Really disappointed the dev dropped this coin.

Anyway, lesson learned and time to move on.

Topic is self-moderated. This post will probably get deleted. I would avoid at all costs.
why would you avoid?

my only concern is what happens if all shares are not sold? Only 50K shares out of 2M sold so far. Also the block explorer has over 6M coins in existence?  have I missed something?

Bitsta, can you give any idea on when BitKey will be released?

Also what is the status on the exchange? is it still on track?

Good to see distribution system still going.  Dev, any updates on future releases for this coin?

Has anyone had contact with the dev over the past week?  I just went into the IRC channel in the OP and it empty!?!

This is going to be big.

With the news of Nubit just around this coin has entered the market at just the right time.
129  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [DIY] - Reward $100 | Antminer S1/S3 Blade on Raspberry Pi on: September 12, 2014, 02:00:05 PM
So, does this mean (in theory) that this system can be used to control multiple S3 blades from the S1 upgrade kits?

Well done J4bberwock (i think! Unfortunately most of this thread is way aver my head).

Stephen

In theory yes, but it would require some heavy mod work.  The problem is the blades are manufactured identically.  Each chip on the blade is assigned an address on the UART bus.  The problem with multiple blades on the same bus is there will be address conflicts.  The MCU on the S1 and S3 controller uses 2 UART ports, one for each blade.

Why is say in theory it can be done is because you can change the address of the chips by bridging pins, so, in theory you could change the chip addresses on the second and third blade and have them all run off the same UART bus.

ok, official legend status goes to J4bberwock

YOU are the man. I think it is safe to say the bounty goes to you, and you deserve it.
For RPi I think the same solution works out of the box, simply install the cgminer version and you are off.
TOP MAN!

I couldn't agree more. J4bberwock deserves the bounty. I have sent 0.025 BTC to the address in your signature. Tx id = e13405cc62b73c17b4290c24fd59b0f99d9a14523f98e678716cc37320c40953.

Check this guide out, it should give you the commands for setting the frequency.

https://coinreport.net/overclock-antminer-u1-guide/

just a note, the S1 uses different hex values to the U1, so make sure you use the S1 hex values

I had a feeling it was going to be easy, but you actually went ahead and got it done.  This should also work for the S3 as the chip is basically the same as the S1.  This has opened a new branch of S1/S3 modding.

before Zadig

The laptop is slow as hell, Zadig takes hours to update the driver.

Nice work, what are you using as the USB to UART bridge?

Good luck, and I hope you can generate more interest.

I'm not usually someone who will invest in ICO's, however I like your vision, and after a little research, I'm confident you have good knowledge of cryptocurrency, the crypto ecosystem, and more importantly, how to successfully trade in crypto.

The problem is, a lot of investors have been bitten recently due to scams.  Investors want to play it safe and minimize bad investment.  One way to do this is investing only in coins where the dev is well known, or has undergone POD (you will see a lot of investors now invest in the developer, not the coin).  My advice is get POD done ASAP, before the ICO ends.  I believe this will generate a lot more interest.
136  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [DIY] - Reward $100 | Antminer S1/S3 Blade on Raspberry Pi on: September 11, 2014, 10:42:40 PM
Looks like  it will be very easy. Just tx rx. Loks like we need just ttl converter for each blade. For example ft232. And i2c to read temp.
no need for temp sensing if you don't mind the noise of the fans.
and yes, it's probably easy like that and having cgminer recognizing the boards.
That's the reason why I'll use the mr3020 router that have almost the same hardware than the control board. Firmware could work directly.
If it works as expected, updating cgminer for other platforms should be easy for software guys.
I'll have 1 or 2 hours to look at it tomorrow, willl keep you updated.

Good luck mate.  I still stand behind my donation amount if you can get this working.  It would also be a bonus if you can get it working on a windows platform using a simple USB->UART bridge.

I believe the other signal is for fan PWM to control fan speed.  I don't think this would be needed as fan can just run at full rpm.  So really it does come down to a 2-wire RX/TX signal

I believe this can work if the in wallet bot is used to control buying and selling of the coin.  P&D rely of weak hands, FUD, and trolling to manipulate and control the market.  If the bot is controlling buying and selling, I don't expect there to be much market manipulation by P&D groups.

Ive decided to invest for a couple of reasons.

1. Dev team so far seems to be legit, and have agreed to POD as part of the escrow agreement.
2. IMO the ICO looks attractive based on the expected market cap at launch.  To me the ICO seems a good buy.
3. It refreshing to see a coin offer a new idea.  I'm getting tired of every coin offering anon as its main feature.  We need new innovation and new ideas.  Something which this coin has the potential to offer.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-ANN][VLT] VolatilityCoin| x15 |~ A CryptoCoin Index | Pre-Sale Escrowed on: September 11, 2014, 04:50:27 AM
Interesting coin, but there isn't anything stated in the escrow agreement that the dev will complete POD prior to release of funds.  Can devthedev or Benjig please clarify on this point?

I can clarify that pod will be made before releasing funds. He will add this agreement to the actual escrow, pming him.

The held investments will only be released to the developer after the VLT has been distributed, POD verified and there's an overall stability of the wallets, blockchain.

The escrow agreement will be updated in the morning to reflect this statement.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Great news, this makes me happy to invest.
