Let's discuss the emission please.
That seems to be the focus of the complaints about this coin. Any new currency must have a fair emission in order for it to pass muster down the line.
If the emission was hackneyed or ultra-fast and then converted to POS, that is bad.
Can someone ELIAP and use small words and pictures so simpletons like me can understand why VanillaCoin has a fair distribution that will stand the scrutiny of time?
For example, if I distribute all the initial coins via POW in the first couple of weeks, and then transfer over to POS, that's obviously scamish. That means that all the real work was done in the first 2 weeks and a lot of people rented out server time, got a shitload of coins, and now stand to make a lot of money off of people buying in to the currency later. This shifts the motive of the coin from technology and ideals to profiting the first users... that's no good.
BUT, if you distribute the coins slowly over a period of years, and then have some perpetual emission afterwards, that's a good thing. That shows that you are trying to achieve a wide and fair distribution to all.
So, please enlighten me about VanillaCoin distribution.

Is the wallet stable enough to keep large funds in it?
Yes, it's stable, just make sure to make backups of wallet.dat (copy-past or via console) from time to time. |

All your time and effort trying to bash VNL can only be for one of two reasons:
1)You honestly believe VNL is a bad coin and investment and you feel it is your job in life to protect strangers investing in it.
The problem I see with this reason would be you would not have a newbie account, you would be a Hero member with a history
of warning people about coins you don't like.
2)You are a Hero member that started a newbie account to anonymously FUD down the price of VNL because you feel you missed
the boat and want to buy a substantial amount at a lower price.
Well, here is my advice. VNL at 21k sat is still very cheap as this coin has potential of > DASH, > .01, and market cap in top 5 coins,
so just buy some. And if you are looking to buy a substantial amount that would move the market price up significantly for you, then
you might want to post for any VNL whales to PM you for an off market sale. In any case please stop the FUD, as it will not accomplish
your goal and just makes you look ignorant about the coin project. Have you ever even just sat in #vanillacoin IRC for a few days and
watched all the github pushes from John? You really should do your research or stop playing dumb.

I know satoshi and he told me hes about to dump is premine next time we hit 300$ thnx for info. in other news im pretty sure vanillacoin has forked, ive sent 5 different transactions and no arrived yet, the pool owners are on the first fork. bittrex about to be disabled. id say some losses will be incurred.  |

Well, don't you think it would be better to ask C-Cex support about your issue directly? I doubt anybody here can give you a qualified answer on how and why it happened. |
