice sites can suck you in pretty fast though as they're so quick with how they operate and its easy to get lost in the game.
55  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS]Torrent Invites/Accounts [Smoothnesspuma, Nxtgn, HD-Spain, FUN, EOTI...] on: May 13, 2015, 11:05:54 AM
Are these private trackers really any better than public ones? Wouldn't open ones have more people and more seeds?

For example, PassThePopcorn has the biggest movie database. Bigger than any other private or public torrent tracker. That is why its invites are expensive (price depends on several factors).

Do you have any PassThePopcorn invites? Can you also go any lower on a what invite or do a deal for both accounts if you have them?
56  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling experience - max negative times in row on: May 11, 2015, 07:24:52 PM
30 loses in a row is 1 in a billion chance, there are reports of a little bit more but not much more since no one would have enough bankroll to sustain more than 40 loses in a row even if you start with 1 satoshi bet

So how safe would you be by using enough funds to ensure you can do 30 rolls or a little over? I hit a little over 20 losses in a row a few times back when I first got into bitcoin and was using the dice sites. I won quite a bit using martin gale but then kept going and lost so then I quit haha.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we assume that Satoshi cashing out his coins would be noticeable? on: April 18, 2015, 12:02:11 PM
I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of people who are closely watching his known addresses for movement. Any movement would indicate that he is most likely back.
This could mean a lot of things. He'd be at risk if he does so.

Exactly. You can 'watch' addresses with blockchain.info so you'll immediately be notified if any coins get spent or even received so their movement would be noticed immediately. There would then be numerous people and individuals trying to track and trace the transactions. If he cashes out a possible link could be found there. I'm sure he's smart enough not to sell them on an exchange though.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Report Predicts Boom in Bitcoin Adoption by Marijuana Dispensaries on: April 18, 2015, 11:59:03 AM
I don't know. A few months ago, Bitpay actually turned down requests from some of the Colorado Marijuana sellers to process their payments. Coinbase is also not that excited about processing the weed earnings.

Well a lot of banks wont work with them either. I think they're likely just worried about the possible legal ramifications seeing as it's still illegal at a federal level, though I'm sure if processors like bitpay wont deal with them there's a gap in the market for one that will. They could also just accept bitcoin directly and exchange it themselves at whatever point.

Miracle #1

"He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth."(The Qur'an, 6:101)

Wow such proof. I'm sold. Am now Muslam.  Roll Eyes

Only fools will look at the quran or bible and believe anything it has to say, especially regarding anything scientific. Look how you take that one line and project some deeper meaning on to it when all it and the bible explains for the origin of everything is "god did it". Absolute rubbish.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ7HiY49P3w

this one is for you specifically

Wow, thanks. This video really put things into perspective for me. The Bill Gates question really proved everything about Allah and how great he is /sarcasm. Thanks for wasting 20 minutes of my life. I literally have no idea what you're trying to infer this video proves other than how utterly delusional and nonsensical religious nuts are. There's no substance there but utter waffle and science proves everything he said otherwise but obviously he conveniently disregards that. Can you summarise what point you were trying to make or what I should actually take away from that video because I'm lost? To me 'Dr' Zakir Naik is just a televangelist making money and getting rich off the back of the bullshit he sells to others and probably doesn't even believe himself. Always hypocrites peddling rubbish.
60  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-07] ARS - Bitcoin Foundation is “effectively bankrupt” on: April 07, 2015, 11:24:56 AM
I don't see how having 4.7 million means they're bankrupt but I doubt they'll be able to sustain operations based entirely on donations. That's their problem. We don't need them and their members seem to just serve their own interests as opposed to the greater good of bitcoin and everyone else.
